Ohhh, there’s nothing better than smearing your favorite foody combo (orange and chocolate) all over yourself in the bath, and having it be less drying than soap. I love the Sonic Death Monkey scent of this Heavenly Bodies buttercream. I do believe this choclate dipped orange scent is my favorite.
Lush description: Want a body like an angel? Got a body like a zombie? Revive your skin with a muddy mixture of chocolate, cocoa butter, refreshing orange juice, anti-microbial Rhassoul mud and stimulating tangerine oils. We scent each chunk of Heavenly Bodies Butter Cream with vanilla absolute, cocoa absolute (yes, you really can get natural chocolate perfume), tangerine and sweet orange so it smells rather like a chocolate orange cheesecake but it does taste like soap so when you put it in the fridge please don’t put it right next to the edible creamy temptations. We would hate it to be wasted. For the best effect smooth it all over the outside of your body. You’ll smell like an angel and your skin will feel as soft as gossamer.

Butter Creams
Creamy Cakes of Glycerine Soap made in huge buckets and hand-rolled in petals, chocolate, cocoa butter and other unexpected ‘packaging’, our butter creams look like huge helpings of luxury dessert. At room temperature they start out smooth, soft and slippery, but if you’re the sensation-seeking type you can choose to chill or freeze them to turn them into blocks of invigoratingly refreshing shower soap. Butter Creams are a luxurious blend of 15% soap – enough to get you clean but not make masses of non-essential lather – and 85% natural, skin softening oils and butters, glycerine, plant infusions and essential oils. Use them for summery soft skin.
I am a sucker for that red currant, berryish scent. It smells like Ribena tastes. This has the scent of “the comforter’ bubble bar, Sweetie Pie jelly, Comforter shower gel, etc.
Lush 2005 description: When Helen Ambrosen invented the Soft Coeur massage bar it was called Soft Centre but it got renamed the Soft Coeur by the creative team. At the same time is was suggested that we should have Hard Core bar with exfoliating, ground pumice stone inside for people who like to treat themselves severely. Little did we think that Helen would actually come back with the actual article. You Snap the Whip is her hard core, coal black body butter for soft, strokeable, blackcurrant scented skin. It smells of blackcurrants because one of the creative team was constantly piping up about having her favourite massage bar brought back; those of you who remember Cherie Ripe’s dark, smooth, sensual, fruity fragrance will want to have a weekly You Snap the Whip scrub. (At least). Those of you who are too young to remember it but who like the idea of scrubbing with a moisturising, macadamia nut oil, seriously exfoliating, cleansing charcoal bar which smells like Ribena will have to race us to the shops. To use it stroke the bar over your skin when it’s wet and rinse off thoroughly in the bath or shower.
