5 out of 5 rating. See my 3 minute demo video of this facial oil below.
This is a solid facial oil. Lush has introduced four kinds. Some of you might be famiar with the popular 7 step korean skin care method. I follow the korean beauty trend. I also have been using the facial oils from the U.S. brand Sunday Riley. I love what facial oils do for my face.
So i was excited that Lush had created their own facial oils. And Lush went a step further by making their facial oils packageless, and solid.
I got all of them from the Lush 2018 creative showcase in Manchester England.
I wanted to try this Banana Skin first to review for you, mostly because this one is what my skin needs. Its nourishing and moisturizing for drier skin.
Right off the bat i can feel the difference tapioca flour that Lush adds to their facial oils makes. It makes it more of a dry oil, which i Love. If theres one thing i hate its having greasy/oily stuff lingering too long on my skin.
The scent is like custard. Lush adds tonka bean to this blend. In face there are SO many good things in this bar.
Lush uses tincture of bananas, which is factory waste, in the banana skin facial oil.
5 out of 5 rating. Really i.should give this a 6 if there were such a thing.
See my 3 minute Tub Demo video below
In 2018 Lush put on their huge yearly Creative Showcase event where they get to show attendees what cool and inovative products they’ve invented over the last year.
One of the rooms thete had the ‘Bombshells’. A place where fresh flowers and plants grow and fruits and giant hollowed out bath bombs were displayed.
There were four different kinds of these giant bombshells. Citrus, Seaweed, Floral and im not sure of the Pink One’s name yet. Ive used and reviewed all but the seaweed one, i still have that one left. The others are here
This here is the Floral Bombshell.
They have two halves which are seperate and you can put fresh flowers or fruits inside and close the other half on top so it’s like a shell.
Heres my 3 minute tub demo video
Two different colors, and two different textures. It was like bathing in a beautiful watercolor painting. Soft and pretty, ever so slightly sweet floral scent. very light Glitter. 5 out of 5 rating. They were £18.00 i wish i had two or three more of these. I like all the different Lush bombshells but this is my favorite one thusfar.
There is a creamy, pink layer over the periwinkle blue water layer, which makes it look and feel as if im bathing in a beautiful watercolor painting.
I wish i would have bought two or three more. This is amongst those small number of Lush bath bombs that are so big, good or otherwise special that they belong above the 5 out of 5 rating vath bombs. Floral Milk is one of those.
These New mouthwash tabs are different than the toothy tabs and are upcoming new for the new upcoming all naked store in Japan. This new store will be the second all naked store, the first one being in Milan, Italy.
These are naked, portable mouthwash. Im not at a sure if they will be sold in this same kind of container – because i just got these from Lush for the creative showcase as a gift. So they were put in these bottles for me to travel with.
Heres a photo of my Lush toothy tabs and mouthwash tabs.
How you use them is you take one and put it in your mouth and start to nibble it between your teeth. Take a swig of water and then swish around the mouthwash tab and water in your mouth for a minute then spit out.
My favorite were the golden pear and the zing, but all of them worked well when i tried them.
I will also do individual demos and reviews of these next week.
Lush introduced five or six of the exclusive Lush Japan bath bombs at the Lush 2018 Creative Showcase. I’ll list them below and include links to the product article.
I’ll add those store photos and more products here on this page over the next couple of days.
Lush will open its third all naked shop in Japan in mid 2019.
Lush introduced the products that will be made for this store at their annual Creative Showcase.
I was fortunate enough to attend the annual Lush Cosmetics Creative Showcase this year, 2018.
While there i was lucky enough to be able to buy the following exclusive prodicts, and included are a couple of exclusive products which were given to me by the creators at the showcase.
Amongst my favorite products are the six bath bombs that were on display at the showcase. Once a day (the showcase was a two day event) a magical van would open up in an explosion of smoke! And out would pop a group of Lush staff dressed up and leading songs about the bath bomb that would be demonstrated before those of us in the crowded line. Then they would announce that the bombs would be sold to those of us in line, one per person, until they sold out.
I was able to get multiple of each because my husband bought a ticket to the event too and was with me in line. He bought one too and gave his to me. Additionally, we had tickets for both days, so the next day we waited in line again and bought one each again.
Then as we were leaving, i got a call saying the owners of Lush wanted to thank me for what ive done for them throughout the years by giving me a bag with some goodies which included one each of these six exclusive bath bombs.
I couldnt believe it! So this is why i have multiples and have been doing giveaways with them.
So i have taken photos and videos of all of them for you.
While roaming around the creative showcase my husband and I happened upon an area that was beautifully arranged with fresh flowers and other goodies. It looked like a garden in the middle of everything at the Creative showcase.
Upon poking further-a kind woman demonstrated these to me, explaining the concept of the fresh, ‘pick your own’ fillings. They had four kinds and colors of giant ‘bombshells’ there.
The only one I don’t know the name of and don’t have it in any of my video of the creative showcase nor in any of my photos at the event.
These hollowed out bath bombs are twice the size of the regular sized Lush bath bomb.
The fillings coincided with each of the four bombshells; blue=Floral, yellow and orange=fruit, aqua green=seaweed, and like I said I don’t know what the pink ones are. The pink one is the only one that I didn’t fill with anything.
These fragile beauties traveled 2,500 miles from England to the United States, in my carry on bag. My husband wrapped them so wonderfully that all but one survived perfectly intact, and even survived a groping by the customs agents at the airport because they were searching them for drugs or explosives. I’m not even kidding.
It was explained to me that the fruits, flowers, plant material, etc were all grown organically by Lush partners for this purpose. Certainly practicing fair trade and cruelty free products in cooperating with farmers around the world.
My favorite is the blue floral bombshell. Like the fruit bombshell, the blue floral one has two shades, in this case blue shades. And treble one has a small sprinkling of glitter.
Thus far I’ve only bathed and demoed one, the fruit bombshell. I’ll post my photos and demo video of each of the the bombshells as I use them. I will keep updating this page as I use each of the other three.
5 out of 5 rating.
Hulder is a scandinavian mythological creature. Its akin to a siren or a mermaid. It’s part animal part human.
check out my tub demo below of this glittery gorgeous bomb.
This is an exclusive bath bomb shown at the Lush uk Creative Showcase event in England September 23 & 24.
I took some video footage of hulder at the Lush showcase for you. I also recorded a tub demo video for you, And i also took photos of mine in the tub.
Lush also sold iron on patches of the exclusive bombs at the showcase event.
We were able to buy one only once per day and only for one hour when the magic bus opened. But first-One had to see the secret count down signs that were placed throughout the event to let us know when and where. It was a fun game.
Eventually these six exclusive bath bombs will only be sold in Lush Japan’s first all ‘naked’ Lush store, which is slated to open in 2019.
Hulder is my favorite of the six bombs bevause of the way it looks and the way it smells.
The scent is very different, in a good way. It smells floral and earthy with a big of greenery. Absolutely gorgeous. It smells both pretty and mysterious.
I didnt want to get out of the tub.
The bomb shows green and purple as it fizzes. Green and purple are my favorite color combination. My hair is dyed green and purple.
Im so so grateful that Jack Constantine gave me a random act of kindness.
On Instagram some lushies who like to do makeup looks have been creating makeup looks to match lush halloween products. So, since my daughter loves makeup, i had my daughter do a look for Hulder. 🙂
See my tub demo i recorded at the end of this review.
Here’s a pic i took of the tray full of Kitsune bath bombs for you.
Here’s a video below that i recorded of the tray of them at the Lush Creative Showcase in England.
Here’s a picture of mine.
see my tub demo i recorded for you below.
i like the theme of this Kitsume bath bomb. Kitsume means Fox in Japanese. I like what Kitsume signifies, and its cute, looking like a cross between a cat, a shell and a fox.
In some cultures in japan it is a fox spirit which has magical powers.
It has a very citrusy scent. not sweet in any way. it reminds me of the Lush cheer up buttercup bath bomb scent.
It makes the water a lovely peach color. And there is also a gold sparkle. not too much sparkle, it’s minimal.
This bomb fizzes very fast and furious. really fresh!
It doesn’t have skin moisturizing properties in it.
All in all i love this bomb. i would buy another one or two.
Mark Constantine Creator of Lush Incorporated from Lush invited me to England on a trip to see the Creative Showcase!
I was treated like a queen. I’m pinching myself because it seems like a dream.
I’ve recorded the below video Showcase for you
I’ll add other info, pics and videos of the products as I do every year.
I’ll be attending with my husband and ive spoken to all the other Bloggers who will be attending also. I dont know which is more exciting; being in another country, seeing my fellow Bloggers who i speak to everyday but have never been in the same room with, or being at the Lush Creative Showcase.
Lush will have all the Halloween and Christmas 2018 products as well as more exclusive products.
ill be filming (some live), vlogging, blogging my trip, from the airport to the last day. ill be buying every one of the products, and i will take photos and record tub videos of each of the items, and add them here to this blog while i’m there.
Where do I start? I know, how about YOG NOG bubble bar?!?!?!?!
Heavenly, slightly buttery sweet, slightly dusted with Christmas spices.
I LIKE buttery.
*Cue fainting*
I love a spicy Christmas, a pink Christmas, a citrussy Christnas, or even a sweet Christmas. But Give me a Plum Christmas…or a Buttery Christmas ANY day.
Also, anything having the word ‘plum’ is already on my list to buy. I never NOT love anything Lush makes with plum in its name.
Maybe buttery plums.
Anyway, another item that’s got my eye is ‘Naughty Elf’. I’m hoping naughty elf has the Lush jilted elf jelly scent. It’s an odd, peppery little scent but I miss smelling it in the form of the Elf on a Shelf fun bar and the Jilted Elf jelly.
It looks like Candy Mountain bubble bar is coming back but apart from that there is a Shit load of NEW, or at least seemingly new products. I count 25. How about you? As LushLeaks states there may be more products than the ones listed, who knows.
Damnit, I want three to five of every bath bomb and bubble bar already! WHY do you DO this to me Lush!
I’m trying to get a sense on the theme this holiday… Its not ‘Space-y’ as last year’s theme. It’s not a particularly fruity theme at first glance, though the soaps have distinctly fruity qualities to their names certainly.
But I’m too distracted to think anymore about that because of the God Damn abundance of LIQUID shower gel goodness!!! Ahhhhhh!!! A Liquid Twilight/Sleepy shower CREME?! *Lip quivers* BUT…apparently we may also get Cinders shower gel! I love that spicy orange scent. While Cinders isn’t as spicy as Lush ‘Hot Toddy’ or ‘Glogg’, it is spicier than the usual orange scents, because of the addition of cinnamon. At least it used to have cinnamon. Lush has been changing their shower gel formulations so who knows.
It’s almost too good to be true.
It really does seem like they listened to all of us!
Additionally, I noticed a bomb called Puddy Holly. There WAS a Puddy Holly bath *bomb*, so I’m wondering if the bubble bar will be anything like it. It had a Snowcake-like scent with a little extra somethin somethin.
Kind of tired of the bubble spinners to be honest BUT…a Snowflake. I bet it’s absolutely gorgeous, all icing looking with sparkle.
Also, my Spidey senses tells me that many (not all) of these lovely, Yummy sounding soaps will all have new scents. Im wondering if Satsuma soap will be anything like their Satsuma bath bomb, which I LOVED.
And am I the only one who senses something else plum rain scented?
Dying to know what the two ‘gift bath bombs’ will be. I’m imagining actual bombs with some kind of gift shape?
Lastly, I always love the Lush bath melts and oils a LOT as some of you know so I can’t wait to try plum pudding bath melt.
5 out of 5 rating. See my Tub Demo video of it that I recorded for you below
This is a Lush Cosmetics bath bomb made exclusively for the New Lush Japan Naked ship opening at the beginning of the new year.
Jack Constantine was kind enough to give me one of each of the six exclusive bath bombs. However i had already bought two when i was at the showcase. So i have one left for a Giveaway!
Here’s a Bathtub Demo of it that I recorded for you
Royalty bath bomb is made with jasmine and vanilla. the lush person at the Creative Showcase told me there was also sandalwood in it.
A Gold Crown. What’s not to like?
The scent of Royalty reminds me of The Lush ‘Vanillary’ scent except this adds sandalwood.
See my tub demo of Royalty that i recorded below.
I don’t know if they add condoning things in this bath bomb but it definitely seems to be more conditioning than most lush bath bombs. The water almost becomes milky.
There is a beautiful gold shimmer in the water. Not too much though.
5 out of 5 rating. i would give it a 6 if i could.
This is an exclusive bath bomb given to me by Jack Constantine, main inventor for Lush Uk.
Harajuku is an area in Japan, in a district of Tokyo. Many people ferl Harajuku is the epitome for what is popular right now with youth in Japan. Bright colors and fantasy fashion, shops, themed restaurants, cosplay clubs, etc.
The colors of the bath bomb are seen a lot in the Harajuku clothing and streetstyle.
Lush made this bath bomb with an absolutely ADDICTIVE scent of bubblegum. its a bit fruitier spiceier than regular bubblegum.
Here is a video tub demo i recorded of Harajuku.
the bomb fizzes for quite a long while. i enjoyed rubbing the pink bubblegum scented foam on my arms and legs.
the smell was so good i did NOT want to get out.
The final results are a lovely peach colored water with silver sparkle.
5 out of 5. Made with the Lush “Zen” soap scent. I describe the scent in my “Lush Goddess” perfume video below.
I bought exclusive Lush iron on patches of ‘Goddess’ at the 2018 Lush Creative Showcase for £3.00
Made with the Lush ‘Zen’ soap scent. I describe the scent more in my video and review below.
This bath bomb was originally created by Jack Constantine for Ariana Grande after he saw her video for her song ‘God is a Woman’.
⭐️In my video demo of mine in the tub below i also recorded a video of the giant one that was on display at the Creative Showcase event. I got real close so you can see the foam spewing out!⭐️
When creating this bath bomb Jack Constantine mimicked the gorgeous muted colors of blue, lilac, gray, silver, green in Arianna’s video within the Goddess bath bomb.
Also striking is the ethereal nature from silver and lavender shimmer powder.
Its scent is a combination of earthy, green and floral. It smells like it looks if that makes sense. I think Jack did an excellent job of creating the feel and vibe of Ariana’s video into this bath bomb’s look and scent.
initially this was going to be given to folks who bought tickets to attend the 2028 Lush Creative Showcase in Manchester England.
On the second day they began selling these along with the other exclusive items in the holiday products area. so that was nice that anyone attending the event eventually had a chance to purchase one.
naturally i purchased as many as i could fit in my bag so i could bring back for my friends and fellow bloggers who didnt get one.
Here is a video of when i got my order of these goddess bath bombs as well as the soap, etc.
5 out of 5 rating See my Tub Demo Video at the bottom of this page.
Exclusive to the new Lush Japan Harajuku shop, this and five other exclusive bath bombs were given to me by Jack Constantine at the Creative Showcase.
Black Rose was made with the Lush Rose Jam scent.
This is the original Black Rose photos below. The bath bomb is black with irridescent red metallic coco butter tips, and has gunmetal grey silver glitter.
Someone got the iron patch of Black Rose below for me! 🥺😲😍👏🏼❤️
This made in the Lush Rose Jam scent, which is popular sweet candyish rose scent.
Lush has made many things in this scent. Here’s a scent family photo i took below.
This one is a spinner, it moves back and forth in the water while spewing a red purple foam all around.
Here’s a link to my Original Black Rose from Lush Harajuku store. look at that end water with black and silver sparkles!
