This is a shower gel that Lush introduced for the first time this year for Easter 2026.
It’s a thicker shower gel, a bit gelatinous in texture. It has tiny brown bits in it which are banana seeds. It’s somewhat more moisturizing than other Lush shower gels but nothing so moisturizing that i’d get excited about.
The scent does smell banana-ish, and It’s slightly sweet.
Lush will be making a body spray of Banofee Pie on March 17
Banofee is pronounced Ban-ah-fee, like banana and toffee. Its name comes from combining “banana” and “toffee,” and it’s known for being a no-bake, easy-to-make, and indulgent treat.
Banoffee pie is a classic British dessert with a base of crushed biscuits (like graham crackers) mixed with butter, a layer of rich toffee or dulce de leche, sliced bananas, and a topping of whipped cream, often garnished with chocolate shavings or coffee powder.
It’s good. It’s not up there with great gourmand fragrances like supermilk or posh chocolate or anything, in my opinion anyway. It’s not as sweet as i thought it might be. It’s more of a natural smell. It’s a bit better than ‘meh’ but not like ‘Wow!. So i rate it a 3.5, that means i would still suggest it but i didn’t finish the bottle i had. I used almost half the bottle then I gave it to my daughter.
To be honest liked the Lush/Minions collab ‘Bananaaa’ shower gel more than this.
To be fair i did have a group of new shower gels from lush at the time that i bought around the same time as Banofee that i liked more, like Protect the Galaxy shower gel from the Mario Bros. collab and Mother of Dragons shower gel from UK Mother’s day (which comes earlier than our mother’s day), and i thought these two are a lot nicer.
Or Maybe it was just the batch from where my bottle of Banofee came from, your mileage might vary.
It is a gourmand dessert-like scent. It’s got bananas in it along with vanilla, labdanum and Tonka.
Lush has made two exclusive body sprays in June 2026 and Banofee Pue is one of them. The body spray is better than the shower gel in my opinion. it’s yummier and a bit more carmely.
