Ingredients: £2.25 200g Sodium Bicarbonate, Citric Acid, Aloe Vera Extract (Aloe barbadensis), Clove Powder (Eugenia caryophyllus), Lemon Peel Powder (Citrus limonum), Cassie Absolute (Acacia farnesiana), Benzoin Resinoid, (Styrax benzoin), Rose Absolute (Rosa centifolia), Propylene Glycol, Benzyl Benzoate, Perfume, Candy Holly Leaf.

Review: I got a fresh one once and it changed my mind about the Pud. True, it leaves a brown ring to clean up. True, it makes the water poo brown. Turn off the lights, light a candle and use this. It smells like spice cake. And it lasts. I bathed my twins in this on Christmas and they smelled like two little spice cake sweeties all weekend. This is grand to combine with Christmas Cracker bubble bar, Orange and Spice soap or with a Jack Froth or Marziban bubble bar. It’s like bathing in Christmas desert.

Lush Times description: Looks like a pudding, smells like a pudding, fizzes like a spicy Bath Ballistic. Fill your bath with warm water and drop in the Ballistic for a fizzing, fragrant, relaxing soak.

Notes: The newer ones are much lighter brown. almost tan colored, and they smell more like Snowcake soap then spicy Christmas pudding. I like the original ones way better because it was spicy.

Yummy Yummy Yummy

Review/Description: This is Lush’s strawberry shower gel from the forum preview party. It smells like yummy strawberries. It also contains passionfruit, bergamot, almond oil and honey. Some people say it smells like MMM melting marshmellow moments, but it doesn’t to me, Yummy yummy has way more strawberry scent.

Yummy Yummy Yummy shower gel

Lush Times Summer 2008: Researching for a recent television programme, Lush found out that the cost of a standard shower gel is 20% ingredients and 80% packaging. With Lush, it’s the other way around; plain packaging containing beautiful ingredients. This inspired Helen to create Yummy, Yummy, Yummy with truly wonderful natural ingredients; fresh strawberries, soothing honey and moisturising almond oil, with a drop of rejuventating olibanum oil. It’s not common or garden shower gel; it’s the yummiest Shower Cream Wash ever for the softest skin.

Ingredients:Fresh Strawberries Infusion, Sodium Alkyl Sulfate, Honey Water, Almond Oil, Sodium Laureth Sulfate, Perfume, Glyceryl Sterate, Cocamide MEA, Propylene Glycol, Glycol Cetearate, Lauryl Betaine, Olibanum Oil, Bergamot Oil, Geranium Oil, Passionflower Seed Oil, Fine Sea Salt, Water, Balsamic Vinegar,

Review: If you like “The Comforter” bubble bar, you will love this, full of Cassis it has a lovely somewhat raspberry scent. It differs form batch to batch but its a medium thick consistency.

The scent doesn’t stay on the skin after awhile but that’s okay.

Waylander Rhassoul

Ingredients: Rhassoul Mud Slurry , Rapeseed oil; Sunflower oil; Coconut oil , Pumice Powder , Water (Aqua) , Kaolin , Perfume , Patchouli Oil , Vetivert Oil.

Lush Description: Waylander Rhassoul is a soap for preparing bodies for adventure, especially if theyve not seen daylight for a while. What they need is a lovely, clay based soap made with Rhassoul Mud from the Atlas Mountains, a traditional Moroccan skin and scalp treatment which works marvels on troubled skin – perfumed with earthy patchouli oil, with pumice powder mixed in so when the Rhassoul mud washes away the dirt youre left with a hard, rocky centre of ground pumice to scrub away rough skin. Use it on feet, hands, elbows and knees (especially before using fake tan). At this point you start up a new, soft, creamy, muddy bar and youll find that your skin has already transformed itself magically from dull to bright.

Review: This soap is the epitome of an ‘Earthy’ smell.  Rasshoul smells of rich earth. Men would love this. And I love it. It’s a comforting and grounding scent.

This soap used to be called ‘Middle Earth Turns to Rock’.  But they changed the name in 2008 after one of my fellow forum members held in high esteem, Simon, ‘Waylander’ was his forum name.  He made his own armor.

Earth and Patchouli is exactly what this smells like. It’s gritty from the pumice bits so it’s good for exfoliating. This is also a good male scent. I have a love/hate relationship with Middle Earth, sometimes I gotta have it and sometimes not, but I gotta give it props for doing what it says and for being interesting to look at and it was rabidly popular in it’s day.

Lush Times 2005 description: At first waylander soap has the texture of smooth mud pies, the kind you made at the with your bucket and spade as a kid; the kaolin and rhassoul mud make it a wonderful, deep cleansing scrub, excellent for getting out engine oil, garden earth and paint. As you use it up you are left with more of the pumice powder and magically it turns into a bar of Rock soap; use Rock for scrubbing and smoothing your feet, elbows and really rough bits. Waylander has an earthy, spicy scent of an Arabian soukh; take advantage of its eastern magic to get your hands and feet their cleanest ever.

Snowcake soap

4 out of 5

This cute Bear is the 2021 version of Snowcake soap. But this year the name is actually different. It’s called “Polar Bear”.

Lush makes their classic Snowcake soap in a completely different design every year.

i’ll add all the different looks here.

for 2020 it looks like this:

This year Snowcake smells even yummier than it has in past years. Sometimes it has smelled kind of like Playdoh. I don’t know what Lush added to it this year but it smells more like vanilla icing. or marzipan fruit.

Ingredients: Water, Propylene Glycol, Sodium Palm Kernelate, Perfume, Sodium Stearate, Sodium Lauryl Sulfate, Titanium Dioxide, Benzoin Resinoid, Rose Absolute, Cassie Absolute, Glycerine, Sodium Chloride, EDTA, Tetrasodium Editronate, Benzyl Benzoate.

If you get a good, fresh piece you smell an almond paste and roses scent. It’s delicate but scrummy.  Snow cake soap has particularly creamy lather.  Lush has introduced Snowcake soap every Christmas for many, many years.

Lush Description: Hand and body soap: Smells like the delicious almond icing on your cake: feels like almond mousse on your skin.

Here’s what it looked like in 2017. It’s Gold on the top.

Scent Family: Snowcake Perfume; Snowcake Shower Gel; Snow On Snow Dusting Powder; Smitten Hand Cream; Oops! Almond Kisses Facial Moisturiser; Marzibain Bubble Bar Slice; Big Ed Yuletide Soap Snow Angel bath bomb

Even more, i love the Lush ‘Marzibain’ bubble bar which Lush made in the Snowcake scent.  It’s a cream colored bar with an almond on top.  Makes gorgeous, volumunous, creamy bubbles. I also am very fond of the dusting powder in this scent called “Snow on Snow’.  It’s delicate, and soft, like sweet fallen snow.  Lush has only made the powder twice.  Lush first made the Snow on Snow powder for forum members only.

The 2016 Version called ‘Snowcastle’

Here’s what it looked like Christmas 2018

and my review of it below.

A new version of the classic Lush Christmas ‘Snowcake’ soap. Lush has been carrying the tradition of various different versions of their classic Snowcake soap since the early 2000’s.

This year Lush went all out and made a gourmet soap in the Snowcake scent, but with an additional squishy, yummy looking ‘saucey’ topping. It looks like fruit and Oh my goodness I want a whole wheel lol. This is a gourmet soap this year with extra moisturizing properties.
