this is a new style of lush product called a body wash. lush has made about 5 or 6 different body wash cubes in the last year or so. the newest one is for Christmas 2025 and is called Vanilla Delight.
as you can see Vanilla Delight is topped with gold glitter. i put it next to the happy blooming delight body wash just for comparison.
all the different body washes have this same cube shape.
the consistency and texture is like big marshmallow, only a wee bit less squishy and firmer.
mine was a little squished and torn when i got it but it still works and it smells great.
it has the Yummy Custard and frozen custard scent, which is made with vanilla.
you just use it like soap in the shower. it lathers a bit. it’s more moisturizing than soap but it’s not too moisturizing. when you’re done you should put it somewhere where it can dry before the next use.
I like using these body washes. they’re different and not complicated to use , and the scent stays nicely.
It comes in 100g or 225g size. Lush created Yummy Custard for Mothers Day 2022, then it also made the following year for Mother’s Day 2023. I hope it reappears for 2025. 🤞🏽
Lush Yummy Custard is a limited edition body wash for Mother’s Day.
Its rich, thick and creamy and is honestly the same consistency and texture as butter. 😊
While its not a member of the Butterball scent family the Yummy Custard body wash smells somewhat like a scent cousin of butterball bath bomb and shower gel. 😄
How you use it is like a body wash. Lather up in the shower, then rinse off. I like to exfoliate first with one of Lush sugar scrubs and then rinse and THEN wash with Yummy Custard, and rinse. My skin is so smooth and soft after using it.
Here’s a 1:30 minute video at the sink washing with yummy custard and showing you what its consistency and texrure is like.
Frozen Custard is a Yummy Custard scented shower jelly that lush made exclusively for the Lush Kitchen monthly subscription box, can’t remember which month. for June or july i think?
It’s made in the shape of an ice cream cone. Smells just like Yummy Custard body wash, with vanilla and it’s a more moisturizing jelly.
I laid it down so you can see the ice cream cone shape.
Lush made below the ‘Vanilla Delight’ body wash for Christmas 2025, it has the same scent as yummy custard. 😊 the texture is like a marshmallow.
This deliciously self-centred chocolate body wash is packed with aloe vera and glycerine to soften and hydrate delicate skin.
How to use:
Completely vegan friendly, this is a great body wash for dry skin. Scoop out a good handful and inhale the rich cocoa aroma while you work it all over your body then rinse off.
VEGAN
100% RECYCLED POT
It’s got Cocoa powder, and cocoa absolute in it. It also has vanilla, sandalwood and hazelnut oil. It’s Deliciously hydrating and softening. This is the best product Lush has created in quite awhile imo. This smells more like straight up chocolate than any of the other chocolate things i’ve tried that Lush has made in the last 25 years. It does remind me of the scent of Lush Walter Bunny scrub.
I describe the texture in my video below, the consistency is like softened butter. The texture feels like a chocolate mouse in the pot and feels like silk when you rub it on your body.
Lush Uk made a Posh Chocolate shower gel for a few days only. I was lucky to buy a couple. 😊
Lush also made a body scrub of posh chocolate for a limited time.
Lush made a soap for Christmas 2025 called Yule Log. And a body lotion only available in one of the Christmas 2025 gift sets.
Lush also released a posh white chocolate and rose body wash for Mother’s Day 2025. Here it is next to posh chocolate. It’s got white chocolate instead of dark chocolate, and it also has rose oil in it.
Eventually lush made a body wash, shower gel, body scrub, soap, and body lotion in the posh chocolate scent. Each has its own review page here on my website with pictures and descriptions. I’m in love with this scent.
there was also a body butter made that i used and then threw away the container, otherwise it would be in the above group picture.
