This mischievous little character has gotten into the Halloween candy early with a candy leaf and a licorice top, so be careful he doesn’t sneak into your candy stash when you’re not looking! Crumble into the tub to lavish yourself in mounds of cozy bubbles and soft, beautiful orange waters on a cool autumn night. The delicately-blended sweet and earthy aroma of orange flower absolute and ylang ylang oil softly perfumes the skin and leaves it feeling clean and fresh. Dairy free: Pumkin’s eyes may look like chocolate, but they’re dairy-free.

Jasmine and ylang ylang
Lush has redesigned the Christmas Eve bubble bar four times since 2006z. i’ve loved every design. i love love love this fragrance so much. There’s a candle that lush uk only made as a limited edition exclusive, so i bought two.
2025 Tbis year has the most intricate design, with the main in the moon face added.
I love the scent of this bubble bar, i’ve always loved, for 20 years or so. It’s a nice blend of jasmine and ylang ylang. I always seem to like any product with ylang ylang in it. Jasmine has to be just right kind of jasmine and has to be blended with only certain things for me to like it. But when the jasmine is right in a product , i usually fall head over heels for it, and such is the Christmas Eve bubble bar.
Lush Times: The design was created by our Newcastle shop manager who wanted a bubble bar to perk her up in preparation for her night down the “toon”. She put a lovely yellow crescent moon on top of a blue sky because in Newcastle when the moon is shining, it’s time to go out! For most people though, the moon means sleepy time. Simon Constantine created a beautifully feminine jasmine and ylang ylang perfume, which is fantastic for calming and relaxing you and inspiring confidønce. On Christmas Eve children find it difficult to sleep while Father Christmas could be flying around in his sleigh delivering presents and they don’t want to miss him. Use one to send them to sleep.
These are the other lush products that have the same exact scent made with the same ingredients.
Santa Fun multi purpose bar
Northern Lights bath bomb (not to be confused with northern lights soap).
Lush made a Shower Gel with the scent and the sparkly, dark blue color of the Christmas Eve bubble bar for their December 2024 monthly subscription box.
The original Northern Lights bath bombs below are twice as long as the NL bombs that lush made after.
Lush made a Christmas 2014 bath bomb called “Northern Lights”. It has the scent of this Christmas Eve bubble bar. The both together are gorgeous.
Perfect match bubble bar is made in the same scent.
Great Wave bubble bar was made in the Christmas Eve scent
Lush says Dragon legend bubble bar was also made in the Christmas Eve scent
See my video of Pink Flamingo below – A Sweet, pink and fruity scent. It has extra cocoa butter. I love the scent although It’s not one of my favorite bubble bars because I don’t like the reusable lush bubble bars as much as the regular Lush bubble bars.
gbp / $9.02
It didn’t seem to make as many bubbles as the other lush bubble bars. Maybe because of the extra cocoa butter.
I remember when it first came out someone got one for me at the Lush Oxford Street superstore in London. They had so many cool things at that time at the Oxford street store. This bar kind of faded into he background compared to the rest of the new lush products because this flamingo bar came out among 100 other new products.

This is like swimming in orange juice, real orange juice not fake neon orange smelling and orange colored drink. It’s seemed to be almost thick and rich with ochre colored shimmer. It makes very fragrant water. The bar is an ochre color throughout. There is a lot of glitter left in the tub after the water has drained. It looks like tan colored sand but if you look closer and in the light, it’s all golden glitter. So pretty.
Here’s what the water looked like
I give this a 5 out of 5 rating.

Here’s a video demo and review i made of this bubble bar in the tub
5 out of 5 rating See my short demo video of this below.
This is made with a Spicy clove and ginger scent. Those of you familiar with Hot Toddy and liked it, would like this.
This wand-type, re-usable bubble bar is an absolutely beautiful orange-red color, with golden shimmer. It leaves the water a red color with golden shimmer in it. The red doesn’t stain the tub in any way. It’s a strong spicy scent. Especially good if you need warming up on a cold night.
Lush description: Awaken the Dragon – A roaring hot, ginger and cinnamon bubble bath to put a little fire in your belly.
4 out of 5 not because of the scent but mostly because its so pretty with the gold cocoa butter in between the top and bottom halves of the heart.
Lush has made an absolutely gorgeous bath time treat for this Valentine’s Day 2015. It’s a solid but squishy bubble bar called “Heart Throb”. It’s two heart-shaped chunks of gorgeous deep red with beautiful glittery gold cocoa butter sandwiched in between. Lush has said they made it to smell just like their popular “African Paradise” body conditioner, which was available in lush shops and online, in the Uk and U.S. around 2013.
It’s a sweet floral. It’s got extra skin softening cocoa butter too, more so than other Lush bubble bars.
I dont love the scent, which is the sme scent as Lush ‘African Paradise’.
They came in ny Valentine’s order in my picture below.
Review: This was first introduced in 2002 for Valentine’s Day. It was re-made twice thus far in 2004 and 2005 during the Lush UK Retro remake. Lush‘s “It’s a Date!” bubble bar was advertised as having the same scent as Lush‘s “Sugar Plum Fairy” and “Plum Duff” ballistics.
Indeed it does. It was suggested to use the bubble bar as a way of making a date with your sweetie. It has an actual date (the fruit) in the middle. The date doesn’t look too good when it scares you later in the tub as it floats by [-) but just remember that you’ve got a date fruit in your tub. The actual bubble bar is the prettiest thing I’ve ever seen.
It’s a date is one in my holy trinity of Lush bbs; Flower Tub, Psychodelic and It’s aDate.
As you can see in the letter from Lush in my photo below there was an Oops when initially making Its a Date.
I love mistakes like this. They dont hapoen very often at all, but i love that when they do happen Lush will offer the mistake product to us if we want. And the opportunity to get something so rare is awesome. So i got some its a date with its normal yummy scent and its a date with the Lush ‘Silky Underwear’ scent.
It’s smells like a lushious, fruity, pink cotton candy smell mixed with sensous sandalwood. Wow. Bright nuclear pink water and soft, fluffy, huge bubbles. It’s girly, it’s foody, it’s sensual all at teh same time, and this combination so works. This bubble bar certainly does stand alone scent-wise in the tub…but…if you can find a Sugar Plum Fairy or Plum Duff ballistic the two together make the best special occasion Lush “Bath ****” ever.
Spring 2003 LT Description: How bright can you make pink? Picture that and you’ll have the color of It’s a Date clearly appearing in your mind’s eye. On top of the sweet, fruitily scented It’s a Date is a piece of a date, the fruit from the palm tree, not a fraction of calendar. The idea is that if you’re a little too shy to ask someone out, you present your beloved with this, he or she will examine it closely an then point to the brown thing on the top. “What’s that?” he or she will ask. “It’s a Date!” you say. Job done. Then your date gets a lovely pink bubbly bath into the bargain. Clever or what?
Lush Times Xmas 2008: A bubbling cauldron with a magical blend of reviving herbs. This bewitching ball of bubble mixture is a deep fuchsia colour like the very edge of sunset as it’s enveloped by encroaching indigo. It is studded with star anise seedpods, cloves, blackcurrants and cranberries and scented with a blend of essential oils to make a helpful potion in your bath. Rosemary, sage, peppermint, frankincense, myrrh and benzion make it a mystical mixture to clear emotional barriers and give you mental clarity. We scatter in some fresh parrsley for good luck. Bathe in this brew as often as you can before it disappears at the end of the year; make your resolutions as you bathe, let all your mental blockages dissolve in the bath water and disappear down the plughole. Now follow your dreams.
I love the smell and the way it makes the water look. These are really dark purple when they’re fresh.
They smell like herbs and spices. Spicy like cloves. Its not sweet. Love it!
The UK Lush Kitchen made the Spellbound gift for us to buy. It had Jingle Spells, Magic, and Witches Ball. Beautiful!this one from the Lush North America Kitchen doesn’t look as good as all the ones i’ve gotten from Lush England throughout the years. As you can see, where’s the Star Anise seed? It’s hard like a rock, its pale in color and has these deep holes and cracks in it. 👀
