Kim the Carrot

I just could not place this scent initially.

You know what really messed with my head? Well, for Easter holidays past Lush has made carrot looking bubble bars. And so when i first smelled this Kim the Carrot on my Valentine’s 2022 Haul video I. DiD. NOT. LIKE. IT.

I was expecting a natural carrot scent. All the orange carrot shaped bars that lush has made throughout the years had carrot juice in them.

Even though its not an Easter product i still expected that scent. And when i smelled the Creamy Candy scent instead-it messed me up 😅

Lush ‘Creamy Candy’ bubble bar

It smelled familiar to me but i couldnt put my fimger on what it was that i was smelling. At the time i couldnt even tell what scent it was. Creamy Candy. It’s CREAMY CANDY 😂

This is a New, limited edition bubble bar for Valentines 2022. This wasnt my favorite. I liked the other Lush Valentine’s products below alot more than this bubble bar.

.

Here’s a video i recorded for you of my bath with Kim the Carrot and you can see what it looks like when using it.

New Rose soap Valentine’s 2022

See my sink Demo Video below.

This is a new, limited edition soap that will be coming out for Valentines 2022.

I love the Lush Valentines soaps quite a bit. I’ve been buying Lush Valentines soaps every year since 2001. For the past few years Lush has reference to a Rose on their Valentines soap. This one is beautiful with a pink color and a rose carving on top in a different shade of pink. I can’t wait to see the whole extra large store display soap of this. I will take make a vid of it at the sink for you.

I would rate this a 4 out of 5 rating. If it was just a bit stronger in scent i’d give it a 5.

This soap was made with the Lush ‘Softy’ scent. It’s a beautiful light rose, orange, and ylang ylang scent. It’s a soft powdery rose with little bits of rose petals in it.

Lush has made a few items in the ‘Softy’ scent;

Christmas Hedgehog bubble bar

Noriko soap

Powder Puff Deoderant – I’m adding my pic and review of this tomorrow.

Eyeball bath bomb

Softy bath bomb

It kind of smells similar to the Lush Unicorn Horn bubble bar but with rose.

I can definitely smell the lavender in this soap, and the orange oil is nice, and it’s subtle. The ylang ylang is present too.

It’s no wonder i love this soap. At one point long ago my favorite lush bath bomb was Softy.

Noriko soap

Noriko

Ingredients: rice decoction, sake, tofu, agar decoction, perfume, ylang ylang petal oil, lavender oil, rose absolute, glycerine, sodium chloride, sodium lauryl sulfate, tetrasodium EDTA, titanium dioxide, gardenia extract, color 18050 & 61585

2001 Yuletide LT description: One of the best things to turn up on Lush’s doorstep in 2001 was Noriko from our Japanese factory with her boundless enthusiasm for creating new Lush products. She will be absolutely delighted and hugely embarrassed to find that her massive fruity soap, decorated with jellies (which she calls “jerries”) has been named after her. If you like your soap smooth, creamy, and bursting with flowers then for this one with its delicious scents of far eastern ylang ylang and calming lavender all mixed in with rice, organic tofu (soya bean curd), and sake, Japanese wine.

LT 2004 description: This handmade soap has coloured seaweed jellies on top, and the scent of orange, ylang ylang, lavender and rose. We relished the softening feeling on our skin of Noriko’s uniquely Japanese mix: rice, sake, tofu and agar seaweed.

2001 Review: The large truckle of the instore Noriko soap had “jellies” on the top of various colors. This is such a fresh and feminine scent. It reminds me of walking in a garden area of greenery and flowers, right after it rains. Noriko seems to be one of two soaps that lather more than all the other Lush soaps. The other being Milko in my opinion. You have to have this fresh because it’s a delicate scent.

Orange, Lavender, ylang ylang and rose makes this soap smell just like the “Softy” ballistic but more subtle and not rose.

2004 Review: It’s less fresh rain and more floral then the original. Lovely. Again, this needs to be tried fresh because it’s a light rain-like scent, otherwise it won’t smell like anything but soap. Other Lush products in this scent; Christmas Softy bath bomb, Hedgehog bubble bar, Powder Puff deo, Eyeball bath bomb, Valentines 2022 Rose soap.
