Frangiapani

This perfume smells so good when i first spray it on. The white flowers in it are sweet and frarant on my arm. It smells so fresh and gorgeous.

here’s a video where i review the new exclusive Lush ‘Perfume Library’ perfumes including Frangiapani. Go to 26:42 in the video for the Fragiapani perfume review and description.

Fresh As

4 out of 5 rating

Fresh As perfume

Whereas i expected to love the more expensive fragrances of the bunch and it turned out i didn’t, i decided to buy Fresh As even though the ingredients didnt necessarily grab me. As irony woukd have it-Fresh As is my favorite of the five.

It smells as if Lush Needles & Pine shower jelly, Lush Guardian of the Forest , and Lush Princess Cottongrass perfume had a baby.

The fragrance of it is light and airy. It smells less like a forest and more like a meadow. Its not earthy its green and airy and gorgeous.

It smells just as beautiful when its wet as when it’s dry.

Lush description: “Welcome to the wilderness. With bracing fir needle absolute and hints of balsamic benzoin resinoid you’ll soon be feeling fresh as…

Revitalising fir and tagetes oils mingle in each vivid spritz to surround you with the bracing draw of nature. If any scent can embody the freshest of forests, snapping sticks underfoot and the warmth of a snugly scarf, then this is it.”

You’ll love this if you like:

– Herbaceous fir.
– Refreshing forest walks.

For a limited time only, 30ml bottles of this perfume will be available to order online. This perfume and the rest of The Florence Collection are also available in 100ml bottles in your nearest perfume library. “

Here’s a Father’s Day shower gel from the 2020’s with the same Fresh As fragrance.

Nero

2 out of 5 rating

Nero perfume

I expected to love this perfume, after all im a neroli freak. I.love all things from lush that are primarily neroli based like ‘frozen’ or ‘love snd light’ body lotion or ‘prince’ cplogne. But unfortunately, no matter how many timrs i try this on me i just don’t like it. It has a strange note in it that makes it smell odd. None of the normal neroli goodness comed through. No matter if it wet or after its dried.

A royal favourite blended with an elevating wealth of zesty bergamot and neroli.

Bursts of floral neroli meet smouldering petitgrain oil, creating a fresh and woody fragrance. This perfume was inspired by the origins of the name Neroli. One theory suggests it arose from Emperor Nero, an avid perfume and fragrant flower enthusiast. Another surmises it stemmed from a much-loved French noblewoman named Anne Marie, Princess of Nerola, renowned for adorning her signature gloves and bath water with uplifting neroli oil.”

You’ll love this if you like:

– Fresh, green notes.
Sun perfume.
– Regal scents.

I LOVE Sun perfume, and i dont know ehy they compare it with Sun because it smells NOTHING like it. I wish it did. I have both and nope!

It has an odd chemically smell.

Its a shame as i wanted to love this.

Sappho

2 out of 5 rating

in addition to my photos below i could have sworn i did a review video of Sappho while spraying it on me, but i cant find it on my youtube channel. ill keep looking.

“For a limited time only, 30ml bottles of this perfume will be available to order online. This perfume and the rest of The Florence Collection are also available in 100ml bottles in your nearest perfume library.”

Sappho is one of five perfumes which are only sold at the Florence, Italy Perfume Library store. But Lush Uk has them temporarily on their retail site uk.lush.com

I happened to be on the site looking at the mothers day products and saw them there!

I wanted to like Sappho so much. I bought it because the ingredients vanilla, jasmine, sandalwood, tonka, orris, tobacco and anise. so it seemed perfect.

List of ingredients

Especially when the description said this:

You’ll love this if you like:
– Powdery vanilla scents.
Vanillary perfume.
– Sunny sapphic sensuality on a Greek island.

But when i spray it on, it smells great for a minute then these note come through thats like spiced, jasmine and tobacco and this overrides the lovely vanilla quality. On me though. Your mileage may vary depending on each person’s skin chemistry.

If the underlying licorice-like note wasnt there it would be so good, but unfortunately it burns my nose, just turns strange and is way too strong with my body chemistry. The part thats left over long after its dried down hours later is aactually kind of nice. soft and vanilla like, but it takes literally hours to become this nice scent.

“Fell in love with a girl?

Bittersweet and inescapable, this ode to a striking poetess, the Tenth Muse, will shake your senses. Classical orris entwines with carnal jasmine to enchant deep desires.”

Lush Exclusive Perfume Library fragrance reviews

I bought five Italy perfume library store exclusives that were surprisingly on the Lush Uk site when i was looking for something else!

Here is a video reviewing and demoing them at length to help with your purchasing decisions.

I should love them for all intents and purposes, according to the ingredients. And theyre the two most costly of the bunch. I just dont understand. 🤔 So im wearing them again today one on each arm, just to see if theres any change in my dislike of them. *Crosses my fingers*

I think Fresh As is the only one of the five that are truly impressive imo. And as far as the other four not onky do they not smell good compared to past lush gorilla perfumed, but a large part of the fragrance just disappears too fast (which is good if one doesnt like it i suppose) but gosh theyre like the opposite of the new lush body spray fragrances which seem to be more concentrated and last awhile on the skin, especially being almost half the price of a couple of these perfumes.

Sappho P                       €195/£150 for 100ml

When smelling this fragrance, Mark immediately referenced Sappho, a prolific greek poet in the Archaic period (NOT a goddess!). She also ran her family’s shipping business whilst her brothers were away. Very little of her work survives from antiquity. For many people Sappho is the symbol of female homosexuality. She lived on the island of Lesbos and Plato describes Sappho as the 10th Muse.

Notes from the Nose: I knew for Florence I wanted to incorporate a heavy Orris/Iris base into a perfumes that represents the Florence Lily (the Iris Flower), the symbol of Florence …and this was it.

Confetti                                €90/£70 for 100ml

Emma’s initial workings were based on Rose, Violet, Coffee and Pear as a combination. Rowena smelt the perfume and thought it smelt of Sugar Almonds (a pastel coloured candy Almond – Usually found as a gift on the table at British Weddings). In Italy they have the same tradition for celebratory events and the Sugar Almonds are known as Confetti – which was a perfect fit …so much so, that this will be Emma’s signature scent for her wedding in 2020.

Ingredients: Violet leaf absolute, Rose oIl, sandalwood oil

QI: DRF Alcohol, Perfume, Alpha-Isomethyl ionone, Water (Aqua), Glycerine, Geraniol, Rose Oil (Rosa damascena), Violet Leaf Absolute (Viola odorata), Sandalwood Oil (Santalum austro-caledonicum vieill), *Benzyl Alcohol, *Benzyl Benzoate, *Benzyl Cinnamate, *Cinnamal, *Citral, *Citronellol, *Eugenol, *Farnesol, *Limonene, *Linalool

The sensuality and deepness of love from the Roses and the comforting solidity of all marriages provided by the sandalwood oil. Sweet and floral.

The sugared almonds at an Italian wedding tell a story in three acts. Young love, the innocence of violet leaf. A sensual rose blooms as the relationship deepens, until the final chapter reveals the lasting comfort of sandalwood oil. Created in 2019.

Frangipani                                €90/£70 for 100ml

Frangipani is thought to refer to a fragrance made for perfuming the gloves of a Roman noble, the probably mythical Marquis of Frangipani. This perfume was ‘composed of every known spice’ and probably included a large amount of Orris root, musk and civet as these were standard perfumery ingredients at the time and Sweet Almond oil was used to soften and perfume gloves in the Renaissance. The Frangipani plant (Plumeria) was thought to resemble this fragrance.

Our perfume might smell familiar as it is similar to our solid hand serum –  Frangipani glove.

Ingredients: Frangipani absolute, Sandalwood oil, Almond Oil, Tuberose absolute, Guaiacwood Oil.

QI: DRF Alcohol, Perfume, Water (Aqua), Glycerine, Benzyl Alcohol, *Limonene, Benzyl Benzoate, *Linalool, Guiacwood Oil (Bulnesis sarmienti), Sandalwood Oil (Santalum austro-caledonicum vieill), Almond Essential Oil (Prunus amygdalus amara), Frangipani Absolute (Plumeria alba), Tuberose Absolute (Polianthes Tuberosa), *Benzyl Salicylate, Butylphenyl Methylpropional, Cinnamyl Alcohol, *Citral, Coumarin, *Eugenol, *Farnesol, Geraniol

Olfactory description:  Creamy sandalwood and scrumptious almonds leans into the sweet frangipani and the perfume finishes off with a bright white floral and woody base. Starts sweet and finishes with a slightly smoky finish. Guaiacwood Oil in its raw form leans smokey (like cedarwood virginian)

Frangipani

The legacy (or myth) of the Marquis of Frangipani: a delicate dusting of sweet almond used to fragrance gloves. Across the ocean, a flower bearing a similar scent had not yet been discovered, but would eventually inherit the Frangipani name. Created in 2019.

Nero                                 €160/£125 for 100ml

Inspired by the origins of the name Neroli. The first is that the Emperor Nero inspired the term Neroli as he was a huge perfume and fragrant flower enthusiast. The information I read before creating the perfume was ‘The name Neroli is thought by some to originate from Anne Marie, Princess of Nerola, She used Neroli to perfume her gloves and her bath water and her popular gloves, called Guanti Di Neroli was the original name for this perfume.

Ingredients, Bergamot, Neroli, Petitgrain

QI: DRF Alcohol, Bergamot Oil (Citrus aurantium bergamia), *Limonene, Perfume, Neroli Oil (Citrus aurantium amara), Water (Aqua), *Linalool, Glycerine, Petitgrain Oil (Citrus aurantium amara), *Citral, *Coumarin, *Farnesol, *Geraniol, Isoeugenol

Olfactory description:  A classic homage to the traditional citrus eau de cologne that dawned crisp male tailored suits. The petitgrain creates a woody depth to a light and airy citrus.

Created in 2019 by Perfumer, Emma Dick

Citrusy, fresh

A classical portrait of the Princess of Nerola, her gloves delicately fragranced with the neroli that she’s thought to have named. Enter the Emperor Nero. Woody depths of petitgrain smoulder, and citrus notes of bergamot rise from the ashes, neglecting the burning city of Rome. Created in 2019.

Coco Loco Body Spray

3 out of 5 rating

See my 3 minute description, demo & review video below.

Coco Loco is in the same scent family as Lush Big Calm shower jelly, Lush Big Calm body lotion, Big Calm solid perfume, Lush Yellow Submarine bath bomb, and Coco Loco solid shower oil.

Its made with orange oil, coriander, and lemon grass oil. The scent is a tropical pineapple and coconut smell.

When i first sprayed this on my arm once i did not smell anything remotely coconutty nor pineappleish. I was about to give this body spray a 2 out of 5 rating, meaning i wouldnt recommended…when i tried it again on my other arm, tbis time spraying two sprays instead of one and i waited until it wad totally dry which was 15 minutes later. i sniffed my arm and finally! I was able to smell that tropical scent i remember so well and enjoy in the Big Calm jelly!

So the key to this particular body spray is to wait until its totally dry before you make a decision.

That said, its not as strong of a scent as some of the other body sprays ive reviewed.

But its slightly swret and smells like a pina colada. So i raisedy initial rating of this body spray to a 3 out of 5 rating. Meaning i would recommend it, but there are many other body sprays that i would choose over Coco Loco.

Need a mini vacation? Mist on a little Coco Loco for a fresh breeze of palm trees, sandy beaches and total relaxation. Brazilian orange, coriander and lemongrass oils give lightness to the creamy coconut base of this perfume, evoking memories of your perfect tropical getaway. This spritzer is just as deliciously scented as the shower oil of the same name, so layer on the scent after the shower to make the vacation vibes last a little longer.” Lush

Yoga Bomb Body Spray

4.5 out of 5 rating

See my 4 minute demo, description & review video below.

I remember the first time i smelled a brand new ‘Yoga Bomb’ bath bomb when they first came out in Lush Uk. Oh my. It smelled both fruity and woody and floral. I was mesmerized. And of course the rainbow of color it produced hooked me even further. So i was very excited when i learned that Lush Uk were making a body spray fragrance of Yoga Bomb.

I hoped it would smell just like the bomb.

I am not disappointed. Not only does it smell like the bomb, it smells even stronger.

Its all at once spicy, woody, floral and fruity. Its only slightly sweet. Its made with frankincense, sandalwood, and ho wood. A perfect word for this fragrance is..meditative.

Unlike some lush body spray fragrances It smells the same wet as it does dry so there are no surprises with yoga bomb spray. It lasts long on my skin and my husband loves how i smell.

Im very glad i purchased this. Its on of my favorites in the lush body spray category.

“Inhale calm, exhale worries. This rich, grounding fragrance will have you feeling at peace in no time. A balancing blend of sandalwood, ho wood and olibanum oils offer an earthy, cleansing vibe, while its sunshiney cassie absolute aroma awakens your senses. This is the perfect spray to shake life back into your gym gear.”

Roller body spray

5 out of 5 rating

See my 3 minute drmo and review video below

Roller bath bomb is my favorite Lush bomb for looks and scent. I love everything in this scent family. I love the caramelly strawberry notes of this scent. Its very sweet and very strong when first sprayed. So keep in mind if you dont like sweet scents you might not enjoy roller spray.

As i show in the video i sprayed 1 1/2 sprays and as soon as it dries down it lessens in strength but not as much asany body sprays do. Roller stays pretty true to how it smells in the bottle. It smells the ssme on my skin. I only had to spray this 2-3 times during the day for it to last all day so its fairly strong comparatively speaking.

Scent Description: Within this delectable strawberry and cream scent swims a harmonious mingling of geranium, fresh Brazilian orange and sweet tonka absolute.

You’ll love this if you like:
– Bold geranium florals.
– Magic Mushroom bubble bar or Yummy Mummy shower gel.
– Hitting the strawberry fields for some wholesome berry picking.

Fantabulosa perfume

5 out of 5 rating

Oi, darling, varda a new smellie? This intriguing, sophisticatedly sweet bananary perfume is sure to take your fancy. Unique, chic and unforgettable – it’s one to wear.

Originally a Be Never Too Busy To Be Beautiful perfume, released under a different name ‘Ladyboy’ in 2004.

This fragrance used to be called ‘Ladyboy’ when Lush was called ‘B Never Too Busy to be Beautiful ‘. I took a picture of that bottle. It is made with oak moss, seaweed, violet, and some note that is banana-ish.

Lush has made four violet forward perfumes.

Tuca Tuca, Kerbside Violet, Ladyboy/Fantabulosa, and V.

Fantabulosa does have an undernote of mossiness because of the oak moss and seaweed oils in it.

I would describe this scent as an earthy, mossy, fruity floral, with primary violet note, and it’s a sweet violet, but not as sweet as Lush other violet perfume Tuca Tuca.

The yellow solid bubble bar in the shape of a perfume bottle is also called ‘Fantabulosa’, and has the same scent as the Fantabulosa perfume and the Lush Ladyboy perfume. Notice the both have a banana on them.

This scent was originally made for men and women. one of Lush first unisex scents. It was wildly popular. lush made a soap, shower gel, etc of this scent.

Fabulosa is a fairly long lasting fragrance as well, staying on my skin a good amount of time before reapplication was necessary.

If you like unusual scents that are sweet, or even if you love violet, you’ll enjoy Fantabulosa.

Here’s a video i made describing the scent in depth.

List of ingredients

Goddess Perfume

5 out of 5 rating. The perfume was made in the same scent as the original bath bomb, The bath bomb was made for Ariana Grande’s video ‘God is a Woman’.

The scent of the perfume and the bath bomb is made in the Lush “Zen” soap fragrance. Its a combination of earthy, green and floral notes.

I describe the fragrance in detail in my video below. I love this fragrance! That’s no. surprise i guess because i loved the Zen soap from which this scent comes from.

Jack Constantine at Lush mimicked the gorgeous muted colors of blue, lilac, gray, silver, green in the video within the bath bomb.

Its scent is a combination of earthy, green and floral. It smells like the video looks if that makes sense. I think Jack did an excellent job of creating the feel and vibe of Ariana’s video into this perfume scent.

There is also a Goddess perfume oil, which has a lot more staying power than the spray perfume. There was also a gold and purple soap

In the 2025 advent calendar tgere is a perfume thst lush only made for the advent calendar. Its a combination of the Goddess/Oudhess perfume scent with the ‘vanillary’ perfume scent scent. It’s very nice.

Keep It Fluffy scent family

5 out of 5 rating

The Keep It Fluffy scent was one of 12 different scents families product lines sold at the Lush sister company called “B Nnever Too Busy To Be beautiful” boutique in London from 2005-2009 or thereabouts. The Lush website had a tab for their B Never store and if you clicked on it it would take you to the B Never store retail website so you could buy things and even have them delivered to the U.S.A. naturally i took advantage of that service.

One of my favorite Keep It Fluffy items from that boutique was the bubble bar, in my picture below. It’s on the bottom right, pink with a red rose in the middle.

Lush will be making it again 20 years later in the upcoming February 2026 subscription box.

If you’ve ever tried The Lush turkish rose shower smoothie, that was made in the Keep It Fluffy scent. You can see my vintage glass bottle of it that came in the Keep It Fluffy gift set that i bought in my pics below from 2006.

It a soft, young, fresh rose scent, not an old lady rose scent, even though i’m an old lady 😊.

My bottle of Keep it Fluffy shower gel. Ive had tbree versions of this in the last 20 years that ive been using lush.

In my picture above are my now empty Original cut crystal Keep It Fluffy perfume on the left from 2006, and a new bottle on the right from 2019. The pink one in the middle is a Lush bubble bar recently made in Lush UK called ‘Keep It Fluffy Bubble Bottle’.

I have all the Keep It Fluffy products Lush/B Never made from 2006 onwards to the present 2023.

Keep It Fluffy was at one time my favorite of the 15 fragrance lines that Lush sold at their sister store ‘B Never Too Busy To Be Beautiful‘ 2005-2008. Keep It Fluffy was a large line of products. Its a light and pretty fragrance. Its got rose petal infusion, vanilla, jasmine, lemongrass, and ylang ylang.

When i smell Keep It Fluffy I usually smell the rose petal infusion, then the Ylang Ylang and jasmine. I dont usually pick up the lemongrass.

Here’s my pic of the body spray from 2006.

Some people don’t like it, and some people love it. So id go by the notes if youre trying to make a decision on buying or not.

If youre familiar with the Lush/B Never ‘Two Hearts’ fragrance..its *somewhat* similar notes, except Two Hearts is more jasmine forward and has no vanilla or lemongrass.

Lush made the bath bomb again, once around 2008.

There are some kinds of products that carry the KiF scent better than others. Lush had a bath bomb which was lovely and so was the soap. The perfume is iffy because i have the originals to compare it to and for sone reason the original is better scented. It should be the other way around right? The older one shouldnt smell better than the new one. So this tells me that Lush is using less of some ingredient than they used to.

A new 2025 Keep It Fluffy soap that Lush sells on their website and in stores.

Keep It Fluffy soap

Also, if youve used or smelled the Lush ‘Turkish Delight’ smoothie, that is made with the KiF scent. I love the scent in the smoothie.

Here’s an empty bottle of one of my Lush Keep It Fluffy perfumes. Lush made these cut crystal bottles. The one next to it was a body spray.

This is one of my ‘if you were on a deserted island’ Lush perfumes.

Here’s my video

In my photo below I gathered all my Keep It Fluffy products. The container was a handmade Lush Keep It Fluffy gift set container.

rose petal infusion, jasmine flower infision, vanilla, lemon grass and ylang ylang.

It’s a beautiful, innocent soft floral with citrus notes. Its not sweet. Well maybe a tiny bit sweet. Very little.

I have a bunch of Lush Keep it Fluffy things. Some of the containers are empty. And i still have bubble bars, empty shower gels and other bath stuff in this scent. Myself and others have been hinting to Mark C from Lush about re-making keep it fluffy for a few years now.

And the Lush Kitchen did remake the shower gel, (below) yay!! In 2025 for one of the monthly Subscription boxes.

Maybe someday. I can always hope.

Above is my empty bottle of ‘Rose Tinted Spectacles’ which was a liquid bubble bath that was sold at the B Never store and its the Keep It Fluffy scent.

ETA: As of 2021 Lush now sells this perfume again! I think it’s limited edition.

The ‘Keep It Fluffy bubble bottle’ bubble bar on the left is in the same shape as the perfume bottle. Lush made these in 2019

Heres a keep it fluffy bath bomb thst Lush made as a Lush product and wasn’t at their B Never boutique.

Also in the Keep It Fluffy scent is the ‘Funny Face’ Fun bar, which was exclusive and free at a Lush Event in England for one night. A very lovely woman got one for me 🙏🏼❤️

Funny Face was an old movie with Audrey Hepburn. The exclusive Lush cinema were giving out fun bars with the Keep It Fluffy scent.

The lights in the display room were a pink neon

In my photo above are all my products from B Never back in the day. i still have the cleaned out, empty containers in a box in my lush room closet.

Honey I Washed the Kids body spray & scent family video

See my demo and review video below 🙂

Available in the uk

What’s not in my photo below (which I mention in my video) are the honey wood shower gel, the soap, the giant yellow Easter egg from 2005, the heart shaped bath bomb, the solid shampoo, the it’s raining men, the massage bar. I have separate pictures of all those.

Olive Branch body spray

3 out of 5 rating. I’ll record a demo video of mine soon.

The Olive Branch is a somewhat popular gender neutral scent. It’s citrus but also has a green and almost earthy note to it along with the orange citrus.

Lush makes a few products with this same scent, such as the popular in store ‘Pop in the Bath’ bubble bar.

Lush has made a perfume spray and a solid perfume in the past years as well. It’s only lately that Lush decided to make a body spray style sprayer.

I like the spray perfect better. It seems stronger. The Olive Branch isn’t my favorite scent to begin with but for those of you who love it you would be very pleased with the body spray, the scent really lasts.

Lush says you can spray it on the body or even on sheets or on your hair and clothes.

Only availablelable in the Uk

Amandopondo perfume

4 out of 5 rating.

Soon I’ll record a video of my bottle from my photo which has only a drop left.

Lush made the very first ‘forum member only special perfumes’ in 2005.

This first round of perfumes were voted on by us, the Lush International customer forum members.

Lush’s head of manufacturing at that time, Hilary Jones, along with the owner and creator Mark Constantine, asked us; “If you could have a perfume made from any current product we have what would it be?”

She said “write them down, l tally them and then we’ll make the most popular six perfumes.”

The first was ‘Amandopondo’. It was made from the rose, lemon and orange combination of a popular bubble bar sold at the time called ‘Amandopondo‘ bubble bar that was sold in all lush stores from 1999-2014. The bars name had a deep meaning it for the owners.

So naturally I bought one of each of those first six perfumes. I took a photo of it way back then so that I could start the first Lush blog 🙂
