Youki Hi

2 out of 5 rating

up for the vote for possible inclusion in the Lush Feb 2021 subscription box.

Ingredients: Sodium Bicarbonate, Citric Acid, Sea Salt (Sodium Chloride), Perfume, Jasmine Absolute (Jasminum officinale), Ylang Ylang Oil (Cananga odorata), Cypress Oil (Cupressus sempervirens), Palmarossa Oil (Cymbopogan martini), Gardenia Extract (Gardenia jasminoides), Red Golden Glitter (Polyethylene terephthalate, FD&C Yellow No. 5, D&C Red No. 7, FD&C Red No. 4), FD&C Red No. 4

This has scent of Flying Fox shower gel. Lots of honeysuckle, ylang ylang and not too noticeable jasmine. It’s similar to the Lush ‘Lust’ perfume. I don’t like the scent whatsoever , *raises right hand* I cannot finish a bath with this. I’ve tried it twice just to make sure. I usually try things at least three times, but no can do. It’s apity because visually, it’s strikingly gorgeous. The Youki Hi from the UK especially, are covered (on the outside only) with a bunch of golden glitter, and dark red salt. I don’t like Flying Fox shower gel either, and this ballistic was made to have the same exact scent as flying Fox shower gel.

These are the little flower buds in it.
This is the color of the water.

LT description: Our Chinese New Year celebration Ballistic is named after one of the world’s three most beautiful women ever, a Chinese woman called Youki-Hi, according to Japanese tradition. It as Yuka’s idea; she works for Lush in Japan. It has the gloriously sensual, jasmine flower fragrance of Flying Fox and is regally decorated with gold sparkles and red sea salt – that’s sea salt dyed red not salt from the Red Sea in the colours of Chinese dragons which dance along the street for new year parades. The other two most beautiful women, so legend has it, were Cleopatra and Onono Komachi, a Japanese storyteller. Perhaps one day they will have their own commemorative Bath Ballistics too. (It’s pronounced ‘you-key-hee’ not ‘you-key-high’ except by Mark.)

Frangiapani

This perfume smells so good when i first spray it on. The white flowers in it are sweet and frarant on my arm. It smells so fresh and gorgeous.

here’s a video where i review the new exclusive Lush ‘Perfume Library’ perfumes including Frangiapani. Go to 26:42 in the video for the Fragiapani perfume review and description.

Snow Fairy Roll

This is a super large bubble bar. It’s like two or three regular Lush bubble bars. It smells just like the Lush Snow Fairy shower gel. Like pink buttery candy. Recently Lush has added lime oil to Snow Fairy to lend some acidic quality to the sweet vanilla scent.

It’s got white shimmer on the outside of the bar. I used half in my bath.

This is a bubble bar in the same design of the popular ‘Brightside’, ‘The Comforter’, Blue Skies & Fluffy White Clouds’. Only this one is bright pink! And it has the popular ‘Snow Fairy’ shower gel scent.

Here are some other Snow Fairy Lush products from past Christmases. If you’ve tried any one of these you know what this bubble bar will smell like.

Yog Nog body milk

5 out of 5 rating

I’ve tried two other exclusive Lush body milks and have recorded up close demos of the body milks below, so you can see how these body milks are.

When i buy my Christmas products and they’re delivered- i’ll write my reviews, post my tub bath water photos and video demo here for you. 😊

I’ve bought and used the exclusive Lush Yog Nog body lotion (in my group photo below) and it was too much for me. Too greasy. So i was wary about this yog nog body milk. But this sinks in so much better. And it leaves you feel moisturized but not greasy. And it smells delicious!

I took a photo of all the Lush Yog Nog products made throughout the years. If you’ve had one of these you know how this body milk will smell like.

heres a video of me showing up close a couple of Lush body milks.

Very Very Frightening

The name comes from the song by Queen called ‘Bohemian Rhapsody’.

The scent is a cross between citrussy (grapefruit) and berry-like (Black Currant).

Ingredients: Perfume, Grapefruit Oil, Bergamot Oil, Almond Essential Oil, Black Currant, White Sugar Crystals, Titanium Dioxide, Synthetic Fluorphlogopite, Tin Oxide, Silica, *Limonene, *Linalool,

I Want a Hippopotamus for Christmas bath bomb

My 19 year old daughter thinks it smells like ‘Skittles’ candy. 😊

It’s a thin consistency but i can let that slide since it’s such a fun shower gel. 👍🏼

Here’s my video demo for you. I talk about it but i also wash my hands at the sink and show you close up what it looks like

Flight

A Lush Harajuku bath bomb Made with the Yummy Mummy scent.

5 out of 5 rating.

See my 4 minute Tub Demo Video below.

Its the same scent as Lush ‘Yummy Mummy’ shower gel and ‘Roller’ bath bomb and body sprayit smells like sweet strawberry and oranges. See below for more ingredients.

I think the bath art this makes is some of the most stunning that Lush has ever made in a bath bomb. Purple, blue, green, yellow….WoW.

It also has light blue colored glitter which is rare to see in a lush bomb if you think about it.

It has little shiny pieces of red salt embedded into the top.

It ultimately creates a cobalt blue water.

Gorgeous!

Magic Rabbit bath bomb

5 out of 5 rating.

See my 3 minute Tub Demo Vidro below.

This bomb has paper ears. It’s Super fruity with Davana oil and Tonka bean oil.

It smells like peach, berries and vanilla to me.

This is a gorgeous bomb. So whimsical. Its a new bomb this Easter with a new shape. The black turns to a deep purple in the water. There is no sparkle in the water.

its a slow melty fizzer which i like bevause i can watch it for a long time as it fizzes in the tub. It crackles with popping candy as it dissolves in the tub.

The vivid red from the hat’s stripe is so striking against the purple. This is a wonderful bomb for bath art.

The water looks blackish purple after its all disdolved. It didnt stain my tub or anything. It was quite easy to simply rinse once with my shower spray. Just don’t hold it in your hand as it dissolves as it will stain your fingertip.

Im glad i bought two. I would highly recommend this bath bomb.

Here’s a video i recorded of it in the tub before i hopped in.

Lemon Crumble Bubbleroon

5 out of 5

See my 1 minute Tub Demo Vid below

This smells just like a real lemon. Not too sweet. ExCtly like a real lemon.

Out of all 90 of the new limited edition Lush Harajuku Japan concept store bubble bars-Lemon Crumble (and Plum Crumble) was the one that caught my eye the most. i’m addicted to eating lemons. Not lemon slices, whole lemons, with a lot of salt 😊

This has some creamy white cocoa butter in the middle of the two halves.

The water doesn’t turn yellow, the water is clear with a bunch of bubbles.

It reminds me of the truck which went down our street when i was little called ‘Itsa Italian Ice’ and i would always order the lemon because they would cut a half lemon and put it in the cup.

Lush description: “Do your zing

When life gives you lemons – take a bath! If you want to put a pep in your step, hot foot it into this a-peeling citrus bath. Sunny Sicilian lemon oil will give you a zesty lift when you need it most, while a Fair Trade organic cocoa butter centre conditions. Lemon Crumble will be your main squeeze, so sit like a lemon and take a long, hot soak.”

“You’ll love this if you like:

– Dad’s Garden Lemon Tree body spray, Lemon Zest soap, or Not Sleepy Shower Bomb. – Mood-boosting citrus.

– Tongue-tingling lemon sherbert.”

Personally the scent reminds me of Lush Bohemian soap. 😊

Benefits:

– Fresh lemon will cleanse and rejuvenate your skin, leaving you with a radiant glow.

– Citrus helps to balance the mind, so you can step out the bath with a smile on your face. – Easily absorbed by your skin, Fair Trade organic cocoa butter is deeply moisturising.

How to use: Break this lemon in half and crumble under the running water to create mountains of juicy bubbles. Save the other half for when you want to create more citrus suds.

How to store: Just like a real lemon, keep this bubbleroon somewhere cool and dry.
