The Magik products, all with the name Magik are different than the other CBD products (like 4:20 bomb, joint massage bar, botanomancy bubble bar, etc) that Lush makes. Two different groups of products.

Lush UK has made a CBD shower gel a few months ago called Magik.

Turns out this has the Lush ‘Kerbside Violet’ scent. I love it.

Here is my scent description video and i also show pouring some into a plate close up.

Magik shower gel reminds me of Lush Tramp shower gel, but imo it’s better. Lush made this a cbd infused gel. The hemp seed gives it a dark green mysterious forest vibe. And then the 3 florals are added. omg. beautiful. it’s a retro vibe.

what a surprise this shower gel is. A kind Lushie who lives in England bought one of these for me and sent it to me.

This smells amazing. Earthy, Dark green, herbal, and floral.

it’s a beautiful blueish green color with silver shimmer.

It smells to me like if you had some Tramp Lush shower gel, removed the patchouli and then added jasmine, violet leaf and ylang ylang.

I took a picture of the lush 4:20 bath bomb and the Lush Botanomancy bubble bar. both have cbd.

Magik shower gel smells different than the 4:20 bath bomb. Magik is dark and mysterious. Like my description of Tramp-this does reminds me of a fairy glade.

Unlike tramp this doesn’t have any patchouli. it does have violet leaf, Jasmine, and ylang ylang florals. and there is also bright, herbal blue chamomile.

I absolutely LOVE this shower gel.

In my picture below i lined up my favorite 10 Lush shower gels of the last six months.

And then of those top ten of the last six months these are my top 5: Magik, Posh Chocolate, Skinny Dip, Keep it Fluffy, and Snuggles. I forgot Yummy Yummy Yummy in my picture.

This Turtle Power body scrub bar is SO good. Its made with the Lush Blackberry Bomb scent, which is also called the Sultana scent.

Peace Love & Pizza is a bath bomb , with a yellow bath melt mixture on top. The bath melt mixture is made with the Lush ‘Turmeric Latte” scent.

Theres also a pepperoni soap on top.

Im adding more pics after i finish running an errand real quick.

The Lush Krang jelly has the Lush Conga shower jelly scent. Its kind of a creamy berryish scent.

This solid shampoo bar smells SO good. The Lush Smuggler’s Soul fragrance. sandalwood, cedarwood and lemongrass.

Banana Co Wash

Lush created this new co-wash bar and it became available on the Lush website June/July 2024.

I saw this when it was on the lush app so i bought it because i like anything lush makes with banana in it.

It’s such a cheerful color of yellow. Lush says that Bananas are moisturizing. I know the Sympathy for Skin body lotion has bananas and it makes my skin feel good.

Lush hasn’t done many banana things for the hair, so im excited to try this tonight.

It smells good. i did catch a whiff of banana.

It makes onky a nano bit of lather. I have long thick hair so i have to use alot.

I feel like if you have normal hair that is thin to medium-thin hair this would work well for you.

If you have normal hair i would suggest this. 👍😊

I have long thick, coarse, wavy hair like everyone in my Hispanic family does. And i choose to wear it long, so my hair can be a total pain in the ass in the amount of product i need to apply. And my hair needs more in order to be able to comb/brush it without breaking it. Its unfortunate that this Banana co wash alone doesnt do it for my hair but it sure has a nice feeling to it, and nice smelling.

Im still going to use it but ill have to use it along with my regular, non-Lush hair care.

The shower bomb is fun but couldve been half the size. But then again some folks like that its bigger for the cost.

In my photo below im showing that the green canister shower bomb is made with the Lush ‘Junk’ fragrance, which is also shared by the lush halloween ‘bat art’ (a play on the term bath art) bath bomb.

Thos fun bar has the same scent of the lush ‘Rainbow’ fun bar. Lime, orange, lavender.

The shredder soap is the Demon in the Dark scent. Icy spicy apple.

The Go Green scent is a classic green lush fragrance from way back in the day. People qere so bummed when lush discontinued this. I love it!

The menu went live a couple weeks ago.

The ‘Color, Clarity, Carat, Cut’ bath bomb.

Those are jewelers terms for the things they look for in a diamond.

One of the products from the Lush/Bridgerton collab. 😊 The scent is so amazing. Its kind of yummy but mostly pretty. Its one of those scents that you keep picking up so you can hold it up to your nose to smell it.

Smells so amazing. It has the same scent as the Lush ‘Elephant in the Tearoom’ bath bomb scent.

I love the silver sparkle on the outside of it.

Its got two shades of blue and one shade of pink.

I was surprised that it was one of those bath bombs like the original style that fizzes loudly and then totally dissolves in about 9 seconds.

Lush description: ‘Ready to make your debut? This dazzling bath bomb is a cut above the rest, with sparkling plastic-free shimmer to help you soak in serenity before a big event. Bergamot and lemon myrtle oils will leave you feeling bright and cheerful, while benzoin resinoid adds a creamy vanilla-like aroma to round things out with a sweet, almost tea-like scent. It made pretty bath art but only for a few seconds.

The end color though was a gorgeous shade of blue that i dont think ive experienced with any lush bath bomb. Beautiful.

When i saw this bath bomb i knew this was one of the first Lush things i was going to buy for Mother’s Day.

I love the shape of it and the pink, yellow and blue colors.

I didnt expect this rainbow 😍

The scent is very citrussy. There is grapefruit, lemon myrtle and a bit of floral from ylang ylang. Its not sweet at all.

Review: I was upset about Happy For Sad shower gel leaving until I heard Happy Hippy was brought back. HH was a shower gel before Lush was called “Lush”, back when Mark Constantine owned “Costmetic to Go” (CTG). It is a pink grapefruit shower gel. It’s refreshing and grapefruity, It’s not too strong, not too light. Great for a morning “get you going” shower. My husband liked the smell, he said “Hey, it’s not bad”. You know this is a large step for him so it must be pretty good. Three new citrus shower gels this same year came out and not one of them smells the same. Well done Lush.

LT 2006 Description: A long time ago in a land far, far away… actually it was in 29 High Street, Poole Dorset, now Lush’s home, the Lush creative team used to run a company called Cosmetics to Go. One of their best selling products was our pink grapefruit shower gel, Happy Hippy. When CTG’s former customers heard that we’d finally bought back the rights to our old products they started haranguing us with emails, letters and bricks through the window, begging us to make their favourite, joyously refreshing gel again. We did, we tested it ourselves and we decided that it was as brilliant as we remembered. So here it is, use it and step singing from the shower. (That bit about the bricks through the window isn’t true.)

This is a beautiful cone shaped bubblebar with a deep turquoise color. It’s a VERY fragrant bubble bar. When Lush uk made them originally (Lush North America/U.S. didnt make any) the scent filled up my whole house! Its got a incense-y, and woody scent. And it was the deepest blue.

International (UK) website sold the original Blue and then later the White after a request from UK forum members to save cost and make one with no colorants.

Rainbows and Waterfalls soap was made for Easter. Its made with watermelon juice, neroli and violet. Its a fresh but pretty scent.

Its such a pretty soap. Lush has only made 3 or 4 products with a rainbow effect.

Theres nothing not to like about this soap. The scent, the look are so good. I would byy another one, thats why i give it a 5 out of 5 rating.

Eggs on Legs has multiple components and if you like you can have two baths with it.

The bomb egg piece has multi colored discs throughout.

For my tub demo, as always, i used the whole thing.

Eggs on Legs has the fragrance of Lush The Comforter, a yummy berryish scent.

This bath bomb makes Lots of pretty bath art .

These multiple colors make the end water color a beautiful purple.

This bath bomb has no glitter.

The scent is nice and strong.

Saltbomb

The ad for this bomb is kind of creepy. I didnt know what it a meant so i googled.

Saltburn is a film written and directed by the Oscar-winning film-maker Emerald Fennell, about a young man who causes chaos when he’s invited to stay at a stately home. And ewww ….there is a scene where the charactrr Barry Keoghan watches Jacob Elordi masturbate in the bath, then sneaks in and licks the plughole. And thats what the lush pictures on their site that i attached below mean.

I recorded a 2 minute video of this in the tub before i took a bath.

This bath bomb has a nice comforting scent. Its got salt in it. It makes the water milky because of the coconut milk.

Benefits:

– Coconut milk powder makes silky, milky waters

– Coarse sea salt makes things a little salty

– Brazilian orange oil lifts you up

– Proudly packaging-free

How to use: 

Pop this little pinch of paradise into your bath to create those silky, milky waters.

I enjoyed taking a bath with it. It doesnt put on a show like other lush bath bombs but its nice for a change.

Lush New ‘Alina’ perfume

I’ll just jump right in…..

This new Alina perfume is good.

I havent loved a Lush perfume this much in awhile. Since Tender is the Night and Shade. All i want to do is wear this Alina fragrance constantly and sniff my arm constantly.

The perfumer, who’s name is Alina, talks about how she created this perfume. Ill give a link below. Its honestly fascinating. Wgen i smelled it I got exactly what she was describing. I like the concept. And she brilliantly made this perfume fit the concept.

Alina is a wizard.

There is floral, there is frankincense. I love everything that has frankincense in it. And i love jasmine.

My nose focuses on the jasmine, frankincense, orris and vanilla. With just a hint of pink peppercorn.

So nice.

I’ve mentioned this before in other Lush reviews that if Lush puts orris in a product chances are i will love it.

There is patchouli in here as well. Normally whenever patchouli is around its pretty noticeable. Not so with Alina. It’s very light.

The patchouli, pink peppercorn and clove bud oil combine nicely.

And one of my favorite notes, sandalwood, is in here as well. This perfume has some of my favorite perfumery notes in it.

I bought the solid version of Alina. It seems to have sone decent staying power on my skin. I can still smell it on me a couple of hours after i put a small amount on my wrists and neck. This is a perfume that doesnt change on me as it dries down, and that’s a good thing.

I’m not sure im going to spend some money on a bottle of the Alina spray perfume. Only because i already have a ridiculous amount of lush perfumes.

If i do buy a bottle of Alina I’ll add that to this page. The U.S. gets the perfume for Mother’s Day which is in May.

Alina was created by Lush perfumer of the same name, who was inspired by the generations of women that came before her. Alina created three distinct fragrances, each one representing a different generation born in the last 100 years, before blending them together to create a multi-layered and timeless scent. She named the fragrance Alina – a name given to her by her grandmother.

You’ll be greeted with a sweet and fresh first impression, thanks to Alina’s bergamot, pink pepper and clove bud oil, along with warm amber and vanilla. Then comes a more floral, sweet, and powdery centre with jasmine and orris butter, before finally an undercurrent of frankincense, patchouli, and sandalwood leave a deep and woody lasting impact.

Easter Turtle

Lush made this shower jelly for Easter 2024.

Its a beautiful color of green., two or three shades of green.

Lush How to use: 
“Sweep this seaweed surfer over your body and hair to create rich hydrating suds. Use at room temperature, cool in the fridge, or even in the freezer for the ultimate oceanic shower!”

Its so cute. I love turtles.

Some people use the shower jellies whole in the shower like soap. Some cut them in large pieces and use one of the pieces in the shower like a soap. And some cut a larger piece and chop that up into tiny pieces, then put so the pieces in a plastic seive, then hold the seive under the tub faucet and when the water stream hits it it will make foam in the tub. And the foam will smell good and it wont color the water.

Some have even come up with a way to put the whole thing in a blender with othrr liquids and blend it until it becomes somewhat like the consistency of shower gel.

Easter Turtle is a..fresh, clean scent with a touch of floral, earthiness, andvspice. Seaweed, Myrrh, Orange Flower, and Cinnamon leaf oil. I dont smell any of these as notes, it just blends together to form the scent.

Its the same scent as Apple Crumble bubble bar, and I can resist everything but Temptation shower gel.

I changed this from a 5 to a 4. Only because its not one i would stock up on.

This is for Easter 2024

Its fragrance is made with lime, benzoin and coconut milk.

No glitter.

Its colors are blue and pink, which combine to make a great color.

The coconut in this makes the water milky and its softening.

I’d give it a 4 out of 5 rating. Mostly because i love the end result in the water, and the comforting scent.

Demon in the Shower gel

Demon in the Dark scent is a mint apple clove scented shower gel. Spicy apples. What a wonderful thing.

The shower gel was made years after the soap was made. The soap was a regular year round store product for many years, thenlush discontinued it to make room for new soaps. The shower gel was an exclusive Lush product only available for one day in the UK on line retail site. And the UK LushKitchen once included the shower gel in our subscription box.

LT 2006 Description: Demon in the Dark is made with fresh, organic apple juice and an infusion of mint. This makes it stimulating for the skin and for your nose; just wait until you smell this one! Give it a big sniff and the dark green Demon gets straight up your nose and gives your head a blast of fresh, minty scent. It’s a devil of a good cleanser, with warming clove bud oil, revitalising peppermint and astringent apple. Wash your hair with Washday Greens, put on a Mask of Magnaminty and scrub up with Demon in the Dark for the Full Minty.

I took a picture of both.

Review: This is a minty and spicy shower gel with apple juice added. It smells more minty than anything, but with a spicy, clove note that goes well with the mint.  It’s both cold and hot if that makes sense.  It’s minty but not sweet minty and it’s refreshing. I think everyone should try this at least once.

There is a black covering or “rind” that can be peeled off, or you can leave it on. Lushies suggest that you put the bar in the freezer and it will be easier to peel if off.

It’s a nice spearmint soap with a lovely apple note as well.

GlitterboX Lush ‘Classy Diva’ shower gel

This was introduced in a 2023 Collab.

Well, i havent used a Lush shower gel that i absolutely hate in a long time.

I had initially rated this a 1 out of 5, but i decided to give it a break because of the bright yellow color, which we dont see that often in a Lush shower gel. Thus i raised it to a 2 out if 5. Just a reminder that anything below a 3 means i wouldnt recommend.

So yeah, im sorry to anyone who loved this shower gel. I do not like this scent. yuk yuk yuk. Its so incredibly Bitter that i can barely sniff it. BITTER. Theres nothing renotely fruity, nor floral in this shower gel.

I didnt even have to read the ingredients to know that there was Petitgrain in this. As far as i’m concerned if lush puts petitgrain as one of the main ingredients, they better be putting something else thats stronger smelling with it. Which brings me to a question; as some of you know i fell in love with Plum Rain the moment i first opened the lid and smelled it. I really really like Plum Rain. So WHY do i tolerate the Petitgrain thats in Plum Rain but i dont tolerate Classy Diva GlitterX shower gel?

I’m guessing its because plum rain is paired with orange and plum, instead of only grapefruit with classy diva.

I can’t even smell it even one more time much less shower with it again.

And Lush made a body spray to go with this GliiterX shower gel…No comment.

This seems like a forest theme. I could be wrong. Not sure how Nevermind the Ballistics enters into this theme. 😊

Birch soap was only gotten by people who attended the 2018 Lush ‘Creative Showcase’ event.

Its exclusive.

Green Man was a regular year long item and hasnt been made since 1999 when it was discontinued. Ive never used it.

It’s rare.

Furze. Lush originally made a bath oil and a perfume called Furze around 2014. The bath oil was only available at the Oxford Street superstore for about a year. I think after that it was available at certain Lush stores in England. Coconut. Limited Edition. The perfume was available everywhere and was discontinued around 2015/2016 i believe.

Discontinued Regular year round store item though I dont believe Lush ever made a solid perfume of this.

Guardian of the Forest scrub has never been made. Only the bath bomb, which was available at all stores, and the shower gel, which was only made one time for one day and only on line.

Nevermind the Ballistics. This was a regular year round store item bomb…i think. It may have been a limited edition holiday item. I cant remember, which doesnt happen very often. If i remember ill update. I LOVED this bath bomb.
