Keep It Fluffy scent family

5 out of 5 rating

The Keep It Fluffy scent was one of 12 different scents families product lines sold at the Lush sister company called “B Nnever Too Busy To Be beautiful” boutique in London from 2005-2009 or thereabouts. The Lush website had a tab for their B Never store and if you clicked on it it would take you to the B Never store retail website so you could buy things and even have them delivered to the U.S.A. naturally i took advantage of that service.

One of my favorite Keep It Fluffy items from that boutique was the bubble bar, in my picture below. It’s on the bottom right, pink with a red rose in the middle.

Lush will be making it again 20 years later in the upcoming February 2026 subscription box.

If you’ve ever tried The Lush turkish rose shower smoothie, that was made in the Keep It Fluffy scent. You can see my vintage glass bottle of it that came in the Keep It Fluffy gift set that i bought in my pics below from 2006.

It a soft, young, fresh rose scent, not an old lady rose scent, even though i’m an old lady 😊.

My bottle of Keep it Fluffy shower gel. Ive had tbree versions of this in the last 20 years that ive been using lush.

In my picture above are my now empty Original cut crystal Keep It Fluffy perfume on the left from 2006, and a new bottle on the right from 2019. The pink one in the middle is a Lush bubble bar recently made in Lush UK called ‘Keep It Fluffy Bubble Bottle’.

I have all the Keep It Fluffy products Lush/B Never made from 2006 onwards to the present 2023.

Keep It Fluffy was at one time my favorite of the 15 fragrance lines that Lush sold at their sister store ‘B Never Too Busy To Be Beautiful‘ 2005-2008. Keep It Fluffy was a large line of products. Its a light and pretty fragrance. Its got rose petal infusion, vanilla, jasmine, lemongrass, and ylang ylang.

When i smell Keep It Fluffy I usually smell the rose petal infusion, then the Ylang Ylang and jasmine. I dont usually pick up the lemongrass.

Here’s my pic of the body spray from 2006.

Some people don’t like it, and some people love it. So id go by the notes if youre trying to make a decision on buying or not.

If youre familiar with the Lush/B Never ‘Two Hearts’ fragrance..its *somewhat* similar notes, except Two Hearts is more jasmine forward and has no vanilla or lemongrass.

Lush made the bath bomb again, once around 2008.

There are some kinds of products that carry the KiF scent better than others. Lush had a bath bomb which was lovely and so was the soap. The perfume is iffy because i have the originals to compare it to and for sone reason the original is better scented. It should be the other way around right? The older one shouldnt smell better than the new one. So this tells me that Lush is using less of some ingredient than they used to.

A new 2025 Keep It Fluffy soap that Lush sells on their website and in stores.

Keep It Fluffy soap

Also, if youve used or smelled the Lush ‘Turkish Delight’ smoothie, that is made with the KiF scent. I love the scent in the smoothie.

Here’s an empty bottle of one of my Lush Keep It Fluffy perfumes. Lush made these cut crystal bottles. The one next to it was a body spray.

This is one of my ‘if you were on a deserted island’ Lush perfumes.

Here’s my video

In my photo below I gathered all my Keep It Fluffy products. The container was a handmade Lush Keep It Fluffy gift set container.

rose petal infusion, jasmine flower infision, vanilla, lemon grass and ylang ylang.

It’s a beautiful, innocent soft floral with citrus notes. Its not sweet. Well maybe a tiny bit sweet. Very little.

I have a bunch of Lush Keep it Fluffy things. Some of the containers are empty. And i still have bubble bars, empty shower gels and other bath stuff in this scent. Myself and others have been hinting to Mark C from Lush about re-making keep it fluffy for a few years now.

And the Lush Kitchen did remake the shower gel, (below) yay!! In 2025 for one of the monthly Subscription boxes.

Maybe someday. I can always hope.

Above is my empty bottle of ‘Rose Tinted Spectacles’ which was a liquid bubble bath that was sold at the B Never store and its the Keep It Fluffy scent.

ETA: As of 2021 Lush now sells this perfume again! I think it’s limited edition.

The ‘Keep It Fluffy bubble bottle’ bubble bar on the left is in the same shape as the perfume bottle. Lush made these in 2019

Heres a keep it fluffy bath bomb thst Lush made as a Lush product and wasn’t at their B Never boutique.

Also in the Keep It Fluffy scent is the ‘Funny Face’ Fun bar, which was exclusive and free at a Lush Event in England for one night. A very lovely woman got one for me 🙏🏼❤️

Funny Face was an old movie with Audrey Hepburn. The exclusive Lush cinema were giving out fun bars with the Keep It Fluffy scent.

The lights in the display room were a pink neon

In my photo above are all my products from B Never back in the day. i still have the cleaned out, empty containers in a box in my lush room closet.

Yog Nog Yule Log

5 out of 5 rating

See my 3 minute tub demo video below

This has such a rich, luscious scent of vanilla and rich yumminess. Yog Nog is a great dessert-like Christmas scent. Its got lots of vanilla, ylang ylang, tonka. Its sweet, but not cloyingly so. Imagine Lush Butterball but with some clove and nutmeg and carmel notes thrown in, along with even more of an array of wonderful, skin softening ingredients.

This is quite possibly the best Lush bath product ive ever had the pleasure of using.

Im pretty sure having a romantic relationship with food…or bath products that look like food…is weird.

I love this bar so much. I wish i could hug it.

Thank you Lush for having a stroke of genius.

I’m not ashamed to say that saved a fair sized chunk of this bubble bar to rub on my arms legs and face.

Yes, i know we’re not supposed to use a bubble bar this way. I just couldnt help it, its THAT good.

Rest assured though-it was worth it.

The water is so moisturizing with this bubble bar that it’s harder to get quite the ‘loft’ of bubbles like the usual lush bubble bars bring. The extra decadence is worth the loss of bubbles trust me.

I would rate this one of those rare products that is above a 5 out of 5 rating.

I would say this has the potential for being a classic, like Snowcake or Luxury Lush Pud.

*Stares at any potential readers from Lush Inc in a pleading way*

I will definitely buy 5-10 of these.

Here is my 3 minute tub demo video below.

So you’ve had your fill of Christmas dinner, you’ve drunk all the mulled wine you can hold and you’re stuffed to the brim with mince pies… So what do you say when someone offers you a sweet treat filled with warming cinnamon and nutmeg powders, softening soya milk and moreish cocoa butter? Say yes of course! There is always room for more pudding and this skin softening dessert is worth the extra indulgence. Crumble this bubbly Battenburg under running water to release tempting mounds of fluffy foam. Climb in and let the Fair Trade shea butter soften skin as clove bud oil warms you from top to toe. A final flourish of uplifting ylang ylang oil encourages positivity and ensures that even the terrible Christmas cracker jokes don’t turn you into a Scrooge.

Candy Cane bubble bar

2025

This year, 2021, Candy Cane has a new scent. Peppermint! Also, in past years it has been red and white. This year it’s pink and white.

2017-2020

3 out of 5 rating

£3.95 (converted to $5.13)

I like this new Candy Cane reusable bubble bar. For a reusable bubble bar its nice. Its harder for me to like the reusable kind for whatever reason. I guess its the softer texture i like. But like i said i make an exception for this one because of the way it looks. A perfect candy cane. Spot on. You can even hang it on the tree as an ornament.

Makes a cute stocking stuffer for Christmas.

I like the surprising fruity scent. Lush says its a new scent. The ingredients say its made with l lemon and bergamot.

For whstever reason i smell cherries, and im not complaining. I like this smell.

The color of the water is kind of a peach color.

This makes lots of bubbles! And as you can see from my video i had an entire bar left! More than enough for a second bath! Possibly a third.

While i like this i might buy one other but Im not sure what im looking for as far as bumping this to a higher rating. I guess because i like the bath bombs more than the bubble bars, and i like the reusables even less. Like i say its a 3 rating so that means i would indeed recommend it, its just not high up on the list of lush Christmas 2018 products. There are plenty of products for Christmas this year from Lush that i like more.

If it was not reusable but had the same shape, and had white and red sparkles on it and had mint along with the cherry, that would bump it up to a 4 or 5.

Here is a 2 minute tub demo i recorded for you of the Candy Cane reusable bubble bar.

Lush description: What’s red and white and can be used over and over? A decoration for the tree or a cheeky stocking filler, the possibilities are endless when you take a trip down candy lane. Hang out with this double stripe of bergamot and Sicilian lemon oils to lift the mood and create a fruity fresh fragrance that will have you bathing time and time again. Hold under the running water to froth up mounds of fluffy bubbles before placing on the side to dry, ready for your next trip to candyland.

Bearded Lady

4 out of 5 rating

Fruity and woody.

Made with the same ingredients as Lush ‘King of Skin’ body conditioner.

It has banana in it for moisturizing properties. It also has oat milk. It doesnt necessarily smell like banana though. It has sandalwood for starters, which i love, but it makes the scent of this slightly woody and nice.

I love king of skin bar so its no wonder i like the scent of this.

Its cute for Christmas.

Originally it was released in 2005/2006 and i bought one then via lush uk.

And then in 2017 the Lush Kitchen re-made it for us to buy, which is where i got this one.

.

Lemon bubble brush

3 out of 5 rating

Lemon bubble brush is one of three new re-usable style bubble bars from Lush. While i dont normally like the reusables as much as Lush regular squishy bubble bars, these new bubble brushes are fun to use!

This is the yellow bubble brush new for 2018. Unlike its blue and pink counterparts this one smells lemony. It has the same scent as Lush ‘Lemslip’ buttercream. Its made with lime, and sweet orange oil.

It’s not very sweet. In fact i wish it were more sweet. And honestly, i wish it smelled stronger.

It leaves a bright, sunny yellow hue to the bath water.

I like to blend it with the blue bubble brush sometimes.

I like the mint and candy bubble brushes more than this yellow lemon one because the scents and colors are nicer to me. Just a personal preference.

I liked using it but i wouldn’t necessarily buy another one. Whereas i would buy anothrr blue one.

while the re-usable bubble bars are not my favorite…these new bubble brushes are fun. The re-usable consistency lends itself very well to these ‘brushes’ shape.

The Candy bubble brush is my second favorite bubble brush.

Candy bubble brush is made with the Lush ‘Candy Fluff’ scent. synthetic musk is used in this because in order to use real musk the animal is killed.

i like this one because the scent is sweet and nice like some kind of pink candy.

Heres a video i made where i demo all of the bubble brushes including the Pink Candy bubble brush

I can use it by itself to make a pink color or i sometimes like to mix colors as below

Can’t decide which one to go for? As the saying goes – different strokes for different folks, which is why there’s a palette of three colours to Picasso from (but it wouldn’t Erté to try them all). Candy Bubble Brush creates a vibrant pink with a sweet candy fluff scent that will have you coming back for more.

Pink Petigrain

2 out of 5 rating

This is the most bitter thing I’ve ever smelled in a long time.

I wanted to like this because its so pretty.

Pink petigrain bubble bar is supposed to share its scent with the Lush madame president bath bomb. Grapefruit and petigrain.

Firstly, i LOVE the scent of Madame President. I bought six of them.

Secondly, i HATE the scent of this Pink Petigrain blossom. When i got it out of my package my eyes lit up because of the pretty coral color and the flower shape.

But i recoiled back when my nose smelled it. I said to myself ‘There is NO WAY my petigrain flower smells like madame president bath bomb’.

Maybe because some things melted in my order the scents combined strangely? Dunno.

I have both Madame President bomb & Pink Petitgrain blossom bubnle bar side by side. NO.

I don’t know if i got a bad one or what

Did my nose just all of a sudden after 17 years just say ‘April, i’m done.’? I’m not sure, but suffice it to say i dont like the bitter, unpleasant smell of this bubble bar, and i won’t be buying another one. I had to use something else with it because i couldnt stand the smell. How odd. I havent had a reaction to a lush product in quite sometime. But i guess i cant like them all. *Shrug*

Your mileage may vary.

Description

For a couple of hours, lay back and indulge in pink waters covered in soft, fluffy bubbles. Calming petitgrain oil works its wonders on worries and cares, the woody scent evoking images of summer walks through citrus groves. Meanwhile, refreshing grapefruit oil lifts moods high above the clouds of the day, bringing with it memories of breakfasts taken on warm, sunlit verandas. Hold this flower under running water and let it spin and build bubbles before breathing deeply and allowing yourself to be transported away on a cheerful, summer breeze.

Mint bubble brush

Mint bubble brush is one of three new ‘bubble brush’ design type of re-usable bubble bars from Lush Cosmetics.

Lush has come out with five new re-usable bubble bars, three of them being in the bubble brush type. Mint is the blue one. Its got a minty scent that isnt too sweet. In fact i i wish it were a *bit* more sweet. Its the scent of their ‘Freeze’ shower gel.

Its not quite like Christingle body conditioner. Mint bubble brush isnt that sweet. Its the scent of their ‘Freeze’ shower gel.

I love the deep blue hue one can attain with this bubble bar. Its tun to drip blotches of blue on the bubbles. And it’s fun to paint the bubbles as i show in the video.

I enjoy combining colors, as those of you who have seen my bath cocktails know. I often like to create gradients or ombre effects with different bath products.

Well these new Lush bubble bars lend themselves well to this kind of blending, as ive tried to show below.

I think these new bubble brush bars are quite fun. I like that the three primary colors are represented. I would give these bubble brush bars a 4 out of 5. While i don’t particularly like the re-usable bubble bars as much as the regular lush bubble bars, these are fun because you can use them in different ways. I would buy another one of each color. But it’s not one i would stock up on.

This bubble bar was made only for one Valentine’s Day years ago. It’s made in the same scent as the Lush ‘Two Hearts Beating As One’ scent. It’s very floral with Jasmine.

This sounds like it may or may not be a scent twin for Two Hearts Beating as One. I’m going to ask Lush to see if I’m right.

here’s my tub demo and my review
