Launching in US & Canada on the Lush app on April 9th and online from April 11th.
See you then, ogre-achievers! #LushXShrek
Bought these today. I didnt buy the body spray. It’s Expensive. But since the shower gel is the same scent as the body spray ill see how i like the shower gel. Then If im in love with the shower gel then maybe ill buy the body spray.
Here’s my unboxing video. 😊
Im recording an unboxing video today with my opinions on these.
Fiona shower gel
I love the shower gel. Its my favorite item in the Shrek products group.
My Fiona shower gel
It has a cool color effect of being yellow and green, which you vsnt really see in the Lush pictures.
I tried to get a pic of it that shows the color shift.
The sonic death monkey from the April 2024 sub box wasn’t as thin as i’ve had sometimes. it wasn’t thick, it was on the thing side but not very watery like in past batches. It smells nice. sweet orange and coffee.
As you can see above i’ve never had popcorn lipscrub. The scent not what i expected. it’s good, but there is nothing in here that remotely smells like popcorn. 😊
It smells like sweet pineapple and coconut. Thats what my husband and daughter said when i asked them to tell me what they smell. They told me it smells tropical fruit and then i asked ‘does it smell like popcorn?’ and they both said ‘no, not at all.’
So its a bleepin mystery. 😄 Its good. Its just not popcorn-y.
The French Kiss is the same nice fragrance as i remember it, though not as strong. I wish it were stronger. As far as the looks….
Ive had maybe 10 French Kiss bubble bars in the last twenty years and lush has had 3 different designs of this bubble bar. 3 different looks. All of them prettier or more cool looking than the original. If you go to my French Kiss page from the link above you can see the different looks. Well the French Kiss in the April sub box is not the prettiest one ive had lol. Theres hardly any purple. Its 90% white. And the shape is… interesting. 😄 And the sprig of lavender fell out becaude the only thing left there was the hole where it used to be.
Birth of Venus. Its pretty good. The smell is not weak which is great. The consistency is right. The scent is just an ever so tiny bit different. One or two of the notes of chamomile, myrrh, rose, lavender was less thsn i remember it being. This one in the sub box had a stronger rose note. I mean y’all know i like rose. But it was never this strong in the birth of venus. That said. I enjoy using this one from tbe sub box. Its not so different thst it smells bad. Its ctually pretty darn good. Just more rosebthan the original.
This seems like a forest theme. I could be wrong. Not sure how Nevermind the Ballistics enters into this theme. 😊
Birch soap was only gotten by people who attended the 2018 Lush ‘Creative Showcase’ event.
Its exclusive.
Green Man was a regular year long item and hasnt been made since 1999 when it was discontinued. Ive never used it.
It’s rare.
Furze. Lush originally made a bath oil and a perfume called Furze around 2014. The bath oil was only available at the Oxford Street superstore for about a year. I think after that it was available at certain Lush stores in England. Coconut. Limited Edition. The perfume was available everywhere and was discontinued around 2015/2016 i believe.
Discontinued Regular year round store item though I dont believe Lush ever made a solid perfume of this.
Guardian of the Forest scrub has never been made. Only the bath bomb, which was available at all stores, and the shower gel, which was only made one time for one day and only on line.
Scrub=Rare Exclusive
Nevermind the Ballistics. This was a regular year round store item bomb…i think. It may have been a limited edition holiday item. I cant remember, which doesnt happen very often. If i remember ill update. I LOVED this bath bomb.
Regular year round store item or limited edition. Not rare.
I have three videos below of the 100 new bubble bars.
I receieved an email from the lLush Uk Kitchen announcing the new 2nd wave batch of Harajuku bubble bars, and Free Shipping through the email link. So i bought them.
Like ive been doing on the first batch of Harajuku bubble bars-i will record a haul.video and go through them all for you and then i will create a tub demo video & review each of these for you on my youtube/instagram and here on its own page on my blog.
Here is a haul video i recorded of my first wave batch bubble barvorder from Lush USA. Ill place my second order for the other half of the bunch when lush Uk online opens back up in Mid April.
There are 105 New Lush bubble bars at the Lush Harajuku Japan concept store.
Lush will have a smaller subset of these on their website starting in March for us to purchase. Lush did the same with the Harajuku bath bombs for #wethebathers
A handful of these bubble bars have been made in previous years as holiday or other limited edition bars, but most of the 105 are new never made before bars.
I understand that the bubble bars can all be used three times or so.
Feeling a bit out of tune lately? Get yourself back in key with notes of spearmint oil and the percussion of popping candy playing in unison beneath a crescendo of energising bubbles.
You’ll love this if you like:
– Magic Crystals shower scrub or Dirty Springwash naked shower gel. – Leaving the bath feeling fresh and invigorated.
– The satisfying crackle of popping candy.
Benefits:
– Spearmint oil composes refreshing and cleansing bubbles for the skin and mind.
– Fair Trade Organic Cocoa Butter adds a delightful chorus of skin-softening, conditioning and moisturising to this magical bubble stick.
How to use: Place your bubble stick on the bottom of the bath as you run the water until you’ve got a major amount of foamy bubbles. When you’ve had your fill, leave the rest to dry so you can use it again and again.
How to store: Store somewhere cool and dry until the big performance!
5 out of 5 rating. See my 2 minute recorded bath demo of it below.
This beautiful bath bomb is one of five butterflies that Lush has made for the grand opening of tge Lush Liverpool Biggest store in the world, and for the opening of the New Lush concept store in Harajuku Japan.
Shijimi is to promote sleep and relaxation, being made with lavender and chamomile.
It smells like the Lush ‘Ickle Baby Bot’ bomb.
Shijimi has layered blue and black colors and light glitter here and there in just the black part.
This is a slow, foamy type of fizzer.
While its not my favorite of the five butterfly bombs it is the best one for sleepy time.
I would suggest this bomb, especially if you like lavender.
here is a 2 minute tub demo of Shijimi Butterfly in my tub.
Not to be confused with an orange Lush shower jelly called ‘deep sleep‘ also.
5 out of 5 rating. See my 2 minute bath demo video below
A subtley sweet lavender and chamomile scent. An Herbal but slightly sweet scent.
Its great to promote relaxation and sleep.
I asked how to use it and was told that it goes in wrapped because when the bath bomb dissolves lots of lavender and chamomile flowers are left in the bag so it acts as a tea bag for soaking in the tub.
It’s makes the water a gorgeous, jewel-like purple color. No glitter.
My skin feels soft but not overly moisturized.
Deep Sleep makes for Very luxurious feeling.
I soaked for a long time in this awesome bath. I love this bath bomb.
I love how dramatic it looks while being relaxing at the same time.
I would recommend buying one. In fact i would recommend buying two if budget will allow.
Oi, darling, varda a new smellie? This intriguing, sophisticatedly sweet bananary perfume is sure to take your fancy. Unique, chic and unforgettable – it’s one to wear.
Originally a Be Never Too Busy To Be Beautiful perfume, released under a different name ‘Ladyboy’ in 2004.
This fragrance used to be called ‘Ladyboy’ when Lush was called ‘B Never Too Busy to be Beautiful ‘. I took a picture of that bottle. It is made with oak moss, seaweed, violet, and some note that is banana-ish.
Lush has made four violet forward perfumes.
Tuca Tuca, Kerbside Violet, Ladyboy/Fantabulosa, and V.
Fantabulosa does have an undernote of mossiness because of the oak moss and seaweed oils in it.
I would describe this scent as an earthy, mossy, fruity floral, with primary violet note, and it’s a sweet violet, but not as sweet as Lush other violet perfume Tuca Tuca.
The yellow solid bubble bar in the shape of a perfume bottle is also called ‘Fantabulosa’, and has the same scent as the Fantabulosa perfume and the Lush Ladyboy perfume. Notice the both have a banana on them.
This scent was originally made for men and women. one of Lush first unisex scents. It was wildly popular. lush made a soap, shower gel, etc of this scent.
Fabulosa is a fairly long lasting fragrance as well, staying on my skin a good amount of time before reapplication was necessary.
If you like unusual scents that are sweet, or even if you love violet, you’ll enjoy Fantabulosa.
Here’s a video i made describing the scent in depth.
Lush’s New “biggest store in the world”, Lush Liverpool store released 300 new Lush products, and Lush new concept store in Harajuku Japan have released 89 bath bombs.
Lush USA are releasing 54 of 89 new bath bombs online on March 29, 2019.
Ive used 25 of them because Lush International (Uk) had them at the annual 2018 Lush Creative Showcase where i bought them, so i can add my reviews of those here this week to help you decide.
I asked Lush President/owner/inventor Mark Constantine about it since so many people are asking me about it and i wasnt aware of it.
Mark stated ‘We are celebrating the thirtieth Birthday of Mo’s invention. 1989 was the year so we will be selling 89 bath bombs.”
Each shop manager gets to chose which ones they stock.
While Mark says he assumes all will be available on the US website, im understanding from some Lushies who received bath bombs in a press package that there will be 54 bombs, not the whole 89.
Color me surprised that Lush USA are doing something like this for customers.
I’ll have to take out a loan- but ill be getting all the 25 bombs that I haven’t tried yet.
Im trying to find out how long they will be online. Ill put that info here when i get it.
Ill look all over social media to gather all the bath bombs names and add them here in alphabetical order. Then of course ill add my demos and reviews when they go on sale, i buy them and they deliver them to my house.
Keep watching here as i update continually over the next week or more.
Bigger than the Oxford Street store Lush’ New biggest store was opened recently in Liverpool England!
The shop spans three floors including a spa and is bursting with new initiatives such as an in-store florist, a hair lab offering trims and treatments, a perfume library selling exclusive fragrances and books on perfumery, and even a children’s party area where kids can play with and make products.
Its a store and a spa! It even has a Hair Spa section! Its even larger than the previous largest store in Oxford Street London.
300 products are being sold at this store for its grand opening.
here is a 12 minute video i recorded of 30 of the 89 new bath bombs.
Im going to gather as much info on the store and new products that i can and write about them down here over the next few days.
Ive scoured various social media sites and gathered this info duting the course of some days and alphabetized it. Please give me credit if you use this list as ive worked hard on it.
Im not done listing products of course, ill keep adding as i get them.
Please know-my husband and my daughter seperately did NOT like this jelly 🙂
As i said, and showed, in my haul video the consistency of this is perfect. Its firm and solid, not broken nor mushy. And Its gold! Straight away i can smell the strong scent of pears! It’s a stronger pear scent than in the soap even!
I can smell each of the ingredients; pear puree, cardamom, orange and just a smidge of sandalwood. Mostly i smell pear. My husband and daughter interpret this real pear smell to be similar to a paint smell. No matter how hard i try all i smell is pear. This wild swing in scent descriptions is similar to the mystery of the Great pyramids. Most of the time i can get why some things smell different to people. All I smell a vat full of juicy, sweet pears.
The color is golden all the way through. It leaves NO gold color whatsoever anywhere on your skin.
I literally like this jelly scent more than the golden pear soap, bomb, or body spray. I didn’t expect to like this so much to be honest.
As far as use i would use the bath bomb before i would reach for the jelly. But that said- im loving using this jelly.
Just a small note: golden pear jelly is not as creamy/conditioning as the Yummy mummy jelly.
I should be getting them in a week or so. At that time i will record a video of what is in my order. And then ill commemce to using/reviewing each of the five conditioners for you 🙂
