Tisty Tosty

4 out of 5 rating . See my 2 minute video demo and review video of this below.

There are three different looks that this bath bomb has had over the years. The original white Tisty Tosty from 1999-2013

The Giant one in 2017

The Pink one in 2018

The current 2021 bomb is white and has a quite carved into it which says: ‘I choose to love myself just as I am.’

Tisty Tosty has a unique floral scent. Made with Rose, orris root (from violet) and jasmine. Lush has had this bath bomb for years. It is a classic, something that you can buy for a friend, a mom, a sister, anyone you know who needs cheering up or who is celebrating something. It’s the perfect Lush bomb to get when you don’t know what to get. The original version was very light in scent. In 2005 Lush tweaked their recipe a bit and added more rose oils to the scent. So now it’s even better. What’s not to love.

The return of a Lush classic for Valentine’s day. A sensual bundle of rosebuds and folklore. Be enamoured with this medieval love potion in bloom.

How to use:
Run a bath and drop in this captivating combination of rose, orris root powder and lemon for a gentle relaxing soak.

How to store:
Keep cool and dry until ready to feel love’s embrace.

The Pink one below was exclusive to the Lush Kitchen from 2018.

Shipping Weight: 95gs

Ingredients: Sodium Bicarbonate,

Here’s a video demo i made of this in the tub

Lush 2006 Description: Each Tisty Tosty has a bunch of seven real rosebuds encased it its rose scented, heart shaped, white body. As it fizzes in your warm bath and the buds float to the bath’s surface, they release their magic love spell that we weave when we hand-make each batch. The fragrant rose (not to be confused with those huge, fluffy things with no scent) is surrounded with mystery and legend; it is said to have come from the Great Garden of ancient Persia; Cleopatra is rumoured to have seduced Anthony with it. Rose perfume is said to ease tension and stress and to give people happy, positive feelings (which is probably why it worked for Cleopatra). Give it away to someone you love or keep it for yourself; either way the Tisty Tosty works its magic spell.

Here’s the giant one below.

Green and Gold

I was lucky enough to have a kind person buy one for me while she was there so I could pay her back and she sent it to me, along with a couple of other Lush soaps from Oxford Street. I have a sink demo video of Green and Gold soap below.

4 out of 5 rating.   See my demo and review video of this soap below.

This smells just like the Avobath bath bomb or even the you’ve been mangoed bath oil. It has lemongrass and it smells so wonderful.

The Green and Gold soap display in the Lush Oxford Street superstore

Green and Gold was only sold at the Lush Oxford Street superstore from 2014-2017

It was a beautiful soap with green around the outside and strips of gold too. Inside the soap was a yellowish gold color. In the stores the whole soap were long cylindrical poles, so Lush would cut customers a 100g piece off of the giant long piece. Unless you wanted to buy the whole soap.

Here’s a video demo i did of this soap

Cream of Tomato Soap

In the photo above you can see that the large, whole truckles of soap are somewhat cylindrical. And Lush would cut a chunk however big or small you wanted.

Tomatoes are full of antioxidants including vitamin C. This property of tomatoes makes them a great fruit for anti-ageing. The acidity in tomatoes helps in reducing and clearing your acne.

In my photo below are three lush soaps clockwise from the left: ‘Zen’ soap, ‘Cream of Tomato’ soap, and ‘Green and Gold’ soap.

This was actually nice smelling and it did smell like tomatoes. I never thought tomatoes smell good but..

In my photo below the cream of tomato is on the upper right next to the box.

It’s a natural scent, not too strong. It was kind of creamy and seemed to be a tiny bit more moisturizing than other Lush soaps.

In my photo below it’s in the lower right.

2015 5.95 gbp
Ingredients: Kaolin, sodium bicarb, moringa powder, lycopodium powder, benzoin resin, geranium oil, bay oil, bergamot.

Lush description: Oral Pleasure- They’ll blow you away.
Passionfruit and electric daisies make this just the job for mouthwatering brushing.

I like these ‘Oral Pleasure’ tooth tablets. So far there hasn’t been any new toothy tabs that I don’t like. Oral Pleasure has a good taste, though there are some folks who prefer other of the new toothy tabs. I think it taste like sweet tarts candy. I think all of the new toothy tabs do. And the tingling feeling, it’s mild but it is noticeable. Odd feeling, good taste, if that makes sense.

Lord of Misrule shower cream

5 out of 5 rating

See my up close (to show the glitter) sink demo video of it belowThis image has an empty alt attribute; its file name is img_4802.jpg

One of the lush shower gels which came here to North America September 18, 2015.  These 3  shower gels including Lord of Misrule, Don’t Rain on my Parade, and Beautiful,  debuted at lush new “Superstore” on Oxford Street in London.

This shower cream is a more moisturizing, creamy shower gel, in the popular Lord of Misrule fragrance.  Black pepper, vanilla and patchouli.  This is a nice way of having the LOM scent.  There are also two more Oxford street new products having this same scent (see Aliens and Monsters fun bar), LOM find the gap bar,  and Rough With the Smooth bar, as well as the Lord of Misrule bath bomb, and the LOM perfume.   Just for fun I made a photo of all these together (below). This image has an empty alt attribute; its file name is img_4801-1.jpg

It’s called a shower cream instead of a shower gel because it has extra moisturizing properties such as wheatgerm oil, etc.

I love this.  I’ve even washed my hair with this.  Because the scent stays a good long time on my skin or hair.

Below are two pictures i took of the scent family products.

Frozen

OMG what a gorgeous bath bomb!  See my short video clip of it below. This shares it's beautiful scent with Lush "Happy Happy Joy Joy" and a couple of other lush products.

Review: The fragrance of this bath bomb surprised me.  I thought because it was called “Frozen” it might be minty.  Instead this is a Gorgeous floral with citrus notes.  It has the lscent as Lush “Happy Happy Joy Joy” shampoo, “shine so bright”.  It has silver shimmer in the water which does leave an ever so light sheen on the skin after the bath. The water is an incredible bright sky blue color.

Lush description:  Let it go – This magical blend of uplifting grapefruit, tunisian neroli, rose oil.

Bling! toothy tabs

See my video demo below
2015 5.95 gap
Orange and Frankincense

I like the taste of these particular toothy tabs called ‘Bling!’  It’s nice and orange, like a real orange.  Even though there is gold powder on these it doesn’t get your mouth filled with gold dust glitter.  In face when you rinse your mouth after brushing, it’s all gone, just the taste remains. 🙂  These are my favorite tasting of the new shimmery toothy tabs.

Intergalactic

See the 3 minute video (below) i made of this stupefying color of water.

Lush description:  Blast off into Funky-This awesome mix will have you hooked on a feeling.  Be the guardian of a galaxy as it explodes in your bath.

5 out of 5 rating.  This is minty smelling, and the dark blue color of the water, and the sparkliness of the water makes my bath look like a galaxy.  A bath bomb can’t get any better than this.

Here’s an even bigger version of Intergalatic bath bomb, made for the Lush uk annual creative showcase event.

This has popping candy, peppermint oil, grapefruit oil, cedarwood oil, and vetivers oil.

tub.

Here’s a link to a video i made of the Intergalactic in the water, GORGEOUS shimmer at the very end 🙂

Yoga Bomb

see my tub demo video below 😊

This is quite lovely in the tub, having many colors like a rainbow, ultimately turning the bath a golden hue.

Lush catalog description:  Take it Slow.Find sanctuary in slow, unfurling layers of deeply relaxing olibanum and ho wood.cassie absolute, olibanum, ho wood oil, sandalwood, shimmer lustre.

3.75 gap / $5.65

Here’s a video i made of the Yoga Bomb in the tub

I love the meditative scent, the rainbow of colors and the golden shimmer in the water. I would buy more than one of these, so i would rate this bath bomb a 5 out of 5 rating.

Yuzu and Cocoa

I LOVE this fragrance. As I understand it, Lush doesn’t actually use the fruit yuzu in here.  Instead they use a combination of fruits to attain a Yuzu similarity.   Regardless of whether there is yuzu fruit in this or not, I love the scent.  The cocoa in this is like a light whiff of cocoa. It’s as if i’m smelling a container of powdered cocoa, mixed with the fruity yuzu. It’s wonderful.  This and Lord of Misrule are my top fave shower gels/creams from Lush Oxford Street.

The yuzu is a citrus fruit and plant originating in East Asia. It is believed to be a hybrid of sour mandarin and Ichang papeda. WikipediaFotolia_49130893_Subscription_Monthly_XXLThis opaque yellow shower cream has the same beautiful, lightly fruity/powdery cocoa fragrance as in their in store ‘Yuzu and Cocoa’ bubble bar (it looks like a macaron), which is the same color as the fruit itself as you can see in the photo above.

In my shower gel rotation it’s yuzu and cocoa that remains a constant presence in my shower, never leaving while I rotate two others, so that I always have three shower gels in my shower. I rotate shower gels often as I have a ridiculous amount of shower gels.

Here’s a video i made showing this shower cream in more detail.

Lava Lamp

4 out of 5 rating

See my video demo of this close up in the tub below.

Oh man, this smells SO good.  Triple orange, Lush says.  Fresh, but slightly sweet. If i were a fair skinned person i would be prepared for some discoloration, from the purple olive oil discs.  But the little blue cocoa butter buttons are moisturizing enough to not have to scrub too hard to get it off.

Lush description:  Groovy baby!  Bobbing orbs and a triple whammy of orange takes your senses back in time.

Orange flower absolute, tangerine oil, mandarin orange oil, fair trade cocoa butter.

Here’s a video i made of the Lava Lamp in the tub, it’s quite cool looking.

Washaccino Showder

5 out of 5 rating. See my demo and review video below.

I absolutely LOVE this showder (shower powder) the foaming feels decadent, the smell is yummy!

I loved all the showers but the washaccino (cappuccino) and the lemon were my favorite.

This was exclusive to the Oxford Street superstore in London for about a year.

Here’s a video i made of the Washaccino Showder up close and i wash my hands with it so you can see how it looks.

Below is a photo i took of four of the five Lush showders. They’re all the same consistency and work the same EXCEPT the Life’s a Beach.

Sacred Lotus

5 out of 5 rating

See my video demo below of this close up in the tub so that you can see the shimmer.

Having Tonka, Jasmine and Neroli, this gorgeous bath bomb epitomizes the “too pretty to use” bath bomb. Looking like a lovely lotus flower,  I was pleasantly surprised at the lovely combination of jasmine floral and lovely orangey neroli, with the creamy, vanillary note of tonka bean.

I have not had any Lush products with the combination of Jasmine, tonka and neroli.  It’s so fragile, that if anyone is having it sent from the UK to the US, it almost always ends up broken.  But that’s the risk we take to get our Lush frenzy quelled.  In this case it was SO worth it.

I find this to be such a gorgeous scent.  It’s one of the stronger scented fragrances.  I normally don’t like alot of jasmine, and i typically don’t like orange blossom.  However, this scent is just gorgeous. I give this bath bomb a 5 out of 5 rating.
