This Halloween shower gel is made with the Lush ‘Space Girl’ bath bomb scent. It’s fruity. Like a cross between citrus fruits and berryish fruits. Here below are more Lush products with the same exact scent:
Space Girl body spray
Space Girl bath bomb
Goth Fairy Sparkle bar
Stargazer Harajuku store bubble bar
I Want a Hippopotamus for Christmas bath bomb
Dinosaur Egg

My 19 year old daughter thinks it smells like ‘Skittles’ candy. 😊
It’s a thin consistency but i can let that slide since it’s such a fun shower gel. 👍🏼
You’ll love this if you like:
– Zingy sherbet citrus scents with a warm hint of almond.
– The Comforter bath bomb, Plum Rain shower gel or Argan Dragon shower oil.
Benefits:
– Grapefruit oil adds a fresh and fruity hit of uplifting fragrance, sure to boost your mood into the cosmos.
– A member of the citrus family, bergamot oil adds a cheery ray of sunshine to invigorate and enliven your bathing experience.
– Almond essential oil gives a touch of warm, sweet comfort.
I love the smell of this bath bomb. It’s made in the Brave toothy tabs scent which nice and orangey.
This year the Punkin Pumpkin has yellow eyes. They eyes don’t glow in the dark.
The ones below from last year with the white eyes glowed in the dark.
Punkin Pumpkin 2018
This smells like Pumpkin Pie to me. Tbere have been three different pumpkin shaped bath bombs in past years, all different than this year’s. None of them had a pumpkin pie scent. So i was glad to discover this one does.
Its a slooooow fizzer. Very quietly and sloowly moving around the tub. I could see tge pumpkin powder that lush adds to this bomb when i drained the tub after my bath.
Tub demo video
Supposedly the eyes, and stem of this bath bomb glow in the dark. The previous years pumpkin bombs were fast fizzers so this bonb is altogether different. No glitter. Made the water a bright popsicle orange color.
Mercury Retrograde was made with the Lush ‘Gingerbread House’ scent. Its made with Ginger, cinnamon, buchu oil, and lemon oil.
Its a slow, creamy fizzer. It rocks back and forth in the water. I love bombs with movement.
Also, at one point it actually started to spin. Just like the planet Mercury moving in retrograde (backwards).
Fun!
Also, there is green, purple and orange glitter in the orange water! Nice!
I took a half point off of a 5 out of 5 star rating only because the bath art rings couldve been more colorful. But this is a near perfect bomb in my opinion.
I Bought these Lush Christmas products too and received them in the mail Tuesday october 1. See video below.
Meanwhile i bought this exclusive Lush Christmas advent calendar below which has twenty of the the 60 products.
Here is my haul video of the Lush Christmas 2019 Advent Calender. Not all of the listed products below are in the Advent Calendar. 🙂
Here is my Lush Halloween products video
As I do every year, I’ll start adding each products photos, ingredients, scent descriptions, and links to my own personal reviews of these products as I will buy them all.
I already have a dozen or so of these new and returning products, so I will add those first.
Witch’s Cauldron is a Lush Oxford Street Halloween 2018 exclusive. only 99 were made.
It’s called a fun bar, and it is a ‘FUN’ multi-purpose bar, but it also has three little bath bombs in it.
There is a total of six pieces; three shaped bath bombs and three colored sections of FUN.
It says on the instructions how to use it
So i formed a ‘kind of Cauldron’. lol. And i made little purple bombs or bubbles i’m not sure which 🙂
I put it at the bottom of the tub and i started filling it. When the water went in the cauldron the bath bomb i tucked inside began to bubble and it looked like a little cauldron!
Here’s a 58 second video i recorded
I then gathered it all together and smooshed it together and was able to use the whole thing as a bubble bar. I held it in the tub under the stream of water coming out of the faucet. it made a LOT of bubbles and i still had the entire thing left.
It looks like i hardly used any! The water turned green, then black!
Then i threw the last two tiny bombs into my tub. And my tub looked like a larger version of my little Fun cauldron!
It’s made with the Lush’Lord of Misrule’ scent; vanilla, patchouli & black pepper.
Mark Constantine Creator of Lush Incorporated from Lush invited me to England on a trip to see the Creative Showcase!
I was treated like a queen. I’m pinching myself because it seems like a dream.
I’ve recorded the below video Showcase for you
I’ll add other info, pics and videos of the products as I do every year.
I’ll be attending with my husband and ive spoken to all the other Bloggers who will be attending also. I dont know which is more exciting; being in another country, seeing my fellow Bloggers who i speak to everyday but have never been in the same room with, or being at the Lush Creative Showcase.
Lush will have all the Halloween and Christmas 2018 products as well as more exclusive products.
ill be filming (some live), vlogging, blogging my trip, from the airport to the last day. ill be buying every one of the products, and i will take photos and record tub videos of each of the items, and add them here to this blog while i’m there.
Where do I start? I know, how about YOG NOG bubble bar?!?!?!?!
Heavenly, slightly buttery sweet, slightly dusted with Christmas spices.
I LIKE buttery.
*Cue fainting*
I love a spicy Christmas, a pink Christmas, a citrussy Christnas, or even a sweet Christmas. But Give me a Plum Christmas…or a Buttery Christmas ANY day.
Also, anything having the word ‘plum’ is already on my list to buy. I never NOT love anything Lush makes with plum in its name.
Maybe buttery plums.
Anyway, another item that’s got my eye is ‘Naughty Elf’. I’m hoping naughty elf has the Lush jilted elf jelly scent. It’s an odd, peppery little scent but I miss smelling it in the form of the Elf on a Shelf fun bar and the Jilted Elf jelly.
It looks like Candy Mountain bubble bar is coming back but apart from that there is a Shit load of NEW, or at least seemingly new products. I count 25. How about you? As LushLeaks states there may be more products than the ones listed, who knows.
Damnit, I want three to five of every bath bomb and bubble bar already! WHY do you DO this to me Lush!
I’m trying to get a sense on the theme this holiday… Its not ‘Space-y’ as last year’s theme. It’s not a particularly fruity theme at first glance, though the soaps have distinctly fruity qualities to their names certainly.
But I’m too distracted to think anymore about that because of the God Damn abundance of LIQUID shower gel goodness!!! Ahhhhhh!!! A Liquid Twilight/Sleepy shower CREME?! *Lip quivers* BUT…apparently we may also get Cinders shower gel! I love that spicy orange scent. While Cinders isn’t as spicy as Lush ‘Hot Toddy’ or ‘Glogg’, it is spicier than the usual orange scents, because of the addition of cinnamon. At least it used to have cinnamon. Lush has been changing their shower gel formulations so who knows.
It’s almost too good to be true.
It really does seem like they listened to all of us!
Additionally, I noticed a bomb called Puddy Holly. There WAS a Puddy Holly bath *bomb*, so I’m wondering if the bubble bar will be anything like it. It had a Snowcake-like scent with a little extra somethin somethin.
Kind of tired of the bubble spinners to be honest BUT…a Snowflake. I bet it’s absolutely gorgeous, all icing looking with sparkle.
Also, my Spidey senses tells me that many (not all) of these lovely, Yummy sounding soaps will all have new scents. Im wondering if Satsuma soap will be anything like their Satsuma bath bomb, which I LOVED.
And am I the only one who senses something else plum rain scented?
Dying to know what the two ‘gift bath bombs’ will be. I’m imagining actual bombs with some kind of gift shape?
Lastly, I always love the Lush bath melts and oils a LOT as some of you know so I can’t wait to try plum pudding bath melt.
This is the long awaited (if youre an OG Lushie) Cinders shower gel.
Many Lushies have been wsiting for a shower gel of Cinders since lush first introduced their Cinders bath bomb during holidays past.
Fireball bath bomb has the same scent.
The Cinders bath bomb (and later – uk forum perfume that i bought on the forum) has a base of orange oil and cinnamon leaf.
This shower gel however, adds some extra pumpkin pie spices that were not in the original. Alspice, nutmeg, clove, and pumpkin puree!
So itslike a combination of orange and pumpkin pie. Quite different.
Im surprised this isnt called a shower cream since it has extra moisturizing properties like almond oil and pumpkin seed oil.
I like the orange color for Fall. And i like that Lush added the obligatory American spice mix.
scent family photo i took in 2016
Cinders bath bomb
Cinders perfume
Cinders shower gel
Cinders solid shower gel
Dark Arts bath bomb
Fireball bath bomb
The consistency is a nice medium-thick.
The scent doesnt partcularly last on the skin.
I would drfinitely enjoy using the large bottle i have and the naked Cinders shower gel also, but i dont know that id care to buy another bottle bottle. Thsts why i rate Cinders shower gel a 4 out of 5 rating.
The original product was a bath bomb in the mid 2000’s.
Theres also a candle
Here is a 7 minute close up sink demo i recorded of Cinders shower gel.
I have two Eyeball bath bombs. see my recorded tub demo below
One i got from a Lush store. And one i got from Lush Uk mail order site lush.co.uk
Ive had the one i got from a Lush store in the uk on Sept 22 for two weeks. To me it didnt smell that exciting. In fact, it almost smelled sort of blah with maybe some lavender.
However, im SO glad i decided to order another one from mail order. Because THAT one was an entirely different story scent-wise.
Oh my GOD the gorgeousness of this pretty and yummy scent….this smells so familiar.
I looked it up on thesite to see look at the ingredients. As i read the ingredients on the site it dawned on me….this Eyeball bath bomb has the Lush SOFTY bath bomb scent!!!! YES. Thank you so much Lush.
The irony of this gorey eyeball having the pretty ‘Softy’ scent is wonderful. Lush also made a bubnle bar one Christmas called Hedgehog, with that same softy scent.
This scent is made with orange oil, lavender, ylang ylang and rose. Basically everything that is good-put together in one bomb.
Its both ‘pretty’ and ‘yummy’. I can smell the ylang ylang and the rose primarily, which is a GORGEOUS combination in itself. But then comes the wafting of the orange oil note to give it that ‘Lushious, sweet, fruit’ note. Then, comes the bright herbal pop of lavender to lift the whole combination up.
Heavenly. One must absolutely have a fresh one from mail order, otherwise youre in danger of getting a blah one, or God forbid, the even more rare one that smells like furniture cleaner, which i have had in the past as well.
A good, very fresh one is a 5 out of 5 rating.
An older one thats been sitting in the store for some days can be a 2 out of 5.
I pray you get a great one folks, its heavenly.
Here is a tub demo video i recorded for you.
These products below were made in the same blend, including Powder Puff Deo which isn’t shown below.I need to find my pics of it.
i LOVE the Ectoplasm scent. Its been a long time since ive really loved a lush citrussy scent.
Exctoplasm has an addictive effervescent scent of grapefruit and tangerine. It smells like fizzy soda. Moreso than Bubble or Celebrate imo. Ectoplasm isnt as sweet as those. It actually makes my mouth water. Its got a strong sour lime grapefruit note.
I love that the solid or naked version in my pics below actually glow under ultraviolet light.
It all started with the Ectoplasm jelly bath bomb of the same name.
After lush introduced the bath bomb for the first time in 2017 it was a hit. And the bath oil TreeD was also a hit that Christmas. On the customer forum alot of lushied told Mark Constantine how much we loved the scent and hoped someday he would make a perfume out of it.
The next year they introduced this shower cream, a naked (solid) shower gel version, as well as a solid perfume and a washcard.
Lush made an Ectoplasm shower slime for Christmas 2021. Sept 23. In my picture above.
its got all kinds of citrussy smelling fruits in here; tangerine, bergamot, grapefruit. But its absolutely my favorite citrus shower gel. Its got a very creamy texture. Its thick.
Here is a demo video and review i recorded
The picture below shows the Lush ‘Naked’ (containerless) or solid form of the Ectoplasm shower gel.
Scent Family Photo
This Lush ‘Tree D” bath oil was made later than the products above, but here’s a shot of it by itself. It has the Ectoplasm scent too!
it smells extremely lemony. Must be the lemongrass in it. I love lemongrass. It’s not a complicated scent, pretty much citrussy. Not sweet at all. Makes your mouth kind of pucker when you smell it. I like the glow in the dark effect. It’s definitely not moisturizing in any way, in fact it kind of dries out my already dry skin. But it’s cute for Halloween with its look, and it’s glow in the dark quality.
not to be confused with another lush product called bewitched which is a massage bar that doesnt have the same scent and is a completely seperate and different product.
It’s such a nice mellow (but not weakly scented) berryish scent. I don’t care what form i get this scent in but the Bewitched bubble bar is one of my favorites.
It’s perfect to ‘cocktail’ with other Lush products for changing/customizing the color of the water. The black color of Bewitched can be combined with Monsters Ball bath bomb to make a dark inky purple colored water.
Lush description: After a busy day whizzing around on a broomstick, ground yourself with olibanum and be spellbound by bergamot. Twitch your nose and breathe in this familiar blackberry scent. Whether in this life or one of the other eight, you’d be a fool to let this pass you by!
Here’s my tub demo video of it
Here’s a ‘scent family portrait’ i made of all the Lush products with the blackberry bomb scent.
I laid one of my something wicked on top if a squeeze of Ectoplasm shower gel. I love green and purple.
Below are two pics ive taken showing how the purple something wicked melt looks in a green sparkly water made from a green lush bath bomb.4 out of 5 rating
The latest addition to this scent family is an exclusive shower bomb (there two in the picture) made in the Lush Labs 2018.
Something Wicked bath melt
From the title of a Ray Bradbury novel/screenplay/movie.
Review: Having a real ginger root scent, and not that of Gingerbread. The ginger is softened by lovely Jasmine and almond oil. This is a good blend of ginger and jasmine. The oakmoss lending that “spooky’ quality from the story of the same name. If it’s a fresh Something Wicked bathmelt you can smell the layers of scent, pretty floral, earthy oakmoss, spicy ginger. That said, i wish there were more scent. I’ve had a few that were stronger and the scent was very nice. But the weaker scented melts have to be brought up to the nose in order to smell them.
Lush UK also made a Something Wicked Lotion and perfume for forum members only in 2009 or 2010. It was SO good.
Lush Times 2006 description: Possibly the Queen of our new bath melt selection. Ginger and jasmine envelope you in a sensual haze of soft, warm, welcoming swirls of glittery, moisturising foam. Wicked in every sense of the word.
It makes a GORGEOUS color pattern in the water if it’s a fresh one, as you can see in my photo below.
This is what the Something wicked melt looked like one year only during halloween 2006, with a dark pink red glitter.
Here’s an 8 second video showing my something wicked perfume.
See my up close (to show the glitter) sink demo video of it below
One of the lush shower gels which came here to North America September 18, 2015. These 3 shower gels including Lord of Misrule, Don’t Rain on my Parade, and Beautiful, debuted at lush new “Superstore” on Oxford Street in London.
This shower cream is a more moisturizing, creamy shower gel, in the popular Lord of Misrule fragrance. Black pepper, vanilla and patchouli. This is a nice way of having the LOM scent. There are also two more Oxford street new products having this same scent (see Aliens and Monsters fun bar), LOM find the gap bar, and Rough With the Smooth bar, as well as the Lord of Misrule bath bomb, and the LOM perfume. Just for fun I made a photo of all these together (below).
It’s called a shower cream instead of a shower gel because it has extra moisturizing properties such as wheatgerm oil, etc.
I love this. I’ve even washed my hair with this. Because the scent stays a good long time on my skin or hair.
Below are two pictures i took of the scent family products.
Here’s a picture of the Lord of Misrule display at lush Oxford Street. They have four sizes at the Oxford street location
.
Here are the Lush products which are in the same scent family
5 out of 5 rating. See my 2 minute Tub Demo Video Below to see the new Lord of Misrule in action 😊
The Halloween 2021 Lord of Misrule is returning but with a new look!
My Tub Video
Original Lord of Misrule bath bomb 2014-2021
This is the product that started the whole “Lord of Misrule” craze. It’s hard to describe this one. I can smell the black pepper and then a yummy creamy vanilla note, like the Lord of Misrule himself, full of discord and disorderly conduct. At once lushious and treacherous. It’s so so different, and it’s addictive.
Slightly sweet and yummy but with an earthy, peppery side.
Description: This bath bomb, named after the ruler of the Pagan Feast of Fools, has a strange and magnificent fragrance created by Gorilla Perfumer Simon Constantine. This bomb will slowly dissolve to reveal a wine coloured centre, with the added sweetness of the world’s first fair trade vanilla absolute, perfectly balanced by the earthy scents of black pepper and patchouli oil.
The design of this bomb is inspired by the paper hats you find inside Christmas crackers, which were originally based on the crown the Lord of Misrule would wear whilst he presided over the court. Arriving at Halloween, the Lord of Misrule will be gracing us with his presence until the first signs of spring. Here’s a photo of the color the water ultimately turns when it’s all done fizzing. See Video below
Here’s a video i made of it in the tub, it’s cool.
Here are the Lush products which are in the same scent family
A Reusable bubble bar in a divining pendulum shape. How cool this idea. I think this is one of my favorite new products. It’s purple, but covered in a Coppery shimmer. It smells of lovely violet floral with a touch of thyme and patchouli. It mostly smells of violet.
The 3 minute video even further below is the 3 minute version which shows the water turning purple, shows the bubbles, shows the glitter in the water, etc. This shorter one here just shows it spinning above the tub. 😊
Here’s a youtube video i made of what the Divination reusable bubble bar looks like in the bath.
It’s absolutely beautiful. I’m not a fan of a lot of vetivert. That’s the only reason i didn’t rate it a 5.
Earthy scent, Smoky. Many colors in the tub! 3.75 gbp / $5.68
Tonka, and Vetivert which blend together when put in the bath, creating a smoky scent.
I smell sandalwood, but i’m not positive there’s any in here. There’s a smokey note in here. I like it, because it’s unexpected. And Dusky Purple-Grey water. With silver sparkles. Why not? 😊
Also at this video link below see my video of The original Experimenter in the tub, what a show this thing puts on.
Unfortunately i accidentally deleted the video 🙁
I was so sad that i deleted my original youtube video of this bath bomb, it was very popular but more importantly it showed the dark grey sparkly water, which was unexpected considering how colorful it is on the outside. Some people didn’t like the gray water. I thought it looked really cool!
I’m curious to see if the new one smells the same as the original. It smelled VERY smokey, with an undertone of vanilla.
Here’s a giant one (below) that they had on display in 2014 on opening day at their first Lush Oxford Street’ superstore Creative Showcase.
This bath bomb makes great bath art with almost every color of the rainbow represented!
Here’s the video i made of the newer one with regular green water. Lush makes many bath products which make enerald grern water
Review: This is a ballistic made for forum members only for one day, in the “Lily Savon”soap or “Ghost” Lush scent. Plain and simple, it’s lovely. It’s heaven on a stick. I love all the Lily Savon family of products, Ghost shower gel, Lily perfume and this ballistic. I use all of these alot lately.
