Sun bath oil

Video below. This bath oil Has the same orange, mandarin, tangerine, lemon, grapefruit scent as the ‘Sun’ perfume. I took a picture of both for you.
I’m so enamored with this bath oil. I have always been a fan of the Sun fragrance. It’s so cheery and joyous and yummy.
The Sun bath oil is luxurious, the gorgeous gold shimmer streaming, then dancing, in the water. When the light hits that gold shimmer, i become mesmerized. My favorite of the Lush bath oils. I would stock up on twenty of these if i could.

Lush description: Soak up the sunrise. Rays of Brazilian orange and tangerine infuse your bath!

Here’s a video i made which shows this ‘Sun” bath melt in the tub.

Pink Flamingo reusable bubble bar

See my video of Pink Flamingo below – A Sweet,  pink and fruity scent.  It has extra cocoa butter.   I love the scent although It’s not one of my favorites because I don’t  like the reusable bars as much as the regular bubble bars. gbp / $9.02

It didn’t seem to make as much bubbles as the other lush bubble bars. Maybe because of the extra cocoa butter.

I remember when it first came out at the Lush Oxford Street superstore in London.  Someone got one for me. They had so many cool things at the same time at the Oxford street store that I loved more, so this bar kind of faded into he background bit compared to the rest of the new lush products at that time because this flamingo bar came out among 100 other new products.

I’d give this a 3 out of 5 rating.

Wash That Man Out of Your Hair shower gel

3 out of 5 rating

This is made with the Lush “Cocktail” scent. 🙂  And I can totally smell that.  Yay.  I have the perfume. – It’s a Sweet floral scent with warm, earthy undertones.

Here’s a video of it where i discuss this and the other shower gels  in more detail 🙂

There’s also a Shower Sheet called “Wash That Man” which is red paper soap and has the scent of “Wash That Man Right Out Of My Hair’  shower gel .

This was made in the popular Lush Cocktail scent. It’s a sweet, floral scent with earthy undertones. The cocktail scent goes back to the days of B Never Too Busy To Be Beautiful store days for Lush.

Here are some more recent things that Lush has made in the same cocktail scent.

Cosmetics To Go (Lush before they were called Lush)

Sept 1, 2015

I won a trip to Lush Headquarters in Poole, England last year. It was from Mark Constantine, Owner and creator of Lush Cosmetics to thank me for some help i gave the writer of the Lush book (Danger: Cosmetics To Go) some help i gave them for some ctg products. I had a lot of ctg products in my Lush stash.

It was a magical trip, a dream come true.  And I recorded a lot of video for you all.

I’m building this page, organizing all my cosmetics to go product photos that i’ve taken throughout the years.  I will also have scans of the Cosmetics To Go catalogs here. 🙂 I’m building a list of Cosmetics To Go products from their Catalogs, with product photos, background  and ingredients info.

I still have an array of items from Lush founders’ previous company “Cosmetics To Go” (CTG), inwhich i’ve made a video of.  This is the video that won the Lush contest and which led to a Lushie dream come true.  I’ve collected them throughout the years.

Many years ago the owners of Lush were kind of enough to send me all of his original press Cosmetic To Go catalogs, dating from 1993-1996,   still wrapped in their original sealed plastic packages.

The products they made were To Die.  If you think Lush is great you should see these!

In the meantime, enjoy this video below. 🙂

Here is my (signed by the author Mira Manga) copy of the book, available now at Lush stores near you and online at lush.co.uk or lush.com

heres a video I recorded of a vintage catalog
I made a video of this edition today, here it is..

Lush site description: Sweet oranges, tangerine and lemon essential oils & a gleaming golden glow to put a smile on your face.

This is like swimming in orange juice, real orange juice not fake neon orange smelling and orange colored drink. It’s seemed to be almost thick and rich with ochre colored shimmer. It makes very fragrant water. The bar is an ochre color throughout. There is a lot of glitter left in the tub after the water has drained. It looks like tan colored sand but if you look closer and in the light, it’s all golden glitter. So pretty.

Here’s what the water looked like

I give this a 5 out of 5 rating.

Lush Spa

I was treated to a Synaethesia Spa treatment when I won the trip to England to visit the founders of lush, the factory tour, kitchen tour, etc.

Synaethesia is a neurological phenomenon in which stimulation of one sensory or cognitive pathway leads to automatic, involuntary experiences in a second sensory or cognitive pathway.  People who report such experiences are known as synesthetes. In one common form of synesthesia, known as  color-graphemic synesthesia, letters or numbers are perceived as inherently colored. In spatial-sequence, or number form.  Numbers, months of the year, and/or days of the week elicit precise locations in space (for example, 1980 may be “farther away” than 1990), or may appear as a three-dimensional map (clockwise or counterclockwise)

I’ve been to many spas, really fabulous spas, and though they were awesome, they were nothing like a Lush spa Treatment.

They’ve catered to our imaginations.  Everything is color, scent, states of being, fantasy, Transformations.

Much, much more than getting a great body and head massage with a facial and quiet serene music and low light surroundings.

In Lush spas.  They compose songs  to go with your spa treatment.  They’ve brought musicians (Simon Emmerson), singers, to weave beautiful sounds.  And you’re surround by sound, not just music piped through a speaker system.

Bottles and Bottles of colored liquids, looking like potions, and lit up with light, line the shelves of the front greeting area.

A huge bathtub and shower area with every lush product imaginable to use.

Rose scented bubbles flying around the room.

The massage therapists were trained to do their massage movements in flow with the music, long, gentle strokes, and wrote the music to match.

You can hear birds, the gentle cooing seemingly right next to you.  You can *Hear* the sun going down.  I won’t try to explain that one.

My photos and lush photos of the Lush Spas is coming soon, as soon as I finish entering the new 2015 lush Oxford Street items here.

Lush ‘B Never Too Busy To Be Beautiful’ store 2005-2009

This is where the Lush fragrances;  1000 Kisses, Cocktail, B scent, Ladyboy, Breath of God, etc. came from.  If Lush were a young girl, these B Never products seemed to belong to the Lush’s bigger sister.    I loved the pretty, more ornate packaging.  Lush were able to bring back some of their “Cosmetics To Go’ products at b Never.  Things like “Dirty’, their makeup, and their bath products were reminiscent of their former “Cosmetics to go’ products.  Many of today’s Lush products have fragrances from this store, such as “Beautiful’ shower gel, and “Wash That Man’ shower gel.   Read more below to see all of the products they made.

Lush owned a company in London called “B Never Too Busy To Be Beautiful’.  The products were available online from the lush.co.uk site from 2005 – 2009.  And i still have an array of items from  ‘B Never Too Busy To Be Beautiful’ in my lush museum.  I’ve added the below info and photos and have much more to add here and will be adding to this page more and more.

Below i took some photos of my makeup brush set from B Never. They had different colored metal beading on them. And a gold leather folding case with black velvet lining.

My photo below shows 3 bottles of perfume that Lush were selling at their 29 High Street store when Lush flew me out there in 2014. I ran over to the display because i recognized these B Never perfumes and i was glad that Lush remade them and brought them back for customers at this store. So i grabbed these three. Lush has since made a few of their products in the mid and late 2015-2021 in these scents.

You’ll find some items from Lush Oxford Street 2015 were derived from their ‘B Never” products of 2005-2009.

I saved a few catalogs and will be showing pics and videos of them. I’ll also be adding all my photos of each product so that eventually you’ll be able to click on the product names in the list below and see the photos and info for that product.

I’ve made a video of these products on Youtube.
