The Enchanter

Calacas scent

This bath bomb was made in the “Calacas” fragrance. having the same neroli, frankincense (olibanum), lime. It smells perfumey, resinous, a tad sweet, and citrussy with lime.

It’s name refers to the Mexican ‘Dia De Los Muertos’ holiday. We drink a fruit punch that Lush tried to reproduce in scent when they made the Calacas fragrance.

The ones made earlier had a super bright red/pink color and yellow. the more current Enchanters are more light orange and light yellow.

A 5 star bath bomb. It can stain the tub so i add a squeeze of shower gel to the bath when i’m filling it up, which breaks the surface tension which keeps the color from forming a ring around the tub. I learned that from Lush many years ago. The newer ones aren’t as saturated with colored foam as the original Enchanter bombs but it’s still pretty and smells great. 4 out of 5 rating.

Below is a video demo and review i made of the enchanter.

Below is My Calacas scent family photo. Lush has released a body spray and a lotion a couple of years after this photo was taken. 😊 For a total of 14-15 Lush Calacas scented products of different types.

Pumkin

lushpumkinad

This mischievous little character has gotten into the Halloween candy early with a candy leaf and a licorice top, so be careful he doesn’t sneak into your candy stash when you’re not looking! Crumble into the tub to lavish yourself in mounds of cozy bubbles and soft, beautiful orange waters on a cool autumn night. The delicately-blended sweet and earthy aroma of orange flower absolute and ylang ylang oil softly perfumes the skin and leaves it feeling clean and fresh. Dairy free: Pumkin’s eyes may look like chocolate, but they’re dairy-free.

Ghost jelly

5 out of 5 ratingLush Times Xmas 2008: Helen Ambrosen’s new favourite thing is to make Shower Jellies in individual moulds, as well as huge wobbly ones. Like our big blocks of Shower Jellies, you can put the individual ones in the fridge or the freezer to give yourself a shock in the shower. Lovely and cooling for hot days, and cheaper than a plunge pool. Ghost unfolds into a shape-shifting ethereal blob, looking a but like Munich’s painting, The Scream. Despite his slightly scary appearance, he softens and calms your skin as he gets you clean. You can either slap him all over your body to make a lather, or detach a little chunk of him and rub it fast and firmly between your hands for a creamy froth. You can use him to wash your hair because his seaweed gel is really good for turning tangles into luscious locks. Wash all over and just like Mr. Ghostie, you’ll be wafting scents of lilies, jasmine and ylang around after you all day. Grab him now before he drifts away…

Ingredients: Glycerine, Fresh Dove Orchid, Perfume, Carrageenan Extract, Jasmine Absolute, Ylang Ylang Oil, Neroli

Ghost is a floral fragrance made with dove orchid, lilies, and other flowers. The fragrance stays on the skin awhile which is good.

The jelly is so cute in the shape of a ghost. You have to turn ithe whole jelly over when you take it out to see it.

Ghost shower gel

3.5 out of 5 rating

See my demo video below

Review: Ghost shower gel was made to have the “Lily Savon” soap’s scent. It’s a medium strong Lily, jasmine, ylang ylang and neroli scent. It’s not sweet, at all. It’s got a white, tiny, glittery shimmer to it.

This is one of the more beautiful Lush florals even though it’s not as complex as some other Lush floral scents. It smells exactly like Lily Savon soap, and the lily perfume. The scent of the shower gel lasts a long time on the skin.

The new Ghost shower gel bottles that the Lush Kitchen makes will have a black label with white lettering, unlike my original bottle in the picture from 2006, which is the opposite.

Here’s what it looks like above, i show this much clearer in the video below

It’s a thick shower gel. I give this 3 stars.

Other Lush products with the same scent.

Ghost shower gel

Ghost shower jelly

Lily Savon soap

Lily Savon liquid spray perfume

Lucky Cat bubble bar

Here’s a video demo i made of this shower gel

heres a scent family photo of mine

It’s a thick shower gel with some white shimmer. I give this 3.5 stars. To answer a couple of questions i got, Just for comparison sake It’s not as sweet as Lush’ other Lily perfume called “Death and Decay”.

Ghost fragrance does remind one of a memory of something that was once here, then gone in a whisp.

recently in 2025 Lush has made another Lily soap with the same Lily Savon/Ghost scent but in the actual shape of a Lily!

Calacas shower gel (currently called ‘Zesty’)

5 out of 5

See my demo and review video of Calacas shower gel and other lush products with this same “Calacas’ scent below.

Lush changed the name to Zesty a couple og years ago…for some reason. 🤷🏻‍♀️

There are four colors of Calacas shower gel; green, yellow, orange, and one that is more iridescent and has both green and yellow.

Calacas shower gel was first made in a green color in 2011.  It has the “Day of the Dead” lush fragrance.  Lime oil, neroli oil.  It smell slike a light, fragrant perfume.  It’s citrussy but with Frankincense which is resinous and is sometimes in incense and is wonderful.

Like Lime pastille candies but not as sweet.  It’s beautiful.

Ingredients: Water (Aqua), Aloe Vera Gel(Aloe barbadensis), Sodium LaurethSulfate, Sodium Cocoamphoacetate, LaurylBetaine, Propylene Glycol, Perfume, Lime Oil (Citrus aurantifolia), Olibanum Oil (Boswelliacarterii), Neroli Oil (Citrus Aurantiumamara), Lactic Acid, *Citral, *Geraniol, *Limonene, *Linalool, Colour 42090, Colour 45350, Methylparaben, Propylparaben

Calacas means Skull of Skeleton in Spanish. And we have a Mexican holiday called ‘Dia de Los Muertos’ which means ‘Day of the Dead’. On that day we remember our relatives who have passed on.

Here’s a picture i took of all the Lush products that have been made in the same fragrance.

Heres the Lady Catrina soap in the store with a big slice cut off of it. 😊

Here’s my scent family portrait that i made in 2007. Since then there have been many other products made by Lush in the Calacas scent. Someday ill add the new ones to a list here.

Cobweb

Lush Cobweb Bath Bomb (Exclusively Online) Tantalizing black sugar bath bomb made with our ever popular black pearl scent to calm you down after a night of frights. This mighty bomb is a major stress reliever (as long as you’re not scared of spiders).

This awesome looking bath bomb has the great “Black Pearl’ scent.  It’s a “Black Pearl’ bath bomb, but in a cool cobweb shape.  And it has silver glitter.  The grey water looks kindof like the bath water after one uses “The Experimenter’ bath bomb, but not as dark.

LushCobweb

Ingredients:  Black Sugar, Lavender absolute, Chamomile oil, Olibanum oil, Myrrh resinoid, Silver Lustre sparkle.

This is not a citrus nor candy scent.  It’s kind of like mixing Jingle Spells ballistic with Waving Not Drowning ballistic with a slight dusting of black currant thrown in.

Lush also made a Black Pearl ballistic (which came first),  and then next was a soap called ‘Twas the Night Before Christmas. I enjoy the black pearl fragrance.  These two are also in this Wiki.

And Men would like this scent too as it is a unisex fragrance.

Here’s a couple of photos i took of all the lush products with the same ‘Black Pearl’ scent.

Soot Ball

Product Story

See my 3 minute video of this below.

Earlier this year, the Gorilla Perfume team hosted a ‘scented cinema’ event at which Hayao Miyazaki’s film Spirited Away was shown. This bath bomb is inspired by the ‘soot gremlins’ from his films – little creatures that dwell in the shadows of houses that, when crushed between the hands, dissolve into black soot.

Description:

He’s watching you…!

Let this surprising little bath bomb spirit you away into a golden, lustre-filled bath.

Don’t worry, Soot Ball won’t turn your bath water black – instead we’ve filled this bath bomb with radiant golden lustre, to feel as though you’re bathing in luxurious liquid gold. The olibanum (frankincense) is known for its calming and grounding effect on the mind, whilst the burnt caramel scent of tonka absolute and earthy sandalwood oil together create a sweet, spicy fragrance that wafts through the steam.

Here’s the video i made of this gorgeous little Soot Ball in the bath.

Quantitative Ingredients:

Sodium Bicarbonate, Citric Acid, Tonka Absolute, Australian Organic Sandalwood Oil, Fair Trade Columbian Cocoa Butter, Fair Trade Shea Butter, Olibanum Retinoid (Frankincense), Benzoin Resinoid, Perfume, Radiant Gold Lustre, Paper Eyes

Witches Ball

5 out of 5 rating.

Ingredients: 2834 The Witches Ball , Dried Cranberries, Dried Currants, Dried Star Anise, Perfume, Peppermint Oil, Rosemary Oil, Sage oil, Myrrh, Olibanum, Benzoin Gum, Clove, Dried Parsley

Lush Times Xmas 2008: A bubbling cauldron with a magical blend of reviving herbs. This bewitching ball of bubble mixture is a deep fuchsia colour like the very edge of sunset as it’s enveloped by encroaching indigo. It is studded with star anise seedpods, cloves, blackcurrants and cranberries and scented with a blend of essential oils to make a helpful potion in your bath. Rosemary, sage, peppermint, frankincense, myrrh and benzion make it a mystical mixture to clear emotional barriers and give you mental clarity. We scatter in some fresh parrsley for good luck. Bathe in this brew as often as you can before it disappears at the end of the year; make your resolutions as you bathe, let all your mental blockages dissolve in the bath water and disappear down the plughole. Now follow your dreams.

I love the smell and the way it makes the water look. These are really dark purple when they’re fresh.

They smell like herbs and spices. Spicy like cloves. Its not sweet. Love it!

The UK Lush Kitchen made the Spellbound gift for us to buy. It had Jingle Spells, Magic, and Witches Ball. Beautiful!
this one from the Lush North America Kitchen doesn’t look as good as all the ones i’ve gotten from Lush England throughout the years. As you can see, where’s the Star Anise seed? It’s hard like a rock, its pale in color and has these deep holes and cracks in it. 👀
