This has such a wonderful fragrance. I would use the words fresh, fruity and luscious to describe it right off the bat. It’s only slightly sweet, Just right.
It’s Not fruity in a citrus way, and not quite in a berryish way, though that’s closer.
If you’ve smelled dragonfruit it does actually smell like that.
It’s almost melon-y, but even more luscious. Almost as if i mixed melon with pomegranate.
There’s dragonfruit, Mango leaf, and Fir balsam resin (green note).
There’s nothing floral or citrus in here.
It’s just a tiny bit sweet. It’s so REAL smelling.
Fresh, fruity, slightly sweet.
It’s a nice thick shower gel. The scent actually stays on my skin long after my shower, which is great. It makes pink lather.
It’s got some light red shimmer to it.
Here’s some dragonfruit growing.
Here’s what it looks like when you cut it and the fruit inside is white with tiny black seeds, which are edible.
There are three different colors of Dragon fruit.
I took a pic of the side where you can see the black dragon fruit seeds.
It’s one of those new Lush scents that you sometimes come across where you just love to inhale it and it grows on you so much that you become a little obsessed with it. 😊
Here’s my XL box i got today. I like the Wash on the Wild Side theme . It’s a play on the term Walk on the Wild Side. So it’s like a wild Jungle theme.
We’ve got Jungle animals like a Monkey and a Chameleon, and we have fruits that grow in the tropical jungle like Bananas and Coconuts. We have a Rainforest Co-Mingle wash that has the Lush ‘Jungle’ hair conditioner scent. And we have a shower jelly made in the same scent as a retro massage bar that is named after a jungle in the Amazon rain forest. 😊
I didn’t expect the Rainforest co mingle to be in the Jungle scent, but of course it makes perfect sense. 😊 fruity with Passion fruit, floral with ylang ylang, green notes of cypress, and earthy green vetivert.
Lush made a very popular massage bar (that has never been made again) in the early to mid 2000’s called Amazonian with Patchouli, neroli.
The Amazonian scent is such a different scent from literally anything Lush has ever made. It’s earthy with Patchouli, and fruity with Tangerine oil, it’s floral AND citrussy with orange blossom, and more floral with ylang ylang. It’s such a different scent that it keeps my interest. I find myself opening it and smelling it over and over. It’s a little bit weaker than the Amazonian scent that i recall but it’s the same scent. Lush replaced the neroli with tangerine. They’re cousins of the same citrus family so it is similar just not exactly the same.
Lush made this banana soap in the early to mid 2000’s before being discontinued in the early 2010’s. It’s nice. It smells just like the original Banana Moon soap. It’s more moisturizing than other lush soaps because of the mashed banana in it.
Lush made a Chameleon bath bomb that looked just like this bubble bar. The bath bomb had so many beautiful colors in the bath: pink, blue, green and purple. The grapefruit and orange scent is different and very nice and fruity. I can’t wait to use this. When i do i’ll update with pics and review
Cheeky Monkey bath bomb-New product 4 out of 5 rating
This smells like cocoa and something slightly nutty. It’s a yummy comforting smell. SO cute.
Fantabulosa used to be called ‘Ladyboy’ and Ladyboy was a scent line from Lush’s sister company ‘B Never Too Busy To Be Beautiful’. The Ladyboy shower gel is nice, it has sweet violet and an earthy green note. It’s scent is nice and strong.
King Coconut magnesium body butter- 4 out of 5 rating
The original King Coconut was a Cosmetics To Go product (Lush before they were called Lush). It was a lighter scent of coconut. I’ll see if i can find it in my Cosmetics To Go catalog, but it’s a nice nutty coconut scent. 👍🏼
Rainforest Co-Mingle body scrub- New product 3.5 out of 5 rating
Made in the Lush Jungle scent family. The original product was a hair conditioner called Jungle. A fruity, earthy, green scent that’s kind of addictive. It’s lighter in scent than original jungle scent. Its got brazil nut oil, shea butter, cedar wood oil, cypress oil, and ylang ylang oil, passion fruit juice and kiwi fruit juice, vanilla pod extract, and tagua nut powder for fine exfoliation.
