Damp Squid

I Would give this a 5 out of 5 rating because its really cute, it works well without drying my skin, it smells great and the scent lasts.

They created this before they called themselves ‘Lush’, when they were a company called Cosmetics To Go in the 90’s.

It has the scent of ylang ylang flower, patchouli, lemongrass and Ho wood. It smells like an expensive mens cologne or something. I love the scent.

Also, the scent has somestaying power after you use it which i like.. Be advised though this bomb doesnt have any color. it doesnt color the water. its a fast fizzer and dissolves quickly.

in 2023 Lush UK made an exclusive one day only shower jelly using the Damp Squid scent!

Its scent is from another product that Lush made before they called themselves Lush, when they were a company called Cosmetics To Go in the 90’s. The product was called ‘Damp Squid’ and it was a bath bomb.

I still have my old pictures of my Damp Squid bath bomb.

Smaragadine

4 out of 5 rating

Smaragadine has a unisex scent; Patchouli, Mint, lavender, and Oakmoss.

Supertramp shower gel was made by combining two lush products; lush classic ‘Tramp’ shower gel and lush ‘Smaragadine’ bubble bath.

Ingredients: Water, Rose Petal, Lavender Flower and Peppermint Leaf Infusion, Perfume, Patchouli Oil, Organic Orange Peel, Petitgrain Oil, Pimento Berry Oil, Sandalwood Oil, Ginger Oil, Chlorophyllin

Lush Times: Smaragadine was originally a Cosmetics to Go product and it was hugely popular. In Retro Lush, Smaragadine is back with a vengeance! It’s our emerald-green bubble bath with the sensual scent of patchouli, sandalwood and ginger. Pour it under running bath-water for fluffy, foamy bubbles.

Sept 1, 2015

I won a trip to Lush Headquarters in Poole, England last year. It was from Mark Constantine, Owner and creator of Lush Cosmetics to thank me for some help i gave the writer of the Lush book (Danger: Cosmetics To Go) some help i gave them for some ctg products. I had a lot of ctg products in my Lush stash.

It was a magical trip, a dream come true.  And I recorded a lot of video for you all.

I’m building this page, organizing all my cosmetics to go product photos that i’ve taken throughout the years.  I will also have scans of the Cosmetics To Go catalogs here. 🙂 I’m building a list of Cosmetics To Go products from their Catalogs, with product photos, background  and ingredients info.

I still have an array of items from Lush founders’ previous company “Cosmetics To Go” (CTG), inwhich i’ve made a video of.  This is the video that won the Lush contest and which led to a Lushie dream come true.  I’ve collected them throughout the years.

Many years ago the owners of Lush were kind of enough to send me all of his original press Cosmetic To Go catalogs, dating from 1993-1996,   still wrapped in their original sealed plastic packages.

The products they made were To Die.  If you think Lush is great you should see these!

In the meantime, enjoy this video below. 🙂

Here is my (signed by the author Mira Manga) copy of the book, available now at Lush stores near you and online at lush.co.uk or lush.com

heres a video I recorded of a vintage catalog
I made a video of this edition today, here it is..

Here are some photos i took of a few pages of my CTG catalog. I have ten catalogs and will taje photos of each page of all 10. Its going to take a while so i thought id uoad these for now. I got a follower who asked if i was going to do this, so this is in response. Enjoy. If yoi have comments go aheadandpost them here and I’ll try my best to answer them.
