Christmas Penguin

I will always have fond memories of him because of actually getting to meet the person at Lush Headquarters who had the idea for making a Christmas Penguin in the first place!  See her talk about Christmas Penguin during my factory tour at the short video below..

I loved this cute little guy.  It has the scent of their “Olive Branch” shower gel.  Lush made a few different products in this scent, ‘Pop in the Bath’ bubble bar is one of them. 🙂

Ingredients: Sodium Carbonate, Cream of Tartar, Sodium Laureth Sulfate, Lauryl Betaine, Cornflour, Perfume, Bergamot Oil, Sicilian Lemon Oil, Orange Flower Absolute, Sicilian Mandarin Oil.

Lush 2014 Description: P-P-P Pop in a Penguin! This fun bubble bar is modelled on Little Penguins found on Philip Island, Australia – they’re the smallest penguins in the world! Fans of The Olive Branch shower gel will love this exotic product. Its orange flower absolute and Sicilian mandarin oil will refresh and uplift, while cornflour will soften the water. Crumble under running water to create bubbly glaciers and release the bubble crumble to drift over the foam.

Ingredients: Sodium Bicarbonate, Citric Acid,Perfume, Olive Oil, Hemp Oil , Grapefruit Oil, Bergamot Oil, Frankincense Oil , Lemon Oil , Orange Flower Absolute, Mandarin Oil.

 

Review: This is quite simply, the best ballistic I’ve ever tried from Lush If I’m not mistaken. I love the combo of the two Lush products together.  Lush doesn’t do this combining very often.  Lush “Fun with a twist” fun bar comes to mind.

This bath bomb is a slooooow fizzer which is nice because it lasts the whole bath. And it’s more of a foamer than a fizzer.

The combination of the lovely orange “The Olive Branch” scented side, and the sunny yellow “Happy Hippy” grapefruit scented side is a FABULOUS scent.

It was actually softening to my skin. I dont’ know, not softening in a “Butterball” way, but in a “bicarbonate” way. Absolutely lovely.

The scent stayed on my skin through the next day.
