Posh chocolate body wash

5 out of 5 star rating See my Demo Video below

This deliciously self-centred chocolate body wash is packed with aloe vera and glycerine to soften and hydrate delicate skin.

How to use:

Completely vegan friendly, this is a great body wash for dry skin. Scoop out a good handful and inhale the rich cocoa aroma while you work it all over your body then rinse off.

  • VEGAN
  • 100% RECYCLED POT

Deliciously hydrating and softening. Thisis the best product Lush has created in quite awhile. This smells more like straight up chocolate than any of the other chocolate things that Lush has made. It does remind me of the scent of Lush Walter Bunny scrub.

I describe the texture in my video below but it feels like a chocolate mouse in thepot and feels like silk when you rub it on your body.

Pearl bath bomb

How to use:

Run a bath and release the delicately floral scent for luxurious milky, soothing waters topped with pearlescent lustre for a bath bomb and oil in one.

How to store:
When only the best will do this Mother’s Day. Keep in a cool, dry place until you’re ready for a moisturising soak.

Pearl bath bomb looks like a giant pearl. It’s white and has a pearlescent sheen on the top half of the bomb.

When i first took it out of my order box i feel absolutely in love with the scent. On my video i said it smells like vanilla icing.

Lush definitely needs to make a perfume of this. I felt so strongly about this that i contacted Mark the creator and owner of Lush about this.

Pearl doesn’t change the water color nor does it product bath art. But it doesn’t have to because it’s one of those bombs like ‘So White’ or ‘Snow Drop’ that are white and foamy and dance all over the tub. This Pearl does this back and forth rocking movement the whole time it’s in the tub. It’s quite charming as it shakes itself all around letting go of some beautiful white shimmer in the water.

The incredible scent stayed on my skin and when i put on my robe even my robe smelled like vanilla icing with roses. Gorgeous!

One word to describe this bomb is ‘ethereal’.

Colour 18050, Methylparaben. * Occurs naturally in essential oils

Lush 2005 description: We’ve finally given in to pressure and made a strawberry shower gel, but as we’re Lush, there’s no way it was going to resemble anyone else’s synthetic strawberry products. For starters, ours has real strawberries in it, plus immensely expensive, soothing jasmine essential oil and sweetly scented geranium. You don’t get those in your chain store bottled stuff, oh no! Strawberry Twin Tub was inspired by the need to keep a couple of young twins quiet at bath time. Buy two, and let them throw wobbly jellies at each other until they’re nice and clean and ready for bed. (Adults may do the same thing, if they like.)

Review: This jelly was made by Lush to smell like their discontinued bubble bar called “Two Timing Tart”. The jelly is a nice balance of fruity and floral. This was made by Lush UK for another mom of twins “Twinmum” from the International forum.

Here’s a demonstration video i did of this jelly

Abombinaball shower jelly

Its made in the same scent as the limited edition bath bomb of the same name.

Its scent is made with peppermint, vanilla and orange oil. Its a yummy, sweet vanilla mint.

This can be used whole on the body as soap in the shower or as i show in my video one can cut it up and use it in a kitchen seieve as a bubble bath.

Heres a video of it

Heavanilli

5 out of 5 rating

Lush Times: Sweet delicious Vanilla Fountain fragrance – tonka bean, jasmine and heaps of vanilla absolute. At the time of writing, we’ve not had the chance to put this to a real live test; we’ve used it on our arms in the creative team meeting, sniffed it with enthusiasm and longing, but as yet, we haven’t been able to take them home with us, smooth them all over our lovers’ bodies to see what happens next. Heavanilly’s melty butters smell of sensual jasmine, vanilla and tonka – and cinder toffee – so we can guess.

Ingredients: Cocoa Butter (Theobroma cacao), Fair Trade Shea Butter (Butyrospermum parkii), Extra Virgin Coconut Oil (Cocos nucifera), Perfume, Vanilla Absolute (Vanilla planifolia), Jasmine Absolute (Jasminum officinale), Tonka Absolute (Dipteryx odorata), Hydroxycitronellal, Gardenia Extract (Gardenia jasminoides), Colour 73360

I love this massage bar. Out of the 60 or so different Lush massage bars, Heavanilli is one of my favorites. Its made in the Lush ‘Vanillary’ perfume fragrance. Lush has made many products with this popular perfume scent.

I would recommend it. I enjoy using it and Its one that i would buy again and again.

Sappho

2 out of 5 rating

“For a limited time only, 30ml bottles of this perfume will be available to order online. This perfume and the rest of The Florence Collection are also available in 100ml bottles in your nearest perfume library.”

Sappho is one of five perfumes which are only sold at the Florence, Italy Perfume Library store. But Lush Uk has them temporarily on their retail site uk.lush.com

I happened to be on the site looking at the mothets day producys and saw them there!

I wanted to like Sappho so much. I bought it because the ingredients vanilla, jasmine, sandalwood, tonka, orris, tobacco and anise seemed perfect.

List of ingredients

Especially when the description said this:

You’ll love this if you like:
– Powdery vanilla scents.
Vanillary perfume.
– Sunny sapphic sensuality on a Greek island.

But when i spray it on, it smells great for a minute then these note come through thats like licorice, jaine and tobacco and this overrides the lovely vanilla quality.

If the licorice-y note wasnt there it would be so good, but unfortunately it burns my nose, just turns strange and is way too strong with my body chemistry. The part thats left over loooonngg after its dried down hours later is aactually kind of nice

actually kind of nicely soft and vanilla like, but it takes literally hours to become this nice scent. I think Lush shpuld take the anise out of it.

“Fell in love with a girl?

Bittersweet and inescapable, this ode to a striking poetess, the Tenth Muse, will shake your senses. Classical orris entwines with carnal jasmine to enchant deep desires.”

Keep It Fluffy perfume

5 out of 5 rating. Vanilla, Jasmine, Lemongrass, Rose.

In the above picture I show the current Lush 2021 “Keep It Fluffy bubble bottle’ solid bubble bar, made in the same scent as the perfume.

Lush used to haver a sister company called “B Never Too Busy To Be Beautiful’ in the mid 2000’s in England. They made bath and beauty products like the current lush that were a bit more upscale. They also made or remade many things that they used to sell when they were called “Cosmetics To Go’.  Lush made 10 different perfumes at this boutique, along with bath and beauty products the same fragrances as the perfumes.  One of the ten perfumes were called “Keep It Fluffy”.

In the above and below photos I show the different bottles that Lush/B Never made this perfume in.

I tried pretty much everything at the b Never boutique, being that the lush UK site had a tab to order online from B Never, and delivered it to those of us customers who lived in the United states. And while I tried everything there and I liked much of it, Keep It Fluffy was one of my favorites. I Like rose.  I always have.

Keep It Fluffy is a soft, pretty scent that is fresh nd clean but also floral.  It’s not too sweet.  Not too rosy, not too jasmine. It’s just right. This scent is like the younger sister to Lush “Fever” perfume, which is another one of my favorite perfumes from Lush..

This was one of my favorites at the B Never boutique. I order everything in this scent.  Lush description: The Doris Day off bubble bars.  Lie back and dream of old school glamour.  Powdery vanilla and uplifting lemongrass pair perfectly to create a pretty scent. Sensual and Heady Jasmine takes you from day into sultry nights.  Soothing, powdery vanilla leaves you feeling comforted and warm.

Here is a 4 minute video I made for you describing this fragrance.

Demon

5 out of 5 rating see my demo video below

I bought this via lush.co.uk along with another bath oil and a shower bomb.

All of these are part of the 350 products that Lush have introduced st their New Mega store in Liverpool Spa.

Recently via the LushLabs lush have decided to sell these on their retail website to us for a limited time only. I bought two.

Here is a video of my bath with two lush products. One of them is Demon bath oil.

This bath oil was made in the Lord of Misrule scent; vanilla, patchouli, and black pepper.

Cilla the Caterpillar

5 out of 5 rating

Lush has recently ooened up their biggest store world wide in liverpool. They introduced 350 new products starting at this store. One of these was this bath bomb.

Lush decided to have them available on their lush.co.uk retail site. Thats where i bought this.

Lush made this in their ‘Vanillary’ perfume scent. Its a yummylicous blend of creamy sweet vanilla tonka bean, grounding sandalwood, and sensual jasmine floral. Just the right amount.

This bath bomb is strong wuth the vanillary scent. Smells like sweet vanilla caramel custard pudding. YUM. Yet theres a subtle sensualness to it because of the sandalwood and jasmine.

Im sorry i didnt buy two.

The green and peach colors combine to make pretty bath art.

The combination ultimately making a peridot green color.

American Cream shower gel

3 out of 5 rating.

See my 8 minute video below. I worked very hard in this video to describe exactly what the scent smells like so you can make your best purchasing choices. 🙂

Here is a photo i took of the Lush products made in this scent.

the liquid version is on the thin side.

oddly i enjoyed washing with the naked version a bit more.

American Cream is a vanilla based scent which also has clary sage, and lavender as its scent components.  The hair conditioner added strawberry.  The other American Cream products have strawberry in them…but….American Cream products do not smell like strawberry.  It’s made with strawberry, it’s not strawberry scented. And in the perfumery industry there IS a difference between those two sentences. :-

I like to make that clear, so that people won’t spend their hard earned money on something that they think will be strawberry scented, only to be disappointed when it’s not.

My review and demo video 🙂

American Pie body conditioner

4 out of 5 rating

See my 6 minute sink demo of both the potted and naked versions video below.

I love that Lush made a body conditioner from one of its popular hair conditioner (American Cream) fragrance. And i like that they named it American Pie like the exclusive shower jelly from a couple of years back from lush.co.uk

The fragrance of it is akin to a vanilla milkshake. In fact the hair conditioner which started this all was made to mimic an American cocktail which tastes like a vanilla milkshake.

Lush has made more than a dozen different products in this same blend of vanilla, lavender, clary sage and strawberry juice.

Think of this as a hair conditioner for the body. In my demo video i show how to apply it and how to rinse it off.

This works well for me. I live in the desert southwest and my skin is VERY dry and this works really well at moisturizing without feeling greasy or oily.

Lush American Cream scent family photo

And rest assured Lush doesn’t claim the American cream scent smells like strawberry either.  I know because I’ve talked the the owner of lush about this very thing.

Now, onto what it DOES smell like, to most people, including myself.  It smells like creamy vanilla, with a light whiff of herbal clary sage and a pinch of herb-y lavender.

Below i’ll list what is shown and what isn’t shown in my photo above.

Marshmallow World

4 out of 5 rating

See my 2 minute tub demo below

Lush has opened up a new store in the Harajuku area of Japan. At this new, special store Lush will sell 35-50 exclusive bath bombs. One of these exclusive Japan Harajuku store bombs is Marshmallow World.

Its made with the popular scent of a Lush hair conditioner called ‘American Cream’, which is an herbal vanilla blend.

It’s made with strawberries for their skin properties , not for the primary scent. The scent is sage-which is a bitter herb-and vanilla, and we all know what vanilla smells like. So put bitter herbs and vanilla together with a bit of lavender, which is even more of an herbally flower, and you have the American Cream scent.

So you can see that it doesn’t smell like strawberries.

I like to stress this fact because i always see disappointed people writing lush comments like ‘but it doesnt smell like strawberries like some of your other strawberry scented things’.

Whew. Now that we have that out of the way 😉 let me talk about what this bomb looks like.

Marshmallow World is such a pretty bomb on the outside, with lovely pink and having purple and yellow striations. It pooks like an unfamilair but fun planet.

It fizzes and makes a baby pink foam and turns the water a light pink color. This bomb must have somethung special in it which is softening to the skin. It feels moisturizing a bit.

What a beautiful scent. While American Cream scent isn’t my favorite, i don’t hate it either by any means. Its a calming scent to me. I think its quite a meditative scent..with a teaspoon of yumminess thrown in.

Lush has made three other bath bombs in the past years with the American Cream scent with different names. But i must say this is the prettiest version.

It doesnt make full-on bath art per se, but it is still beautiful as it fizzes in the tub.

I would by one more but its not one i would stock up on like i did with some of the other community favorites/Japan store bombs like ‘Tender is the Night’, ‘The Comforter’, ‘Melusine’, ‘Golden Pear’.

My tub demo

If youre an American Cream lover than i suggest you stock up on these limited edition beauties!

Lush description: Indulge in a sugar bath scented with American Cream – you’ll get all of the sweet-shop glee and none of the post-binge guilt. Vanilla scented with a touch of strawberry, this multi-coloured marvel is a fiesta of fizz. Marshmallow powder soothes and softens, while granulated sugar adds a sugary flourish, you’ll smell good enough to eat!

For oilier skin.

See my demo video i recorded below.

This is a face mask made as a limited edition for Christmas 2018.

Its made with cocoa, vanilla, tangerine, orange, carageenan, fullers earth, and rhassoul mud.

Both rhasshoul mud and fullers earth are fantastic at zapoing oil on the skin.

I have dry skin, and it zapped any spec of oil i had on my skin.

The texture is nice and silky. It feels like pudding. Not like the more chunky texture of the Lush bio fresh face masks they sell in store.

This is like the texture of lush birth of venus face mask.

Oh, also, the red nose looks like half a cherry but is actually the same mixture as the mask. Cool!

This smells mostly of chocolate. Its like wiping brownie batter on ones face, but in the best possible way.

The carageenan made my skin noticeable softer. That was a wow.

The only teason i didnt rate this a 5 is because its not the proper one for my skin type. If you have oilier skin im sure you’ll find this a 5 out of 5 star rated product.

Here’s a video i recorded of it.

Candy Mountain Yule Log

4 out of 5 rating

Yeah, this isnt Snow Fairy scented firstly. Just wanted to get that out of the way.

This is Creamy Candy scented. Lush makes a bubble bar year round called ‘Creamy Candy’ in stores. Well every Christmas Lush makes a christmas themed Creamy Candy bubble bar and calls it ‘Candy Mountain.

Historically its looked kind of like a unicorn horn shape.

This year however, Lush has re-designed their Christmas Candy Mountain. It looks quite different. It has more of a laser cut mountain design. I like it, its more refined than past years Candy Mountain.

The reason people confuse this with snow fairy is because the two scents creamy candy and snow fairy/candy fluff are similar, but yhey are different and made with different scent ingredients such as synthetic musk and vanilla in varying degrees. Snow Fairy/Candy Fluff adds clove bud leaf.

This Candy Mountain has extra skin conditioning ingredients in it, moreso than other Lush bubble bars.

I recorded a 1 minute tub demo of it for you below

Royalty

5 out of 5 rating. See my Tub Demo video of it that I recorded for you below

This is a Lush Cosmetics bath bomb made exclusively for the New Lush Japan Naked ship opening at the beginning of the new year.

Jack Constantine was kind enough to give me one of each of the six exclusive bath bombs. However i had already bought two when i was at the showcase. So i have one left for a Giveaway!

Here’s a Bathtub Demo of it that I recorded for you

Royalty bath bomb is made with jasmine and vanilla. the lush person at the Creative Showcase told me there was also sandalwood in it.

A Gold Crown. What’s not to like?

The scent of Royalty reminds me of The Lush ‘Vanillary’ scent except this adds sandalwood.

See my tub demo of Royalty that i recorded below.

I don’t know if they add condoning things in this bath bomb but it definitely seems to be more conditioning than most lush bath bombs. The water almost becomes milky.

There is a beautiful gold shimmer in the water. Not too much though.

Snow Fairy cold pressed soap

3 out of 5 rating. See my video review and sink demo below.

A soap for the holidays in the cold pressed style.  I believe this particular one is more moisturizing with extra coconut oil if I’m not mistaken. A cold pressed soap is the same consistency as the current Lush Uk ‘Mechanic’ and ‘Gardner’ soaps.

Here are all the Christmas 2017 products with the  popular pink, vanilla sweeties ‘Snow Fairy’ fragrance.

Here’s my video it

Think Pink (2008 version)

4 out of 5 rating

See my demo video of this below

Ingredients: Ingredients: Sodium Bicarbonate, Citric Acid, Perfume, Lavender Oil (Lavendula hybrida), Tonka Absolute (Dipteryx odorata), Vanilla Absolute (Vanilla planifolia), Neroli Oil (Citrus amara), Pink Heart Confetti, D&C Red No. 33, FD&C Red No. 4, D&C Red No. 27, Candy Flowers

This is such a pretty ballistic. It smells of vanilla, neroli, lavender and tonka bean.  I just didnt’ like this ballistic at all when I first had it in a bath. But after using it again, wow, it’s fruity, and girly, and a tad foody, all at the same time. The orangey- neroli is there, the vanilla, the lavender. Water that is pretty medium dark pink. And wait, there are candy hearts and tiny heart confetti made out of soap too? And a tiny amount of magenta colored glitter at the bottom? Why didn’t I like this again?  a 4 star rating.

Lush Times 2006 Description: Darlings, this is the ultimate in fuchsia pink baths. Four candy flowers top this marvel of utter pinkness and, as it fizzes furiously, it unleashes a shower of pink confetti into the bathwater. We’re using our brand new favourite tonka bean essential oil because it smells so wickedly fabulous, darlings! It also helps you to get in touch with your deeper emotions. Do be careful whom you meet for lunch just after you bathe! We don’t want to go eleasing our deeper emotions all over the starter and upsetting the other ladies, do we? (Or do we?).

file-sep-25-5-46-11-pm

In 2010 this changed to a new shape – becoming the same size as 90g ballistics like the lush Butterball bath bomb is.

Here’s a demo video i made of this bath bomb in the tub close up
