Adam’s Apple mouthwash tabs

4 out of 5 rating. See my scent/taste description and demo video below.

Adam’s Apple solid mouthwash tablets are made with lime, lemon, spearmint, and cooling menthol.

I’ve received many questions on the taste and scent of this. i took the below photo to help demonstrate, and i discuss this in my video.

These mouthwash tabs taste/smell more like the product on the left, not the product on the right.

Lush description: Eve may have gotten the first bite, but Adam got to enjoy all of the flavour. Get first kiss ready with the gently refreshing flavour of these self-preserving mouthwash tabs.

Gently cleansing spearmint collides with lemon and lime for a fruity fling on the tongue, while aloe vera soothes the gums. If you prefer a zesty zing to a menthol blast, these solid tabs are just the ticket!

Strawberry Whip soap

5 out of 5 rating. See my 4 minute sink demo video below.

£6.50 per 100g (transferred to american dollars this becomes $8.28). I wonder what Lush NA price will be per 100g? 😉

I always considered the Strawberry Twin Tub/Two Timing Tart scent to be a 4 out of 5…..vs. the 5 out of 5 rating that i give the other YYY/Strawberry Santa strawberry scent. Not a big difference.

Heres my video. I cut it open.

I ordered three of these this morning. This means that ill get it in the mail in about a week or two.

One of my Instagram followers @rosesangria asked if the scent of this was the yummy yummy yummy/strawberry santa lush product scent. I answered No, its from a retro product scent called ‘Strawberry Twin Tub‘ that was from a jelly that they made in the mid 2000’s. It has a companion bubble bar called “Two Timing Tart’ (and old review from me about it).

I verified this with Lush though just incase.

But even though its slighy different the difference is not noticeable to alot of folks.

This one has Jasmine, strawberry santa and yummy yummy yummy does not.

Also, this strawberry whip does not have frankincense whereas the other does.

Ive used the 2006 strawberry twin tub jelly, and its bubble bar companion ‘Two Timing Tart’ because these products was created for one of my friends ‘Twinmum’ on the Lush Uk customer forum.

This strawberry whip soap will have a wee bit more floral/perfume-y, less fruity scent than the other strawberry scent.

I don’t like lots of Lush products that have Jasmine, because they smell gross. This is NOT like those gross jasmine products.

Because it smells nice, the smell is stronger, its more moisturizing than regular lush soaps. Its got a middle layer of cocoa butter inside. Also, its bigger than i expected. Its not a tiny soap….i give it a 5 out of 5.

Marshmallow World

4 out of 5 rating

See my 2 minute tub demo below

Lush has opened up a new store in the Harajuku area of Japan. At this new, special store Lush will sell 35-50 exclusive bath bombs. One of these exclusive Japan Harajuku store bombs is Marshmallow World.

Its made with the popular scent of a Lush hair conditioner called ‘American Cream’, which is an herbal vanilla blend.

It’s made with strawberries for their skin properties , not for the primary scent. The scent is sage-which is a bitter herb-and vanilla, and we all know what vanilla smells like. So put bitter herbs and vanilla together with a bit of lavender, which is even more of an herbally flower, and you have the American Cream scent.

So you can see that it doesn’t smell like strawberries.

I like to stress this fact because i always see disappointed people writing lush comments like ‘but it doesnt smell like strawberries like some of your other strawberry scented things’.

Whew. Now that we have that out of the way 😉 let me talk about what this bomb looks like.

Marshmallow World is such a pretty bomb on the outside, with lovely pink and having purple and yellow striations. It pooks like an unfamilair but fun planet.

It fizzes and makes a baby pink foam and turns the water a light pink color. This bomb must have somethung special in it which is softening to the skin. It feels moisturizing a bit.

What a beautiful scent. While American Cream scent isn’t my favorite, i don’t hate it either by any means. Its a calming scent to me. I think its quite a meditative scent..with a teaspoon of yumminess thrown in.

Lush has made three other bath bombs in the past years with the American Cream scent with different names. But i must say this is the prettiest version.

It doesnt make full-on bath art per se, but it is still beautiful as it fizzes in the tub.

I would by one more but its not one i would stock up on like i did with some of the other community favorites/Japan store bombs like ‘Tender is the Night’, ‘The Comforter’, ‘Melusine’, ‘Golden Pear’.

My tub demo

If youre an American Cream lover than i suggest you stock up on these limited edition beauties!

Lush description: Indulge in a sugar bath scented with American Cream – you’ll get all of the sweet-shop glee and none of the post-binge guilt. Vanilla scented with a touch of strawberry, this multi-coloured marvel is a fiesta of fizz. Marshmallow powder soothes and softens, while granulated sugar adds a sugary flourish, you’ll smell good enough to eat!

Golden Pear bath bomb

5 out of 5 star rating. see my 2 minute tub demo below.

Oh. My. Goodness.

Firstly, Golden Pear is almost too pretty to use. Thats why i bought six.

Or at least thats what I’m telling people 😉

Yes, its THAT good. It’s creamy, rich and fragrant.

I heard from a few people on my instagram who said they liked Golden Pear but would love it more if they didnt have to smell that initial somewhat odd first note. Trust me when i say there is no odd note in the Golden Pear bath bomb.

You’d be surprised at HOW good this smells. Please dont buy just one. You’ll be sorry.

Just like their Golden Pear soap, this bath bomb has a layer of cocoa butter sandwhiched in the middle of this golden, fizzing beauty.

Even though there is a slight dusting of gold on the outside of the bomb, the water isn’t glittery. So those of you who dont like glitter will enjoy this!

I love the peach golden colored water.

And the water is more opaque and its more moisturizing too, whivh my dry skin enjoyed!

In my opinion there’s nothing not to love about this bath bomb.

Here’s my 2 minute tub demo.

For oilier skin.

See my demo video i recorded below.

This is a face mask made as a limited edition for Christmas 2018.

Its made with cocoa, vanilla, tangerine, orange, carageenan, fullers earth, and rhassoul mud.

Both rhasshoul mud and fullers earth are fantastic at zapoing oil on the skin.

I have dry skin, and it zapped any spec of oil i had on my skin.

The texture is nice and silky. It feels like pudding. Not like the more chunky texture of the Lush bio fresh face masks they sell in store.

This is like the texture of lush birth of venus face mask.

Oh, also, the red nose looks like half a cherry but is actually the same mixture as the mask. Cool!

This smells mostly of chocolate. Its like wiping brownie batter on ones face, but in the best possible way.

The carageenan made my skin noticeable softer. That was a wow.

The only teason i didnt rate this a 5 is because its not the proper one for my skin type. If you have oilier skin im sure you’ll find this a 5 out of 5 star rated product.

Here’s a video i recorded of it.

Ectoplasm shower cream

5 out of 5 rating

I live that it glows in the dark. This has an addictive effervescent scent of grapefruit and tangerine. It smells like fizzy soda. Moreso than Bubble or Celebrate imo. Ectoplasm isnt as sweet as those.

It all started with the bath before mb of the same name. After lush introduced the bath bomb for the firdt time in 2017 it was a hit. And the bath oil TreeD was also a hit. We told Mark we loved the scent and hoped someday he would make a perfume out of it.

The next year they introdiced this shower cream, a naked version, a solid perfume and a washcard.

This has the same wonderfully citrussy scent as the Ectoplasm Bath bomb.

The solid or naked version glows in the dark.

I’ll review mine and demo both when i buy them at the creative showcase Sept 23.
