This has a pretty light dusting of white glitter only here and there on the outside of the bomb. However i wasnt able to see any glitter in the water to speak of.
This is so refreshing, and the blue color is so.pretty. ididnt see a whole lot of glitter in the water though.
Im sorry about the noise of the wind in the video, it was VERY windy when i took this bath. 😊
I like these style of ‘Amazeball’ bath bomb, which all have a hollowed out core with other tiny bath bombs inside, and a top.
Love Locket,. Fly Me To The Moon, Snow Fairy, Don’t Let the Bells End, and Holly Golightly are all this type of hollowed out bath bomb.
The time has come to be true to yourself. The Snow Fairy is here to shine a light on the courage, kindness, and confidence within you.
How to use: Fill your bath, sprinkle the bath confetti, add the shell and/or stopper and enjoy a fabulously softening experience. With a new 3-in-1 design, perfect for your Secret Santa pick.
How to store: Keep cool and dry before you are ready for a sweet-scented light show.
Did you know? Over 25 years ago we invented the bath bomb. Our fizzing bicarb beauties provide an immersive aromatherapeutic bathtime like no other. All this and no packaging too…
This is a fun 3 in 1 bath bomb for Christmas 2021. There are three pieces, and each piece has its own color and scent. The yellow sleigh is comforter scent which smells like ripe berries. The red santa is made with Snow Fairy scent. And the Butterbear smells like Butterball.
I took a series of progressive photos below showing how it looks as it dissolves.
Its one of those fast fizzy bonbs that lush make, not the slow, foamy ones. That said, for being a madly fizzing kind it does make decent bath art because of the different colored bombs.
The outcome is a deep orange bath water.
Id rate this a 5 out of 5 because i like the new 3 in 1 idea, and for the idea of making different parts to have different scents. So you can use parts of it per bath or you can use it all at once.
5 out of 5 rating (WOW) See my TubbDemo & Scent description video below.
The first time i saw this, on a lush store instagram account, and i thought to myself ‘oh my God what a beautiful bomb.’
Lush description: Watch colours of orange, red and gold glide across your bath as you sink into skin softening waters with rice starch and coconut milk powder. Lie back and listen to the firework-like crackle whilst you inhale the scent of decadent floral rose and rich cardamom.
Rangoli is an art form originating in the Indian subcontinent on certain holidays, in which patterns are created on the floor or a tabletop using materials such as powdered lime stone, red ochre, dry rice flour, coloured sand, quartz powder, flower petals, and coloured rocks.
The smell is delicate, but GORGEOUS. Pure rose, cardamom (which i love), mandarin oil, almond essential oil, coconut powder, benzoin. It a delicate, softly sweet rose, a drop of fragrant and yummy cardamom and a half drop of almond essential oil.
As it starts foaming and dissolving a lovely striped pattern of gold, orange and red foam appeared. The popping candy is slow popping, it doesn’t distract from the poetic loveliness of this bomb.
I don’t know why i took it out to set it on the side of the tub and take a picture. But here’s that. 😄
This is a slow melter type of lush bomb. I love the gradient colors of foamy stripes in my photo below.
Golden glitter appears in the water when the bomb is all dissolved.
It’s altogether lovely, romantic, festive and yummy.
Unfortunately for my extensively dry skin It’s not the most moisturizing shower gel. that’s the only reason it’s a 4 and not a 5.
See my Jolly Demo/Description/Rating Video below
This is a different scent for a Lush shower gel. It has Orange, cinnamon, clove. I thought that because of the ingredients that this has it would smell like Lush ‘Hot Toddy’, Lush ‘Glögg’ or even Lush ‘Taai Taai’ shower gel. Its not like Lush ‘Ponche’ shower gel either.
It doesn’t smell like any of those. Nor does it smell like any of the Lush orangey shower gels. I mean..it does smell orangey but not *just* orangey.
in the video below i squeeze the gel onto a plate and tilt the plate so you can see how slow it falls
It has a light spice to it. Its refreshing but has a little something to it. Its more of a full bodied scent than most citrus orange scents.
I like it a lot. Its festive and well, Jolly! 😊
Oh, and there is no glitter in this shower gel.
I would definitely suggest this shower gel.
I had this wonderful shower gel that i wrote about here called ‘Taai Taai’ i bought it from a UK lushie in 2006. Lush made it for their Dutch Lushies. The ingredients sounded a bit similar. But nope, not at all similar.
Description: This is a special shower gel made especially for the Dutch Lushies. It’s based on the Sinterklas celebration. It was also available in the Leeds shop in England as a special for their party.
Jolly is one of three new Christmas 2021 Lush shower gels
Time to scrub up? Pop into the shower and let the sea salt and prickly pear oil do the hard work, leaving you with softer skin. Listen out for crackle-ingly good shower ASMR with this natural exfoliator.
you all asked and no, my arm didnt have any glitter after i used it. 😊
How to use: Wet your bar, rub between your hands and scrub using the pressure you like. Cut in two before you use or use whole bar for an indulgent pear-scented treat.
How to store: Keep somewhere cool and dry until ready. This is enough for two full body scrubs so pop in a dish between uses.
i was very excited to buy golden pear scrub. i love all the lush golden pear products. It’s made with real pear. And i cannot resist bath bombs that look like fruit. And a gold one? Yeah, i’m not made of wood people.
If you’ve tried the Golden Pear body spray or jelly, you know that these two have a very strong astringent alcohol-y note to it. This isn’t the case with the scrub. The scrub smells more like the Golden Pear soap, bath bomb and bubble bar.
After using my skin is smooth, soft and moisturized, while also smelling like a pear. It’s conditioning without being too much.
As you can see in my video my arm didnt have any noticeable glitter when i was done.
Here’s the current Golden Pear body scrub only available in the 2025 Advent calendar. I don’t think it’s as pretty as the former Golden Pear body scrub, which looked like an actual Golden Pear.
Heres a picture of the current golden pear scrub. Its just a scrubby mixture in a container. Not as pretty.
Golden Pear scent family products soap, bubble bar, bath bomb, different style bubble bar, solid mouthwash tablets, body spray, and the jelly isnt in this photo
This bath bomb has a minty scent. Lush says its the same scent ss their Salt & Peppermint Bark scrub. This is a picture i took of the Lush Salt and Peppermint Bark scrub, incase youve tried it youll know what hey hollywood smells like.
Its alright. Its certainly pretty. I like when Lush changes it up sometumes. For instance Lush made tge Luxury Lush Pud one year with the twilight scent and one year with the Comforter scent. I liked surprises like that. But…. This wasnt just changing the scent of something. This is melding the look of two completely different bath bombs. Which can be fun. Except when they replace the mermaid blue and gold water of Golden Wonder to a peach colored water with no sparkle.
Lush has released the ‘Golden Wonder’ bomb for Christmas every year for the past 10+ years. Why? Because its very popular. Whats not to love, it was a gold present.
So while i like a change i do wish they would bring the two original bombs back next Christmas 2022.
This is to replace the Golden Wonder Christmas bomb which has been sold every year for Christmas for the last 15 years or so. It looked like a gold Christmas present. And it had the Lush Champagne Snow Showers/Celebrate scent, which is a fizzy grapefruit or orange scent.
I try to show the colors as it fizzes in my picture below.
This Golden Pudding is like if Lush Luxury Pud and Golden Wonder had a baby.
3.5 out of 5 rating. Having the Lush Sleepy/Twilight scent. See my relaxing 3 minute Tub demo video below.
Tiny purple Lavender petals which Lush has coated in purple bath oil. I love when Lush is innovative.
I’m going to use it in the next couple of days and will record a Tub Demo Video of this Sleepy Bear so we can see what it does in the tub and what color it makes.
I would rate this a 3.5 out of 5 rating It’s cute, it has the Sleepy lavender, ylang ylang and tonka bean scent. It has oatmeal in it for soothing the skin. It doesn’t color the water. No glitter.
I had one together with a Lush Hippopotamus bath bomb.
This is one of three shower gels for Christmas 2021.
The ingredients list lists raisins as the first ingredients. Raisins? I don’t recall any raisins being in the original Plum Duff bath bomb but. 🤷🏼♀️
i LOVE this scent. It’s like a sexy but berryish and slightly sweet. Not citrussy, but fruity somewhat like The Comforter is fruity. Its got that same note that is in the Comforter shower gel that some people dont like. It’s a different scent than all the other Lush scent. At one time the bath bomb was my FAVORITE Lush product. It was made in 1999. 😊it’s got tangerine and sandalwood in it as i recall.
the bath bomb smelled like sexy sandalwood mixed with cotton candy or something.
But this Plum Duff shower gel isnt exactly like the original. But its still nice. Its a different scent for Lush Christmas shower gel, which i appreciate.
Here is the Plum Duff scent family Plum Duff bath bomb, Sugar Plum bath bomb, Plum Duff letters bath bomb, and It’s a Date bubble bat
3.5 out of 5 rating. See my video below where i (try) to describe it.
The scent of the Jilted Elf shower jelly used to have honey, vodka and sweet Fig in it. This jelly scent is such a very different scent. It’s a cacophony of notes but somehow they work together. figs, ginger, cinnamon, grapefruit, vodka and honey. it’s both fruity and spicy. i’ll be buying the christmas body spray.
All of those ingredients in the jelly aren’t in the ingredient list for the body spray.
The Body spray is also a challenging scent for me to to describe. It’s different than anything lush has made. It’s Quirky. It’s much better when it dries down. When it’s wet it’s more difficult for me to smell the notes. It’s got cinnamon, grapefruit, ginger and osmanthus, orange.
Jilted Elf body spray becomes sweeter and more resinous once it dries down. It’s got light medium staying power, but not much throw.
Lush description:
“Revel in this playful blend of sharp grapefruit to perk you up, and spicy cinnamon to get the blood pumping. Don’t leave this one behind this Christmas…”
Someone in my youtube comments described the scent well: Jalapeño Jelly Bellies
How to use: Spritz all over the body, avoiding the underarm area, for an instant pick-me-up!”
Its purple instead of green and it has a different scent than the previous years citrus scented Alien. The purple one has the damp squid scent.
The green ‘Alien’ bubble bar. Made for the first time for Winter Holiday 2021.
The thing about the Alien bubble bar is that you have to use it before it starts fading in color. This is because the color of the water won’t be this lovely bright green color, instead it will be a dark yellow color.
If the green color fades a bit the color of the water is going to be this yellow brown color, so getting a fresh one and using it right away is a good idea.
When the bar hasnt faded the water is more green
the scent is so nice! it’s a citrus scent with a green note.
Prepare to be transported to another world with mountains of uplifting and zesty bubbles. New dimensions await as neon waters refresh and revive with uplifting bergamot and litsea cubeba.
How to use: Crumble a little or the whole thing under running water for juicy, fruity neon water and out of this world bubbles.
How to store: Keep cool and dry until ready for UFO sightings and extra-terrestrial bathing.
Lush Pumpkin Spice soap. This soap was actually an exclusive in the October 2020 Lush Kitchen Subscription box last year. Im glad they made it for anyone to buy this year.
It smells just like pumpkin pie. Its the same as the Lush ‘Pumpkin Spice’ lip scrub from Lush Halloween 2020.
It’s beautifully moisturizing. It feels and smells scrumptious. I would suggest it and i would rate this a 5 out of 5 rating.
Up for the vote for the July 2021 Lush Kitchen Subscription Box.
The Kitchen subscription box site calls it ‘Igloo’. No. This is incorrect. It’s not Igloo. ‘Igloo’ is the name of a lush soap, and it’s also the name of a solid bath oil.
Originally made as a limited edition in store and online for Christmas 2011.
This was never remade in the previous incarnation of the Lush Kitchen. Up for the vote for the July 2021 Lush Kitchen Subscription Box.
It’s a pine scent. I wish it was a minty scent.
This doesn’t age well. It’s a nice soft consistency with large exfoliating pieces of sugar. It gets dry after a week or so and becomes hard and too scratchy to use on your skin.
Created exclusively (along with five other lotions that we voted on) in 2015 for the previous incarnation of the Lush Kitchen. Never sold to the public. I remember buying 3 at that time.
Up for the vote for the July 2021 Lush subscription box.
Unfortunately, especially because i am around photography and video equipment a lot, it was way too greasy for my skin. I left greasy spots all over every table that i sat at for dinner, it left a greasy residue on everything i touched. Wonderful smell! But i just couldn’t use it, so i held a giveaway and gave away the other two unopened pots i had bought. I like the Yog Nog body milk much more as it’s not so thick and oily as the lotion in the pot.
Made as a limited edition for Christmas 2010-2011 only. And remade for the previous incarnation of the Lush Kitchen in 2014. It’s up for the vote again for the Lush Kitchen July 2021 Subscription Box
This has a nice, Christmas punch kind of scent. Having cinnamon, orange juice, Okum, buchu oil, davana oil, and petigrain oil. All very fruity notes. The original version had tequila in it (like the punch that it’s named after), but for some reason they took it out. When they did that it changed the smell. It lost its bright note, but it’s still a nice scent.
Lush made a perfume of this exclusively for one day only on the Uk website in 2014.
Lush ‘Icing on the Cake’ smoothie rhoulade had the ponche scent as well.
Lush Times: Ay! Ay! Ay! It’s Christmas! Do not fear the winter blue, dear amigos! Take a shot of this zesty tequila and lime gel in your shower for amorning fiesta, sure to wake even the sleepiest morning monsters. Ponche was invented after a member of Lush HQ traveled through Mexico and enjoyed their traditional fruity party punch. Bring on the tequila!
hHere’s a demo and review video i did of this shower gel.
There is also a white bubble bar called “THE North Pole” which is differently scented and different looking than this pink and white peppermint and chocolate scented soap.
@lush North Pole soap Made for one or two years as a limited edition Christmas soap in stores around 2009-2011 and on line.
It’s up for the vote in the July 2021 Lush Kitchen Subscription Box.

The pink part is fragranced with a chocolately or cocoa, candyish fragrance, the white with a refreshing woody, minty fragrance.
I’ve added the second photo of the store version of it. In the stores it was a 6 inch wide x 2 feet pole. you could pick any piece you wanted; a huge round white slice or a huge pink slice or a piece with both pink and white. The store pieces were round, and the online or kitchen version rectangle.
It also came as a slice of the white part with a thinner pink part on top if you bought it online. The pink part smells a bit like a Peppermint Crisp bar, whilst the white part smells more like a mint flavoured rock candy. The original soap was a 6″ (or thereabouts) diameter pole shape that alternated between two Pink and two White sections.
Lush Times: How else will Santa find his way to Lush without a North Pole soap to guide his way?! This is for everybody who love to wash with soap (and frankly, who doesn’t?) This soap is fabulous for people who like stimulating, refreshing showers – with just a hint of luxurious indulgent sweetness. One slice is never enough – so buy two! The pink is fragranced with a chocolately chewy fragrance, the white with a refreshing woody, minty fragrance.
This is a new creation by Jack Constantine. It was made exclusively for the Lush Kitchen May 2021 Subscription Box.
It’s a slow melty kind of fizzer. It has the scent of the Lush ‘Inhale’ fragrance.
It’s pink and yellow with smatterings of purple. It’s got a diamond pattern on the surface of the bomb. It’s infused with diamond dust-fine, biodegradable gold glitter.
it makes the water an opaque, silky, creamy, peach colored water.
