😩 The last two boxes have had something wrong with them and so i was really looking forward to the berry box. However, I’m so disappointed with this box because things are wrong. I heard that a lot of people had products in this box that had gone bad. Well, my Very Berry is WAY off. It’s gray. and on the top has some brown and gray liquid and it smells like fish 🤢 There’s nothing berryish about this.
Also, my raspberry gummy smells like it’s off too. it’s supposed to smell like raspberry milkshake soap but NOPE it smells nasty. 🤮
My comforter bomb has no scent.
Just like the turtle scrub from last box My strawberry scrub fell apart in the box and when i tried to pick up what was left of it-it just disintegrated in my hand. It got all over my soap and got all ground up in the soap, so the irony is that i’ll have to wash my soap. 😂
The bubble bar is good 👍🏼 it smells so good. 🍓
The soap smells good too just like i remember it smelling ten years ago. 🫐🍇
The lotion is good too.
The quality control the last three to six months has gone downhill. Don’t know what the problem is. I’m so mad that i can no longer buy from Lush UK. Their products have been and are always SO. MUCH. BETTER. Maybe i’ll start buying from a broker service so i can get them from the Uk. It’s more expensive with a broker service, but it may be worth it to me. Dunno yet.

That Very Berry body wash was gross. I tried it and I threw it away ( saved the tub ). I swear some of the influencers on YouTube are liars and the reason I say that is because the way they describe certain products is not how they actually are. 2026 was my first subscription to the kitchen boxes and for the most part the boxes are good but some of them have completely missed the mark. I’m not 100% sure that I will continue in 2027. LUSH is changing 10 years ago. Everything was really good described really well smelled fantastic but something’s going on and it’s changing.

I wasn’t shy about letting everyone know how i found Very Berry to be.
When people have called me an influencer over the years (they didn’t have that word when i started reviewing Lush products 24 years ago), I’ve always replied to them that i’ve never worked at reviewing for Lush, i reviewed for Lush CUSTOMERS.
If Lush gives people pr boxes and stuff for reviewing, as they seem to do with all kinds of people, then people seem to feel beholden to Lush because they get stuff. Or worse, they talk good about Lush products so that Lush WILL give them stuff.
I don’t get products from lush USA to review. I have gotten trips and other really really nice things from lush UK over the years but even so, i would never let that influence me. And Lush knows that. Otherwise, what are we doing? 🤷🏻♀️
Anyway i can’t tell you how many people i’ve seen describe lush things not as they are. I’m always like-do you KNOW how to review things or..?
I don’t watch influencers anymore. And i think they should be glad i don’t lol. 😄
Now, i will say this-Lush UK have ALWAYS had better products then lush USA. it’s like night and day. They’re fresher, more vibrant colors, stronger scent. That’s why i’ve always bought from only Lush UK for 25 years. It’s unfortunate that those of us in the USA can’t buy from lush UK anymore. Who knows maybe uk isn’t as good too? 🤷🏻♀️

I miss buying from Lush UK. The quality control is horrible here in the US. My Very Berry was just as bad as everyone else’s, and the naked shower body scrub was disintegrated. Not really impressed for my first box. Hope October’s redeems itself.
YES! Im sorry. I feel the same way hon. 😢 The last three months boxes had things wrong with it. I contacted Customer service by email and i got a message saying their customer service is so busy with issues that it’ll take longer. That was a month ago and i haven’t heard anything yet.
I bought from Lush Uk for 25 years and i think i had one or maybe two issues in that whole 25 years. They products were noticeable different and cost less even with the shipping. More colorful, more scented, fresher. because we don’t have a factory in this country. Lush USA gets there products from Canada and have to wait until it’s delivered to the USA first. When i ordered from Lush UK we got them straight from their main factory. They also have different laws and rules regarding ingredients.
I hate that we can’t ordered from there anymore since the last year. I plan on complaining about this to Mark C.
Lush gave me $15 dollars compensation when I complained about how nasty the Very Berry was. The other things were nice. I’m looking forward to October and November’s boxes. I’ve been shopping with them for 11 years now. Crust service is fabulous, but their shipping and handling leaves something to be desired.
