Tropical Jungle

This is a woody, green forest-y, floral .

This lotion was made as an exclusive, in the same scent and ingredients as the popular Lush solid hair conditioner ‘Jungle’

The lotion was the third of seven exclusive Lush product to be made with the Jungle scent

While i love the Jungle scent, this lotion wasn’t quite what i was hoping for. It’s got the slightly sweet note that the other jungle products have, so this lotions scent seems flat. Also, it’s very greasy. I had to wipe my arms and hands off with a towel because after 40 minutes my hands and arms were still greasy and it got all over the table, my camera, my phone, and anything i touched.

Ingredients: Water (Aqua), Almond Oil (Prunus dulcis), Cocoa Butter (Theobroma cacao), Glycerine, Stearic Acid, Triethanolamine, Ylang Ylang Oil (Cananga odorata), Vetivert Oil (Vetiveria zizanoides), Cypress Oil (Cupressus sempervirens), Cedarwood Oil (Juniperus virginiana), Cetearyl Alcohol, *Limonene, *Linalool, *Coumarin, *Cinnamal, Perfume, Methylparaben, Propylparaben.
* Occurs naturally in essential oils Vegan

I also have a Jungle hair conditioner, jungle liquid perfume, jungle jelly, a rare “Lushfest 2012′ Jungle massage bar, and a rare Lushfest 2012 jungle tree soap. I’ll have pages of these individual items as well, eventually.

American Cream lotion

This American Cream boy lotion smells just like the American Cream hair conditioner. A some bit of vanilla and some bright lavender and herby sage.

 

Ingredients: Water (Aqua), Almond Oil (Prunusdulcis), Cocoa Butter (Theobroma cacao), Glycerine,Stearic Acid, Triethanolamine, Vanilla Absolute (Vanilla planifolia),Clary Sage Oil (Salvia sclarea), Lavender Oil (Lavandula angustifolia), Benzoin Resinoid (Styraxtonkinensispierre), Cetearyl Alcohol,*Linalool, *Limonene,Couramin, Perfume, Methylparaben, Propylparaben

The Comforter body lotion

Ingredients: Water , Sweet Almond Oil , Cocoa Butter , Glycerine, Stearic Acid, Treithanolamine, Bergamot Oil, Cassis Absolute , Cypress Oil , Cetearyl alcohol, Limonene, Linalool, Perfume, Mathylparaben, Propylparaben

Review: If you like “The Comforter” bubble bar, you will love this, full of Cassis it has a lovely somewhat raspberry scent. It differs form batch to batch but its a medium thick consistency.

The scent doesn’t stay on the skin after awhile but that’s okay.

Debuted in April 2015 This smells like orange blossom and neroli, not orange. It’s light and doesn’t leave a film like some thicker hand creams do.
As far as perfumes, if it came down to two, i like Frozen’s scent as a perfume more than love and light, i explain why in this 4 minute video i made of Love and Light hand cream up close.

Potion

Lush Times 2005 description: Potion smells of roses and tangerines but mostly of carnations. We’ve been asked to bottle the scent and sell it as a perfume but until that happens, the best way to smell of Potion is to smooth this wonderful lotion all over your body. This has the added advantage of moisturizing your skin with a light touch of almond oil and cocoa butter, softening it with rose petal infusion and toning it with fresh tangerine. Take it on holiday as an after sun too.

Scent family includes Santa Monica bath bomb, Ruby Red Slippers bubble bar, Potion perfume Holiday bubble bar, and “Oops Almond Kisses’ moisturizer.

 

Review: Potion is lighter and the carnations smell kind of spicy like cloves and then there’s the addition of the tangerine and is one of the sexiest summer scents. I advise you to find some. Carnation is great.

Ingredients: Rose Petal Infusion (Rosa centifolia), Almond Oil (Prunus dulcis), Cocoa Butter (Theobroma cacao), Glycerine, Stearic Acid, Triethanolamine, Fresh Tangerines (Citrus reticulata), Rose Absolute (Rosa centifolia), Carnation Absolute (Dianthus carophyllus), Tangerine Oil (Citrus reticulata), Cetearyl Alcohol, Perfume, Methylparaben, Propylparaben.
