Lush Times 2005 description: Fans of the Butterball will be enchanted by its new little friend, the Bon Bomb, so named because Shona, who manages our Brighton shop announced that it had a ‘bon bon cream soda sort of scent’. It’s very fruity with a charmingly sweet, spicy flavour to it, rather like a posh perfume. Bathe with a Bon Bomb and your skin will smell very superior. It will also feel fabulous as we’ve pressed a mass of natural butters into each one; tiny pieces of mango butter, shea butter and organic avacado butter float around the bath until they meet your body, at which point they transform you into a softer, smoother, more mosturized person.
Vegan $3.30 3.3oz
Ingredients: Sodium Bicarbonate, Citric Acid, Shea Butter (Butyrospermum parkii), Perfume, Mango Butter (Mangifera indica), Avocado Butter (Persea gratissima), Lime Oil (Citrus aurantifolia), Sweet Orange Oil (Citrus dulcis), Gardenia Extract (Gardenia jasminoides)
Review: This is a smaller bomb. I like the smell and was afraid I wouldn’t. I feared it would have that “Lemon Pledge” lemon smell but instead it’s very yummy lemon/lime sherbet smelling. It is pretty moisturizing too. Be careful this has so much cocoa butter that the tub can become very slippery. Also needs hot water so the coco butter melts fully and doesn’t form little globs in the water. I think this may become a staple ballistic for me.
Notes: The rare Lush “Fanfare” ballistic was the Bon Bomb scent, bigger size, and no cocoa butter.
