Violet Cream bubble bars

This is a new bubble bar for Mother’s Day 2021. Mother’s Day comes earlier in Europe than it is here in the U.S.

I think that, because of the remarkable design of it, and the lovely sweet violet scent, this is one of the best bubble bars Lush has made in years.

It’s a regular squishy bubble bar, not a reusable.

It’s just like a cream violet, it’s even got some cream in the middle.

Even though there is a mesmerizing green-blue colored glitter on the outside, this bar doesn’t make glittery water, in case you were curious.

Thi bar is worthy of my buying six more of them.

I’ll keep them in my dark closet or my dark lingerie drawer so the color stays as long as possible and i’ll keep them in something air tight so they don’t harden up.

These are only available for a limited time basis, just for Mother’s Day 2021.

This bubble bar makes lots of creamy bubbles.

Lush How to use suggestions:
Crumble under running water and allow the uplifting violet and bergamot scented bubbles to build on top of skin-softening lilac waters.
Smell familiar? This bubble bar shares a scent with our Daddy-o shampoo and conditioner range.

Lush How to store suggestions:
Like any soft-centred treat, keep cool and dry until the moment of indulgence and feel good knowing the rose absolute is sourced from our regenerative rose projectin Pakistan.

Strawberry Twin Tub

5 out of 5

Ingredients: Sodium Laureth Sulfate, Glycerine, Spring Water (Aqua), Coconut (Cocos nucifera) and Vanilla Pod (Vanilla planifolia) Infusion, Propylene Glycol, Fresh Strawberries (Fragaria vesca), Perfume, Carrageenan Extract, Benzoin Resinoid (Styrax benzoin), Jasmine Absolute (Jasminum officinale), Geranium Oil (Pelargonium crispum), *Cinnamal, *Citral, *Eugenol, *Geraniol, *Benzyl Benzoate, *Citronellol, *Limonene, *Linalool,
Colour 18050, Methylparaben. * Occurs naturally in essential oils

Lush 2005 description: We’ve finally given in to pressure and made a strawberry shower gel, but as we’re Lush, there’s no way it was going to resemble anyone else’s synthetic strawberry products. For starters, ours has real strawberries in it, plus immensely expensive, soothing jasmine essential oil and sweetly scented geranium. You don’t get those in your chain store bottled stuff, oh no! Strawberry Twin Tub was inspired by the need to keep a couple of young twins quiet at bath time. Buy two, and let them throw wobbly jellies at each other until they’re nice and clean and ready for bed. (Adults may do the same thing, if they like.)

Review: This jelly was made by Lush to smell like their discontinued bubble bar called “Two Timing Tart”. The jelly is a nice balance of fruity and floral. This was made by Lush UK for another mom of twins “Twinmum” from the International forum.

Here’s a demonstration video i did of this jelly

Tantric Energy

4 or 5 out of 5 rating. See my 3 minute close up sink demo of how it works, and i describe what scent family it’s scent is in the video below.

I love it. I wish it were a wee bit more moisturizing. But its near perfrct, im just being nitpicky lol. I love this product. I think evetyone should try it.

Sleepy shower bomb

Wow. I’m going to give this a 5 out of 5.

Its not gimmicky, its a creamy foam consistency.

I pressed very hard on it when it was wet and it didn’t budge.  It’s not a ‘smooshy’ consistency. It’s firm, but what comes off of it slowly is foam.  It’s kind of like washing with the foam of a bath bomb, one of the creamier frothier bath bombs though.

This is nothing like their body conditioners, there’s no slippery, or goopy stuff in here.  No cocoa butter,  no oils.

Nor is this at all like their naked shower gels.

It doesn’t feel like it has cocoa butter in it (it doesn’t), and it smells good. It’s not too faint of a scent, but its not necessarily the strongest scented product either.

Its made with the Twilight scent.

It seems like one could certainly get multiple showers with this.  At LEAST two, maybe more.

I do a wet demo of this in my video below both in the shower and at the sink.

Lemon bubble brush

3 out of 5 rating

Lemon bubble brush is one of three new re-usable style bubble bars from Lush. While i dont normally like the reusables as much as Lush regular squishy bubble bars, these new bubble brushes are fun to use!

This is the yellow bubble brush new for 2018. Unlike its blue and pink counterparts this one smells lemony. It has the same scent as Lush ‘Lemslip’ buttercream. Its made with lime, and sweet orange oil.

It’s not very sweet. In fact i wish it were more sweet. And honestly, i wish it smelled stronger.

It leaves a bright, sunny yellow hue to the bath water.

I like to blend it with the blue bubble brush sometimes.

I like the mint and candy bubble brushes more than this yellow lemon one because the scents and colors are nicer to me. Just a personal preference.

I liked using it but i wouldn’t necessarily buy another one. Whereas i would buy anothrr blue one.

Ready to brush up on your art skills? Who said bathing had to be boring?

Whether you’re already a seasoned artist or just like to paint by numbers, these new #BathArt reusable bubble brushes from Lush’s artful splodges are sure to make a Big Splash in your bathroom.

Take your brush and hold under running water to get the bubbles going. When the bath is covered in a blanket of bubbles your canvas awaits! Dip the brush into the water before gliding it over the foam, dip, and flick, stroke, and splash, then sit back and relax as you admire your masterpiece. It might be abstract, it might be modern, it might be a load of Pollocks but whatever it is it’s bound to make a good impression!

On your marks, get set, Gogh!

The Ex Factor

5 out of 5 rating

The Lush Ex Factor bath bomb was made for Valentine’s on a limited edition basis one year. And they hadn’t made it again since. I voted for it when i saw it was up for the vote again for the Lush February 2022 Subscription box.

Im so glad it won the vote.

The name has two meanings; The showv X Factor, and a voodoo doll of your Ex.

😊

The Ex Factor ath bomb was made with the Lush Butterball bath bomb scent. It’s a buttery, bakery like smell. Sometimes it smells like chocolate to me.

4 out of 5 rating.  See my Tub Demo Video below

Ingredients: Sodium Bicarbonate, Citric Acid, Synthetic Musk, Ylang Ylang Oil, Water (Aqua), Propylene Glycol, Perfume, Colour 42090, Colour 14700, Colour 17200, Colour 45410}

Lush Sweet, vanilla-scented voodoo for spurned lovers. The Ex Factor Ballistic is an antidote to the usual Valentine’s Day sweetness and a celebration of our darker, more cynical side. It has the same vanilla-musk scent as our creamy Butterball, but it turns the water a deep, calming blue. Dip the little fellow in, limb by limb, until he has dissolved. It’s especially fun if you have an appetite for revenge and need some closure.

I love this bath bomb.  Not only is it made to look like a voodoo doll, but it’s made with the soft and creamy butterball bath bomb scent but it’s a beautiful blue color and it’s very original and different than other Lush bath bombs.

This is one of those Lush bath bombs that fizz very fast, with a great asmr noise and it dissolves fast.  Makes the end water a beautiful blue color.
