This is a remake of a discontinued but very long running bath bomb.
It was actually made and sold before Lush was called Lush, back when they were a company called ‘Cosmetics To Go’. Back tgen it was wrapped in black and hsd a fuse hanging out, making it look just like a tiny TNT bomb.
Recently, in December 2018 Lush uk (who own Lush Japan) opened a new Lush concept store in the Harajuku area of Japan.
In this store Lush are making 35+ new bath bombs exclusive to this store. However, Lush Uk has offered 11 of them to anyone who can regularly order from their online retail site at lush.co.uk including us here in the USA. Blackberry Bomb is one of these 11 exclusive, limited time bath bombs.
I stock up on this bomb. It would be perfect if it was a slower fizzing bomb with glitter and a bit more multi-colored bath art. Nitpickiness on my part. That’s the only reason this isn’t a 5.
Blackberry bomb has a fruity scent. It smells berryish; hence the name Blackberry.
It doesnt have blackberry in it. It does have bergamot and frankincense in it. In addition to smelling fruity It also smells perfume-y. That’s from the frankincense. i like frankincense because it reminds me of christmas incense.
Gotta love that purple water.
Here is a photo ive taken with allthe Lush products made throughout the years with the same scent.
2006 Lush Times description: The Blackberry Bath Bomb has a deliciously fruity scent, seasoned with a smattering of frankincense, traditionally used to relieve nervous tension, calm stress and to help you cut ties with the past. Bergamot essential oil is said to inspire confidence and relieve depression. Why not use one to blast all the negativity, whish is topping you from getting out there and getting on with it? Use our happy blackberry bombs in the morning to blow away sad thoughts and launch you into a bright new day full of unlimited potential. It’s the season to pick one.

This is such a very different scent. It’s like cacophony of notes but somehow they work together!
figs, ginger, cinnamon, grapefruit, vodka and honey.
it’s both fruity and spicy. i’ll be buying the christmas body spray.
Lush made the ‘Elf on a Shelf‘ FUN multi purpose bar with the same scent.
The Lush Christmas bath bomb ‘Elf Bomb Bomb’ has this scent also.

Here’s a demo video I made of Jilted Elf jelly being silly.
Lush Times: Jilted Elf takes an alcoholic stumble around your shower, leaving wafts of fruit cocktails as he goes.
Wash away the old and welcome in the new with our bright green, wobbly foaming shower jelly that’s named after a cocktail we saw for sale in New York. With an infusion of figs, honey and seaweed gel to soften your skin and make you silky to the touch. Then to make you smell intoxicating and irrisistable, we have a multi-layered sophisticated fruity Christmas cocktail fragrance of vodka and essential oils, including cinnamon leaf oil, grapefruit oil and ginger oil.
Our Jilted Elf can never be kept down. He looks towards a fine future that is full of promise, his little inner twinkle of gold shines out, no matter how tough going the festive season gets. Grab him and drag him into a shower near you for the most fun shower you’ve had in a long while.

Here is my five minute video review of Frozen liquid perfume.
This is SO beautiful in the bath, beautiful surprises. This gets prettier as it melts away. What a knockout color when it melts. It looks so elegant, but when it’s in the water WOW. Purple heaven. It has the wonderfully spicy lavender and ginger scent. It was very moisturizing to my skin.
The lavender also promotes sleep.
I will definitely be buying more of these gorgeous things.
I can use them when i want to take ‘clearing my energy’ kind of a bath.

I made a 2 minute video demo below for Lush Oxford Street ‘Dreamtime’ bath oil. It has the same wonderful lavender scent as the refgular current ‘dreamtime’ bath melt.
My photos below show the original look of Lush Dreamtime.
Here’s a video demo/review i made of these Limelight toothy tabs.
Lush description: Make an Entrance
All the worlds a stage. Get ready for your big moment with super citrusy lime oil.
This has lime, lemon and almond oil. The shimmery green color is pretty. While these were pleasant, they’re not my favorite of the 5 new Lush toothy tabs debuting first at Lush Oxford Street store. As i said in my video it’s not bad, it’s not fabulous, but somewhere in the middle. I didn’t taste as much lime as i thought i would considering the tastiness of the other toothy tabs i’ve tried. Still it made my mouth feel squeaky clean.
Here’s a video demo i made of Limelight toothy tabs. See my other toothy tab demos: Bling, Oral Pleasure, Tooth Fairy, Miles of Smiles.

I roll each color together to get a swirled pice like this. Then i cut them into 1 inch round pieces. Then i can use a round piece for the shower, and one in my soap dish at the sink. And it looks all swirly colored and pretty.
Here’s a video demo i did of Santa Fun bar, showing the various ways you can use it.

This soap has thyme, sage and currants, and the fragrance is new, having myrrh, rosewood and opopomax. Tangy, fruity, herbal, earthy… I can’ stop sniffing this soap. The myrrh and the rosewood combo is calming to me. There’s a tiniest iota of sweetness from the myrrh, just enough to make it intriguing. Old school Lushies may like the earthy, blending of resinous, herbal, floral notes. I think of this as having a gender-neutral scent,
Lush description: It’s the time of the year for lathering earthy and herbal fresh sage and thyme infusion with festive, juicy redcurrants over skin. This mystical soap with precious myrrh resinoid is sure to set the cogs in motion to take you from Christmas into the new year in style.

5 out of 5 ratingLush Times Xmas 2008: Helen Ambrosen’s new favourite thing is to make Shower Jellies in individual moulds, as well as huge wobbly ones. Like our big blocks of Shower Jellies, you can put the individual ones in the fridge or the freezer to give yourself a shock in the shower. Lovely and cooling for hot days, and cheaper than a plunge pool. Ghost unfolds into a shape-shifting ethereal blob, looking a but like Munich’s painting, The Scream. Despite his slightly scary appearance, he softens and calms your skin as he gets you clean. You can either slap him all over your body to make a lather, or detach a little chunk of him and rub it fast and firmly between your hands for a creamy froth. You can use him to wash your hair because his seaweed gel is really good for turning tangles into luscious locks. Wash all over and just like Mr. Ghostie, you’ll be wafting scents of lilies, jasmine and ylang around after you all day. Grab him now before he drifts away…
Ingredients: Glycerine, Fresh Dove Orchid, Perfume, Carrageenan Extract, Jasmine Absolute, Ylang Ylang Oil, Neroli
Ghost is a floral fragrance made with dove orchid, lilies, and other flowers. The fragrance stays on the skin awhile which is good.
The jelly is so cute in the shape of a ghost. You have to turn ithe whole jelly over when you take it out to see it.

I like the original floating island bath melt pictured below and i wish they would have kept that style instead of this one. That one was more foamy and creamy. However, i will say that this new bath oil style is more moisturizing than the original cupcake style Floating Island.
Floating Island has a lemon and sandalwood scent. It’s the same scent as the lush bath melt of the same name. Lush also made a shower smoothie with this scent called “Whitewash”. The scent in this bath oil is stronger, really nice. It’s a subtle scent though, don’t expect a big bold fragrance. Very very moisturizing to my skin in the bath. This is great for people with dry skin.

A round, solid bath oil. Since April 2015 this has only been available if you lived in London and could go to the new Oxford Street ‘superstore’. Now it is available on the lush.co.uk site for anyone to buy no matter what country we live in.
This bath oil wss discontinued a few years later, along with 20 other bath oils at the same time. 🤷🏽♀️
