Who doesnt like Roses & Chocolates for Valentine’s?
I adore the dark/ milk chocolate one so this one with white chocolate and rose had alot to live up to.
First of all it looks elegant: it is softer, and a bit more creamy than its dark brown counterpart.
Its pretty with its three gold covered, red rosebuds and gold leaf flecks on the top.
Its silky smooth to wash with without being too greasy.
It’s easy to use. It doesnt drip because its more solid than that, but at the same time just soft enough.
Its nice to wash with and makes nice, silky lather.
It rinses off easily and leaves skin soft and moisturized, but not too moisturized.
The rose note is present, in a light to medium strong way, nothing too strong or in your face.
Im glad i bought it.

I love the old and new scents. Quite a variety for those of us who like florals, and those of us who like like foody/yummy fragrances. Lush has many Whimsical products this Valentines, which i love.
My favorite scent is in the purple potion bottle bath bomb. And my second favorite is the yumny yummy yummy shower gel scent in the love letter bath bomb, and the strawberry heart soap.

Love Island
This is a new product for Valentines 2023. My short Tub Demo Video is coming and will be attached to this post shortly.
This is a Lush bath melt. Lush has had many different designs of bath melts through the yearsz This Love Island bath melt is reminiscent of their original cupcake shaped bath melts. Their most famous cupcake type is called ‘Floating Island’. So tou can see the play on words of ‘Love Island.
Floating island is a dessert. And Love Island is the name of a reality show in England about couples on an island.
The scent if Love Island is that of the Lush Keep it Fluffy’ Lush has made the perfume a few times throughout the years since 2004 when they opened their sister company ‘B Never Too Bust To Be Beautiful’.
The fragrance is a floral and fruity combination made with rose, lemon, jasmine, bergamot.
Lush has created many kinds of different products in the scent. Their sister company B Never also made candles, incense, liquid bath oil, bath powder, etc.
This bath melt’s scent isnt very strong. Its nice, but it could be stronger imo.
The bath melt is a rose color with tiny silver sparkle mixed throughout.
I would give this a 4 out of 5. Mostly because i love the shape, the look, and the scent.

Hi y’all. Heres my unboxing video where i go through each product describe it and rate it.
As i do every year ill also start listing each product in alohabetical order down below over the next few days and will have pics and reviews of the products along with close up Demo Videos of each.
There are a combination of returning Valentines Lush products and New Valentines products. All of them are limited time.
Hot Lips
This is a lip mask. A lip mask is a new (ish) way for hydrating your lips. Just like sheet masks hydrate your face. I’ve been using lip masks from various different K Beauty brands for a couple of years and use them pretty regularly on my self care days.
Lush says on their Uk website “
“Softer, smoother lips are a must whether it’s Valentine’s Day or not, because who doesn’t want kissable lips all the time? Hot Lips is made with loads of glycerin so it’s mega hydrating, while natural ground bamboo stem extract delivers a super-fine polish to scrub away any unwanted dry bits. Plus, it tastes like sweet cherries. But don’t take our word for it; ask a willing friend to try it out.
And this is their instructions for use on the uk lush online purchase product website.
“Designed for one-time use, simply pop the mask over your lips and let the ingredients to get to work for a few minutes. Once you’re done, buff the product across your lips until you feel the bamboo. Then, lick your lips or rinse away any residue.”
The scent of this lip mask is so good. It smells like another Valentines product from two years ago called ‘Kiss Me Quick’. It’s what i would call a lipstick mixed with cherry. I love the smell.
So on to how it works. So i unpacked it from its little envelope.
It feels nice. I noticed it doesn’t have any liquid, or gel, nor any kind of serum on it or in it.
I thought that was different for a lip mask. The ones i’ve tried weren’t dry like this. At the very least it shoulve been damp. So it wouldn’t stick to my lips whatsoever. Lush’s instructions say to ‘put it on your lips for a few minutes’ and let it moisturize or hydrate yoyr lips.
So since it didnt dtay on i tried just holding it in place with my hand. I even tried it lying down so it would stay on my lips.
Nothing happens. Literally nothing. My lips were dry just like they were before i put the mask on.
There wasnt even any product on my lips. There wasnt even any residue! How is this even possible?
I tried wetting it a little bit. Nope. No change. Still didnt stick to my lips.
Im so confused as to how this works.
Hmm. There was what looked like liquid or color that seeped into the envelope that it was in. Maybe thats the issue? Dunno.
It sure is cool looking in the sun!
I dont know its possible im just being dumb but i didnt really get it. 🤷🏽♀️Id rate it a 2 out of 5 rating.

The ones i got from Lush Uk were more pink and the one i got from Lush usa is more red.
This is a New, limited edition bath bomb for Valentine’s 2022. Its made in the shape of a Lobster, and is made in the same scent as ‘Pink Fun’ bar. Tonka and Benzoin.
It has a soft floral scent with a bit of yumminess.

I love the reddish pink color. Lush doesn’t have many products with this color. I love it!
This is not a fast fizzing bath bomb, it’s one of those slow, melty kind of bath bombs . I love the ones like this, and this one is extra ‘fluffy’ in the water.

I like the fun lobster shape, i love the uncommon color, and i like the scent.

This is a New Lush limited edition shower gel for Valentine’s 2022.
This is a new shower gel with a new scent. It’s an apple scent, but different than another Lush apple scent called ‘So White’. To me so white is more of a green apple scent and Temptation is more of a red apple scent.
Even though lush said its a new scent i found out from The_Lush_Box oninstagram that Lush made this shower gel in the same scent as their 2004 ‘Temptation’ soap
It’s not a sweet scent. It reminds me of fresh green grass under an apple tree. The apple is more subtle.
A beautiful red color with no glitter.
My husband said he smells apple with a bit of floral. Neither one of us smell any hint of cinnamon in this shower gel.
It’s also made in the same scent as the Lush ‘Apple Crumble‘ bubble bar, and the Valentine’s 2024 Turtle jelly.
The gel is so thick that when you squeeze it out it falls out in ribbons. And i did my plate test in the video and it took a LONG time to drip down the plate.

I’m not sure if Lush is only offering the small size of jelly this Valentine’s?
Nevertheless, i love this jelly. I think this Syrawberry Heart shower jelly is one of the best strawberry scents that lush has ever made (besides the yummy yummy yummy shower gel) . Lush says it’s a new strawberry scent. And yes i would say it is. Doesn’t smell like Yummy Yummy Yummy because there’s no geranium, no frankincense and no bergamot. It Doesn’t smell like Strawberry Twin Tub jelly either because there is no floral notes.
This truly smells like Strawberry jam.

This is a new, limited edition soap that will be coming out for Valentines 2022.
I love the Lush Valentines soaps quite a bit. I’ve been buying Lush Valentines soaps every year since 2001. For the past few years Lush has reference to a Rose on their Valentines soap. This one is beautiful with a pink color and a rose carving on top in a different shade of pink. I can’t wait to see the whole extra large store display soap of this. I will take make a vid of it at the sink for you.
I would rate this a 4 out of 5 rating. If it was just a bit stronger in scent i’d give it a 5.
This soap was made with the Lush ‘Softy’ scent. It’s a beautiful light rose, orange, and ylang ylang scent. It’s a soft powdery rose with little bits of rose petals in it.
Lush has made a few items in the ‘Softy’ scent;
Powder Puff Deoderant – I’m adding my pic and review of this tomorrow.
It kind of smells similar to the Lush Unicorn Horn bubble bar but with rose.
I can definitely smell the lavender in this soap, and the orange oil is nice, and it’s subtle. The ylang ylang is present too.
It’s no wonder i love this soap. At one point long ago my favorite lush bath bomb was Softy.

Emma’s initial workings were based on Rose, Violet, Coffee and Pear as a combination. Rowena smelt the perfume and thought it smelt of Sugar Almonds (a pastel coloured candy Almond – Usually found as a gift on the table at British Weddings). In Italy they have the same tradition for celebratory events and the Sugar Almonds are known as Confetti – which was a perfect fit …so much so, that this will be Emma’s signature scent for her wedding in 2020.

I was not expecting to like this so much. What i love about this bar most is the smell. It’s made with Davana oil. Whenever i smell a Lush product with davana oil it always smells like tropical fruit.
This bar smells like a cross between banana and cherry. The scent is really good!
This Blow Me a Kiss bar is a reusable type of bar.
You use it, and then when you have enough bubbles simply put it where it can dry, like a soap dish, and then you can use it for another bath on another day.

I couldn’t blow a bubble with it. But i didn’t keep trying either so your mileage may vary.
How to use:
Hold under running water for mounds of bubbles or blow through for an airborne bubble show. When you’ve whipped up enough bubbles, pop on the side to dry for next time.

There’s a different look to the Valentines 2021 version. The former version was sold as an exclusive on the sum site 9 months ago.
The Keep It Fluffy perfume is literally my favorite Lush perfume ever!
Lush used to have a sister company called B Never Too Busy To Be Beautiful. They made bath and beauty products that were a little bit more upscale than Lush. One of line of bath products was called ‘1000 Kisses Deep’ taken from the lyrics of a song. Ludh made perfume, soap, incense, liquid bath oil, bath salts, bubble bath, lotion etc.
Here’s a pic i took of some Keep It Fluffy products that i bought from Lush’s boutique called B Never Too Bust To Be Beautiful. Notice that the crystal spray bottle of perfume on the left is the same shape of the Valentines bubble bar.

Gentle Jasmine

This smells just like the perfume. And it stays true to how it smells when it’s dry. It’s an earthy scent. I would rate it a 5 out of 5 rating.
The Lush description says it smells like apricot. 1000 Kisses Deep has an complex, earthy scent with a note that smells like apricot.
Some of you will know what this scent smells like if you’ve tried the Lush ‘Beautiful’ shower gel.

It’s interesting that the water is green and not yellow. 1000 Kisses Deep is a scent that was sold at Lush sister company ‘B Never Too Busy To Be Beautiful’. The fragrance was complex, multi layered, having myrrh, orange oil, labdanum and osmanthus.
How to use: Swirl this love potion through the bath or hold under the running water to create stacks of sensual bubbles. Layer up with the perfume for extra impact.
How to store: Store somewhere cool and dry until you’re ready for this little bar to sweep you off your feet.

The Love Locket bomb with the blue lock is from last year (which i think was better and made prettier water and had a better scent.
I’ll do a comparison in photos and videos.

This year Lush brought back the popular Valentine love locket bath bomb. However this year both the design and the scent are different.
This year lush designed the love locket in the new ‘Amazeball’ design, which is a hollowed out design filled with a bath bomb top, and miniature, multi colored bath bombs inside the hollowed out area.

Also, this year 2020 Lush made it in the popular ‘Yummy Mummy’ shower gel scent. Its a caremelly strawberry scent made with strawberry, orange oil, and tonka bean.
In 2021 the scent is ‘The Comforter’. And the scent is Not strong at all. I was disappointed at how weak the scent is.
2020 – My favorite Lush exclusive ‘Roller’ bath bomb is in this scent too.
The Love Locket is a bit larger than regular lush bath bombs.
Primarily pink with blue accents, the tiny heart-shaped bath bombs inside are blue, yellow, green and pink.

The end result is a mauve colored, sparkly water that smells like strawberry.

I thought it would be pink/purple like last year but it was a brownish orange. Last year had glitter but this year there’s no glitter.
