š Heres a video i created for youdescribing three of Lush 2023 fragrances which are limited editions.
Category Archives: Body Sprays
Jilted Elf body spray
3.5 out of 5 rating. See my video below where i (try) to describe it.

The scent of the jelly used to have honey, vodka and sweet Fig in it. But those arenāt in the ingredient list for the body spray.

Itās a challenging scent for me to to describe. Itās different than anything lush has made, except for the jelly. Quirky. Itās much better when it dries down. When itās wet itās more difficult for me to smell the notes. Itās got cinnamon, grapefruit, ginger and osmanthus.
Jilted Elf body spray becomes sweeter and more resinous once it dries down. Itās got light medium staying power, and not much throw.

This is such a very different scent. I love the Jilted Elf shower jelly. It’s like a cacophony of notes but somehow they work together!figs, ginger, cinnamon, grapefruit, vodka and honey. it’s both fruity and spicy. i’ll be buying the christmas body spray.
“Revel in this playful blend of sharp grapefruit to perk you up, and spicy cinnamon to get the blood pumping. Don’t leave this one behind this Christmas…”
Someone in my youtube comments described the scent well: JalapeƱo Jelly Bellies

Mama Mia body spray

This is my favorite of the five exclusive body sprays that the Lush community voted for amongst the ten scents that Lush gave us to choose from. Naturally i voted for this one. The Mama Mia body scrub is one of my all time favorite smelling products. The first time i sniffed that vanilla and pink grapefruit scent i was in love.I love all five of the scents that won, but Mama Mia is definitely my favorite.

Itās such a Yummy scent.
When the body spray is first sprayed on it smells like something you would eat for dessert. It smells like strawberry cake with orange icing. The scent stays true while itās drying.

In 15 minutes itās fairly dried down, and while the scent has faded somewhat the yummy notes still smell the same as when i first sprayed it on.
I am so glad Lush made this into a body spray. I would rate this a 5 out of 5.
If you like vanilla or pink grapefruit youāll probably love this.
hereās my video where i describe the scents of all five and read the ingredients etc
Lush Winter Garden body spray

Winter garden body spray is one of five exclusive new December 2020 body sprays out of nine that we voted on via the Lush Labs site. Winter Garden scent is from the Christmas 2020 bath bomb of the same name. Lush hasnāt made this scent before in a bath bomb, body spray nor any product.

Itās always exciting when Lush creates a new product with a new scent that has a really great scent. Winter Garden bath bomb is this kind of product, so itās no wonder we voted for this to be made into a body spray.

Winter Garden is a floral scent with the primary note of ylang ylang. It smells pretty. Itās a somewhat more complex floral scent to my nose than some other Lush florals. Winter florals are represented here, on top of the bath bomb are yellow, pink and blue flower petals. They look so small and delicate and perfect, like fairies placed them there.

I sprayed a good single spray on each fore arm. Right off the bat the scent of different kinds of flowers came alive on my skin. It made me go āoooh!ā. You have to love the scent of flowers to like this body spray, so if youāre not a florals person you may want to smell this in store if you can first. there is no citrus, fruity notes in this fragrance. Nothing that smells sweet nor anything bakery like. itās not earthy smelling at all, nor are there any green or woody notes that i can pick out. Just a beautiful layering of florals. Itās smells like a winter wedding bouquet.

While i do like citrus scent, and all scents actually, i am a florals person by nature. Some of my most favorite Lush perfumes and Lush bath products have floral scents. Lush doesnāt make them too much anymore like they used to in the early 2000ās.
Thatās why this body spray fragrance is so special to me.
Itās dried down on my arm now and itās still quiet strong. It still maintains the complexity of the fragrance. it gets a wee bit more powdery as it dries, which is nice actually, itās not so alcohol-y as it was when wet.

I will say that the scent is very ylang ylang forward. So if you donāt like ylang ylang..

I always have my husband smell it too and tell me what it smells like to him. My husband said he couldnāt quite tell but that it was nice. i said āitās floralā. I knew he had bad experiences with florals. He tells me of when he was young and his school teacher used to come to his desk wearing a floral perfume that was so obnoxious it made him sick. When i asked him tonightās s this perfume like your teachers floral perfume?ā He said ānot at allā. I take that as a good sign. š
I would recommend this. And i would rate it a 4 out of 5 rating.
Hereās a video that i created where i review, describe, rate each of the five new body sprays including Winter Garden.
Sparkly Pumpkin

These new body sprays come to Lush USA December 17 2020.
I demo and review this in my video below.
Sparkly Pumpkin is one of five body sprays that won the voting process from ten fragrances that we voted on. I didnāt vote for this one š That said, i do like the bubble bar that itās named after. I just wanted to vote for the others more is all.

The bubble bar that this fragrance is made from smells more like fruit punch than the body spray. To me the Sparkly Pumpkin body spray seems fruity but with a slight floral/flowery, spicy note. Itās nice, just not as fruit punch-like as the Sparkly pumpkin bubble bar and the Mr. Punch soap.

lush description of the bubble bar:
At the end of a long day, pop this Sparkly Pumpkin into the bath. As you crumble its golden shimmeryness under running water, youāll feel instantly re-energized. An uplifting blend of juniperberry, grapefruit and lime oils will fill the room with an enticing, cocktail-like punch. And as you sink deep under the glittering gold water, you wonāt be able to keep from smiling ā probably because this little pumpkin is made to make every day bright.

Unlike some perfumes or body sprays sparkly pumpkinās fragrance stays pretty much the same when it dries down as when itās first sprayed. Itās got a decent amount of throw also., even after having dried a bit.

I like this Sparkly pumpkin body spray. I would rate this a 4 out of 5. It smells more like a grown up version of fruit punch š
Hereās a video i made reviewing, demoing and describing each of the five exclusive body sprays, including sparkly pumpkin.
Space Girl body spray

Space Girl body spray was one of ten favorite Lush product fragrances that Lush had us vote from during their LushLabs voting. Space Girl was one of the five winning product fragrances with the most votes.

Iāve always loved the Space Girl bath bomb when it was sold in stores and i was so bummed when Lush discontinued it. It was made with Black currant, Grapefruit, and bergamot. And it was a pale lilac color with silver glitter mixed in and red glitter dust on top to simulate the planet saturn and its red dust rings. Once inside the water it would release a red glitter which would look like a comet on the bottom of the tub. SO cool.

The space girl fragrance is a fruity scent. Itās citrussy and berryish. Citrussy because of the grapefruit and bergamot, and berryish because of the black currant. Black currant is the main ingredient in āThe Comforterā just for reference.

When i first spray the body spray on my arms itās of course very strongly scented and alcohol-y. Also, when itās wet i find that acrid note that some people find off putting in black currant. But once the body spray starts the dry down process on my skin-that acrid note disappears and just the fruity goodness remains.

The almond oil that Lush added to the body spray is nice. It adds a smooth and slightly sweet note to the fruity mix of citrus and berryliciousness.
As far as staying power this is better than most at staying true to itās fragrance for any length of time once it dries down on the skin.

Thereās a somewhat bitter note in between the fruity goodness. So it keeps the fragrance from being too sweet. The resulting scent reminds me of raspberry candy of some sort.
Itās not as sweet and fruity as Roller/Yummy Mummy for instance, but itās more fruity and sweet than Sparkly Pumpkin.

I would recommend this if you like fruity scents that are different citrus/berry blends.
The scent lasts longer on the skin than Ectoplasm body spray, and about the same as the three others.
These are other Lush products with the same scent
Goth Fairy Sparkle massage bar

And a new Lush Harajuku special edition bubble bar for 2020 sold on the Lush UK and the Lush USA web sites.

I would rate this a 4 out of 5 rating.

Coco Loco Body Spray
3 out of 5 rating
See my 3 minute description, demo & review video below.
Coco Loca is in the same scent family as Lush Big Calm shower jelly, Lush Big Calm body lotion, Big Calm solid perfume, Lush Yellow Submarine bath bomb, and Coco Loco solid shower oil.
Its made with orange oil, coriander, and lemon grass oil. The scent is a tropical pineapple and coconut smell.
When i first sprayed this on my arm once i did not smell anything remotely coconutty nor pineappleish. I was about to give this body spray a 2 out of 5 rating, meaning i wouldnt recommended…when i tried it again on my other arm, tbis time spraying two sprays instead of one and i waited until it wad tptally dry which was 15 minutes later. i sniffed my arm and finally! I was able to smell that tropical scent i remember so well and enjoy in the Big Calm jelly!
So tge key to this particular body spray is to wait until its totally dry before you make a decision.
That said, its not as strong of a scent as some of the other body sprays ive reviewed.
But its slightly swret and smells like a pina colada. So.i raisedy initial rating of this body spray to a 3 out of 5 rating. Meaning i would recommend it, but there are many othrt body sprays that i would choose over Coco Loco.

drink.
āNeed a mini vacation? Mist on a little Coco Loco for a fresh breeze of palm trees, sandy beaches and total relaxation. Brazilian orange, coriander and lemongrass oils give lightness to the creamy coconut base of this perfume, evoking memories of your perfect tropical getaway. This spritzer is just as deliciously scented as the shower oil of the same name, so layer on the scent after the shower to make the vacation vibes last a little longer.ā Lush
Yoga Bomb Body Spray
4 out of 5 rating
See my 4 minute demo, description & review video below.
I remember the first time i smelled a brand new Yoga Bomb when they first came out in Lush Uk. Oh my. It smelled both fruity and woody and floral. I was mesmerized. And of course the rainbow of color it produced hooked me even further. So i was very excited when i learned that Lush Uk were making a body spray fragrance of Yoga Bomb.
I hoped it would smell just like the bomb.
I am not disappointed. Not only does it smell like the bomb, it smells even stronger.
Its all at once spicy, floral and fruity. Its made with frankincense, sandalwood, and ho wood. A perfect word for this fragrance is meditative. Yes Meditative.
Unlike some lush body spray fragrances It smells the same wet as it does dry so there are no surprises with yoga bomb spray. It lasts long on my skin and my husband loves how i smell.
Im very glad i purchased this. Its on of my favorites in the lush body spray category.
“Inhale calm, exhale worries. This rich, grounding fragrance will have you feeling at peace in no time. A balancing blend of sandalwood, ho wood and olibanum oils offer an earthy, cleansing vibe, while its sunshiney cassie absolute aroma awakens your senses. This is the perfect spray to shake life back into your gym gear.”

Roller body spray
5 out of 5 rating
See my 3 minute drmo and review video below
Roller bath bomb is my favorite Lush bomb for looks and scent. I love everything in this scent family. I love the caramelly strawberry notes of this scent. Its very sweet and very strong when first sprayed. So keep in mind if you dont like sweet scents you might not enjoy roller spray.
As i show in the video i sprayed 1 1/2 sprays and as soon as it dries down it lessens in strength but not as much asany body sprays do. Roller stays pretty true to how it smells in the bottle. It smells the ssme on my skin. I only had to spray this 2-3 times during the day for it to last all day so its fairly strong comparatively speaking.
Scent Description: Within this delectable strawberry and cream scent swims a harmonious mingling of geranium, fresh Brazilian orange and sweet tonka absolute.
Youāll love this if you like:
– Bold geranium florals.
– Magic Mushroom bubble bar or Yummy Mummy shower gel.
– Hitting the strawberry fields for some wholesome berry picking.
