Sleepy bath oil tablet

5 out of 5 rating see my tub demo vid below 😊

Sleepy

I’ve used about all 12 of the Lush bath oil tablets, Bath baubles and solid bath oil non bons during the last several years, and this is one of my faves. i love the Twilight/Sleepy scent. It’s comforting, and creamy.

Sleepy ingredients

“If sleep is evading you, this combination of essential oils will help get you ready for a good night’s rest. The fragrance has been designed to help you sleep: lavender is a soothing, mind-clearing and calming fragrance, used in aromatherapy to treat insomnia and aid restful sleep, while benzoin and tonka call to mind a milky caramel malt drink.”

I haven’t seen a bath tablet in a couple of years so i was excited when i opened the March 2021 subscription box.

You can either put the whole thing in or cut it at each of the 3 lines to have enough for three baths.

For the tub demo i used 1/3 of the tablet. See my photos of it below.

I like how the tub wasn’t too slippery like some lush bath oils can be. It wasn’t oily feeling or too much. 1/3 of the tablet was just right. I would imagine using the whole thing would make the water even more purple. So pretty. It’s almost too pretty to use.

Bathos liquid bubble bath

5 out of 5

Ingredients:
Contains: violet leaf infusion, sodium lauryl ether sulphate, sea salt, lauryl betaine, violet leaf absolute, otto of rose, jasmine absolute, ylang ylang, bergamot oil, oil of cloves, sandalwood oil, cassie absolute, perfume, chlorophyllin, methyl paraben, propyl paraben.

It’s the liquid form that came before the solid purple bathos bar which Lush sold in their stores for 15 years.

Lush Times: Bathos is the bath foam for those candle-lit champagne swilling occasions when you feel like sharing the warm water with someone you’re fond of. It is a deep violet bath which smells deeply of violets with hints of soothing rose, calming jasmine, refreshing bergamot, rejuvenating sandalwood and cheering cassie, all of which are traditionally known in their native countries for their aphrodisiac qualities. Don’t say we didn’t warn you.

:D

Review: The original was called Bathos liquid bubble bath. It’s the same fragrance as the more current purple “Bathos” bubble bar but this Bathos bath foam is in liquid form and it’s green in color.
It makes pretty good bubbles but I still think the solid bubble bars make more bubbles. It left the same lovely violet leaf and clove oil scent on my skin as the hard bubble bar. That’s one thing about Bathos, it’s not a light weight in the scent department, and the bath foam is no exception. I’m glad lush re-made this for us.
