Bearded Lady

4 out of 5 rating

Fruity and woody.

Made with the same ingredients as Lush ‘King of Skin’ body conditioner.

It has banana in it for moisturizing properties. It also has oat milk. It doesnt necessarily smell like banana though. It has sandalwood for starters, which i love, but it makes the scent of this slightly woody and nice.

I love king of skin bar so its no wonder i like the scent of this.

Its cute for Christmas.

Originally it was released in 2005/2006 and i bought one then via lush uk.

And then in 2017 the Lush Kitchen re-made it for us to buy, which is where i got this one.

ngredients: Sodium Bicarbonate, Cream of Tartar (Potassium bitartrate), Sodium Laureth Sulfate, Lauryl Betaine, Cocoa Butter (Theobroma cacao), Titanium Dioxide, Oat Milk (Avena sativa), Shea Butter (Butyrospermum parkii), Extra Virgin Coconut Oil (Cocos nucifera), Organic Jojoba Oil (Simmondsia chinensis), Almond Oil (Prunus dulcis), Fresh Organic Bananas (Musa paradisica), Fresh Organic Avocado (Persea gratissima), Sandalwood Oil (Santalum austro-caledonicum vieill and Fusanus spicatus), Tangerine Oil (Citrus reticulata), Rosewood Oil (Aniba rosaeodora), Lavender Oil (Lavandula angustifolia), Cocamide DEA, *Limonene, *Linalool, Perfume, Colour 14700, Dairy Free Chocolate Drops

I used one in a bath cocktail wuth other Lush things in my photo below.

Lush Times: Our Lady has moisturising oat milk to keep skin soft when it’s dry in autumn and winter; there are fresh avocados and bananas, and jojoba and almond oils to soften you up when you have your winter baths.

You know how every couple of years or so I totally fall for a new Lush product fragrance?

A sure sign that i’m addicted to the fragrance|product is that I will sniff the product all damn day, everyday for a couple of weeks.

Lush ‘Tree D‘ bath melt

Lush ‘Ectoplasm‘ jelly bomb

These are made with Grapefruit, Litsea Cubeba and Tangerine

I’ll hold it to my nose while i talk to my husband and kids at night, while i’m watching tv, while i’m vacuuming, i put it on my nighstand so i can smell it as i go to sleep, etc.

Icon, Psychedelic, Fever, Rose Jam, Twilight, Frozen were like that.

Currently Ectoplasm/Tree D would be such a case.

Rocket Science

See my demo video below. This has a bright, lemon citrus fragrance.

What a gorgeous bath bomb. The interesting thing is that this bomb makes various dimensions of things happening. If one were to look at the water one could see layers; multi colored stars on the very bottom.

Then there is a multi-colored chunky glitter layer above the stars.

Then there’s a layer of silvery sparkes  above that.

Then there is the blue, pink and purple colored foam layer from the fizzing bomb.

Gorgeous.

Here’s the 3 minute demo

The smells is nice, but nothing earth shattering. But the looks of this bomb in the water makes up for it.

I give this a 4.5 out of 5 rating.

Just to Clarify

See my 6 minute demo and review video of all five new masks below

To use, simply pinch off a piece of the mask and work to a paste between clean, dry hands. Apply to the face and let it work its magic for 5-10 minutes. Wash off with warm water or with a cloth.

A fruitful jelly with a slight scrub for those who like it just a bit rough; Just to Clarify is packed with an exotic fusion of fresh juices, like papaya, orange and grapefruit to refresh and brighten the skin. When using your hands to gently wash the mask away, you’ll start to feel the bamboo stem extract polishing the surface of your skin leaving it feeling super rejuvenated and clean.

Let’s get things cleared up.

Enzymic papaya juice brightens.

Bamboo stem exfoliates.

Grapefruit and bergamot oils lift the mood.

Fresh orange juice perks you up.

Bunny Moon

See my demo and review below of all five masks

To use, simply pinch off a piece of the mask and work to a paste between clean, dry hands. Apply to the face and let it work its magic for 5-10 minutes. Wash off with warm water or with a cloth.

When you look at the moon, what do you see? Some see a face, some see a dragon, others see a bunny. When you want soft and strokable skin, this bunny is the one for you. Honey is antiseptic and moisturising, rose oil helps to soothe and balance while chamomile and marigold infusion calm the skin. A dash of gentle, cosy vanilla and benzoin resioid helps you feel comforted. You’ll be a happy bunny with calm and clear skin.

£2.99

2017 Valentine’s -Only available at Lush UK.

I’ll be getting one soon. This was made with Lush Exclusive ’29 High Street’ fragrance. It smells like a Lush shop! It’s got a great amount of Fragrance in this sheet. Citrussy sweet,  and floral.

Lush description says: ‘Hold this floral fresh apple pulp wash card close and let the enzymic oil of brightening lemons and limes accompany you, naked, into the shower. How do I do it, you ask? It’s easy-peasy, lemon-squeezey! Lather up with this soapy-sheet, bursting the bubbles all over your body! Rinse off, and nothing but fruity fresh, soft skin awaits you.’

Here’s a video demo I made.

Refreshing and uplifting to a tired mind, super handy for sharing, travelling and works fantastically as sweet-scented shampoo too. Perfect for anytime, anyplace, any body! Ylang-ylang will help any tiredness or anxiety dissipate and you’ll head into your day feeling joyful and raring to go.

Star Light, Star Bright

5 out of 5 rating. See my demo video below.

One of only three or four lush products ever, that are all silver.
This has lime and ginger, so it smells bright. And the silver shimmer in the water is awesome.

Description: Catch a falling star and put it in your… bath. We have been working for a long time to make this Christmas bath melt – a shimmering bright star for an extra special bath filled with light and lustre. The shea butter fondant centre inside this bath melt is rich and moisturising, creating a soft and creamy bath. When the star melts, its silvery lustre spreads into the water creating a magical trail of starlight. Refreshing ginger and zesty lime oil inspire positivity and will also give you an extra boost. Close your eyes, make a wish, crush this melt under running water and watch as your bath turns into a turquoise, silvery pool of star light.

Snow Fairy shower gel

4 out of 5 rating

See my demo videos of the regular, bottled Lush version of Snow Faity shower gel and the Lush christmas ‘naked’ Snow Fairy shower gel below.

snowfairy

Ingredients: Water (Aqua), Sodium Laureth Sulfate, Sodium Cocoamphoacetate, Lauryl Betaine, Perfume, Sea Salt (Sodium chloride), Lactic Acid, Synthetic Musk (Ethylene Brassylate),Cocamide DEA, Titanium Dioxide, Iridescent Glitter (Polyethylene terephthalate and Acrylates copolymer), Benzyl Benzoate, Colour 18050, Methylparaben, Propylparaben.

I’m not one for Candyish Lush scents, not at all, except when it comes to Snow Fairy. I am just nuts about this gel at times, it’s scent is just something I’ve got to have once in a while. It’s scent is buttery, rich, candyish…almost raspberryish and a small hit of fruitiness. It has a shimmer of pink and fushia sparkles.

Lush 2006 Description: Candy floss pink and sweet as sugar with iridescent sparkles and a hint of wicked fruitiness….

Here are a couple of video demos and reviews i made of both versions of this Lush shower gel and you can see them up close and how they work
