Shimmy Shimmy massage bar

5 out of 5 rating

(Lush is selling this classic product once again on their website, as of October 29, 2025)

Shimmy Shimmy was a regular season long store item in 2002. In my photos below the price listed is the old price from many years ago.

Shimmy Shimmy was the originating product in this scent family. Later Lush made many different products called ‘American Cream’, and all of these originated from the scent of Shimmy Shimmy massage bar. Vanilla, Lavender, and Sage.

I bought Shimmy Shimmy massage bar in 2003. I loved the scent and the light iridescence of it when wearing it on the skin.

I took this Shimmy Shimmy/American Cream scent family many, many years ago to lrt people knowwhat items had the same scent, incase they liked or didn’t like the scent.

Snowy

5 out of 5

New Shower Gummy for Christmas 2025

You use Snowy shower gummy like soap. 😊

Shower gummy is a fairly new invention from Lush. There are new shower guummies, facial gummies, and even hair gummies this year 2025.

I am LOVING this new Snowy shower gummy.

First of all i love the new creation of shower gummies. They are firmer than lush shower jellies. The lush jellies flop all over the place whereas the gummies are noticebly firmer. The shower gummy is so much easier to hold in the shower.

Secondly, the scent of Snowy is absolutely amazing. It was unexpected to me that this shower gummy would smell THIS good.

It smells like something yummy to eat for dessert. Vanilla, Mint and Sandalwood.

What a great combination! This shower gummy has convinced me that i need to buy the Mr. Wallet body spray fragrance.

Snowy is so cute for a Christmas product and its the perfect fragrance for Christmas.

If i had to decide on getting either the Lush ‘Sleepy Bear’ jelly or the ‘Snowy’ gummy for Christmas i would definitely get Snowy, no question.

Also, this is not as drying to my skin as regular soap. Its more moisturizing but not too moisturizing if that makes sense.

Ingredients:

lycerine, Fresh Mint Infusion, Propylene Glycol, Sodium Laureth Sulfate, Carrageenan Extract, Fragrance, Titanium Dioxide, West Timor Sandalwood Oil, Vanilla Absolute, Peppermint Oil, Sesame seed absolute, Benzyl Alcohol, Coumarin

Vegan

There must have been some magic in that old sink tap, for when Snowy dried off, he would stick to the tiles, just like that!

Meet a gummy happy soul, who’s minty fresh and vanilla sweet. His eyes aren’t made of coal, but they are made of softening carrageenan!

Made in Canada

What’s in it for you?

– A nostalgic minty yet creamy scent.

– Carrageenan extract is our jiggly vegan friend who helps to hydrate and soothe your skin.

Leaving the world Lusher than we found it

– Our clear pots are made from recycled and recyclable materials.

– The glycerine in our products is completely palm free and vegan friendly.

How to use: Lather up to create a minty-sweet snowstorm in your shower or bath, then rinse off.

How to store: Once you’ve finished making foam angels, pat this gummy dry and stick on any shower screen or bath tub for safe keeping.

Lush made Snowy shower gummy in the same scent as their ‘Mr. Wallet’ body spray fragrance.

Christmas Cranberry

4.5 out of 5

This is returning this year.

This is what the store sized block looks like and you can get whatever size youd like to buy, its priced by weight.

Its made with orange oil and cranberries. It makes it smell like fruit punch.

This Cranberry soap smells SO good. Its strongly scented which is good. It smells like fruit punch but with a tart, refreshing cranberry note. It smells yummy. Im so glad i decided to buy this!

Its not particularly moisturizing and it doesnt have glitter, but i dont care because it smells so good. 😊

Vanilla Delight

4 out of 5 rating

this is a new style of lush product called a body wash. lush has made about 5 or 6 different body wash cubes in the last year or so. the newest one is for Christmas 2025 and is called Vanilla Delight.

as you can see Vanilla Delight is topped with gold glitter. i put it next to the happy blooming delight body wash just for comparison.

all the different body washes have this same cube shape.

the consistency and texture is like big marshmallow, only a wee bit less squishy and firmer.

mine was a little squished and torn when i got it but it still works and it smells great.

it has the Yummy Custard and frozen custard scent, which is made with vanilla.

you just use it like soap in the shower. it lathers a bit. it’s more moisturizing than soap but it’s not too moisturizing. when you’re done you should put it somewhere where it can dry before the next use.

I like using these body washes. they’re different and not complicated to use , and the scent stays nicely.

Wreath soap

4 out of 5 rating

Wreath is strongly scented in the best way. The fragrance is different for Lush, smelling more like the classic lush green and/or herbal scents. I loved showering with it, nicely fragrant.

Wreath is made with Galbanum,Petitgrain, Oakmoss, Thyme, and a pinch of floral from Geranium.

Looks like a pointsettia flower from a Christmas wreath.

Its almost too pretty to use! But i like using it. 😊 The scent kind of sticks around for awhile after showering or washing hands, which i like.

Lush ‘Wizard’ bath bomb from the first Wicked collab was the first product Lush made this new scent.

Lush also made this shower gel in their 2nd Wicked collab with the same scent.

Freshly Ever After

4 out of 5

Lush has decided to create another combo, like the Super Fairy combo of Super Milk and Snow Fairy. This time Lush decided to combine the ‘Fresh As’ perfume fragrance and the ‘Once Upon a Time’ lotion fragrance. Once Upon a Time is a derivative of the ‘So White’ fragrance.

And they called this combo ‘Freshly Ever After’.

All fairy tales start with ‘Once Upon a Time’ and end with ‘And they lived happily ever after.’ So i like the name.

So the Fir needle, Pine needle of Fresh As combine with fresh apple, neroli oil and orange of Once Upon a Time.

I decided to get the Freshly Ever After shower gel.

The combination is a combination of fresh air, fresh green trees and apple fragrance. These go together very well.

Its a fresh green trees and apple scent. It goes together so well. Like picking a green apple off a fir tree.

The combination of ingredients are on this shower gel label.

The shower gel smells good. Its very fresh smellibg, like the crisp mountain air, but with a hint of green apple. It smells nice while washing with it in the shower and it has a medium good staying power as far as the fragrance on the skin after the shower and drying off. I like this combination much better than the previous Super Fairy combination. It was hard to differentiate between the snow fairy and supermilk. It mostly smelled like snow fairy to me. But this is a combo thst works, you can smell both but they do combine to make a great scent.

Fairy Jasmine

5 out of 5 rating

Nowadays compared to today’s bath bombs this might be a 4 out of 5. Back in the day they didnt have multi colored bombs with bath art. But this light lilac colored bomb with lilac sparkles was beautiful to me.😊

Ingredients: Sodium Bicarbonate, Citric Acid, Fairy Dust (Polybutylene terephthalate & Acrylates copolymer), Perfume, Jasmine Absolute (Jasminum officinale), Vetivert Oil (Vetiveria zizanoides), Ylang Ylang Oil (Cananga odorata), Colours 18050 & 61585.

I’ve been buying these for my little girl for a couple of years starting in 2002. Fairy Jasmine is a big beautiful lavender colored bath bomb with pale lavender sparkles. There’s loads of teeny tiny glitter in the bathwater. It was never one of my favorites. Nowadays though, this has somehow come to be a staple bath bomb. It has to be on my home at all times, and not just because of my daughter either. It’s pretty and I can see why most people really like it, and okay, I really like it now. It’s jasmine with a smokey sexiness added. It has vetivert in it and I typically don’t get along with vetivert because it smells like something’s burning to my weird nose. This bomb is pretty too because it’s loaded with lavender colored glitter.

2006 LT Description: Owing to its intoxicating jasmine, vetivert and ylang ylang fragrance, it’s pale mauve colour and the sheer quantity of sparkliness it delivers, Fairy Jasmine has gone straight to the top of our best-seller list. However, it is not without its critics. Some of our bathers feel that leaving the house covered with fairy sparkles is inappropriate. Let us continue to warn you: only bathe with a Fairy Jasmine if you don’t mind sparkling, literally not metaphorically. For those of you who work with glitter-intolerant colleagues, this is a Friday night not a Monday morning bath. You will find that in soft water areas most of the glitter floats around like a shoal of tiny fish within the bath water then washes down the plughole. In hard water areas it tends to float on the surface then stick like limpets to your skin, clothes, household goods and pets; if this is not the effect you want, add a little chunk of Bubble Bar Slice to reduce the surface tension so that not so much of it sticks to you.

Tip: All That Jas has the same scent as Fairy Jasmine but without any of the glitter.

This is called ‘Family Fairy Jasmine block. Its a huge long shaped fairy jasmine bath bomb.

There was an angel shaped Fairy Jasmine for Christmas one year called Christmas Carol

Turbo Bubble” is the bubble bar that lush made in this scent. “Alkmaar” soap, Big hugs soap, “Silky Underwear” dusting powder, and Silky Underwear perfumealso have this same exact jasmine and vetiver scent.

Once in awhile I have Fairy Jasmine with a different smelling lush products like Icon bubble bar or a Bathos bubble bar, any purple product looks nice with the lavender glitter of Fairy Jasmine ballistic.

£1.95 100gs

Ingredients: Sodium Bicarbonate, Cream of Tartar (Tartaric acid), Sodium Laureth Sulfate, Lauryl Betaine, Cocamide DEA, Clove Leaf Oil (Eugenia caryophyllus), Patchouli Oil (Pogostemon cablin), Lime Oil (Citrus aurantifolia), Benzoin Resinoid (Styrax benzoin), Cinnamon Leaf Oil, (Cinnamomum cassia), Sweet Orange Oil (Citrus dulcis), *Cinnamal, *Coumarin, *Eugenol, *Limonene, *Linalool, Perfume, Colour 14700, Cinnamon Quill (Cinnamomum cassia). * Occurs naturally in essential oils.

It looks like a big red Hershey’s kiss or something, actually it’s shaped like Lush’s “French Kiss” bar. The scent of this bubble bar smells similar to “Hot Toddy” bubble bar. Lush made Hot Toddy for Christmas 2003 and 2004. It’s got that same nice spicy coca-cola-like smell. And also this year’s “Christmas Kisses” scent is a tad more complex than just “cinnamon-y”. One could combine this bar with alot of spicy scented or even fruity ballistics, melts or soaps for a lovely spicy-foody bath combo. Christmas Kisses bar is good enough to stand alone though. The scent lasted long on my skin which is good.

Description: Comforting spicy bubbles, as warming as a hot toddy, to kiss your body clean again.Crumble under running bath water for mounds of fragrant bubbles.

This beautiful indigo soap with its blue purple sparkle was made with the same scent as “Black Pearl” ballistic. Lavender, Black Currant fruit, Myrrh, Frankincense, and Chamomile. It’s one of my favorite soaps and one of most old skool Lushies favorite soaps. They only made it one year in 2005. We’ve been wanting it back for decades. It’s the darkest inky blue color of any soap that Lush has made, and it has the same dark blue sparkles. GORGEOUS

Im so glad i had the presence of mind to take pictures of my pieces!

Lush will be making this soap again for the December subscription box!

Lush 2005 Description: Mo named this brand new Christmas Soap after the poem describing Father Christmas’s Christmas Eve romp around the world with his reindeer. It’s the deep dark purple of a perfect starlit sky and scented with lavender and blackcurrant. We strongly suggest that you try some.

The picture below is of the Lush store large sized round (they called them truckles) soap on display. It was about 1-2 feet in diameter and had a reindeer, Santa and sleigh going through the night sky. That’s why the soap looks like it does, dark blue and sparkly. If I could’ve I would have bought a whole truckle of soap. They actually did sell whole soaps to customers if they were willing to buy one. I didn’t have a store near me in within 700 miles in either direction though.

Let the Good Times Roll products

4 out of 5 rating

The first time i tried the Let the Good Times Roll facial cleanser was during a tour at the world’s main factory in England. I saw a very large roll on one of the huge tables in the factory and we were asked to step up to the table and take a large roll and rollit in some popcorn that was in bowls on the table. Then we were to get a large wax piece of paper and wrap the roll in it. These large wrapped rolls were for the stores.

I’d never touched anything in a lush factory before, id never even been in one before! It smelled so good, like sweet corn.

It feels like clay. How you use it is you wet your face, then pinch a small piece off the facial cleanser from the container of it, then you smoosh it around your face 😄 It acts like an exfiating clay and smells like corn. Then you just rinse your face after using it. Your skin will be cleaned, smooth and feeling soft. It doesnt lather.

Lush products which followed the introduction of the Let the good times roll facial cleanser through the years:

Nana shower gel around 2016 (i was told by Lush that its a derivative of Let the Good Times Roll made with Banana)

A company on instagram called lollies by Leah made a sucker in the let the good times roll flavor, so i had to buy one. It was so good!

Yule Log

5 out of 5 rating

This smells so good. I love the lush posh chocolate body wash and this yule log soap was made in the same posh chocolate scent. It smells just like it. Its not a weak scent either. Its not quite as sweet as the body wash and the shower gel but thats to be expected in a soap.

Its smooth and dark brown except on one side its got a ridge design on the edge. There is a swirl of lighter colored soap that is on both sides.

I love washing with it and I’m glad i bought this soap.
