Don’t Rain On My Parade

4 out of 5 rating. See my Demo Video Below

One of four Lush shower gels which came here to North America a year after debuting at the first Lush Superstore Oxford Street in London England in 2014. These four shower gels including Lord of Misrule, Don’t Rain on my Parade, Beautiful, and Wash that Man Out of My Hair.

This Don’t Rain on My Parade below shower gel is a teal, blue colour. Scented with blueberry juice, vanilla, cassie, voilet leaf, ylang ylang and sandalwood. Its sweet and floral and good.

similar to Ultraviolet but sweeter like their “Tuca Tuca” massage bar, and ‘Violet Nights’ bath oil.

250g (8oz) £9.50 (17.50)

Here’s a “family reunion portrait” of all the Lush products throughout the years which have this same scent, including the large sized wash card in the back. Its a wash card/paper soap.

the front two called ultraviolet arent in this scent family.

Here’s a video i made of it where i discuss the scent of Don’t Rain on my Parade and the other two shower gels in more detail 🙂

Sept 1, 2015

I won a trip to Lush Headquarters in Poole, England last year. It was from Mark Constantine, Owner and creator of Lush Cosmetics to thank me for some help i gave the writer of the Lush book (Danger: Cosmetics To Go) some help i gave them for some ctg products. I had a lot of ctg products in my Lush stash.

It was a magical trip, a dream come true.  And I recorded a lot of video for you all.

I’m building this page, organizing all my cosmetics to go product photos that i’ve taken throughout the years.  I will also have scans of the Cosmetics To Go catalogs here. 🙂 I’m building a list of Cosmetics To Go products from their Catalogs, with product photos, background  and ingredients info.

I still have an array of items from Lush founders’ previous company “Cosmetics To Go” (CTG), inwhich i’ve made a video of.  This is the video that won the Lush contest and which led to a Lushie dream come true.  I’ve collected them throughout the years.

Many years ago the owners of Lush were kind of enough to send me all of his original press Cosmetic To Go catalogs, dating from 1993-1996,   still wrapped in their original sealed plastic packages.

The products they made were To Die.  If you think Lush is great you should see these!

In the meantime, enjoy this video below. 🙂

Here is my (signed by the author Mira Manga) copy of the book, available now at Lush stores near you and online at lush.co.uk or lush.com

heres a video I recorded of a vintage catalog
I made a video of this edition today, here it is..

Here are some photos i took of a few pages of my CTG catalog. I have ten catalogs and will taje photos of each page of all 10. Its going to take a while so i thought id uoad these for now. I got a follower who asked if i was going to do this, so this is in response. Enjoy. If yoi have comments go aheadandpost them here and I’ll try my best to answer them.

This is the Constantine and Weir/Body Shop Banana conditioner and coconut body butter. Lush remade this on March 2025 to celebrate the pre cosmetics to go company. Constantine and Weir became Cosmetics to Go, which later became Lush. constantine and Weir. Made some products, like some of the body butters, for the body shop back then.

The coconut body butter doesnt smell like coconut. I just wanted to make sure everyone knew that. Its made with coconut however and it makes this a lushious texture.

well i cant seem to add any more pics on this page so ill add more pages to add more catalog pages and i put a link on the bottom to the next page, just click on the title below
