It’s such a stunning and beautiful sugar scrub, looking just like a Watermelon, with red sugar cocoa butter mixture and black seeds to make it look like watermelon seeds.
It’s made with watermelon seed oil.
When i opened it the scent kind of reminded me of a watermelon rind. But the more i sniffed it the less i liked it. It’s got a strange undertone, to my nose anyway. 🤷🏽♀️ I asked my husband to smell it. I said ‘does this smell like watermelon?’ He said ‘Uh…NO.’
I put it in front of my daughter’s nose and said ‘watermelon.’ She said ‘kind of, at first, but it smells kinda weird mom.’
Yeah, it’s not just me. I used it in the shower. The feel of it overall is nice, and the way it worked on my skin was nice! However i just couldn’t get on with the scent. It’s off putting to me. Don’t know if i got a bad batch or what but ill *try* to finish it but its going to be a challenge lol.
It IS a striking looking scrub, there’s no doubt. 😍

It smells off to me too – mine went in the bin and kept the pot to return to Lush. It’s really rare for this to happen to me!

Absolutey hated it too, just like you I’m forcing myself to finish it up but it makes for very unpleasant showers! I don’t think there’s anything less from Lush that’s ever been so off putting to me. It smells like rotten fruit. Awful.
Right? I feel like it’s a bad batch and they’re unaware of it or something. I’m glad it’s not just me but yet i feel bad that yours is the same way.
