The burger bubble barSwishing the water with my arm in the dark pink water. I can see all the rose gold glitter moving around.I added the other pink ‘bun’ too. The lettuce soap is made with lettuce and the tomato soap is made with tomato water 😊The beautiful rose gold glitterWhat a gorgeous color
Heres a demo video i made for you all even though its after Valentine’s Day. I just used it tonight 😊
The sonic death monkey from the April 2024 sub box wasn’t as thin as i’ve had sometimes. it wasn’t thick, it was on the thing side but not very watery like in past batches. It smells nice. sweet orange and coffee.
As you can see above i’ve never had popcorn lipscrub. The scent not what i expected. it’s good, but there is nothing in here that remotely smells like popcorn. 😊
It smells like sweet pineapple and coconut. Thats what my husband and daughter said when i asked them to tell me what they smell. They told me it smells tropical fruit and then i asked ‘does it smell like popcorn?’ and they both said ‘no, not at all.’
So its a bleepin mystery. 😄 Its good. Its just not popcorn-y.
The French Kiss is the same nice fragrance as i remember it, though not as strong. I wish it were stronger. As far as the looks….
Ive had maybe 10 French Kiss bubble bars in the last twenty years and lush has had 3 different designs of this bubble bar. 3 different looks. All of them prettier or more cool looking than the original. If you go to my French Kiss page from the link above you can see the different looks. Well the French Kiss in the April sub box is not the prettiest one ive had lol. Theres hardly any purple. Its 90% white. And the shape is… interesting. 😄 And the sprig of lavender fell out becaude the only thing left there was the hole where it used to be.
Birth of Venus. Its pretty good. The smell is not weak which is great. The consistency is right. The scent is just an ever so tiny bit different. One or two of the notes of chamomile, myrrh, rose, lavender was less thsn i remember it being. This one in the sub box had a stronger rose note. I mean y’all know i like rose. But it was never this strong in the birth of venus. That said. I enjoy using this one from tbe sub box. Its not so different thst it smells bad. Its ctually pretty darn good. Just more rosebthan the original.
Well, i havent used a Lush shower gel that i absolutely hate in a long time.
I had initially rated this a 1 out of 5, but i decided to give it a break because of the bright yellow color, which we dont see that often in a Lush shower gel. Thus i raised it to a 2 out if 5. Just a reminder that anything below a 3 means i wouldnt recommend.
So yeah, im sorry to anyone who loved this shower gel. I do not like this scent. yuk yuk yuk. Its so incredibly Bitter that i can barely sniff it. BITTER. Theres nothing renotely fruity, nor floral in this shower gel.
I didnt even have to read the ingredients to know that there was Petitgrain in this. As far as i’m concerned if lush puts petitgrain as one of the main ingredients, they better be putting something else thats stronger smelling with it. Which brings me to a question; as some of you know i fell in love with Plum Rain the moment i first opened the lid and smelled it. I really really like Plum Rain. So WHY do i tolerate the Petitgrain thats in Plum Rain but i dont tolerate Classy Diva GlitterX shower gel?
I’m guessing its because plum rain is paired with orange and plum, instead of only grapefruit with classy diva.
I can’t even smell it even one more time much less shower with it again.
And Lush made a body spray to go with this GliiterX shower gel…No comment.
This seems like a forest theme. I could be wrong. Not sure how Nevermind the Ballistics enters into this theme. 😊
Birch soap was only gotten by people who attended the 2018 Lush ‘Creative Showcase’ event.
Its exclusive.
Green Man was a regular year long item and hasnt been made since 1999 when it was discontinued. Ive never used it.
It’s rare.
Furze. Lush originally made a bath oil and a perfume called Furze around 2014. The bath oil was only available at the Oxford Street superstore for about a year. I think after that it was available at certain Lush stores in England. Coconut. Limited Edition. The perfume was available everywhere and was discontinued around 2015/2016 i believe.
Discontinued Regular year round store item though I dont believe Lush ever made a solid perfume of this.
Guardian of the Forest scrub has never been made. Only the bath bomb, which was available at all stores, and the shower gel, which was only made one time for one day and only on line.
Scrub=Rare Exclusive
Nevermind the Ballistics. This was a regular year round store item bomb…i think. It may have been a limited edition holiday item. I cant remember, which doesnt happen very often. If i remember ill update. I LOVED this bath bomb.
Regular year round store item or limited edition. Not rare.
Made with the Lush “Zen” soap scent which is the originating Lush product in this same scent. It smells woody and kind of green. It can smell kind of incense-y but this is not a sweet scent at all. If you like ‘Earthy’ scents you’ll probably like it. If you only like sweet scents, or fruity or light pretty white florals then you might not like the scent.
Oudhess is the same scent as Goddess, which is also made with Oudh, as i had guessed. I didn’t have anymore Goddess shower gel anymore to check the ingredients, but i found the empty container of the goddess hair moisturizer. 😄 same ingredients on this Goddess hair moisturizer; oudh, jasmine, osmanthus, rose and sandalwood.
Its a remake of Goddess shower gel with a different name. Its a woody, green, and floral scent.
It looks just as pretty as the original shower gel. 😍
All of these Lush products in my photo sbove have the same ingredients and scent. Oudh, Jasmine, Rose, Osmanthus, and Sandalwood.
Different Exclusive Lush FUN bars from the Lush Oxford Street supetstoreDifferent baths ive taken through the yearsbwith a different Lush bath bomb in each bath.
Lush introduced in 2015 their Milky Bar soap with a new lovely design! I took a pic of the new one along side the original style Lush bubble bar of the same name. It has a light, floral fragrance with hints of orange oil.
This soap was made and sold way back in 1993 when Lush was called ‘Cosmetics To Go’. It was one of their best sellers.
It doesnt smell like milk to me, its more of a light floral to my nose, comforting.
soap on the left, original style bubble bar on the right
Lush has had two different designs of the Milky Bar soap throughout the years.
Theyve also made a bubble bar originally called ‘Hot Milk’, then the name change to ‘Milky Bath’, lush changed the design and renamed once again to ‘Milky Bar Bubble Bottle’.
More recently in 2022 lush made a bath bomb sold in stores and online called ‘Toby the Cow’ also with the milky bar fragrance, then a limited edition ‘Salt’ bath bomb from a collab with the show called ‘Salt’.
Lush also made a Christmas bath bomb one year called ‘Jingle BELLS’, not to be mistaken with Jingle SPELLS.
This is a limited edition bath bomb sold on the Lush US retail website and app Feb 29, and UK website.
Inspired by the movie ‘Saltburn’, and there is also a place in England called Saltburn.
So its supposed to be used by taking chunks of it off and using in the tub and then putting the rest of it someplace dry to be used the same way whenever you next take a bath.
Salt has the same ‘Milky Bar’ scent as these other Lush products below. Milky Bar soap, Hot Milk bubble bar, Milky Bath bubble bar, Toby the Cow bath bomb.
