World Piece

Some trivia: lush used to call this World ‘Piece’ then they changed the name a few years later to World ‘Peace’.

Ingredients: Sodium Bicarbonate, Citric Acid, Pine Oil (Pinus), Sweetie Oil (Citrus grandis), Peppermint Oil (Mentha piperita), Cypress Oil (Cupressus sempervirens), Perfume, Gardenia Extract (Gardenia jasminoides), Colour 42045.

Minty mint! Sweet mint. Very refreshing on a hot day. And the water turns a gorgeous deep turquoise blue.

Lush times 2003 Description: Perhaps most of us wonder if there’s anything we can do to help bring about world peace. If we’re not world leaders or diplomats or international peace keepers then a good way to start would be to be pleasant to everyone we meet, well behaved on the roads, polite and considerate to our friends and families and kind to complete strangers. Scale it up a bit and we’re there! ‘What’s that got to do with a Bath Ballistic?’ you may ask. It’s like this. The World Piece is made with pine oil from Russia for courage and constancy and peppermint, symbol of friendship and love, from the USA. We have sweetie oil, from an Israeli grapefruit bred to remove sourness, mixed with a secret perfume from the edges of the Arabian Sahara Kenyan cypress oil is said to soothe anger and calm down irritable people who won’t stop talking and start listening. Use them yourselves and send them to people who have a direct influence on ending conflicts. (Just be careful not to label the package ‘Bath Product’ not ‘ballistic’ or ‘bomb’ because that wouldn’t help.

Choco La La

Ingredients: Dark Chocolate, Cocoa Butter (Theobroma cacao), Shea Butter (Butyrospermum parkii), Orange Oil (Citrus dulcis), Sandalwood Oil (Santalum album), Violet Leaf Absolute (Viola odorata), Perfume.

Lush Times description: It IS real orange, sandalwood and violet leaf scent that are put into Choco La La and not ‘plastic’; as some of people have commented. They probably don’t realize that many of the scents they think are ‘natural’ are made in test tubes. If you try out this massage bar, you will experience the incomparable feeling of warmed cocoa butter and chocolate being smoothed into the skin, smell the revitalizing orange oil, the sandalwood to encourage relaxation and violet leaf to remember how to enjoy your sensuality. Do you get it? Perhaps it may be a little messy but it does wash out of your sheets and linen. Tap into your sense of adventure!

Review: This is definitely one of my favorite lush massage bars. It looks like a little fancy chocolate dessert. It smells of chocolate (real chocolate smell, not fake chocolate) and violet leaf absolute (Daddy O, Bathos, Retread) It’s grittier than a lot of bars because of the chocolate. It harder to rub in to your partners skin than other lush massage bars, so you have to rub it in longer to get the brown chocolate rubbed in the skin. I’d give this a 3.5 rating
