Here’s a video i recorded for you which shows each of the five new face masks from Lush, on the lush.co.uk site
Monthly Archives: July 2017
Emperor of Ice Cream
This buttercream has a beautiful, bold, floral fragrance. The name comes from a poem. This buttercream does not snell like ice cream. It’s not meant to smell like ice cream. It’s a desert to smell like perfume. Floral perfume.
Emperor of Ice cream buttercream has lots of moisturizing butters like macadamia nut butter.
This is not sweet what so ever.
Lol, I repeat this does not smell like any kind if ice cream. Flowers. Perfume.
I think it’s a Sexy floral fragrance. It’s a very firm buttercream. Think bar soap, with some Cocoa butter give to it.

Lush Creative Showcase 2016
See my New Creative Showcase 2017 page here
Here’s a video by Candyelion that showcases Lush new holiday goodies shown at the 2016 Creative Showcase
Lush has an extravaganza event in London called “Creative Showcase’, which has multitudes of things going on. There are not only presentations from the owners and creators of lush but there were new, upcoming product sneak peaks, one-off products, and a preliminary showcase of all the Halloween and (some) Christmas products. At last year’s Creative Showcase Ttere were two bath bombs exclusive to the showcase, There were also a giant “Golden Wonder’ fountain, A giant Experimenter bath bomb display and giant Error 404 bath bombs.
Some of the things that were there last year; (not all of them are going to be sold to the public); A new dandruff shampoo, a new bath bomb that lights up with changing colors, 2 interesting twists on the Lush ‘New’ shampoo bar and ‘Dream Cream’ lotion, bath bombs, scented nail polishes, edible sex bomb flowers, chocolate mushrooms, cotton candy floss shower soap, posters, iron ons, performances, gallery rooms, perfumes, and more!
Attendees learned that the new Lush Holiday 2016 products are 100% self-preserved.
Here is a top down view of one of the areas in this massive place. Bathtubs and sinks abound, with piles of new bath bombs, and a giant bath bomb fizz display in the middle. The event fountain had an Intergalactic bath bomb, an Experimenter bath bomb, and a Golden Wonder bomb display and dissolve in the massive middle tub.
There were also bath bombs for sale there last year that, while not quite as big as these giant display bombs, they are about twice the size of a regular bomb. These were available for purchase. One was a giant Intergalactic bath bomb called ‘Nebula’, one was a Dragon’s Egg bath bomb called ‘Mother of a Dragon’. They also had large Error 404 bath bombs for purchase. I don’t know what the name of that one was however. When i get that i’ll add that here.
Listed here below are products that were exclusive to this ‘Creative Showcase’ event at Tobacco Dock on Sept 13 2016. The Lush Oxford Street store has a couple of these as well for only a day or two.
Hal soap
Nebula (it’s a giant Intergalactic bomb)
Magic bubble
Over and Over bomb (looks similar to lush “Nevermind the Ballistics’, but it’s different)
Jack Constantine demonstrated his invention of a bath bomb below called Metropolis that lights up! And the liquid light changes colors! – it’s inspired by city life and the scent is supposed to be like cocaine or was inspired by cocaine because of the drug use in cities. The black and gray on it are meant to be the dust and dirt and smoke from the city. I’ll post more pics or video here if i get any.
The black/grey on it is meant to be the dust and dirt and smoke from the city.
Yeah, it’s soap, but it looks just like cotton candy/candy floss
The Perfumes above were offered to attendees of this event.
Amelie Mae – Simon has created this perfume for his youngest daughter ‘Amelie Mae’. It has notes of delicate lavender, sweet ylang ylang and jammy rose.
Cardamom and Coffee – “Simon was offered a hot cup of cardomom coffee when he was on a trip to a refugee camp. The rich aroma warmed up his hands and heart. On returning to the lab he recreated this spicy fragrance.”
Home From Damascus
Iamesh-“Iamesh likes to experience the power of serving others by being himself”-Hal Samples
I’m Home
Rentless
Secret Garden
Sweet Grandma –Was created with orange blossom, a sweet heart, and a herby twist. Inspired by Hal Samples’ Grandmother, mother
and best friend.
What Would Love Do
These are giant bath bombs.
Here are some of the things i’m getting from there thanks to some ANGELS disguised as humans. Lovely people you are.

Green Coconut
See my demo video below 🙂
The scent of this is full on coconut. It’s Very creamy. And VERY moisturizing. And certainly less clean up than my Dark Arts jelly bomb was. Though the Dark Arts was more fun, this was more yummy, nourishing and relaxing if that makes sense. It’s not the same scent as Yellow Submarine, that’s a fruitier coconut. This is straight on coconut.
First up, don’t be shy and throw yourself into Green Coconut; a Jelly Bomb with a totally tropical scent. As coconut cream flows into the water it creates a rich jelly that refreshes the mind and leaves your skin feeling silky smooth, while cinnamon leaf oil stimulates the circulation to give you a radiant holiday glow.
Set sail to the tropical island of your dreams. Lie back on the soft sand, the warm waters lapping at your feet, the breeze scented like tropical fruits. Climb into your bath and pop in this king of coconuts. Jelly leisurely spreads across the water, softening as it goes. Condition your skin with coconut cream and bask in the warmth that a cinnamon leaf undercurrent brings. Relax and refresh yourself in your own little piece of paradise.
Secret Arts (formerly Dark Arts)
See my demo video below showing all that crazy diamond water at the end. ❤️
I might buy another one, but no more than one. It’s fun. The clean up really wasn’t as bad as I thought. I did have to use a shot of spray bleach afterwards to clean the tub but I was able to rub it off just by swiping it with hands, nothing too crazy.
The green coconut slime bomb is more nourishing and Yummy to sit in than this black one.
This has the Lush ‘Cinders’ scent.
When the muggles are getting you down and it feels like the dementors are looming, dabble in the dark arts with spicy cinnamon leaf oil and almond essential oil. Slytherin-to a hot bath and cast this spicy bomb into the water. Tendrils of black give way to love potion pink as thick, skin softening jelly spreads on the surface of the water. Soak in your personal invisibility cloak and revel in your moment of peace. Restore yourself before rising from the cinders, and be ready to take on the world once again.
Why not become a professor of Dark Arts? Sink into deep, inky black water and inhale a spellbinding Brazilian orange oil and spicy cinnamon leaf oil mist. As this mystifying Jelly Bomb fizzes it dissolves into a dark jelly which wraps around the skin, conditioning and nourishing it with mineral-rich seaweed and almond essential oil. Conjure up this enchanting soak and perplex witches and wizards with your bathtime sorcery.
I love the FEEL of the Slime in this bath bomb. It’s feels downright good when you squish it, if it wasn’t black and messy it would be even better.
I like the scent. Its not the best scent in the world but i dont hate it. Slight orange and slight cinnamon. I do Wish the scent was stronger.
It’s slippery feeling and i Love the Glitter.
As it dissolves in the tub it looks like bubbling hot tar and smoke. With PINK inside!
I love the concept. There is some clean up involved afterward. I’d buy one more, maybe, but it’s not one I would stock up on.
I would rate it a 3.5 out of 5 bath bomb.
Sodium Alginate
Cornflour
Perfume
Almond essential oil
Brazilian Orange Oil
Cinnamon Leaf Oil

Rocket Science
See my demo video below. This has a bright, lemon citrus fragrance.
What a gorgeous bath bomb. The interesting thing is that this bomb makes various dimensions of things happening. If one were to look at the water one could see layers; multi colored stars on the very bottom.
Then there is a multi-colored chunky glitter layer above the stars.
Then there’s a layer of silvery sparkes above that.
Then there is the blue, pink and purple colored foam layer from the fizzing bomb.
Gorgeous.
Here’s the 3 minute demo
The smells is nice, but nothing earth shattering. But the looks of this bomb in the water makes up for it.
I give this a 4.5 out of 5 rating.
Rumours, rumours but are they true?
There are a couple of things going around Instagram and on the Lush Facebook site. Something about Cinders shower gel and Sex Bomb shower gel. Annnnd that the Lush body sprays will be coming to U.S and Canada stores in November. I was very excited when I learned of these rumours. I’ll update when I find out more!
Wash Cloud (Karma)
These photos are from ‘lushandproud’ on Instagram. And the video is from ‘my.lush.world’ on Instagram. See the video below 🙂
I’ve been told that the karma wash cloud is ready to be sold in stores closer to xmas.
There are also Thundersnow and ice blue scented wash clouds in the making. Thundersnow bath bomb is most likely coming out for xmas. I have photos and demos of my thundersnow bomb.
The Wash cloud to be used on the same day, or very soon after purchase. I have another Wash cloud called ‘Symbiopsychotaxiplasm‘ demo & review. But it’s already deflated.
One Eskimo
See my demo video below 🙂
This cute bubble bar was made with the Lush ‘Christingle’ scent.
Lush made this to go with their new music cd of the band ‘One Eskimo’.
Only 10 or so Lush UK stores that have the music setup will acquire these bubble bars temporarily.
Those with sensitive skin should proceed with care because this contains mint and menthol.
Just to Clarify
See my 6 minute demo and review video of all five new masks below
To use, simply pinch off a piece of the mask and work to a paste between clean, dry hands. Apply to the face and let it work its magic for 5-10 minutes. Wash off with warm water or with a cloth.
A fruitful jelly with a slight scrub for those who like it just a bit rough; Just to Clarify is packed with an exotic fusion of fresh juices, like papaya, orange and grapefruit to refresh and brighten the skin. When using your hands to gently wash the mask away, you’ll start to feel the bamboo stem extract polishing the surface of your skin leaving it feeling super rejuvenated and clean.
Let’s get things cleared up.
Enzymic papaya juice brightens.
Bamboo stem exfoliates.
Grapefruit and bergamot oils lift the mood.
Fresh orange juice perks you up.
The Birth of Venus
See my demo and review video below

See my demo and review below of all five masks
To use, simply pinch off a piece of the mask and work to a paste between clean, dry hands. Apply to the face and let it work its magic for 5-10 minutes. Wash off with warm water or with a cloth.
When you look at the moon, what do you see? Some see a face, some see a dragon, others see a bunny. When you want soft and strokable skin, this bunny is the one for you. Honey is antiseptic and moisturising, rose oil helps to soothe and balance while chamomile and marigold infusion calm the skin. A dash of gentle, cosy vanilla and benzoin resioid helps you feel comforted. You’ll be a happy bunny with calm and clear skin.
FoMo

Facial jelly. This has the same rose and Neroli as Lush ‘Skin Drink’ moisturizer.
To use, simply pinch off a piece of the mask and work to a paste between clean, dry hands. Apply to the face and let it work its magic for 5-10 minutes. Wash off with warm water or with a cloth.
There will be no fear of missing out on great skin with this little beauty. Gentle calamine powder calms and soothes while rose absolute balances for enviably clear skin. A touch of bright neroli evens skin tone and will have you feeling fine in no time.

Facial jelly
This is a facial jelly in honor of co-founder Helen Ambrosen who I’ve been fortunate enough to meet and speak with. She’s brilliant and gorgeous.
I’ll be getting a couple of these in about six days. I’ll take photos and record a demo and review of it then and add those here.
Get back the skin you myth’d with enzymic and brightening fresh apple juice and toning green tea. Witch hazel plays no tricks with its antibacterial and astringent gifts. Sicilian lemon and Brazilian orange oils help to brighten the skin while neroli oil gets to work at brightening the mood. If you fancy swanning around with firmer skin give this a Troy.
To use, simply pinch off a piece of the mask and work to a paste between clean, dry hands. Apply to the face and let it work its magic for 5-10 minutes. Wash off with warm water or with a cloth.

Below is the Previous Lush Kitchen 2014-2018

Lush Ltd launched it’s on line “Lush Kitchen” mail order website in April 2014. The idea was to have a place to make small er batches of exclusive products available fresh for those of us with a taste for our favorite retro products that have been discontinued. It’s also a way to get pre-releases on new Lush Cosmetics creations, sneak-peeks, and one-off rarities and limited edition products, made one time only. They also make limited edition Lush perfumes, available only in the Lush Kitchen.
(I actually had the immense pleasure of meeting the lovely folks in this photo, when i was there a month before the Lush Kitchen opened for business.)
Here’s what Lush says: “What’s on the menu this week? Small, daily batches of exclusive products, made by hand and seasoned with behind the scenes gossip. This is an exclusive window into the world of Lush manufacturing, where the words ‘fresh’ and ‘handmade’ come to life.
Our compounders are cooking up a storm, experimenting with giant bath bombs and mixing up creative visions. Get a glimpse of limited edition recipes, and freshly dreamt up innovations.
We’re throwing open the doors, and you’re invited to take a look.
If you can’t get enough of the Lush Kitchen, we’re cooking up more posts on our other social media channels: Instagram @LushKitchen & Twitter @LushKitchen”
To purchase lush Uk kitchen products, we buy them here, the website is http://www.lush.co.uk/kitchen
Here’s an example of one daily menu of products that Lush made for Holidays, which were/are NOT Retro and which weren’t available in any stores nor on line on the lush website.
