Akaname

4 out of 5 rating.

See my 2 minute tub demo video below.

This isnt a reusable bar as i originally thought. Its got a light and pretty floral-fruity fragrance. Same ingredients, excapt the rose and sandalwood as the lush superworld unknown perfume. Its not the same as that but along the same lines having cassia. No glitter. Makes a pretty lilac colored water. Not conditioning. Very cute. 4 out of 5 rating. Comparing this to the other 50 different new bars I wouldn’t buy another one.

“Lemon keeps away the blues

Lick bath time into shape with this little blue goblin, packed with the freshest fragrance of lemon and lime. Inspired by the Japanese bathroom spirit with a big tongue this friendly goblin will slurp around the bath to ensure you and your bathroom is left squeaky clean.”

– The tangy fresh scent of sweet and zesty lime pastilles.

– Green Fun and Key Lime Pie lip balm.

– Keeping dirt at bay and revelling in a clean bath of foamy bubbles.

Benefits:

– Sicilian lemon oil adds a cheery, mood-boosting hit and is sure to raise your spirits.

Ahoy bubble bar

4 out of 5 rating

see my tub demo video below 😊

I initially thought this might smell like the ‘Big Blue’ bath bomb, but it’s a different scent. I like the different scent. It smells refreshing, but not quite in a Big Blue or Whoosh jelly way. It’s even nicer than those. It’s got less menthol and lemon than whoosh, and it’s got no lavender like Big Blue. Ahoy has cinnamon, lime and lemon.

Yo ho and a bottle of fun!

Ahoy matey! If a storm’s been shivering your timbers, batten down the hatches, drop anchor and head below deck to the bathroom. Become a bubbling buccaneer and feel a citrus breeze billowing in your sails as you float across sparkling blue oceans. Time to earn those sea legs, sailor!

You’ll love this if you like:

– Chewing on zingy lime sweeties.

– Woosh shower jelly, Big Blue bath bomb or Bohemian soap. – Swashbuckling adventures in the bath.

Benefits:

– Lemon and lime oils help to brighten and cleanse, so even the most salty pirates can feel squeaky clean. – The rich and juicy scent of cassis oil brings a deep note to this jolly bubble bar.

– Enjoy your bubble bar like you enjoy your baths – naked!

Heading out on an adventure? This refreshing bubbler will really put the wind in your sails. Run the tap and pop this bottle under the flow to unleash a torrent of foam scented with cassia, lime and Sicilian lemon oils. This zingy blend will instantly boost your mood and make you feel like the king of the world. Then put it somewhere dry and draining so you can set sail all over again.

How to use: Holding your bubble bar by it’s white cap, let the running water flow over the bottle or sweep across the water for a bountiful booty of glistening bubbles. When you’ve had your fill leave it to dry, ready to be used over and over again.

How to store: Don’t make this bubble bar walk the plank before you’re ready! Store in a cool, dry location, away from landlubbers and crackens alike. Savvy?

Sodium Carbonate, Sodium Laureth Sulfate, Cream of Tartar (Potassium bitartrate), Lauryl Betaine, Lime Oil (Citrus aurantifolia), Glycerine, *Limonene, Titanium Dioxide, Cassia Oil (Cinnamomum cassia), Sicilian Lemon Oil (Citrus limonum), Cornstarch (Zea mays), Cetearyl Alcohol & Sodium Lauryl Sulfate, Synthetic Fluorphlogopite, Tin Oxide, *Cinnamal, *Citral, *Linalool, Perfume, Colour 77007, Colour 42090, Colour 42053, Colour 42090:

This one below is from the U.S. Lush Kitchen subscription box for May 2024

1000 Kisses Perfume bubble bottle

The one for Valentine’s is yellow and the one from the Harajuku Lush store is Red.

See my Tub Demo and review video below.

This smells just like the perfume. And it stays true to how it smells when it’s dry. It’s an earthy scent. I would rate it a 5 out of 5 rating.

The Lush description says it smells like apricot. 1000 Kisses Deep has an complex, earthy scent with a note that smells like apricot.

Some of you will know what this scent smells like if you’ve tried the Lush ‘Beautiful’ shower gel.

“Fall for fairytale bubbles

If 1000 baths are not enough, try this reusable bubble bar for endless suds. Lose your heart to an amorous blend of warming myrrh, animalic labdanum and peachy osmanthus. Overflowing with luxurious essential oils, 1000 Kisses will perfume your skin and leave you smelling sweet for intimate encounters.

You’ll love this if you like:

– Sharing bubble baths.

– 1000 Kisses Deep perfume, Love And Light hand cream. – Decadent, spicy scents.

Benefits:

– Frankincense helps to tone and cleanse.

– Myrrh will give you a positive lift.

– Fragrant and floral, osmanthus is a flower with soothing properties.”

It’s interesting that the water is green and not yellow. 1000 Kisses Deep is a scent that was sold at Lush sister company ‘B Never Too Busy To Be Beautiful’. They made bath and beauty products that were a little bit more upscale than Lush. One of line of bath products was called ‘1000 Kisses Deep’ taken from the lyrics of a song. Lush made perfume, soap, incense, liquid bath oil, bath salts, bubble bath, lotion etc. In this fragrance. It was one of my faves. The fragrance was complex, multi layered, having myrrh, orange oil, labdanum and osmanthus.

How to use: Swirl this love potion through the bath or hold under the running water to create stacks of sensual bubbles. Layer up with the perfume for extra impact.

How to store: Store somewhere cool and dry until you’re ready for this little bar to sweep you off your feet.

Sodium Carbonate, Sodium Laureth Sulfate, Cream of Tartar (Potassium bitartrate), Lauryl Betaine, Perfume, Titanium Dioxide, Glycerine, *Limonene, Myrrh Resinoid (Commiphora myrrha), Labdanum Resinoid (Cistus ladaniferus), Osmanthus Absolute (Osmanthus fragrans), Cetearyl Alcohol & Sodium Lauryl Sulfate, Synthetic Fluorphlogopite, Tin Oxide, Butylphenyl Methylpropional, *Citral, Coumarin, *Linalool, Colour 45410, Colour 47005, Colour 15510, Colour 19140, Colour 77491, Colour 77266

Bubble And Squeak Bubble Scrub

5 out of 5 rating

see my 1 minute tub demo video below

This doesn’t color the water, and it doesn’t make near as many bubbles as most other Lush bubble bars. But it does smell WONDERFUL. Its made in one of my favoriteLush shower scent yummy yummy yummy.. And it’s conditioning but not greasy. It left my skin smooth and soft.

Blue Skies And Fluffy White Clouds

This bubble bar has been around with Lush for years and years. It’s a bigger bar than all Lush bubble bars (except The Comforter) and hence can give you two-four baths. It remains as popular as it ever was with a combination of Frankincense, Cinnamon and Patchouli and a psychodelic blue and white swirled color.

The scent is incens-y. At one time one could buy these by the slice in an even bigger size. It makes a serene. medium-blue color in the water. I often just have this by itself because it is such a unique scent and color. It has no problem standing alone. Other lush bath products with patchouli would go well with this bubble bar. Waylander soap, Tramp shower and hair gel, Amazonian message bar. The original product which was a liquid bubble bath. Blue Skies and Fluffy White clouds Bath foam.

Lush Times 2006 description: Imagine you’re in the thousand year old spice garden of an Eastern mystic, breathing in the balancing scent of patchouli, calming, relaxing frankincense and stress-relieving, stimulating cinnamon. Now take this vision and imagine it transported to a bath near you. Imagine bathing in a deep blue bath with fluffy white bubbles, inhaling the same scents, emerging calm and revived, ready to face the world with a clear head and steady mind. Now visualize the Blue Skies and Fluffy White Clouds Bubble Bar Slice in your hands and make this vision real.

“A cloud nine patchouli soak

Why so cirrus? Tell the thunderclouds overhead to fog off with a bath to clear the skies. Sit in heaps of fluffy white bubbles, before heading back down to earth. A balancing blend of woody patchouli, warming frankincense and comforting cinnamon infuse in the bath, while the water turns a brilliant sky-blue. If you’ve been feeling under the weather, you’ll be right as rain after this patchouli-powered soak.”

You’ll love this if you like:

– Blue sky thinking in the bath.

– Aromaco solid deodorant, Tramp body spray, Pirates Of The Carrageenan bath bomb. – Having your head in the clouds with your feet firmly on the ground.

Benefits:

– Commonly used in aromatherapy, it’s said patchouli can help to balance emotions. – Warming cinnamon will cheer up dreary days.

– Aside from its incense-like fragrance, frankincense tones and soothes the skin.

How to use: Crying out cloud for a bath FULL of bubbles? This one’s for you. This double-size bubble bar is big enough for two or three baths, but if you’re feeling extravagant why not use the whole thing!

How to store: If you’re saving this bubble bar for a rainy day, store it somewhere cool and dry until you’re ready to use

Sodium Bicarbonate, Cream of Tartar (Potassium bitartrate), Sodium Laureth Sulfate, Lauryl Betaine, Cornflour (Zea mays), Patchouli Oil (Pogostemon cablin), Frankincense Resinoid (Boswellia carterii), Cinnamon Leaf Oil (Cinnamomum zeylanicum), Amyl Cinnamal, *Eugenol, *Limonene, Perfume, Colour 42090

I bought three bottles when lush uk decided to remake the liquid version for their Lush forum member customers 😊

Body Spray and Body Butter 2025

Big Bottle Of Calm Bubble Bottle

5 out of 5 rating. See my 5 minute tub demo video below 😊

This reminds me of Lush ‘Ickle Baby Bot’ bath bomb but a stronger lavender scent.

“Relax in lavender lathers

Lay back in bubbly purple waters, and let your mind drift away to a French lavender field. Breathe in, breathe out. The worries of the day float away on the chamomile tide.

You’ll love this if you like:

– Shutting out the world in a relaxing lavender bubble bath.

– Golden Slumbers bath bomb, Deep Sleep bath bomb, or anything from the Sleepy range. – A good night’s sleep.

Benefits:

– Lavender oil and lavender absolute from France soothe your mind and help aid sleep.

– Gently cleansing chamomile blue oil calms both skin and mind.

– Without a shred of plastic in sight, you’re doing your bit for the planet that grows these beautiful ingredients.

How to use: You can use this bubble bottle over, and over, and over again. Hold under the tap for mountains of bubbles, then save for when you’re ready to summon splendid suds all over again. Best used fresh.

How to store: Store in a cool, dry place before your first encounter, and in between future soaks.

Sodium Carbonate, Sodium Laureth Sulfate, Cream of Tartar, Lauryl Betaine, Glycerine, Perfume, Titanium Dioxide, Benzoin,Lavender Oil, Lavender Absolute, Chamomile Blue Oil, Roman Chamomile Oil, Tonka Absolute,

Cetearyl Alcohol & Sodium Lauryl Sulfate, Synthetic Fluorphlogopite, Tin Oxide, *Benzyl Benzoate, *Benzyl Cinnamate, *Cinnamal, *Coumarin, *Geraniol, *Limonene, *Linalool, Colour 77007, Colour 17200, Colour 77491, Colour 77266, Colour 42090”

This is bigger than i realized. I like that.

Its scents is along the same lines as Sleepy or Twight, but less floral. Instead of ylang ylang flower like sleepy, Big Bottle of Calm has blue chamomile which brings another layer of herbal scent.

Lush claims this reusable bar will give up to ten baths. We shall see. As the video shows, it looks like i didnt even use any as it looks like nothing is gone of the bar after using it for my bath.

The silver glitter on the outside doesnt go all through the bar. As soon as you wet it tge glitter comes off. So it leaves no glitter in the bath water.

Bathos

5 out of 5 rating

See my 4 minute tub demo video below

Lush says:

“Roses are red, violets suit you. Sink into the lilac-hued waters of this floral classic. Posies of violet and spicy clove fragrance and soften your skin. The Ancient Greeks used violets in love potions and considered it a symbol of fertility and love – why not be seduced by this sweet, purple bath?”

Review: The classic spicy “Bathos” bubble bar gives great looking, deep purple water. It has the strong scent of sweet violets and spicy cloves. Barthes is VERY fragrant.  There’s also a teeny bit of dark green glitter on the top. This bubble bar can stand alone without being combined with anything. 5 stars. *****

Before this bubble bar existed there was a liquid bubble bath called Bathos which had the same scent as the bubble bar that came later, but the liquid one was dark green. And before that they had a bath bomb called Bathosphere around 1999 or so which was green and had the same scent.

you can see my bathos perfume from Lush UK in my photo below

Here’s a picture of the Bathos Bath Foam: http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y181/lush-a-lot/LushBathosbathfoamsml-1.jpg

lush says:

“You’ll love this if you like:

– Swirly purple-hued baths that smell like violet flavoured sweets.

– The scent of Daddy-O shampoo, Sugar Daddy-O solid conditioner, or Kerbside Violet perfume. – Taking time to appreciate the small, fleeting moments in life.”

Benefits:

– Violet leaf has anti-inflammatory and antiseptic effects on the skin.

– The scent of violets help to settle your mood and mind, aiding restful sleep.

– Ylang ylang oil helps to reassure and uplift, leaving you feeling happy and carefree.

How to use: Crumble under running water to fill your bath with purple rain and fluffy white bubbles. How to store: Keep in a cool, dry place to keep this potent bubble bar ultra-violet.

Sometimes I like to go the “all purple” route,  too and have Bathos with a Lush Jingle Spells  bath bomb or a Lush Blackberry Bomb.

By the way, here’s a picture of a Bathos that is 5 years old. The dates on the wrapper there. I found it at the bottom of one of my lush tupperware tubs.

A more recent tub demo video

Here’s a not very recent demo video i made a long time ago.

Lush Times 2006 Description: If you prefer to keep your bath to yourself and wouldn’t dream of allowing anyone else anywhere near the bathroom when you’re in there naked, please don’t allow the following suggestion to detract from your enjoyment of a bubbly, mauve Bathos bath. If you prefer to share your bath for reasons of ecological soundness or just plain fun, then Bathos is absolutely ideal! We make it with some of most sensual, relaxing essential oils on the planet, including lots of violet leaf which is reputed to help people remember why they got together in the first place. Don’t put one of these in the bath in the morning on a workday. Save it for later.

Sodium Bicarbonate, Cream of Tartar , Sodium Laureth Sulfate, Lauryl Betaine, Perfume, Alpha-Isomethyl ionone, Violet Leaf Absolute, Rose Absolute, Jasmine, Ylang Ylang Oil, Bergamot Oil, Clove Bud Oil, Titanium Dioxide, Synthetic Fluorphlogopite, Tin Oxide, *Eugenol, *Limonene, *Linalool, Colour 77491, Colour 19140:1, Colour 42090:2, Colour 60725, Colour 14700, Colour 17200, Colour 45410:1

Green Day

5 out of 5 ratingGreen Day is a lovely deep forest green bar. The scent of Green Day seems to be Lush’s answer to our cries to make more “green” smelling or “earthy” smelling products. This smells like a scent the guys would like too. This is more of a bright, woodsy green. Not really a grassy scent. Green Day gives the water a medium deep green color. The smell lasts on the skin awhile too. Green Day does not smell like any Lush product ive had in awile.

Perfume, Cocamide DEA, Patchouli Oil, Cedarwood Oil, Nettle Absolute, Clary Sage Oil

I would say it smells as if “Bamboo” soap and “Tramp” gel, mated and had a baby.

Lush 2006 description: Take a good soak in a clarifyingly woody patchouli, nettle, clary sage and cedarwood bath. Green Days brings the calm and stillness of the forest to your bathroom.

Yog Nog bubble bar (2019)

5 out of 5 rating. see my ten minute tub demo video below.

This year’s Yog Nog bubble bar looks different than last year’s. Many of you were telling me that you were somewhat disappointed in the performance of last years nog nog bubble bar because you didn’t get very many bubbles as it was very moisturizing with cocoa butter and shea butter, etc.

Well this years Yog Nog also has lots of cocoa butter. It looks different than last year’s battenburg cake style bar. The 2019 bar looks like something you would find in the shire, or a Dr Suess book. Like someplace fairies would live.

It’s got white and gold stripes of mixture and something creamy in the middle. It’s got a gold dipped tip too.

I found this bar to be just as moisturzing as last year’s bar. Keep in mind that i have hard water. So keep that in mind whenever review bubble bars, hard water makes it more difficult to get a lot of bubbles than it does for people who have soft water in their home. So if you have soft water where you live you’ll get even more bubbles than i did.

This bar feels so luxurious when it’s dissolving in your hand under the water stream. You can feel all of the moisturizing butters. My skin is grateful for this.

It doesn’t have as strong of a yog nog scent as the shower gel though, nor as strong of a yog nog scent as last year’s bubble bar. I have one left over from last year and it smells stronger of yog nog than this new bar. The new one still smells of the caramely yog nog scent, just not as strong as i was expecting. That said i still give this bar a 5 out of 5 star rating, for looks and performance.

Its yellow gold and has gold glittery water.

Santa

3 out of 5 rating

See my 2:34 minute tub demo video below

Santa

Santa is a reusable bubble bar wand.

Different than the one time squishy bubble bars, its a harder bar, thus this can be reused again in a second bath.

This is a very citrussy smelling bar. Its made with lemon, neroli and oramge. Its not sweet, at all.

Santa

You simply hold it under the water stream instead of smooshing it in your hand like the regular kind of lush bubble bars.

Its got a glittery white shimmer on its face.

The red color in back of this bar makes a reddish colored water. It makes tons of bubbles. I still had a whole bar left after this bath.

Polar Bear Plunge

See my 2 minute tub demo video below.

This cute little polar bear is almost too cute to use!

Hes made with real peppermint. Smells like a sweet candy cane for Christmas.

It has a white shimmer covering it.

Its firmer than some lush bubble bars.

This made tons of bubbles whether i cut it up or smooshed it with my hand.

Party Balloon reusable bubble bars!

5 out of 5 rating

See my 3 minute tub demo video below

Each of these have the same citrussy grapefruit and lime scent. Very citrussy but not sweet.

Lush introduced five balloon shaped reusable bubble bars at their new mega store in Liverpool Spa. For a limited time lush.co.uk has decided to make them available for the public to buy on their retail website.

I decided i would kill two birds with one stone and demo two new Lush products in one bath and video.

After i demo the balloon bubble bar first for you im also using the new exclusive ‘Sea Salt Bombshell’ after.

Both of these are part of the 350 new products i troduced this year at tge new Mega store Liverpool Spa.

This is what the water from the purple balloon looks like when used alone, before i added the blue bath bomb.

The salt is nice and big and pretty! Its very softening to my skin.

Fyi. My daughter found some blue crystals left on the sink area in the bathroom and looked at me oddly while she showed them to me.

We both laughed when she said she thought they looked like crystal meth from Breaking Bad.

I would highly recommend both of these products individually.

As you can see i had lots of bubbles in my bath and the bubble bar barely even looked used!

Girl Power

5 out of 5 rating See my tub demo video i made for you below.

This is a new scent Lush says.

Just the look of thus bubble bar drew me in. It looks like a cartoon. And im loving the fushia pink and blue colors.

Its scent is made with bergamot, ylang ylang, cedarwood, and benzoin. So its fruity, woody and floral. Altogether this makes a fruity/sexy/pretty perfume kind of scent. Its not too sweet. And its not too woody. Its mostly perfume-y in the best way.

I used the whole bar for my tub demo and review, however as i state in my video a person coukd easily use half of this bar and have enough bubbles for one bath. So while one can get two baths out of it, id rather use the whole thing the way it was made to use it. 🙂

This is a nice splurge bubble bar.

I would suggest this one!

Six

4 out of 5 rating.

see my 3 minute Tub Demo and Review video below.

This is a re-usable bubble bar for Valentine’s 2019.

Lush made this with their popular Yog Nog scent.

As i explain in the video, yog nog smells like a combination of eggnog and burnt sugar, like creme brulee topping.

While this reusable style doesnt have the yummy, squishy decadence that the yog Nog yule log bubble bar has, it does have that same amount of yummy scent.

I was impressed with how strongly this was scented even while i had it unddr the waterstream.

It made a TON of bubbles in my bath..and it didnt even look like it had been used at all!

So its QUITE econimcal to use.

They have a blue and yellow striped six bar and a pink and yellow striped bar.

The pink one made a lovely baby pink color to the water.

Love Token

4 out of 5 rating.  See my 2 minute Tub Demo and review video below

I LOVE this new scent that Lush has created. Theyve used this scent for Christmas in the Gingerbread Man Sparkle Jar, which im obsessed with.

Here’s my tub demo video, check out the glitter!

This is a reusable bubble bar, meaning you can use it more than once.

This was made with the yummy Gingerbread Sparkle jar scent. Its NOT the Lush floral ‘Ginger’ scent. This is a spicy yummy, Christmassy gingerbread scent.

If you have sore muscles or are cold this would be a good bath product to use because the ginger in this is nice and warming on the skin.

The bubble bar produces lots of bubbles.

You can use it for more than one bath but i used a whole one for my demo.

I love the gold shade water it makes, and i also love the gold sparkle it has too!

I stayed a little longer than i usually do in the bath just because of the therapuetic benefits of the ginger.

I would rate this a 4 out of 5. If it was a non-reusable, softer, smooshy type of lush bubble bar i would give it a 5 out of 5.

Open Your Heart

5 out of 5 rating. See my 2 minute Tub Demo Video below.

This is a WoW bath bomb for Valentines 2019. Its made in the Lush ‘Golden Pear’ fragrance. Its made with pear puree cardamom, and sandalwood.

All of Lush Golden Pear bath products have cocoa butter sandwhiched in the middle and this bar is no exception. This pear and cocoa butter mixture is Wonderful feeling. All silky and moisturizing.

Below are

Golden Pear bath bomb

Golden Pear bubble bar

Golden Pear soap

Open Your Heart bubble bar

Golden Pear solid add water mouthwash (exclusive, i got it at the Lush 2018 Creative Showcase

Golden Pear body spray

It Smells like a juicy pear.

I love that Lush made this bath bra to look like the outfit that designer Jean Gaultier made for Madonna back in the day.

Usually bubble bath products that have more moisturizing things in them dont produce enough bubbles. But this bubble bar syrprisingly in an exception.

I tried to show in my tub demo just how many hubbles this produced. Very pleased!

The water has a subtle gold shimmer in it and its a light goldrn yellow color.

Im glad i bought more than one.

I would highly recommend this.

Puddy Holly

4 out of 5 rating

£4.95/$6.49
This is not a returning product but is new.

This smells yummier than i thought it would. I thought it might be spicy like lush holly go lightly but Puddy Holly smells different, like a yummy almond and vanilla dessert. It smells similar to the popular Lush ‘Snowcake’ scent but a bit sweeter.

Puddy Holly is made with Tonka. Tonks bean smells much like vanilla onky a bit carmely.

Its not a strong heavy scent but more of a medium light scent.

Its got conditioning cocoa butter sandwhiched in the middle, which is moisturizing to my uber dry skin.

I like the pretty emerald colored water it gives.

There is also a bit of silver sparkle. Not a large amount though, its every so slight.

I would buy another, but i wouldn’t stock up on them. Thats why i give this bubble bar a 4 out of 5 rating.
