Time to scrub up? Pop into the shower and let the sea salt and prickly pear oil do the hard work, leaving you with softer skin. Listen out for crackle-ingly good shower ASMR with this natural exfoliator.
How to use: Wet your bar, rub between your hands and scrub using the pressure you like. Cut in two before you use or use whole bar for an indulgent pear-scented treat.
How to store: Keep somewhere cool and dry until ready. This is enough for two full body scrubs so pop in a dish between uses.
i was very excited to buy golden pear scrub. i love all the lush golden pear products. It’s made with real pear. And i cannot resist bath bombs that look like fruit. And a gold one? Yeah, i’m not made of wood people.
If you’ve tried the Golden Pear body spray or jelly, you know that these two have a very strong astringent alcohol-y note to it. This isn’t the case with the scrub. The scrub smells more like the Golden Pear soap, bath bomb and bubble bar.
After using my skin is smooth, soft and moisturized, while also smelling like a pear. It’s conditioning without being too much.
As you can see in my video my arm didnt have any noticeable glitter when i was done.
This was a new, limited edition product this Christmas, but people liked it so much that Lush has made this a year round product!
It’s just like smelling a real peeled orange. It shares its scent with Lush ‘Brightside’ bubble bar and the discontinued ‘Easy Peeler’ scrub. Not too sweet, just fresh and orangey. Not fake but natural smelling. It smells juicy if that makes sense. It actually makes my mouth water.
It’s got coarse salt in it for exfoliating. So don’t scrub too hard.
This has orange oil, red Mandarin, tangerine oil, bergamot and orange peel! Oranges are one of my favorite smells and this smells so good like i could drink it. So incredible.
Trip the light fantastic and create a spectacle in your shower with this colourful creation to lift your mood and polish your skin to perfection. Buff your way to softness with sugar and fine sea salt, while potato starch leaves you feeling silky. An uplifting blend of zesty Sicilian lemon oil and invigorating spearmint oil combine with pineapple powder for an enzymic burst of freshness as bright as the Northern Lights. Break off a piece and hold under running water for a scrubby paste that you can gently work over wet skin to feel strokably smooth.
The spearmint isnt that strong i must say but its blended nicely with the mint. Its not very sweet. It almost smells like a citrus floral to me.
Youre supposed to pinch a piece off instead of trying to wet the whole bar. I show how in my video sink demo below.
Lush has introduced two or more new exclusive body scrubs at their new mega store in the Lush Liverpool spa. This ‘Easy Peeler’ body scrub is one of them.
It smells and looks like an orange. Slightly sweet. These new Lush sugar scrubs are much less hard and scratchy than their former style of sugar scrubs.
These are for exfoliating rough dry skin and also conditions for moisturizing the smooth skin that is left behind.
I recorded a close up sink arm demo of it for you below to see how it works.
The exfoliating is done with sugar crystals that are mixed in with the cocoa butter. So its a gentler scrub than the former more agressive lush scrub bars.
I would recommend these. They dont fall apart after one use. These can be used again and again a few times without becoming a mess.
My skin feels soft, not greasy and moisturized. I dont feel like i have something on my skin. It just feels like my skin, only moisturized and soft.
Its purple. Its cute. It smells like plums. It moisturizes my dry skin.
I am so enamored with this scrub. To put all your questions to rest. No. When i asked about the scent of the scrub the first time, someone thought i meant the lushlabs scrub i was holding in my other hand, so they told me plum rain, which it is. But THIS scrub here, which is what i was asking about, is NOT plum rain, its sugar plum scented. So that’s where all the confusion came. I apologize. I’ll change it everywhere that i have this erroneous info. 👍😘❤️
Typically i dont like the non-potted scrubs from Lush because they seem to dry out too quickly, making it eventually too scratchy to use on my skin.
Not so with this scrub. Its got seemingly double the regular amount of cocoa butter than others of its kind, making it a bit wetter.
This isn’t too big nor too small, it seems like just the right size to be able to use it up without it sitting around gettibg dry and scratchy.
Initially the dark color was worrisome but i didnt have to worry about any staining. There was none to be had.
Its got coarser exfoliating grains of sugar.
Here’s a close up demo video and review i recorded for you of the sctub on my arm at tge sink.
It was made with the same scent as the lip scrub of the same name.
$12.95 This one above i bought from the Lush Kitchen Subscription box November 2021.
It was made originally for one or two years only as a limited edition for Christmas in 2014 or thereabouts.
Salt And Peppermint Bark is here to sweetly
soften your skin this holiday. Over half of each
bar is sea salt for some serious seasonal
scrubbing! Tropical cocoa and cupuacu
butters will soften and condition the skin while
you scrub, to leave you feeling silky smooth.
This is one of very few Lush solid body scrubs that i like. Its made with salt for exfoliatiin purposes. So ifyou have bumps on your upper arms or if you have areas that are rough and dry the cocoa butter will soften and salt will exfoliate those rough spots away.
Its got a nice creamy, slightly sweet peppermint scent.
This was made in 2014, sold in stores in the UK and US and online, and was discontinued in 2017 or so.
It was voted for and remade again June 2021 for the Lush UK subscription box. It’s a square of solid cocoa butter with sugar for exfoliation. It was made with the Lush ‘Lord of Misrule’ scent which is made with vanilla, black pepper and patchouli.
.
I liked it.
You use it in the shower after soaping up and rinsing off. Then you just rinse off with warm water.
If you’ve tried this-did you like it? Or not so much?
I voted for this, mostly because i love the scent of LOM.
I added a couple of my Lord of Misrule scent family pictures
Here’s a video i made of how to use this and what it’s like 😉
