Lush new Jelly Face Masks
Green Coconut
See my demo video below 🙂
The scent of this is full on coconut. It’s Very creamy. And VERY moisturizing. And certainly less clean up than my Dark Arts jelly bomb was. Though the Dark Arts was more fun, this was more yummy, nourishing and relaxing if that makes sense. It’s not the same scent as Yellow Submarine, that’s a fruitier coconut. This is straight on coconut.
First up, don’t be shy and throw yourself into Green Coconut; a Jelly Bomb with a totally tropical scent. As coconut cream flows into the water it creates a rich jelly that refreshes the mind and leaves your skin feeling silky smooth, while cinnamon leaf oil stimulates the circulation to give you a radiant holiday glow.

Set sail to the tropical island of your dreams. Lie back on the soft sand, the warm waters lapping at your feet, the breeze scented like tropical fruits. Climb into your bath and pop in this king of coconuts. Jelly leisurely spreads across the water, softening as it goes. Condition your skin with coconut cream and bask in the warmth that a cinnamon leaf undercurrent brings. Relax and refresh yourself in your own little piece of paradise.
Secret Arts (formerly Dark Arts)
See my demo video below showing all that crazy diamond water at the end. ❤️
I might buy another one, but no more than one. It’s fun. The clean up really wasn’t as bad as I thought. I did have to use a shot of spray bleach afterwards to clean the tub but I was able to rub it off just by swiping it with hands, nothing too crazy.

The green coconut slime bomb is more nourishing and Yummy to sit in than this black one.

This has the Lush ‘Cinders’ scent.
When the muggles are getting you down and it feels like the dementors are looming, dabble in the dark arts with spicy cinnamon leaf oil and almond essential oil. Slytherin-to a hot bath and cast this spicy bomb into the water. Tendrils of black give way to love potion pink as thick, skin softening jelly spreads on the surface of the water. Soak in your personal invisibility cloak and revel in your moment of peace. Restore yourself before rising from the cinders, and be ready to take on the world once again.

Why not become a professor of Dark Arts? Sink into deep, inky black water and inhale a spellbinding Brazilian orange oil and spicy cinnamon leaf oil mist. As this mystifying Jelly Bomb fizzes it dissolves into a dark jelly which wraps around the skin, conditioning and nourishing it with mineral-rich seaweed and almond essential oil. Conjure up this enchanting soak and perplex witches and wizards with your bathtime sorcery.
I love the FEEL of the Slime in this bath bomb. It’s feels downright good when you squish it, if it wasn’t black and messy it would be even better.
I like the scent. Its not the best scent in the world but i dont hate it. Slight orange and slight cinnamon. I do Wish the scent was stronger.
It’s slippery feeling and i Love the Glitter.
As it dissolves in the tub it looks like bubbling hot tar and smoke. With PINK inside!
I love the concept. There is some clean up involved afterward. I’d buy one more, maybe, but it’s not one I would stock up on.
I would rate it a 3.5 out of 5 bath bomb.

Rocket Science
See my demo video below. This has a bright, lemon citrus fragrance.
What a gorgeous bath bomb. The interesting thing is that this bomb makes various dimensions of things happening. If one were to look at the water one could see layers; multi colored stars on the very bottom.

Then there is a multi-colored chunky glitter layer above the stars.
Then there’s a layer of silvery sparkes above that.
Then there is the blue, pink and purple colored foam layer from the fizzing bomb.
Gorgeous.
Here’s the 3 minute demo
The smells is nice, but nothing earth shattering. But the looks of this bomb in the water makes up for it.
I give this a 4.5 out of 5 rating.
Just to Clarify
See my 6 minute demo and review video of all five new masks below
To use, simply pinch off a piece of the mask and work to a paste between clean, dry hands. Apply to the face and let it work its magic for 5-10 minutes. Wash off with warm water or with a cloth.

A fruitful jelly with a slight scrub for those who like it just a bit rough; Just to Clarify is packed with an exotic fusion of fresh juices, like papaya, orange and grapefruit to refresh and brighten the skin. When using your hands to gently wash the mask away, you’ll start to feel the bamboo stem extract polishing the surface of your skin leaving it feeling super rejuvenated and clean.
Let’s get things cleared up.
Enzymic papaya juice brightens.
Bamboo stem exfoliates.
Grapefruit and bergamot oils lift the mood.
Fresh orange juice perks you up.
The Birth of Venus
5 out of 5
See my demo and review video below.

This is such a pretty color of blue. This is my favorite jelly mask of the five.
I love the texture of these new wash off face masks. Theyre like a firm mousse texture. And i love this scent. Its interesting that ive always loved this scent when it was used in the Lush Black Pearl scent. And trying this new face mask makes me fall in love with that scent all over again. And the color of Birth of Venus is pretty.

“When you want to feel born again, use this skin balancing masterpiece. Fresh sea water tones and refreshes skin, lavender oil calms and rose absolute soothes and balances. Carageenan seaweed gel is intensely softening and will leave skin irresistably soft.”
In 2017 Lush introduced 5 new jelly face masks at the time. The Birth of Venus, Bunny Moon, FOMO, 1000 Millihelens, and Just to Clarify.

To use, simply pinch off a piece of the mask and work to a paste between clean, dry hands. Apply to the face and let it work its magic for 5-10 minutes. Wash off with warm water or with a cloth.
I love the smell, it has the Lush ‘Black Pearl’ scent. This is not a citrus nor candy scent. It smells like chamomile tea, with frozen black currants as ice cubes, and a sprig of fresh lavender.

Heres my demo video below showing all the face masks that came out at the same time including The Birth of Venus.
This was the price of the Birth of Venus in 2017. And the Lush description below that. It sold out fairly quickly.
“Rule the planets (and your skin) with Birth of Venus; a silky, seaweedy face mask that helps to calm skin and gently tone with rose petal infusion. Dive into this jelly to discover replenishing sea water and antiseptic olibanum; with a lavender and blue chamomile bewitching fragrance.”
I had a bath with these Lush thingsc and i put some of the face mask on my face. The common note of these items are lavender. Not the same scent but sharing the one note.

When you want to feel born again, use this skin balancing masterpiece. Fresh sea water tones and refreshes skin, lavender oil calms and rose absolute soothes and balances. Carageenan seaweed gel is intensely softening and will leave skin irresistably Soft.
Lavender, Chamomile, Frankincense, myrrh.
Bunny Moon
See my demo and review below of all five masks
To use, simply pinch off a piece of the mask and work to a paste between clean, dry hands. Apply to the face and let it work its magic for 5-10 minutes. Wash off with warm water or with a cloth.
When you look at the moon, what do you see? Some see a face, some see a dragon, others see a bunny. When you want soft and strokable skin, this bunny is the one for you. Honey is antiseptic and moisturising, rose oil helps to soothe and balance while chamomile and marigold infusion calm the skin. A dash of gentle, cosy vanilla and benzoin resioid helps you feel comforted. You’ll be a happy bunny with calm and clear skin.
FoMo

Facial jelly. This has the same rose and Neroli as Lush ‘Skin Drink’ moisturizer.
To use, simply pinch off a piece of the mask and work to a paste between clean, dry hands. Apply to the face and let it work its magic for 5-10 minutes. Wash off with warm water or with a cloth.

There will be no fear of missing out on great skin with this little beauty. Gentle calamine powder calms and soothes while rose absolute balances for enviably clear skin. A touch of bright neroli evens skin tone and will have you feeling fine in no time.

Smaragadine
4 out of 5 rating

Smaragadine has a unisex scent; Patchouli, Mint, lavender, and Oakmoss.
Supertramp shower gel was made by combining two lush products; lush classic ‘Tramp’ shower gel and lush ‘Smaragadine’ bubble bath.
Ingredients: Water, Rose Petal, Lavender Flower and Peppermint Leaf Infusion, Perfume, Patchouli Oil, Organic Orange Peel, Petitgrain Oil, Pimento Berry Oil, Sandalwood Oil, Ginger Oil, Chlorophyllin

Lush Times: Smaragadine was originally a Cosmetics to Go product and it was hugely popular. In Retro Lush, Smaragadine is back with a vengeance! It’s our emerald-green bubble bath with the sensual scent of patchouli, sandalwood and ginger. Pour it under running bath-water for fluffy, foamy bubbles.

German Sausage Cleanser
No, it’s not made with sausage..it’s made to fool the eye and look like one though. This is a facial cleanser along the lines of Lush ‘Angels on Bare Skin’ and ‘Dark Angels’ facial cleansers. It’s used in the same way. You wet your face with warm water, break of a dime sized chunk, rub it between your fingers and smooth on your face. Using it to gently exfoliate your face.
Then rinse off with warm water.
This German Sausage is made with potatoes, and oatmeal, both of which are said to sooth red or bothered skin.
Basoil , sage, rosemary, oatmilk, lavender
Skin is soft and feels clean.
Kisskin (Mumkin in Love)
5 out of 5 rating.

See my tub demo video of this bubble bar below.

A cousin of ‘Mumkin’ and ‘Pumkin’ this pastel colored beauty was Made for Japan white day. I had a bath with these three Lush products because i wanted a pink and green theme.

This is pretty rare as far as Lush products go, in addition to Japan for a limited time this has only been made for one day, in the Uk, online only in the previous incarnation of the Lush Kitchen.

If and when this ever comes out again i’m definitely it rly getting at least one, because it’s so damn CUTE!

I’m so glad I can actually Use mine now since we’re getting a chance to buy new ones!

Lush said this is the same scent as their ‘Mumkin’ bubble bar: bergamot, lemon and Violet. Which is the same scent as their ‘Egg Hunt’ soap, which is the same as the ‘Razzle Dazzle’ bath oil and their ‘Cupid’ bath bomb. It’s a violet floral scent, that is only the slightest bit sweet, and has a fruity edge to it. Kind of a berryish type fruity.

Thundersnow
5 out of 5 rating. See my demo video below.

Out of 300+ Lush bath bombs, Thundersnow is in my top 20 Lush bath bombs of all time list.
Thundersnow is an actual phenomena that’s rare, when there’s a thunder storm while it’s snowing.
It was available exclusively at the 2017 Lush Summit in London.
Rumoured to come back for Christmas.
The scent is so good. Lightly sweet vanilla and mint.

Yellow Submarine
5 out of 5 rating – See my tub demo / review video of it below.
Gorgeous sparkle!
Not only am I a Beatles freak, but I like Coconut.
That smell is SO yummy. Like a coconut cream pie or pink colada.
I bought six from Lush UK

Below is a pic i took of Three (at the time) exclusive bath bombs from the Lush creative showcase.

This makes sense Such a gorgeous show in the tub!
I wish I had ten of these.

Yellow Submarine is one of those slow melting, creamy, multi-colored bath art bath bombs.
It has the colors yellow and pink.

Below are some ‘bath cocktails’ that i came up with. So the Happy Yellow Rabbit has coconut, pineapple (from the YS bomb) and Orange oil (from the Down the Rabbit Hole bubble bar and ‘Happy Talk’ bath oil.

Below is a bath cocktail i made called ‘Green Submarine’, made with Lush Yellow Submarine and Lush Green Coconut bath bomb.

Heres a bath cocktail i made with an Intergalactic bath bomb.

Below is my scent family photo showing the products Lush has made with the same scent.

Limited edition egg shape for Easter.

The normal octagonal shape of the experimenter

It’s a giant Experiementer bath bomb but in an egg shape. It smells earthy and smokey with vetiver and slightly sweet with tonka bean. It makes beautiful when it’s dizzying, making many colors, leading to a dark green water with gold sparkles in the water.

Revelation
4 out of 5 rating
The new 2017 Revelation has the scent of Berry Berry Christmas, not the Potion scent as the one in my review below is made from. Berry berry christmas and thus the new Revelation bath oil, have a lushious, fruity, orange scent. This 2017 revelation isn’t spicy, nor floral, as the one i reviewed below is. The one i had was just a prototype. 🙂
The prototype from the Lush Summit has a spicy scent. I like the scent. It smells like carnation oil and cloves and was made in the Lush ‘Potion’ lotion scent, also having rose, tangerine.
The new one has orange and bergamot in it and I quite like the new scent. the new one is also a 4 out of 5 rating.
See my tub demo of it video below

See my demo video of this gorgeous thing in the tub. Also see lush tell us the meaning of this bath bomb below.
Update; these are now on the Lush Australia site. And i read on there that they’ll be coming to all Lush stores, soon.
These bombs were initially Exclusive to the 2016 Lush Creative Showcase event, which is where I got mine.

Contains myrrh, cinnamon and black pepper. and it’s got gray silver glitter on the outside.
This changes colors in the water two or three times.

Butterball body conditioner
5 out of 5 rating
see my sink demo video below

In 2017 Lush UK decided to let us choose our favorite scents to make body conditioners. So ultimately the 6 that got the most votes were chosen to make.
The pots of Body Conditioner are massive, its twice the size of a regular black pot of Lush body lotion.
Big Blue
Butterball
Sultana
Lord of Misrule
Lemony Flutter
Comforter
They were extra large size. About twice the size of a regular pot of Lush lotion. Heres an example, the pot of Sultana body lotion is on the right and the pot of sultana body conditioner is on the left.

There two more products in this scent family besides the ones in my photo below. Bear Soap and valentines heart shaped bath bomb.

These body conditioners are very moisturizing, and Butterball is even more so because the butterball bath bomb has cocoa butter in it whereas the other lush bubble bars at the time didnt.
So this was perfect for me because i have very dry skin and i live in the desert. Of course this smelled heavenly. Keep in my mind that ive always loved the butterball scent.
Here are some scent family photos I took of all the Lush products made with this butterball scent. Since ive taken this picture Lush has made a couple more products with this scent.

Here’s a demo video I made of mine
