Adam’s Apple mouthwash tabs

Adam’s Apple solid mouthwash tablets are made with lime, lemon, spearmint, and cooling menthol.

I’ve received many questions on the taste and scent of this. i took the below photo to help demonstrate, and i discuss this in my video.

These mouthwash tabs taste/smell more like the product on the left, not the product on the right.

Lush description: Eve may have gotten the first bite, but Adam got to enjoy all of the flavour. Get first kiss ready with the gently refreshing flavour of these self-preserving mouthwash tabs.

Gently cleansing spearmint collides with lemon and lime for a fruity fling on the tongue, while aloe vera soothes the gums. If you prefer a zesty zing to a menthol blast, these solid tabs are just the ticket!

I’m also checking to make sure that one of the Lush 2018 ‘bauble melts’ isnt avocado Co Wash scented.

 

Its a very sour lime scent with a nice sweet note in it. It’s quite a big burst of a limey fragrance made with sweet, fruity bergamot oil, fragrant incense-y yet citrussy frankincense (olibanum), and the lemony litsea cubeba herb.

There is the addition of avocado, which is moisturizing and softening for skin and hair.

This is a bubble bar made for Mothers Day.

There is rosemary, nettle, vinegar and lavender flower in the conditioner.

Strawberry Whip soap

I always considered the Strawberry Twin Tub/Two Timing Tart scent to be a 4 out of 5 rating. I like this soap even more than the jelly so i would rate this strawberry whip soap a 5 out of 5 rating.

I ordered three of these.

its scent is from a retro product scent called ‘Strawberry Twin Tub‘ that was from a jelly that they made in the mid 2000’s. It has a companion bubble bar called “Two Timing Tart’ (and old review from me about it).

Ive used the 2006 strawberry twin tub jelly, and its bubble bar companion ‘Two Timing Tart’ because these products were created for one of my friends ‘Twinmum’ on the Lush Uk customer forum.

This strawberry whip soap will have a wee bit more floral/perfume-y.

I don’t like lots of Lush products that have Jasmine, because they smell gross. This is NOT like those gross jasmine products.

Because it smells nice, the smell is stronger, its more moisturizing than regular lush soaps. Its got a middle layer of cocoa butter inside. Also, its bigger than i expected. Its not a tiny soap….i give it a 5 out of 5.

Lush Bauble bath oil tablet melts

Lush has introduced ten bath melts/oils that can be hung as ornaments on a Christmas tree or can be used as tags on gifts, for Christmas 2018 as a limited edition product.

Snowman (lemon, lemon myrtle and mint)

Orange (cinnamon, orange, Hot Toddy)

Winter Night (Furze)

Merry Christmas (orange-Berry Berry Christmas shower gel scent)

Anise (Ginger-yuk)

Iron Harvest (lavender and oats, same scent as Dreamtime bath oil, et al)

Dragon’s Temple (Same as Delight bath oil, pepper, lime)

Each has its own fragrance and each are made with different ingredients, all are made with cocoa butter and murumuru butter.

some have scents that Lush has used in other products but most of their scents are new.

I bought all but one, the Hot Toddy one. That was sold out when i got to the site. However, i did buy a Hot Toddy one from a woman who lives in Germany. So eventually i’ll be able to add that one here too. Keep coming back to this page. 🙂

I’m going to use each of the nine different ones i bought and write a review, and record a short tub water demo video for each one, and i’ll add them to this page as i use them.

I’m going to use the best smelling one (in my opinion) first.

You simply place the bauble in an already filled tub and the hot water of the tub melts the bauble. Each one makes a different shade of water. Alternatively you can hold it under the water faucet of the tub. But many consider the ‘show’ that it puts on when it is placed in the already filled tub water part of the effect.

Winter Night

This particular bauble below, Winter Night’ melt is my favorite scent of the 10 different bauble melts that Lush has created as an exclusive in the Uk for Christmas 2018. Its the same coconutty scent as Furze bath oil and Furze perfume.

This orange and spice one has the same scent as Hot Toddy.

This one has the same scent as the Berry Berry Christmas.

The Dragon bath melt below has the same scent as the Lush ‘Delight’ bath oil, The Cyanide Pill bath bomb, Hands of Friendship soap, and 13 States bath bomb.
