I’m not one for Candyish Lush scents, not at all, except when it comes to Snow Fairy. I am just nuts about this gel at times, it’s scent is just something I’ve got to have once in a while. It’s scent is buttery, rich, candyish…almost raspberryish and a small hit of fruitiness. It has a shimmer of pink and fushia sparkles.
Lush 2006 Description: Candy floss pink and sweet as sugar with iridescent sparkles and a hint of wicked fruitiness….
Here are a couple of video demos and reviews i made of both versions of this Lush shower gel and you can see them up close and how they work
Lush Times: GRAB YOUR PARTNER…It has a soothing extract of fresh rose petals, moisturising cocoa and shea butters, and a seductive violet scent that flirts with sensuality. It’s a massage experience that will do all the work for you. Grab the bar, dim the lights, and tuca tuca! After the song inspired such raucous enthusiasm, it seemed almost absurd not to have a Tuca Tuca Massage Bar to get people touching each other.
It’s the same scent as Lush ‘Violet Nights’ bath oil
Everything in my picture below, except the ultraviolet bubble bar and the kerbside violet perfume are in the same scent family as tuca tuca.
Below is my pic of a bottle of Violet Nights from 1993, when Lush were called ‘Cosmetics To Go’.
Lush made this in the same blend as their popular liquid hair conditioner ‘American Cream’.
It smells like a vanilla milk shake. ย It’s only slightly sweet.
Review: This solid pink jelly has the scent of Lush’s “American Cream” hair conditioner. It smells even better than the hair conditioner in my opinion. I can actually smell the strawberry which isn’t as easy to pick out in the conditioner. Vanilla, lavender, sage, smells like a fresh milkshake.
Lush description: Vanilla and Clary sage shower jelly with a scent that makes people want to lick you all over. Freeze it, chill it, use it at bathroom temperature. Crush or stroke it all over your body and hair, lather and rinse out.
This American Cream boy lotion smells just like the American Cream hair conditioner. A some bit of vanilla and some bright lavender and herby sage.

Here’s my demo video below of Lover Lamp Valentine’s Day 2016 bath bomb in the bath tub.
Look, this might be coming on too strong, but it seems like you should get the hots for Fair Trade organic cocoa butter. Melting into an amorous embrace of softening water, butter hearts coat skin in heavenly moisture. In a whirl of chocolate orange notes, Fair Trade vanilla absolute and Brazilian orange oil whisper sweet nothings that lift your mood. Their scent lingers in your mind and on your skin all day long.
Lush description: Follow yonder star all the way to the bathroom; it will bear exotic gifts of Fair Trade Ugandan vanilla
from the Mountains of the Moon and precious rosewood from the depths of the Peruvian rainforest.
A twinkly dip in its starlit waters gives a bergamot-powered boost to the mind and body – ideal
for a little post-party recovery.
$5.25 US / ยฃ4.95 UK
While this bath bomb doesn’t lend fantastic colors in the tub, it makes a lovely white sparkle in the water. The scent has vanilla but it’s not a ‘bakery-like’ vanilla scent. It’s brightened up a bit with the addition of bergamot, and the rosewood keeps it grounded. It’s more of a ‘pretty’ scent than a foody one to my nose. I wouldn’t rush out and buy four more but.. i might buy one more to enjoy.
I enjoyed it.
Here’s a video demo i made of the Stardust bath bomb
Such a yummy scent
I don’t know if this necessarily smells like Egg Nog, but it is yummy. The smell reminds me of Creme Brulee. That kind of carmalised sugar smell. It’s not drying, nor is it moisturizing, it’s somewhere in the middle. I like to use this soap in a bath with Yog Nog Fun bar for bubbles, and a Butterball bath bomb. Scrumptious!
Other Lush Items in this Yog Nog scent are
Yog Nog bath bomb
Yog Nog liquid perfume
Yog Nog solid perfume
Yog Nog Fun bar

Lush Description:ย Every year we give our best selling Creamy Candy Bar bubble bar a special outfit for Xmas. ย Last year it was in the shape of a cane, this year weโve turned it into a little swirly mountain peak.ย But whatever the shape and look, the thing that never changes is that lovely vanilla and candy floss smell and the mountains of soft bubbles. When the busy season has exhausted you, the hoards of shoppers have pushed and shoved you, and you think you canโt take any more – lie back in a Candy Mountain bath and feel its sweet and comforting hug.
Other things in this scent are (I’ll enter them all here soon)
Creamy Candy bubble bar
Creamy Candy bath melt
Creamy Candy body lotion

Candy Cane bubble bar
Here’s another version of Candy Mountain bubble bar, same scent different look.
A shower scrubbing powder or ‘Showder’ as Lush calls it. It’s a dry shower scrub of calamine powder and sugar. This one has the Lush Snowfairy or Candyfluff scent. Its made with vanilla but it also has a bright, fruity smell. Very sweet.
The first time I saw this on the shelves at the first Lush superstore at Oxford Street on opening day in 2014. I thought it was the cutest product ever. I thought it was such a cute design, it looks like a box of laundry soap. I had to have one. A kind young woman got it for me and sent it to me here in the U.S.
Even though theyre all empty now, i still display them. ๐
Also, Lush had four other showders. One not in the picture below was called ‘Dirty Deal’, which was rose colored and turned purple when the water hit it. So. Freakin. Cool.
My favorite showder however was the ‘Washaccino’. The lemon was great too. The life’s a Beach was my least favorite, it was the only one of the four that was made with beach sand as the base, too scrathcy, whereas the others have a powdery soft texture. They all lather. The washaccino is the lather..iest. And It like washing with silk.
Here’s a video i made of using the Candy Floss Showder on my arm at the sink.

One of the lush shower gels which came here to North America September 18, 2015. ย These 3 ย shower gels including Lord of Misrule, Don’t Rain on my Parade, and Beautiful, ย debuted at lush new “Superstore” on Oxford Street in London.
This shower cream is a more moisturizing, creamy shower gel, in the popular Lord of Misrule fragrance.ย Black pepper, vanilla and patchouli.ย This is a nice way of having the LOM scent.ย There are also two more Oxford street new products having this same scent (see Aliens and Monsters fun bar), LOM find the gap bar, ย and Rough With the Smooth bar, as well as the Lord of Misrule bath bomb, and the LOM perfume. ย Just for fun I made a photo of all these together (below).
ย
It’s called a shower cream instead of a shower gel because it has extra moisturizing properties such as wheatgerm oil, etc.
I love this. ย I’ve even washed my hair with this. ย Because the scent stays a good long time on my skin or hair.

Below are two pictures i took of the scent family products.

Original Lord of Misrule bath bomb 2014-2021
This is the product that started the whole “Lord of Misrule” craze. It’s hard to describe this one.ย I can smell the black pepper and then a yummy creamy vanilla note, like the Lord of Misrule himself, full of discord and disorderly conduct. At once lushious and treacherous.ย It’s so so different, and it’s addictive.
Slightly sweet and yummy but with an earthy, peppery side.
Description:ย This bath bomb, named after the ruler of the Pagan Feast of Fools, has a strange and magnificent fragrance created by Gorilla Perfumer Simon Constantine. This bomb will slowly dissolve to reveal a wine coloured centre, with the added sweetness of the worldโs first fair trade vanilla absolute, perfectly balanced by the earthy scents of black pepper and patchouli oil.
The design of this bomb is inspired by the paper hats you find inside Christmas crackers, which were originally based on the crown the Lord of Misrule would wear whilst he presided over the court. Arriving at Halloween, the Lord of Misrule will be gracing us with his presence until the first signs of spring. Here’s a photo of the color the water ultimately turns when it’s all done fizzing. See Video below
Here’s a video i made of it in the tub, it’s cool.
Here are the Lush products which are in the same scent family
Shimmy Shimmy sparkly massage bar was the originating product in this scent family. Later Lush made many different products called ‘American Cream’, and all of these originated from the scent of Shimmy Shimmy massage bar. Vanilla, Lavender, and Sage.
Description: Lush International (UK) has a party/contest for forum members. In this one in 2005, we were allowed to all vote for our favorite Lush products scent to be made for forum members into a Lush perfume, for that one time only. HIWTK won as well as Snowcake, Silky Underwear, American Cream, Potion and Fever. These were available in either 30g or 60g, in lovely Lush perfume bottles.
$40.00 30g or $60.00 for 60g
Perfume Oil
This is my Lush American Cream perfume oil.
4 out of 5 ratung. The scent is more concentrated in the perfume oil form. Its more yummy. ๐๐๐ผ
Review: This is one Lush perfume that lasts, you don’t have to re-apply like Potion say, HIWTK or Prince. I’m not complety nuts about the American Cream scent. I mean I like it, snd I use it. But it’s not like my favorite scent combo of all time so this would make it a three and 1/2 rating. This perfume did however get me more into the American Cream scent, and the perfume’s scent does last longer than most. 3 1/2 out of 5 rating.
Here’s a short video i made showing american cream perfume

This bubble bar stands out to me as one i would take on a desert island. ย See my 3 minute video of it in the tub, it will BLOW your mind. Color, scent, this one has it all.
Lush Description: Sexy vanilla & soothing lavender bubbles with a swirl of pink flosty gritter (as spelled by Noriko).

Review: This is a lovely shade of bright pink. It has pinkish/purple glitter, but not too much. Mine was so soft and squishy and the vanilla milkshake scent of “American Cream” hair conditioner wafted up all around me in the tub. It’s funny how a scent can become better or worse to me depending on what the delivery mechanism of that scent is; bubble bar, soap, hair conditioner, etc. The American Cream scent of Clary sage, vanilla and lavender is so scrummy in bubble bar form. I was struck at how strong the scent was and that people would probably like this bubble bar alot. Flosty is sweet, foody, fresh, herbal, blended in such a wonderful way. And that fact that the bubble bar is covered in fushia glitter doesn’t hurt it’s ratings in my book. I didn’t think Flosty Gritter was going to impress me as much as it did. I also think that this is going to be a huge hit with the majority of Lush buyers. I’m not completly headover heels about the sage that’s in the American Cream scent, ย I’m surrounded by sage where I live and it grows wild in our yards. It’s a beautiful plant but the scent of sage isn’t one of my favorite smells.
Debuting at their Oxford Street store in London, and then coming to UK and US stores a month later, this comes at a time when lush were discontinuing their bath bomb of the same name.
I like the bath bomb more than the bubble bar. There was a whole show involved with the bath bomb. An unfurling of psychedelic beauty. Whereas the bubble bar crumbles into the huge amount of bubbles, which is good, after all it is a bubble bar. But i like the :show” of the bath bomb a bit more. Dunno if i’ll buy this one again. The scent wasn’t as strong as i remember the bath bomb to be. It is a gorgeous looking bubble bar though.
Lush Description: This ginger, pepper and lemon-scented bubble bar turns your water psychedelic and puts some colour in your life. Simply crumble underneath the running tap to create grounding, spicy bubbles. Its spicy, citrusy scent will pep you up: lemon oil boosts the mood, while ginger and pepper are warming.
I took t pic below of the Granny bath bomb and the bubble bar together.

I like this bath bomb. The “show” that it gives in the tub is spectacular. It makes a dizzying array of colors, growing ever psychedelic as more of it dissolves in the water. It’s a flat bath bomb, having varied colored rings within rings.
In April 2015 this was discontinued. At the same time, Lush made a new bubble bar of the same name and scent. I think the reason they discontinued this bath bomb, after it only being in stores for a year or so, is that this was a particularly fragile bath bomb since it was designed with rings within rings, and may have broke more often in the store displays than other of the lush bath bombs.
I LOVE the scent. Its made with Ginger, Black Pepper and Lemon. The scent is actually strong enough. ๐๐ผ
