Emotibombs – Lush North America

LUSH is releasing a former product called Emotibombs! These are mostly for aroma tberapy. It’s a bath bomb for those who don’t have a tub. The Emotibombs dissolve slower than the bath bombs, and they have more concentrated essential oils to better suit the shower environment. There are four to choose from!

Too Drunk To… ($) This one is a fantastically pepperminty hangover cure with essential oils of marigold, cleansing fennel, and reviving sweet orange to help refresh and invigorate, as well as soothe a sore head. You’ll come out of the shower feeling super revitalized and raring to go!

I show my Sex N the Shower emotibomb in my pic below from my Sex Bomb scent family page It’s made in the floral Sex Bomb scent, rose, jasmine and sage.

Here’s another one a sex n the shower emotibomb from 15 years later when lush made it again for the monthly subscription box in 2025

I have a short video demo that i did using one of these lush emotibombs in my shower.

Go to 00:55 https://youtu.be/U7O6QWXZIq8

Up You Gets ($) Step into the shower with this Emotibomb and inhale the refreshing and uplifting lime, reviving grapefruit, and mind-clearing lemon oils as they waft around to wake up your senses. By the time you step out of the shower you’ll be wide awake and ready to face the day.

Up The Wooden Hill ($) Pop this Emotibomb in the shower for a quick, powerful dose of sleeping potion. It’s full of calming lavender oil and lavender absolute, along with soothing chamomile blue oil and neroli to switch off your brain for a good night sleep.

Sex In The Shower ($) As an environmentally friendly company, we encourage people to share showers to conserve water. This one is perfect for two! There’s a blend of aphrodisiac essential oils of pure jasmine absolute, ylang ylang, and rose otto with a blend of detoxifying juniperberry, sense-sharpening ginger and spirit lifting geranium. Please use responsibly!

Mumkin

4.5 out of 5 rating

See my Tub Demo video below

I love the look of this bubble bar.

I’m being picky, thats the only reason i didn’t rate it an 5. I wish it was a tad sweeter. Anything from 4-5 means i would buy nore than one.

Scent family photo

Ingredients: Sodium Bicarbonate, Cream of Tartar, Sodium Laureth Sulfate, Lauryl Betaine, Perfume, Bergamot Oil, Sicilian Lemon Oil, Violet Leaf Absolute, Gardenia Extract, Geraniol, *Limonene, *Linalool, Colour 14700, Colour 45410, Colour 17200, Dairy Free Chocolate Drops, Candy Leaf, Candy Stalk

Another scent family photo

Lush told me This has the same scent as the Lush Easter soap “Egg Hunt“, and the Lush bath oil ‘Razzle Dazzle‘, and

Lush Times: If you’re wondering what kind of creature a Mumkin is then it’s no use asking us, because we don’t know either! All you need to know is that she’s cute, very friendly and loves to be crumbled under the tap to bring you mountains of fruity bubbles. The Mumkin smells of sweet raspberries and colours the bath water a pretty shade of pink.

Mumkin, mumkin in love, pumkin. The light pink and lavender colored ‘Mumkin in Love’ or ‘Kisskin’ is rare, originally made only in Japan for their White Day. Later Lush Uk made this for one day only.

Its a somewhat raspberry-ish scent. Its not sweet. Its one of the cutest bubble bars. It makes beautiful water, as you can see in my tub demo below.

Here’s a demo video i made of this cute bubble bar

Karma shower gel

Ingredients: Sodium Laureth Sulfate, Sodium Cocoamphoacetate, Perfume, Patchouli Oil (Pogostemon cablin), Orange Oil (Citrus dulcis), Lavendin Oil (Lavendula hybrida), Pine Oil (Pinus), Lemongrass Oil (Cymbopogan flexuosus), Elemi Oil (Canarium commune), Sodium Chloride, Gardenia Extract (Gardenia jasminoides).

This is a shower gel with the Lush “Karma” scent of orange, patchouli and pine. This was invented when Lush Hilary made only five bottles for a special raffle on the Lush UK forum for forum members only. More recently, in the Lush Kitchen, Karma shower gel was remade for a limited time.

Karma shower gel is a much better way to get the Karma scent on your bod than say, the soap, except, it’s too drying on my skin.  It’s also possible to wash your hair with it or even use it as a bath foam. It’s easier to lather than the Karma soap. It’s thick and gelatinous. And a little goes a long way on a shower pouff, vs. the soap gets smaller and disappears much quicker oz for oz.  The Karma fragrance stays on the skin longer than other lush shower gels too! 😀 I give this a 4.0 out of 5 rating.

Here’s a video demo i made of this shower gel close up

Yummy Yummy Yummy shower gel

Lush Times Summer 2008: Researching for a recent television programme, Lush found out that the cost of a standard shower gel is 20% ingredients and 80% packaging. With Lush, it’s the other way around; plain packaging containing beautiful ingredients. This inspired Helen to create Yummy, Yummy, Yummy with truly wonderful natural ingredients; fresh strawberries, soothing honey and moisturising almond oil, with a drop of rejuventating olibanum oil. It’s not common or garden shower gel; it’s the yummiest Shower Cream Wash ever for the softest skin.

‘Love Letter’ bath bomb from Valentine’s 2025 and 2026 was made with the same Yummy Yummy Yummy scent ingredients.

Peeping Santa bubble bar and Peeping Santa soap.

Humpty Dumpty

See my video demo below of this cutie in the tub. 🙂

I’d rate this a 5 out of 5 rating

File Feb 26, 6 11 29 PM

This year 2021, Lush redesigned their Humpty Dumpty. There is still a little bath bomb inside so you have to crack it open to see it.

List of ingredients

Humpty Dumpty felt a sharp whack
Humpty Dumpty heard a great crack
All the king’s horses and all the king’s staff
Followed sweet Humpty straight into the bath
As soon as the cheerful egghead with the unravelling bow tie touches the water, his caramel-smooth personality is revealed in notes of bright bergamot and Brazilian orange oil. Crack a smile as his outer shell breaks away, revealing a hidden alter-eggo (scrambling for puns over here). His innards appear as a perfectly formed fried egg (an all vegan variety of course). If you’re in a hump and down in the dumps, it’s now superbly easy to flip your spirits onto the sunnyside.

File Feb 26, 6 11 53 PM

Here’s a a couple of photos i took of it’s insides.

As if the cracked egg isn’t cute enough in the water there’s a separate bomb that looks just like an egg foaming slowly over the surface of the water like a little egg ballet.

Lush: “We do not test our finished products on animals. We also only purchase from ingredient suppliers who do not test on animals. ”

Here’s a 2018 video demo of this in the tub. Below is the new design video of Humpty Dumpty

The Comforter body lotion

5 out of 5 rating

Scent family: The Comforter Bubble Bar Slice; The Comforter Shower Gel; Oopsie Daisy Bubble Bar Slice; Sweetie Pie Jelly; Cherie Ripe Massage Bar; You Snap The Whip Body Butter, and soooo many more at this time. etc.

Ingredients: Water , Sweet Almond Oil , Cocoa Butter , Glycerine, Stearic Acid, Treithanolamine, Bergamot Oil, Cassis Absolute , Cypress Oil , Cetearyl alcohol, Limonene, Linalool, Perfume, Mathylparaben, Propylparaben

Review: If you like “The Comforter” bubble bar, you will love this, full of Cassis it has a lovely somewhat raspberry scent. It differs form batch to batch but its a medium thick consistency.

The scent doesn’t stay on the skin after awhile but that’s okay.

Here’s a review video i made of the comforter lotion

Hand of Friendship

A beautiful design with a beautiful message
Made with skin-softening coconut and almond essential oils, Hand Of Friendship Soap is a cherry blossom-scented sudser that will help us all share a beautiful message to our new neighbors. For every bar sold, we’re donating 100% of the sales to our Friendship Fund, which will help various organizations provide relief to the most pressing needs of refugees arriving in North America.

Hand of Friendship soap has the same scent as:

13 States bath bomb

Cyanide Pill bath bomb

Delight bath oil

Dragon’s Temple bath oil bauble

‘Delight’ is the silver bath oil in my picture below

Dragon’s Temple bath oil bauble also has the same scent.

This is a very pretty soap.  Initially i was worried because my nose only picked up the two woody notes in this soap. However, after picking it up and smelling it 20 times i smelled a definite cherish note. And then once i smelled the cherry that’s what i primarily smell now, and the initial prominence of the woody notes drift to the background. Now when i pick it up it’s quite lovely and a bit yummyish as well. I would buy more than one of this soap.

This was noticeable more moisturizing than other soaps.  So my rating would be a 4-4.5 out of 5.

I took a couple of photos so you can see what it looks like.  As you can see i bought multiples.

Down the Rabbit Hole

5 out of 5 rating

See my demo video below

The Down the Rabbit Hole bubble bar came out for Easter 2016. When i got it, It was only sold at the Lush Oxford Street superstore in London. A lovely friend got it for me along with other things at that store and sent it to me in the mail to the U.S. A couple of years later Lush made them in the Lush Kitchen online store for one day only.

I loved this bubble bar! Its beautiful and it smells great!

Easter 2016

The Down ‘The Rabbit Hole’ bubble bar has the same scent as the Lush “Layer Cake’ soap.  Fruity with different fruits, lemon, cherry, pineapple, orange.

Heres a Lush bath ‘cocktail’ i had once had, with a yellow submarine pineapple and coconut bath bomb, and an orange lush bath oil. The went well with the lemon, cherry and orange Down the Rabbit Hole bubble bar.

In this photo i cut a cross section to see the layers

Heres a close up of the middle.

Here’s a video of it in use in my tub

Rose Jam jelly

Lush made this more currently for their May 2026 Monthly subscription box.

It’s just as good as the original one 5 out of 5 rating.

It’s shaped like a rose.

This is the original, exclusively made for Lush UK customers. They were in the large size. I bought two of them.

5 out of 5 rating  See my demo and review video of this jelly below

Lush has made many products with their “Rose Jam’ scent, and this is my favorite of the bunch.  I never knew Rose Jam could be even better, as i thought it was already a perfect fragrance.  Somehow Lush made the shower jelly even more fragrant, and a wee bit sweeter, or seemingly to my nose, than other Rose Jam scented products.

I love the smell of this even more than the Lush Rose Jam perfume believe it or not.  Not only does this jelly’s gorgeous fragrance stay on my skin long after i’ve taken a shower, but it’s more moisturizing than other Lush jellies because of the argan oil in this jelly.

Here’s a short demo video i made of this jelly

See my Twilight Jelly page too!

Twilight jelly

5 out of 5 rating See my close up demo & review video of this jelly below on the page.

The Lush.co.uk site made these ”Twilight” jellies for one day only and I was lucky enough to buy a couple. Lush made this jelly in their popular ‘Twilight’ bath bomb fragrance, which Has Lavender, and a creamy tonka bean note.

I love that Lush made these jellies in pink and blue. They’ve never done this two-color thing with a jelly.  I believe these colors were used because the Twilight Bath bomb emits pink and blue colors while dissolving in the bath.

Lush also makes a “Twilight” shower gel and a perfume that i have in the ‘Twilight’ scent and has made a liquid spray perfume in this scent as well.

An all natural scent of fresh lavender, creamy, vanillary tonka bean, and ylang ylang, coming from fresh ingredients. I got my order on Sept 6.

The Twilight bath bomb

Twilight on the left

To me the Twilight scent is even better in the jelly form.  It’s sweeter, creamier, and a bit more ylang ylang floral than in thr twilight bath bomb or shower gel.  And another plus is that this lovely scent actually stays on the skin a longer than average amount of time. This is great.

Here’s a 6 minute video with music of it close up to see the shimmer. I wash my hands with it and chop it up, etc.

since then lush has made sooo many different oroducts with this scent.

Spank Me With Saplings

4 out of 5 ratinghe Lush Kitchen at lush.co.uk  will be making these during the week of April 4-8 2016

video here  http://www.youtube.com/user/MSlushalot

Ingredients: Sodium Laureth Sulfate, Glycerine, Sea Water (Aqua), Bay Leaf (Laurus nobilis) and Olive Leaf (Olea europaea) Infusion, Grape Juice (Vitis vinifera), Propylene Glycol, Fresh Cucumber Juice (Cucumis sativus), Carrageenan Extract, Perfume, Olive Oil (Olea europaea), Cinnamon Leaf Oil (Cinnamomum cassia), Neroli Oil (Citrus amara), Oakmoss Absolute (Evernia prunastri), Black Pepper Oil (Piper nigrum), Chlorophyllin, Gardenia Extract (Gardenia jasminoides), *Cinnamal, *Citral, *Eugenol, *Geraniol, *Benzyl Benzoate, *Citronellol, *Limonene, *Linalool, Methylparaben. * Occurs naturally in essential oils

This is a somewhat unappetizing looking dark green jelly. Initially it was hard for me to pin down what it smelled like. I think that’s a good thing, means it’s not a simple fragrance. It’s a bright, sharp lemon/citrus smell with lots of astringent herbiness. I love the subtle whiff of black pepper. The herbiness is almost minty but not quite. It’s also a bit sweet smelling but just a bit. To me this is THE Lush product that would be an “Eye Opener” product for morning showers or times when we’re feeling sluggish. It smells as if Gavarnie, Slammer, Narcotick and Party On mated and had offspring.

Here’s a demo & review video i made of Spank me with Saplings review and demo video

Lush 2005 description: There’s a Nordic sauna theme to Spank Me With Saplings. Up there in the far north of Finland, where snow covers all the joins, you need to get nice and warm after venturing outside, which is probably why the Fins invented the sauna. In a pine hut in the woods, grown men cleanse their bodies by getting very hot, running outside and rolling in the snow and slapping themselves with birch twigs. Fortunately, we have a cleansing, detoxifying Shower Jelly instead. Take a hot shower, slap the refreshingly ice cold jelly (straight from the freezer) all over your body, inhale the woody oakmoss, bay and olive leaf scent and let the neroli and black pepper oils detoxify and cheer you. A Spank in the morning wakes you up and puts a smile on your face.

Lush made Poisson D’ Avril for Spring one year. It was a fish shaped bubble bar in the scent of Spank Me With Saplings.

Which Came First 2016

See my demo video of this cutie below.  Spoiler Alert though, if you don’t want to see what’s inside, don’t look any further. 🙂

6.95gbp (converted that’s $9.96)

This is the same as the previous years “Immaculate Eggception’.  Here are a couple of pics i took of it

file-jan-30-3-12-26-pm

If this sweet and citrussy bath bomb can’t answer the age-old question then what can? Crack open the generously-sized pink egg to coax out the chick inside and enjoy three egg-cellent soaks over a couple of nights. Or, if you fancy something really decadent, use the entire bomb at once to infuse your bath water with deliciously sweet, fuchsia waters brimming over with fruity fragrance. What did the chicken cross the road? To get to the bathroom of course!

4 out of 5 rating.

This a lovely currant (cassis) scented, limited edition Christmas soap is made with the same scent as Lush “Comforter”.

Having silver reindeer carved into this maroon colored soap.

However, Christmas 2016 brings  a new color to this popular Christmas soap.

It’s not particularly moisturizing, but if you like the berryish scent of the Comforter scent this is a great way to enjoy that fragrance.

This is what it looks like sold by the 100g slice.
