Lush North America, which is now run by mark Constantine, will be getting its own Lush Kitchen for those of us who live in the North America; United States and Canada.
The first North America Kitchen menu will be the Halloween time products!
My reviews, my photos, and in some cases video demo are via the product links below.
As you all have requested, Here are the Lush Kitchen products that i rated a 5. I dont have the names written down in a list because i havent had time.
Ive recorded sink and tub demo videos and have taken photos of all of these products. And theyre all on my Lushalot.com Blog if you use the search bar in the menu. . . I do have a question; I noticed that there are more products in the actual voting area than are on this picture that i got from their kitchen site. I hadn’t/haven’t rated the rest that were in the voting area.
I didnt include ALL meltable products, because they wouldnt survive the heat i dont think.
Has Lush said anything about all this that y’all know of? . . . . . . . .
My Original Blog Post: Lots of folks have asked me what’s going on with this months voting, why so many already made products? 136 products. And honestly I have no idea.
I’m just guessing—maybe Lush has been losing some money from the kitchen during this pandemic so they’re making a play to make more money, or drumming up more interest in the lush kitchen by offering more products at one time? Again, that’s just my guess, i haven’t seen nor heard anything from lush about it. When or If i do hear or see something i’ll let you know.
Here in the image below are the products being offered.
I’ll start to write them down here today in alphabetical order, with links to my reviews and video demos of many of these products.
I may or may not do a video describing all of these. I’m not sure though because it would be long.
Oh my gosh this smells wonderfully strong of the Lush classic ‘Karma’ scent and i love it!
Like earthy oranges mixed with hippy incense 😄 I’d forgotten how much i love it.
See the 2 minute Tub Demo Video i made for you below
Lush UK has created a new limited edition bath bomb called ‘Lucky Tiger’.
I’m hoping Lush usa will sell them.
Pounce into orange and patchouli-scented waters with this Karma fragranced Lucky Tiger: our brand new bath bomb.
Created through a collaboration between our Lush Japan and Greater China teams to celebrate the Lunar New Year, as it fizzes away enjoy the uplifting fragrance and get ready for a year filled with good luck, bravery and strength.
I rate this a 4.5 out of 5.
I took off ha look f a point because the scent changes a bit and is also weaker in the water.
You know what really messed with my head? Well, for Easter holidays past Lush has made carrot looking bubble bars. And so when i first smelled this Kim the Carrot on my Valentine’s 2022 Haul video I. DiD. NOT. LIKE. IT.
I was expecting a natural carrot scent. All the orange carrot shaped bars that lush has made throughout the years had carrot juice in them.
Even though its not an Easter product i still expected that scent. And when i smelled the Creamy Candy scent instead-it messed me up 😅
Lush ‘Creamy Candy’ bubble bar
It smelled familiar to me but i couldnt put my fimger on what it was that i was smelling. At the time i couldnt even tell what scent it was. Creamy Candy. It’s CREAMY CANDY 😂
This is a New, limited edition bubble bar for Valentines 2022. This wasnt my favorite. I liked the other Lush Valentine’s products below alot more than this bubble bar.
.
Here’s a video i recorded for you of my bath with Kim the Carrot and you can see what it looks like when using it.
I received my online purchase ! I’ll start taking baths, and ill use love bug, Lucky Tiger and Mr Loba Loba and record demos and review and add to this blog.
There are time stamps for each product in the description area of the youtube video above.
Valentines 2022 products will be up on the uk and usa sites January 6.
This year we have one returning Valentines product, and seven New Valentine’s products.
I’ll post any Lush Valentines exclusive products from Lush Liverpool Spa and from the Oxford Street store here too if they have some this year.
We have three new scents this year, and five products that share their fragrance with other Lush products.
Aubergine bath bomb / Big Eggplant Returning but much bigger! Still with the 29 High Street fragrance.
Big Eggplant ill be reviewing this one soon.
Hot Lips – New this year It’s a lip mask like they use in Korean Beauty. It’s got a New cherryish scent.
It has the scent of ylang ylang flower, patchouli, lemongrass and Ho wood. It smells like an expensive mens cologne or something. I love the scent.
Also, the scent has somestaying power after you use it which i like.
I Would give this a high rating because its really cute, it works well without drying my skin, it smells great and the scent lasts.
Its scent is from another product that Lush made before they called themselves Lush, when they were a company called Cosmetics To Go in the 90’s. The product was called ‘Damp Squid’ and it was a bath bomb.
I still have my old pictures of my Damp Squid bath bomb.
This is one of many products only available in the Christmas 2021 Advent Calendar gift set.
Lush Uk had a Sleepy pop up event in September October 2021 time frame. They had many exclusive Sleepy products not available in stores. This Sleepy bomb was one of them. Lush Uk decided to add it to the Christmas Advent Calendar gift set as an exclusive amongst all the other goodies in the calendar gift set.
See below for my 3 minute Tub Demo Video.
Sleepy bomb reminds me of the Lush Uk ‘Sleeping Giant’ bath bomb. I think Sleepy bomb is a miniature version of it. In fact The Sleeping Giant looks like a combination of the Twilight (pink) bomb and the Sleepy (blue) bomb.
This Sleepy bomb has such a gorgeous periwinkle blue color! 😍
Sleepy is a quiet, slow melting kind of bomb, not the fast fizzing type.
It looks like some kind of melting blackberry dessert doesn’t it? 😊
There’s a bit of very dark blue almost black color inside the bath bomb that’s surprising.
There are multiple colors in here, violet, lilac, black, gold. Lots of bath art opportunities 😄
The gold is actually shimmery stuff. And the gold shimmer gets dispersed in the purple water and it’s just beautiful.
I’d rate this a 5 out of 5 rating.
These aren’t like the Lush halloween 2021 products which glow under UV light. These are glow in the dark. Here is what the stars and moon look when you turn off the lights.
Some folks were asking me what these moon and stars are made out of. Many folks thought they were a bath melt as i did, but they are made out of what feels like plastic. They don’t melt.
below is the ‘Twilight’ bath bomb. Sleepy was originally called ‘Twilight’ before Lush changed it for (the movie) copyright reasons. And so the look of it changed at the same time. 😊 Here’s the ‘Twilight’ bath bomb page with pictures of it and other lush products in this scent family.
Twilight
This above is ‘Twilight’ bath bomb sold in Lush stores. The ‘Sleepy’ bomb is the same scent. Both made with floral Ylang Ylang , Sweet creamy Tonka bean, and Bright herbal Lavendar. I asked the creator Alessandro and he stated that ‘Yes. They are the same scent’, just different names. Not complaining. I’d love to use both of these in a bath cocktail. Unfortunately there is only one in the Advent Calendar gift set.
This does not include Christmas items, those have their own blog page.
😊 In November 26 Lush UK will be releasing new bombs. One of the isn’t new but okay. Ive used them and demo’d them all except for luxe. If you click on the links below you can see them.
Lush will be releasing this in November along with four other bath bombs. Ive used three or four of them so far. As i get more info on the two i havent used yet ill post it on this page.
This has such a gorgeous scent. Jasmine, Ylang Ylang, and davana oil, which smells like a tropical fruit of some kind. It smells both yummy and pretty.
Tried to get all angles in this pic below so you can see what it looks like.
Bathing is believing, run your bath and drop in. With a playful perfume of bergamot, davana and jasmine, reveal your magic with this unicorn bath bomb.
Above is a photo from Lush Japan.
I was told this bath bomb is made with the classic Lush ‘Cocktail’ scent, and then Lush adds some strawberry to that. But it’s missing the rose, the howood, etc So lol 🤷🏽♀️ It’s a sweet, slightly fruity floral, with Jasmine, Davana and strawberry. See how the two are completely different scent ingredients?).
This is a Lush Uk subscription box exclusive for September 2021.
Have you tried it? What do you think?
This was an exclusive product made for the August 2021 Subscription Box
I like this. It smells kind of like theres a bit of honey in it. I dont believe there is any in this but that’s what it smells like. Its got very fine exfoliation from the finely ground tagua beans.
Its a thick consistency and my skin feels great after i used it. My pores are smaller and my skin issoft. I do need moidturizer after using it but i always use moisturizer throughout the day anyway so.
If youve tried Lush Smugglers Soul facial exfoliator this Happy Skin is the same fineness of scrub but its a thicker consistency and it smells different. Like a light smell of nuts and honey.
⭐️ (Fyi-this is not the ‘Merry Christmas Everyone‘ shower gel that they’re selling for Christmas 2025. This is an entirely different shower gel.
Ill be doing a review page for the current Merry Christmas Everyone 2025 shower gel in a couple of days when i use it. Im currently using other Christmas 2025 shower gels to review. In the meantime 👀 look at the ‘Celebrate’ shower gel to know what the 2025 Merry Christmas Everyone scent is like because theyre the same exact scent.) ⭐️
See my 4 minute Up close sink demo where i wash my hands with it and you can see how much lather it has, how thick it is, etc.
Lush has created three new Christmas shower gels this year which are different than anything theyve made before. One of them is only available in the Christmas 2021 Advent Calendar Gift. There are 6-8 exclusive Christmas products only available in the Advent calendar.
When they sold it to the public they changed the name to Happy Holidays. Notice the label says its cherry chocolate. Merry Christmas shower gel is quite a surprise to me. There are so many things about it that i like.
The color is a rich red, and it has gold sparkles in it. They settle at the bottom but i just shake it up to distribute the sparkke all throughout the shower gel.
Goodness. It looks like a ruby in the sun.
The scent is another surprise. It smells like a cherry. A chocolate covered cherry. It has a scent very similar to the Lush ‘Cherryish’ bodyscrub.
The ingredients are Aloe, Cocoa Absolute (chocolate), and Almond Oil. Its no wonder it smells like cherry.
The consistency is nice and thick.
I wish it was a bigger size. I love it.
It is pretty sweet. Some might find it too sweet. I dont find this to be the case. But i like things like Lush ‘Happy Blooming’ scent, which some find too sweet.
I pray that Lush will make this as an ‘in stores and online’ shower gel next Christmas.
Heres a video showing the consistency, lather, etc
In an 1 1/2 hour and a half the unboxing will be premiering on my lushalot youtube channel. i’ll also add the video to my Lush Christmas 2021 page here
The Big Snow Fairy Roll is new. It’s a 1 kilo version of the Snow Fairy Roll. The ‘regular size’ Snow Fairy Roll is like two regular bubble bars and THIS Big SFR is even more huge.
Its the same size as this Big Comforter in my phoro below.
Made with big chunks of sea salt and lots of yummy tropical fruits such as mango, papaya, pineapple, lemon, and kiwi. Smells even more fruity and delicious than Lush I Love Juicy shampoo.
It’s a thick consistency, sort of like the consistency of Big liquid shampoo. I attached a vid to show the texture.
This is made for fine, limp hair and oily i normal hair. It’s not for my dry, thick, wavy hair.
After using it I can totally see how this woukd make thin hair thicker. It works well for that.
A little goes a long way. I have long hair. You have to make sure you rinse your hair well to get the small salt chunks out of your hair. It smells so good.
This was a surprise in the Lush July 2021 subscription box.
Have you tried it? Do you like it? Or not so much?
I wonder if Lush will have it in stores for the general public or if it will stay an exclusive one time thing.
I like these style of ‘Amazeball’ bath bomb, which all have a hollowed out core with other tiny bath bombs inside, and a top.
Love Locket,. Fly Me To The Moon, Snow Fairy, Don’t Let the Bells End, and Holly Golightly are all this type of hollowed out bath bomb.
The time has come to be true to yourself. The Snow Fairy is here to shine a light on the courage, kindness, and confidence within you.
How to use: Fill your bath, sprinkle the bath confetti, add the shell and/or stopper and enjoy a fabulously softening experience. With a new 3-in-1 design, perfect for your Secret Santa pick.
How to store: Keep cool and dry before you are ready for a sweet-scented light show.
Did you know? Over 25 years ago we invented the bath bomb. Our fizzing bicarb beauties provide an immersive aromatherapeutic bathtime like no other. All this and no packaging too…
This has never been made for the public. Lush, Mark Constantine let us vote for which community favorites product we would like in a body lotion in 2018. Its up for the vote for the Lush Kitchen September 2021 Subscription Box.
5 out of 5 rating for scent and 3 out of 5 rating for performance.
It was made in rhe wonderful ‘Avocado Co Wash’ solid shampoo scent.
The scent is a tart lime scent with a nice sweet note in it. It’s quite a big burst of a lime-y fragrance made with sweet, fruity bergamot oil, fragrant incense-y yet citrussy frankincense (olibanum), and the lemony litsea cubeba herb. There is the addition of avocado, which is moisturizing and softening for skin and hair.
I like other products in this scent more than the body lotion. Its SO conditiining that it takes along time for it to dry on my skin so i can handle my camera or phone without getting them covered with lotion.
I loved the Melusine bath bomb, the shower gel and then the Minamisoma shower oil the most.
Never made for the public, this has only originally been made in 2006 for uk forum members, and made in the Lush Kitchen a couple of times in 2014 and 2016. Its up for the vote for the September 2021 Lush subscription box.
5 out of 5 rating
If you like the Karma scent this jelly will make you happy. Its strong with the classic orange oil, patchouli, lemon grass, and pine scent of Karma.
Its a red orange color with no sparkles. I usually cut some up, put it in a small plastic kitchen seive and hold it under the falling water and it makes tons of karma scented bubbles in the tub.
I added a Karma scent famy (which is one of the biggest scent families) on the last photo, and there are four more newer products missing from the photo already!
These are the Christmas products that are exclusive to the UK. USA didn’t do anything like this i guess. 🤷🏽♀️
Do Not look any further if you want the lush Christmas products to be a surprise. 😊
I’ve reviewed and have demo videos here of all the returning Christmas products. The Halloween 2021 products are here
I’ll be adding what kind of products these are very soon and group them by category ‘bombs, bubble bars, soaps’, etc. Then as usual i’ll be adding each product picture, description, scent family, etc. during the next days all the way up to Christmas.
All the Christmas 2021 bath bombs (except snow fairy)
Products will be available to purchase on the UK site the third week of September.
