Review: Do you know how long it’s been since Lush has made something that I absolutely love as much as my favorite discontinued items? It smells similar to my Lush love…Psychodelic bubble bar. Unfortunately I was the only one who thought so, this ballistic went bye bye as quick as it got here. *sigh* It’s orangey and spicey. It’s spicey too but not overwhelmingly so, not like in Skinny Dip. It smells like cardomom, cinnamon, clove.  It even has what looks like a gum drop in the middle of the outside (Bindi) that is edible.

Ingredients: 200g £2.10

Sodium Bicarbonate, Citric Acid, Creamed Coconut Powder (Cocos nucifera), Orange Oil (Citrus dulcis), Ginger Oil (Zingiber officinalis), Black Pepper Oil (Piper nigrum), Perfume, Paprika Oleoresin (Capsicum frutescens), Kaffir Lime Leaf, Jelly.

Lush Times 2006 description: Our spicy new Ballistic is hot in more ways than one. Its soft orange colour is spiced up with a jelly jewel ‘bindi’ which it wears on its forehead – or where we like to image a Ballistics forehead would be. Its orange scent is spiced up with ginger and black pepper essential oils. Orange revives you when you’re feeling bored and tired; ginger warms you up and gives you a feeling of well-being. Black pepper, The Black Gold of India, The King of Spices, was widely prized throughout the ancient world; as an essential oil it is said to be energising, to help tone your muscles, reduce muscle stiffness and aches, detoxify and get rid of eccess fat – rather like an evening of dancing to bhangra.
