This bubble bar was made by Lush around 2005 to smell just like “Big Blue” bath bomb and “Sea Vegetable” soap. It smells just like the bath bomb, fresh, oceanic, slightly floral and citrussy.
This is up for the vote in for the lush kitchen box for the month of june 2023.
I don’t know why I didn’t buy it much at the time when it was a regular item in lush stores.
perhaps because I liked the other bubble bars that were out at the same time a bit more. It doesnt have as much dried seaweed in it as the big blue bomb does. To some that might be a plus. Makes loads of bubbles and It makes pretty blue water.
My original big blue scent family photo from 2006. Whats missing in the original pic is my Sea Veggie, and ‘Enchanted Island’ bath melt, I couldnt find it in my lush museum until a couple of weeks afer this photo.
Lush Times 2005 description: This mysterious blue coloured bubble bar slice is full of the best bits of the best selling Sea Vegetable Soap, so if you like that, you’ll love this. Bubbling Under has mineral-rich; skin conditioning Arame seaweed, balancing lavender and refreshing lime for a deep blue ocean experience. Its amazing fragrance makes this the perfect bubble bathing experience for the boys as well as the girls.
It’s so different than the usual Lush bubble bar scents that i’d give it a 3 and a half out of 4.
See my 2 minute Tub Demo Video towards the bottom of this page to see what it looks like 😊
This is such a pretty color of pink! Its scent is made primarily with Tonka bean. So its kind of vanilla like. It reminds of the scent of the Lush Pink Fun bar. Its not a strong scent but its not so faint that you cant smell it either.
There is no glitter in this bomb which is nice for a change.
It was one of those rolling around the tub bath bombs which is fun. The activity lasted a goid amount of time which i love.
LUSH Times, Spring 2004 description: Temptation smells like a superior sort of apple pie, fresh from the oven, spiced with a sprinkling of cinnamon and scented with a hint of orange blossom for a ‘nouvelle cuisine’ approach. Like the best sort of apple pie, we put fresh, organic apples into our Temptation soap and add a drop of uplifting myrrh essential oil. Despite its name there’s nothing sinful about it, except that it’s a bit more expensive than most of our soaps, but if we will go putting fresh apples and phenomenally expensive myrrh in it, what do you expect?
Lush Times 2003 description: Temptation is our apple pie soap made with fresh, organic apple juice and spicy cinnamon leaf oil. Apples contain organic acids which are good for stimulating sedentary people. Picture this, .Adam, get up off your backside and come over here.. .No, can’t be bothered.. .Here, have an apple then.. Temptation soap smells sharp, refreshing and spicy. Just wave it under someone.s nose when you want to tempt them into the shower with you.
Apples and cinnamon. Reminds me of Autumn and good apple cider. The big slab of temptation soap had slices of apples all over the top incase you get a piece with what looks like leaves…. It is! I don’t know why this was ever disconinued because it seemed to be such a popular soap. Everyone used to post how much they loved it. I guess they had to make room for new stuff is all I can think of. I loved this soap! It smells like a real red apple. The soap had a bit more cinnamon scent than the shower gel, otherwise they smell similar.
5 out of 5 soap

I apologize. I just could not place this scent correctly initially.
You know what really messed with my head? Well, for Easter holidays past Lush has made carrot looking bubble bars. And so when i first smelled this Kim the Carrot on my Valentine’s 2022 Haul video I. DiD. NOT. LIKE. IT.
I expected a natural carrot scent. All the irange carrot shaped bars had carrot juice in them. For years.
Even though its not an Easter product i still expected that scent. And when i smelled the Creamy Candy scent instead-it messed me up 😅 It smelled famisr to me but i couldnt out my fimger on what it was iwas smelling. At the time i couldnt even tell what scent it was. Creamy Candy. It’s CREAMY CANDY 😂
This is a New, limited edition bubble bar for Valentines 2022. It’s a new shape and a new Vanilla scent.
ETA: This is not a new vanilla scent. This is the Lush
Creamy Candy scent.
After i buy one I’ll add more info pics and video when i take a bath with it tomorrow.
Here’s a video i recorded for you of my bath with Kim the Carrot and you can see what it looks like when using it.
The ones i got from Lush Uk were more pink and the one i got from Lush usa is more red.
This is a New, limited edition bath bomb for Valentine’s 2022. Its made in the shape of a Lobster, and is made in the same scent as ‘Pink Fun’ bar. Tonka and Benzoin.
It has a soft floral scent with a bit of yumminess.
with the Lush Pink Fun bar scent.
I love the reddish pink color. Lush doesn’t have many products with this color. I love it!
This is not a fast fizzing bath bomb, it’s one of those slow, melty kind of bath bombs . I love the ones like this, and this one is extra ‘fluffy’ in the water.
Lush 2022 Description: We’re obsessed with the idea that lobsters mate for life, which is how this limited-edition lobster came to be! You’ll want to spend a lifetime with this one’s benzoin resinoid, tonka absolute, and almond oil blend that creates a sweet and cozy scent. Almond essential oil is soothing
Tonka absolute offers a decadent note

I like the fun lobster shape, i love the uncommon color, and i like the scent.
I would rate this a 5 out of 5.
How to use: Run your bath and release into the water. You’re my lobster! Fizz away with the boombastic, romantic, fantastic scent of sweet benzoin and tonka.
How to store: Keep cool and dry before you are ready to partner for life (or the duration of your bath).

5 out of 5 rating See my Sink and Tub demo Video i recorded for you Below. 😊
I’m not sure if Lush is only offering the small size of jelly this Valentine’s?
Nevertheless, i love this jelly. I think this Syrawberry Heart shower jelly is one of the best strawberry scents that lush has ever made (besides the yummy yummy yummy shower gel) . Lush says it’s a new strawberry scent. And yes i would say it is. Doesn’t smell like Yummy Yummy Yummy because there’s no geranium, no frankincense and no bergamot. It Doesn’t smell like Strawberry Twin Tub jelly either because there is no floral notes.
Give your heart this Valentine’s Day—a fresh strawberry juice-packed heart that smells as sweet as it is anatomical. All of our jellies feature glycerin and carrageenan to make them incredibly hydrating and ready to jiggle their way into your shower, while lemon, lime, ho wood, and jasmine blend perfect with strawberries for a berry delightful scent that lingers. Our clear pots are made from recycled and recyclable materials.Benefits
Fresh strawberry juice is cleansing
Citrus oils add an uplifting note
Carrageenan gives our jellies their wobble
ScentFruity | Sweet
This smells like strawberry jello. SO yummy smelling. It’s slightly sweet. I like the scent of this a lot!
This is a new, limited edition soap that will be coming out for Valentines 2022.
I love the Lush Valentines soaps quite a bit. I’ve been buying Lush Valentines soaps every year since 2001. For the past few years Lush has reference to a Rose on their Valentines soap. This one is beautiful with a pink color and a rose carving on top in a different shade of pink. I can’t wait to see the whole extra large store display soap of this. I will take make a vid of it at the sink for you.
I would rate this a 4 out of 5 rating. If it was just a bit stronger in scent i’d give it a 5.
This soap was made with the Lush ‘Softy’ scent. It’s a beautiful light rose, orange, and ylang ylang scent. It’s a soft powdery rose with little bits of rose petals in it.
It kind of smells similar to the Lush Unicorn Horn bubble bar but with rose.
I can definitely smell the lavender in this soap, and the orange oil is nice, and it’s subtle. The ylang ylang is present too.
It’s no wonder i love this soap. At one point long ago my favorite lush bath bomb was Softy.
Lush Description: Grab a dozen of these perfectly perfumed soaps for the ultimate Valentine’s Day bouquet that’ll calm, soothe and hydrate skin.
Don’t just give any flowers this Valentine’s Day? Give the gift of flowers and exquisitely-scented skin. New Rose is packed with a blend of skin-soothing ingredients like rose absolute, rice bran oil, aloe vera gel, and lavender oil to help soothe sore or irritated skin. There’s also a blend of floral oils and rose water, giving it a light, delicate scent that’s both comforting and cheery.Proudly packaging-free.Benefits
This was one of my favorite bath bombs in 2003. To me it was so soft, feminine and pretty. It was a light, beautiful Rose scent, with some yummy orange oil and floral ylang ylang.
Lush made a few other products in this same scent; Eyeball bath bomb, Christmas Hedgehog bubble bar, Powder Puff Deo powder, Noriko soap, and the Valentine 2022 ‘Rose’ soap.
Lush sold this for a few years and then discontinued it in mid to late 2000’s to make room for new bath bomb.
Softy has pieces of rose petals in it. No glitter, no bath art, but it makes a pretty pale pink water. If you don’t like bits in your bath you can put it in a kitchen strainer and let the water pour on it so that just the bath bomb part is dissolved in your bath tub.
2001 Yuletide LT description: One of the best things to turn up on Lush’s doorstep in 2001 was Noriko from our Japanese factory with her boundless enthusiasm for creating new Lush products. She will be absolutely delighted and hugely embarrassed to find that her massive fruity soap, decorated with jellies (which she calls “jerries”) has been named after her. If you like your soap smooth, creamy, and bursting with flowers then for this one with its delicious scents of far eastern ylang ylang and calming lavender all mixed in with rice, organic tofu (soya bean curd), and sake, Japanese wine.
LT 2004 description: This handmade soap has coloured seaweed jellies on top, and the scent of orange, ylang ylang, lavender and rose. We relished the softening feeling on our skin of Noriko’s uniquely Japanese mix: rice, sake, tofu and agar seaweed.
2001 Review: The large truckle of the instore Noriko soap had “jellies” on the top of various colors. This is such a fresh and feminine scent. It reminds me of walking in a garden area of greenery and flowers, right after it rains. Noriko seems to be one of two soaps that lather more than all the other Lush soaps. The other being Milko in my opinion. You have to have this fresh because it’s a delicate scent.
Orange, Lavender, ylang ylang and rose makes this soap smell just like the “Softy” ballistic but more subtle and not rose.
2004 Review: It’s less fresh rain and more floral then the original. Lovely. Again, this needs to be tried fresh because it’s a light rain-like scent, otherwise it won’t smell like anything but soap. Other Lush products in this scent; Christmas Softy bath bomb, Hedgehog bubble bar, Powder Puff deo, Eyeball bath bomb, Valentines 2022 Rose soap.
The New Lush Cosmetics ‘Luxe’ bath bomb. I just uploaded a Tub Demo of it on my lushalot youtube channel down below.
This is one of 5 new bath bombs in the U.S. and 7 in the UK
Its gorgeous in the tub holy cow. Its made with the Lush classic ‘Lust’ perfume scent. Lots of Jasmine.
How to use:
Run your bath and drop in this seductive cocktail of jasmine, vanilla and sandalwood. The hydrating boost bakuchi oil brings benefits that go way beyond bathing in this luxury bath bomb.
How to store:
Keep cool and dry until you are ready for the ultimate levelled up bathing luxury.
Did you know?
Bakuchi oil is a great natural alternative to Retinol, and has many of the same benefits such as stimulating collagen production, reducing pigmentation and promoting skin elasticity.
Its absolutely beautiful and has a different color scheme for Lush. The only reason its not a 5 out of 5 is because i have always absolutely hated the Lush ‘Lust’ scent, which Luxe is made from. 😄 But i wanted you to see how beautiful it is in the tub so..
It has the scent of ylang ylang flower, patchouli, lemongrass and Ho wood. It smells like an expensive mens cologne or something. I love the scent.
Also, the scent has somestaying power after you use it which i like.
I Would give this a high rating because its really cute, it works well without drying my skin, it smells great and the scent lasts.
Its scent is from another product that Lush made before they called themselves Lush, when they were a company called Cosmetics To Go in the 90’s. The product was called ‘Damp Squid’ and it was a bath bomb.
I still have my old pictures of my Damp Squid bath bomb.
This deliciously self-centred chocolate body wash is packed with aloe vera and glycerine to soften and hydrate delicate skin.
How to use:
Completely vegan friendly, this is a great body wash for dry skin. Scoop out a good handful and inhale the rich cocoa aroma while you work it all over your body then rinse off.
VEGAN
100% RECYCLED POT
Deliciously hydrating and softening. Thisis the best product Lush has created in quite awhile. This smells more like straight up chocolate than any of the other chocolate things that Lush has made. It does remind me of the scent of Lush Walter Bunny scrub.
I describe the texture in my video below but it feels like a chocolate mouse in thepot and feels like silk when you rub it on your body.
This is one of many products only available in the Christmas 2021 Advent Calendar gift set.
Lush Uk had a Sleepy pop up event in September October 2021 time frame. They had many exclusive Sleepy products not available in stores. This Sleepy bomb was one of them. Lush Uk decided to add it to the Christmas Advent Calendar gift set as an exclusive amongst all the other goodies in the calendar gift set.
See below for my 3 minute Tub Demo Video.
Sleepy bomb reminds me of the Lush Uk ‘Sleeping Giant’ bath bomb. I think Sleepy bomb is a miniature version of it.
This Sleepy bomb has such a gorgeous periwinkle blue color! 😍
Sleepy is a quiet, slow melting kind of bomb, not the fast fizzing type.
It looks like some kind of melting blackberry dessert doesn’t it? 😊
There’s a bit of very dark blue almost black color inside the bath bomb that’s surprising.
There are multiple colors in here, violet, lilac, black, gold. Lots of bath art opportunities 😄
The gold is actually shimmery stuff. And the gold shimmer gets dispersed in the purple water and it’s just beautiful.
I’d rate this a 5 out of 5 rating.
These aren’t like the Lush halloween 2021 products which glow under UV light. These are glow in the dark. Here is what the stars and moon look when you turn off the lights.
Some folks were asking me what these moon and stars are made out of. Many folks thought they were a bath melt as i did, but they are made out of what feels like plastic. They don’t melt.
Twilight
This above is ‘Twilight’ bath bomb sold in Lush stores. The ‘Sleepy’ bomb is the same scent. Both made with floral Ylang Ylang , Sweet creamy Tonka bean, and Bright herbal Lavendar. I asked the creator Alessandro and he stated that ‘Yes. They are the same scent’, just different names. Not complaining. I’d love to use both of these in a bath cocktail. Unfortunately there is only one in the Advent Calendar gift set.
Lush will be releasing this in November along with four other bath bombs. Ive used three or four of them so far. As i get more info on the two i havent used yet ill post it on this page.
These pics are from Lush Japan .
Bathing is believing, run your bath and drop in. With a playful perfume of bergamot, davana and jasmine, reveal your magic with this unicorn bath bomb.
This bath bomb is made with the classic Lush ‘Cocktail’ scent, and then Lush adds some strawberry to that. It’s a sweet, slightly fruity floral, with some slight earthiness. Rose, Jasmine, Ho Wood
