Karma bath melt pyramid

30g

Karma scent

Ingredients: Cocoa Butter. Laureth 4, Gold Sparkles, Almond Oil, Perfume, Patchouli Oil , Orange Oil , Lavendin Oil , Pine Oil , Lemongrass Oil , Elemi Oil , Gardenia Extract.

Review: This is a pyramid shaped (the one on the left is a little less pyramid-like LOL), it has gold glitter and smells of Lush’s signature “Karma” scent. This is a wonderful smelling and skin softening melt. It has tns of cocoa butter. You simply put it in the bath water after it’s filled and it melts with the hot water and leaves little trails of beautiful golden glitter. You can also smoosh it up under the running water while the bath is filling up too. It’ll work either way. But beware…it has LOADS of glitter. You will have glitter everywhere (including your friends clothing, your dog and your husband) for a couple of days. I loved this melt and I wish it were still around.

Yuletide 2001 Lush Times description: Fake perfumes are so good these days that city dwellers have almost lost the ability to appreciate real scents what with the synthtic smells of coffee, bread and burgers pumped out to attract us to use their sources. There are some very beautiful synthetic perfumes (and there’s even one in Karma) but we prefer the real thing, perfumes made from flowers just like the great, great, great, great, great grandfather would have done if he hadn’t been too busy diggeing coal. Why? Because we don’t just use them for the scent; we use them for the effect on the mind and body. This is why a Bath Melt scented with Karma is so lovely; it softens and moisturizes your skin as well as scenting it. Try our new little pyramid of perfume in your bath and feel what we mean….

Christmas Retro Tree, Cinnamon Orange, Snowman bath oil tablets

3 out of 5 rating. See my demo video below.

These were first introduced in the Lush Labs website as ‘bath baubles’ months ago. At that time i purchased a couple of each. There were 10-12 different ones.

For Christmas 2019 Lush has reintroduced some of the 10-12 bath baubles as ‘bath tablets’. Basically theyre solid bath oils. Similar in ingredients to the regular, smaller, round solid bath oils that Lush sells all year round in stores and on line. The small round solid bath oils float on top of the water and are shimmery with bright, vivid colors.

These bath tablets are similar in ingredients to those but are flat and rectangular, also being quite a bit larger.

Theyre made with cocoa butter and various other nut and fruit butters. They are moisturizing. These tabkets dont float however. They just sink to the bottom. They just fail to put on the dazzling show of the small round bath oils.

These bath tablets also dont color the water very well. In my demo video i used a whole one and the water was barely colored.

These larger, solid bath oils tablets also make the tub very slippery if youre not careful.

They make my dry skin feel moisturized. And some of them are in scent families that i quite like. Thats about all i can say. While they look cute before use, and smell good, they just don’t excite me.

Year before last, for Christmas, lush had the ‘Snow Fall’ solid bath oil. It was round, white, simmery, had the most glorious winter scent and looked like actual white powdery snow falling in the water. Now THAT was very nice.

Ill take the smaller, round bath oils any day over these bath tablets.

The Snowman is lemony. Why not minty?

IMP-atient

5 out of 5 rating

I LOVE ALL Lush bath oils, ive used all 20 Lush bath oils and have loved every one. This new one is no exception. Its even cuter because its not just round, it’s in a shape.

This is one of a dozen or so new bath oils introduced exclusively at the new Lush Liverpool spa Megastore.

For a limited time Lush Uk decided to make these available for purchase for anyone to buy on their retail website lush.co.uk under ‘lush labs’.

Imp-atient smells so good. Kind of like cherry-ish.

This little imp is so cute. Almost too cute to use.

‘On those days when you’re feeling impish and can‚Äôt shake the chip on your shoulder, quieten your bugbears with this appeasing cocoa butter bath oil. Rose absolute restores and renews your sense of balance, while pink pepper gives your bad attitude a kick up the backside, bringing you back down to earth. Cleansing cistus oil adds a honeyed fragrance, sweetening your mood and cleansing your skin. As this candied pink oil dissipates, your mood melts away. Step out of the bath empowered by your emotions and ready to face the day.

See my 5 minute tub demo video of this cute little guy.

‘cream

5 out of 5 rating. See my 4 minute Tub Demo with relaxing music below.

This solid bath oil”‘cream” is one of many new bath oils (and 300+ other products) from Lush exclusive to the new biggest Lush store in the world at the Liverpool spa.

Lush Uk decided to sell it on their retail website for sny of us who wanted to buy one. I bought two.

Apparently its sold out on the site now. Im hoping they release it for Halloween 2019.

Its made with Almond essential oil and ylang ylang, and is said to smell cherryish. Indeed it foes dmell cherryish. Originslly i thought this might be American Cream scented, but it isn’t. I noticed there is ylang ylang in here, which American Cream does not have. And the strawberry, lavender and sage which are in American Cream, are not in ‘cream. So i asked Lush and verified that this is a similar but a different scent.

I didnt realize it would make purple water!

Thefe is also a silver sparkle in the wster too.

I would recommend this. The color is nice and the scent is nice.

Heres my tub demo video

I Want a Pony

5 out of 5 rating

See my 2 minute tub demo below.

I Want a Pony bath oil is one of 350 new products introduced at the new Lush Megastore in liverpool spa.

It was made with the scent of “The Comforter”, which has cassis, black currant and bergamot. Lush has made many products in this popular scent, starting with the bubble bar in 2006.

It doesnt have that odd note that is in some comforter products. No, this is just smooth berrylicous goodness.

Its made with cocoa butter and other good for your dry skin things.

It leaves a soft pink colored water. No sparkle.

I love this!

Heres a video of it melting in the hot bath water.

Dont order this during the hot months or it may arrive melted.

Careful getting out of the tub as it may be a bit more slippery

Demon

5 out of 5 rating see my demo video below

I bought this via lush.co.uk along with another bath oil and a shower bomb.

All of these are part of the 350 products that Lush have introduced st their New Mega store in Liverpool Spa.

Recently via the LushLabs lush have decided to sell these on their retail website to us for a limited time only. I bought two.

Here is a video of my bath with two lush products. One of them is Demon bath oil.

This bath oil was made in the Lord of Misrule scent; vanilla, patchouli, and black pepper.

Lush Bauble bath melts

I finally got these today (Jan 3).

See my haul video which includes a tub demo

Lush has introduced ten bath melts/oils that can be hung as ornaments on a Christmas tree or can be used as tags on gifts, for Christmas 2018 as a limited edition product.

Snowman (lemon, lemon myrtle and mint)

Orange (cinnamon, orange, Hot Toddy)

Winter Night (Furze)

Merry Christmas (orange-Berry Berry Christmas shower gel scent)

Anise (Ginger-yuk)

Iron Harvest (lavender and oats, same scent as Dreamtime bath oil, et al)

Dragon’s Temple (Same as Delight bath oil, pepper, lime)

St Basil (Jungle)

Retro Tree (Floating island)

Amelie Kringle (Candy Fluff)

Each has its own fragrance and each are made with different ingredients, all are made with cocoa butter and murumuru butter.

some have scents that Lush has used in other products but most of their scents are new.

I bought all but one, the Hot Toddy one. That was sold out when i got to the site. However, i did buy a Hot Toddy one from a woman who lives in Germany. So eventually i’ll be able to add that one here too. Keep coming back to this page. ūüôā

I’m going to use each of the nine different ones i bought and write a review, and record a short tub water demo video for each one, and i’ll add them to this page as i use them.

I’m going to use the best smelling one (in my opinion) first.

You simply place the bauble in an already filled tub and the hot water of the tub melts the bauble. Each one makes a different shade of water. Alternatively you can hold it under the water faucet of the tub. But many consider the ‘show’ that it puts on when it is placed in the already filled tub water part of the effect.

Winter Night

This particular bauble, Winter Night’ melt is my favorite scent of the 10 different bauble melts that Lush has created as an exclusive in the Uk for Christmas 2018.

i’m going to go take a bath with this one and will have pics and tub video in a couple of hours.

Plum Pudding

5 out of 5 rating.

£5.75 (converted to $7.50)

Made with the Plum Rain scent.

This is possibly my favorite Christmas 2018 product.

Looking strikingly similar to Lush long time favorite ‘Ceridwen’s Cauldron’s bath oil, wrapped in a piece of purple muslin, the bath oil itself is also a deep purple color.

There are multiple little bits of goodies embedded in the top of Plum Pudding.

It makes it look quite like a real plum pudding.

That changes when it hits the water, and the irridescent showstopping purple glitter comes out.

It has the wonderful fruity aroma of plums and, oranges.

Im so glad that Lush decided to make a BIG bath oil, like the size they used to make. While the current lush bath oils are a perfect little gem sized piece, theres something to be said about having a big chunk of purple glittery goodness to rub all over oneself.

This makes my skin feel good. And its gorgeous. I cant resist purple glitter.

Im going to stock up and buy three to five of these beauties.

When you get back from late night shopping and you’re plum out of energy, get in the bath with this skin softening melt. The proof is in the pudding and with ingredients to soften and soothe you’re in for more than just a sweet treat! Watch your winter woes melt away with whole oats and almond oil to hydrate and calm. The best puddings this Christmas are made with Fair Trade organic cocoa butter to moisturise and protect your skin. Lay back and relax with calming osmanthus absolute and petitgrain oil. It’ll be a date to remember.

Magnificent

See my 2 minute demo and review video of my Lush Magnificent bath oil below.

Feel propelled by uplifting grapefruit and tangerine, as you luxuriate in waters infused with a coalescence of intensely moisturising shea butter, jojoba oil and restorative litsea cubeba oil. You don’t need a bath to tell you how magnificent you are, but it helps.

Tangerine, Grapefruit and Litsea cubeba.

Tree D

4 out of 5 rating. Made with the Ectoplasm bath bomb fragrance of tangeeine, grapefruit and litsea cubeba.. see my tub demo below.

I love that this is a 3D bath melt of a tree. Thus the name ‘Tree D’. We can use one piece or both pieces for one bath.

I’m full on addicted to this citrussy scent.

Revelation

4 out of 5 rating

The new 2017 Revelation has the scent of Berry Berry Christmas, not the Potion scent as the one in my review below is made from. Berry berry christmas and thus the new Revelation bath oil, have a lushious, fruity, orange scent. This 2017 revelation isn’t spicy, nor floral, as the one i reviewed below is. The one i had was just a prototype. ūüôā

The prototype from the Lush Summit has a spicy scent. ¬†I like the scent. It smells like carnation oil and cloves and was made in the Lush ‘Potion’ lotion scent, also having rose, tangerine.

The new one has orange and bergamot in it and I quite like the new scent. the new one is also a 4 out of 5 rating.

See my tub demo of it video below

Lush Bath Oils-New

See my bath oil video demo list of 20 new Lush bath oils. I’ve done video demos of all 19. The links to each of those tub demo videos are in the below list

A fabulous way to get a good amount of our favorite fragrances in a small package. ¬†It’s small but it makes a gorgeous show in the tub. ¬†Adding color and in some cases shimmer. ¬†The fragrances are stronger and last longer on the skin than in other things like bath bombs and bubble baths.

I have all of them, so as i use each one i’ll make videos and take photos that you can watch¬†via the links below.

Road From Damascus bath oil

4 out of 5 rating. see my demo video

Lush Description; “With Damascus rose and bitter orange you’ll be whisked away momentarily from this ever changing world.”

rosed

this has a lovely, fresh floral fragrance of rose, violet and orange flower.

It was made in the new, upcoming perfume fragrance of the same name.

I’m glad I was able to get a few

Here’s my demo video of this bath oil

The Lush Creative Showcase and Oxford Street bubble bar called ‘Magic Coloured’ bubbles was made in the Road From Damascus scent.

Cloak of Invisibility

2.5 out of 5 rating

Only because i do not like the scent. However, it is quite beautiful, which is why this isn’t a 1 out of 5 rating. .

See my demo video of this in the tub, close up doing it’s thing. ¬†It’s lovely movements, twirling gold and red, just like the spinning cloak.

If you just feel like disappearing for a little while, slip into the bath with this seductively relaxing bath oil and cloak yourself in floral jasmine absolute and mood-brightening ylang ylang oil. If you don’t like the 2014 Lush Valentine’s ‘Floating Flower’ bath bomb, you won’t like this one, because they both share their scent. It’s the “Flying Fox’ scent family that this belongs to. ¬†I really don’t like the Jasmine scented ‘Flying Fox’. ¬†Because i don’t like a lot of jasmine. ¬†But loads of people like this one. It’s very pretty.

I made this bath oil demo of this bath oil

Johnny Appleseed

See my demo video below.

It has a great apple scent!

We don’t want to put ideas in your head, so we’ll just plant a seed. Why not pop this fruity green treat in the bath? An apple a day will send troubles away as you sow uplifting neroli, bright lemon and Brazilian orange oils into the water.¬†Make it the apple of your eye.

Melt warning: this product is made with ingredients which allow it to soften at  body temperature, and so it prefers not to be posted to hot, sunny climates.

Dreamtime bath oil

5 out of 5 rating

See my 2 minute video demo below.

file-sep-26-8-00-42-pm

This is SO beautiful in the bath, beautiful surprises. This gets prettier as it melts away. ¬†What a knockout color when it melts. ¬†It looks so elegant, but when it’s in the water WOW. ¬†Purple heaven. ¬†It has the wonderfully spicy lavender and ginger scent. ¬†It was very moisturizing to my skin.

The lavender also promotes sleep.

I will definitely be buying more of these gorgeous things.

I can use them when i want to take ‘clearing my energy’¬†kind of a bath.

I made a 2 minute video demo below for Lush Oxford Street ‘Dreamtime’ bath oil. It has the same wonderful lavender scent as the refgular current ‘dreamtime’ bath melt.

Melting Marshmallow Moments

A new bath oil “Melting Marshmallow Moments’ may sound familiar to you. That’s because there is already a bath melt in all stores with the same name.
This one of many products lush has made with the ‘Snow Fairy’ shower gel.
It’s a beautiful shimmery pink and yellow disk.
I was surprised that it didn’t color the water or have as much glitter as the other new Lush bath oils. However it has a good amount of scent in the bath and the almond oil and cocoa butter was moisturizing to my skin.
I think i like the Melting Marshmallow Moments bath melt more than this new solid bath oil. Mostly because it makes more of a showin the bath.
Not my favorite bath oil from Lush Oxford Street but it’s so pretty one can’t help but buy at least one.

Monsieur Gustave

5 out of a 5 rating.  See my tub demo and review video below.

Monsiuer Gustave, A delightful character in the movie “The Grand Budapest Hotel’ , Monsiuer Gustave bath oil has the popular Lush perfume “Cocktail” scent. ¬†I love the color sooo much. ¬†And the subtle sweet tobacco scent mixes with the rose oil and herb-y lavender, making a fun, bright floral. ¬†The final color of the bath water is a gorgeous fushia purple. ¬†Those of you who remember Lush London boutique called “B Never” will remember the scent of “Cocktail‘ of which Monsiuer Gustave is made from.

Lush description: ¬†L’air du panache. ¬†Without question, without fail, and invariably, exceedingly lovely.

Ingredients:  Organic shea butter, fair trade organic cocoa butter, lavender oil, extra virgin coconut oil, perfume, organic jojoba oil, rose absolute, tobacco absolute, purple lustre.

I cutie in half so you can see what it looks like on the inside, but i used the whole thing in the bath for this video.
