oddly i enjoyed washing with the naked version below a bit more.

American Cream is a vanilla based scent which also has clary sage, and lavender as its scent components.  The hair conditioner added strawberry.  The other American Cream products have strawberry in them…but….American Cream products do not smell like strawberry.  It’s made with strawberry, it’s not strawberry scented.

This bottle bow was made again years later in July 2024.

I like to make that clear, so that people won’t spend their hard earned money on something that they think will be strawberry scented, only to be disappointed when it’s not.

Deep Sleep jelly

Not to be confused with another Lush product called ‘Deep Sleep‘ which is a purple bath bomb.

Ingredients: Sodium Laureth Sulfate, Glycerine, Sunflower Petal Infusion (Hehanthus annuus), Propylene Glycol, Fresh Orange Juice (Citrus dulcis), Carrageenan Extract, Lavender Oil (Lavandula hybrida), Chamomile Oil (Matricaria chamomila), Lavender Absolute (Lavandula hybrida), Neroli Oil (Citrus amara), *Linalool, Perfume, Colour 18050, Gardema Extract (Gardeme jasminoides), Methylparaben, Golden Luste Sparkle.

Review: This smells like heaven to me. You’ve got a lavender citrus that is just a wonderful combination of scents. I couldn’t call it lavender with a bit of orange…and I can’t say it’s citrussy with a bit of lavender. It’s both equally and I never thought that would be such a good combination of scents. Okay, wait, it gets better….it has glitter. Not as much of a staying power as “Joy of Jelly” has on the skin after use, but that , I do like the scent of Deep Sleep much, much more
than the Joy of Jelly.

Pumpkin soap

Lush Time Xmas 2008: You’ll want a whole one, but be warned; it’s even heavier than a real pumpkin and it’s not hollow inside. Probably best to get yourself a manageable slice or two. Mo’s new soap is a lovely creamy pumpkin coloured affair with a scent that she borrowed from the gorgeous Almond Buttercream: sweet wild orange, lime, mandarin and spice cinnamon. (If you’re northern, like Emma from training and Auntie Pamela, and could only have a turnip for Halloween when you were little, this more than makes up for the childhood deprivation.) It’s only around for Halloween so get yours before All Hallows Day.

Here’s a picture of my Pumpkin soap back then. It’s a 100g piece that Lush were selling via the website.   The big slab of soap that they sold in the store that Halloween looked like the below photo.  I LOVE these soaps, the smell is great.
