A photo of the Sakura i bought in 2021

Mimosa in the moonlight. I knew this smell right away, I used to walk around these trees at my fathers house that had the fuzzy lavender colored flowers on it and the smell was heavenly. A sweet yet powdery flower the mimosa. It is lavender in color and fuzzy like a soft pink brush. Sometimes it smells like a light melon scent too. Mimosa is what the “Sakura” ballistic is scented with.

Mimosa tree flowers

In Japan Sakura stands for Cherry Blossoms.

My Sakura perfume

This has no color in the water.

a picture of the Sakura i bought in 2005

Ingredients: Sodium Bicarbonate, Citric Acid, Perfume, Sea Salt, Lemon Oil, Mimosa Absolute, Orange Blossom Absolute, Jasmine Absolute, Gardenia Extract, FD&C Red No. 4, FD&C Blue No. 1

Lush 2006 description: Sakura is the japanese name for cherry blossom which aptly describes this pretty pale pink ballistic. Sakura is dappled with bursts of pale green that rise up to a bright pink and green layer of exfoliating sea salt at the top of the bomb

Sakura doesnt color the water.

This has been one of Lush’s regular year round bath bombs since 2004 or so. And its still sold in stores today.

Its a fast dissolving fizzing type of bath bomb, not a slow, melty, foam typeof bomb. It has a lovely floral scent with blue and pink salt crystals on the top.

My photo below shows the different products that Lush has made throughout the years that have the same scent.

There’s one or two more products in this scent family that arent in my group picture.

Below is another group picture i took of some Sakura scent family members 😄 Lush began to make these again in February 2025, and in a different color scheme which is more appropriate for white day. And because pink is the color of Sakura.

The difference between the Cherry Tree Lane soap from 2007 and the one from 2025 is quite a big change. 🙂

Here’s the ‘newer’ design of 17 Cherry Tree Lane’ soap from the Late 2010’s, , compared to the original 17 Cherry Tree Lane soap in my photo above this one that Lush used to make in the late 2000’s.

And the new design of 17 Cherry Tree Lane soap from 2026 is below.

This is my original bottle from the very first time it was made for Lushies.

There is a liquid spray perfume in a lovely glass bottle, and there is also a body spray version of fragrance.

Rub Rub Rub body scrub, shower gel

4 out of 4

This is what the solid version looked like. Lush made it this way for some years, and then they went back to the liquid kind in the black pot again.

I love the scrub. It’s one of Lush’ prettier square body scrubs. It has the mimosa flower, Cherry Blossom scent of their popular ‘Sakura’ bath bomb. A feminine scent. The exfoliating is enhanced by the moisturizing Cocoa butter which leaves skin sooo soft afterwards.

You just wash in the shower as usual, with soap or shower gel, then rinse off. Then you scrub the rough parts of your body like knees, elbows, legs, etc. Then simply rinse off in the shower and dry yourself off, that’s it. The lovely and natural floral scent lingers on my skin for a couple hours. I would suggest this.

Lush made this shower gel alooooong time ago for users on their customer forum website. The bottles were extra large. Im glad i bought a couple of bottles.

Such a pretty color

I took a photo of these rub rub rub/sakura scented products below. There are a couple of other products that lush released a few years after this photo was taken such as the ‘naked version of the scrub’
