Apple Crumble Bubbleroon

4 out of 5 rating

see my 2 minute tub demo video below

I would give this bar a 4 out of 5. It’s cute. I like the color it makes the water. It smells nice. It’s moisturizing to my very dry skin.

It smells similar to Lush SO White but not exact, this has Myrrh, and not as much orange flower. It’s made with real apple purée.

Easter Turtle jelly has the same myrrh, orange flower, and cinnamon leaf oil scent minus the apple.

If you love to spend weekends baking spiced desserts like hot apple pies, crumbles and strudels, then it’s time to take off the apron and sink into a bath of bubbly goodness with this bubbleroon. The cream that sandwiches the sweet halves together contains fresh apple pulp that cleanses and tones as melty fair trade cocoa and shea butters keep your skin soft long after the bath. You’ll emerge smelling like your favorite treats and feeling twice as sweet.

Our fair trade organic cocoa butter is grown by farmers in eastern Congo (DRC). We pay a premium that allows them to invest in their local communities.

Benefits
  • Cocoa and shea butters soften skin
  • Fresh apple pulp cleanses and tones
  • Cinnamon leaf oil invigorates the sens

Fantastic fruity foam

If you are a fan of hot apple pies, strudels or crumbles and weekends spent baking spiced desserts with your family, hop in a bath with this bubbleroon.

Blue Skies And Fluffy White Clouds

This bubble bar has been around with Lush for years and years. It’s a bigger bar than all Lush bubble bars (except The Comforter) and hence can give you two-four baths. It remains as popular as it ever was with a combination of Frankincense, Cinnamon and Patchouli and a psychodelic blue and white swirled color.

The scent is incens-y. At one time one could buy these by the slice in an even bigger size. It makes a serene. medium-blue color in the water. I often just have this by itself because it is such a unique scent and color. It has no problem standing alone. Other lush bath products with patchouli would go well with this bubble bar. Waylander soap, Tramp shower and hair gel, Amazonian message bar. The original product which was a liquid bubble bath. Blue Skies and Fluffy White clouds Bath foam.

Lush Times 2006 description: Imagine you’re in the thousand year old spice garden of an Eastern mystic, breathing in the balancing scent of patchouli, calming, relaxing frankincense and stress-relieving, stimulating cinnamon. Now take this vision and imagine it transported to a bath near you. Imagine bathing in a deep blue bath with fluffy white bubbles, inhaling the same scents, emerging calm and revived, ready to face the world with a clear head and steady mind. Now visualize the Blue Skies and Fluffy White Clouds Bubble Bar Slice in your hands and make this vision real.

“A cloud nine patchouli soak

Why so cirrus? Tell the thunderclouds overhead to fog off with a bath to clear the skies. Sit in heaps of fluffy white bubbles, before heading back down to earth. A balancing blend of woody patchouli, warming frankincense and comforting cinnamon infuse in the bath, while the water turns a brilliant sky-blue. If you’ve been feeling under the weather, you’ll be right as rain after this patchouli-powered soak.”

You’ll love this if you like:

– Blue sky thinking in the bath.

– Aromaco solid deodorant, Tramp body spray, Pirates Of The Carrageenan bath bomb. – Having your head in the clouds with your feet firmly on the ground.

Benefits:

– Commonly used in aromatherapy, it’s said patchouli can help to balance emotions. – Warming cinnamon will cheer up dreary days.

– Aside from its incense-like fragrance, frankincense tones and soothes the skin.

How to use: Crying out cloud for a bath FULL of bubbles? This one’s for you. This double-size bubble bar is big enough for two or three baths, but if you’re feeling extravagant why not use the whole thing!

How to store: If you’re saving this bubble bar for a rainy day, store it somewhere cool and dry until you’re ready to use

Sodium Bicarbonate, Cream of Tartar (Potassium bitartrate), Sodium Laureth Sulfate, Lauryl Betaine, Cornflour (Zea mays), Patchouli Oil (Pogostemon cablin), Frankincense Resinoid (Boswellia carterii), Cinnamon Leaf Oil (Cinnamomum zeylanicum), Amyl Cinnamal, *Eugenol, *Limonene, Perfume, Colour 42090

I bought three bottles when lush uk decided to remake the liquid version for their Lush forum member customers 😊

Body Spray and Body Butter 2025

Big Bottle Of Calm Bubble Bottle

5 out of 5 rating. See my 5 minute tub demo video below 😊

This reminds me of Lush ‘Ickle Baby Bot’ bath bomb but a stronger lavender scent.

“Relax in lavender lathers

Lay back in bubbly purple waters, and let your mind drift away to a French lavender field. Breathe in, breathe out. The worries of the day float away on the chamomile tide.

You’ll love this if you like:

– Shutting out the world in a relaxing lavender bubble bath.

– Golden Slumbers bath bomb, Deep Sleep bath bomb, or anything from the Sleepy range. – A good night’s sleep.

Benefits:

– Lavender oil and lavender absolute from France soothe your mind and help aid sleep.

– Gently cleansing chamomile blue oil calms both skin and mind.

– Without a shred of plastic in sight, you’re doing your bit for the planet that grows these beautiful ingredients.

How to use: You can use this bubble bottle over, and over, and over again. Hold under the tap for mountains of bubbles, then save for when you’re ready to summon splendid suds all over again. Best used fresh.

How to store: Store in a cool, dry place before your first encounter, and in between future soaks.

Sodium Carbonate, Sodium Laureth Sulfate, Cream of Tartar, Lauryl Betaine, Glycerine, Perfume, Titanium Dioxide, Benzoin,Lavender Oil, Lavender Absolute, Chamomile Blue Oil, Roman Chamomile Oil, Tonka Absolute,

Cetearyl Alcohol & Sodium Lauryl Sulfate, Synthetic Fluorphlogopite, Tin Oxide, *Benzyl Benzoate, *Benzyl Cinnamate, *Cinnamal, *Coumarin, *Geraniol, *Limonene, *Linalool, Colour 77007, Colour 17200, Colour 77491, Colour 77266, Colour 42090”

This is bigger than i realized. I like that.

Its scents is along the same lines as Sleepy or Twight, but less floral. Instead of ylang ylang flower like sleepy, Big Bottle of Calm has blue chamomile which brings another layer of herbal scent.

Lush claims this reusable bar will give up to ten baths. We shall see. As the video shows, it looks like i didnt even use any as it looks like nothing is gone of the bar after using it for my bath.

The silver glitter on the outside doesnt go all through the bar. As soon as you wet it tge glitter comes off. So it leaves no glitter in the bath water.

Bathos

5 out of 5 rating

See my 4 minute tub demo video below

Lush says:

“Roses are red, violets suit you. Sink into the lilac-hued waters of this floral classic. Posies of violet and spicy clove fragrance and soften your skin. The Ancient Greeks used violets in love potions and considered it a symbol of fertility and love – why not be seduced by this sweet, purple bath?”

Review: The classic spicy “Bathos” bubble bar gives great looking, deep purple water. It has the strong scent of sweet violets and spicy cloves. Barthes is VERY fragrant.  There’s also a teeny bit of dark green glitter on the top. This bubble bar can stand alone without being combined with anything. 5 stars. *****

Before this bubble bar existed there was a liquid bubble bath called Bathos which had the same scent as the bubble bar that came later, but the liquid one was dark green. And before that they had a bath bomb called Bathosphere around 1999 or so which was green and had the same scent.

you can see my bathos perfume from Lush UK in my photo below

Here’s a picture of the Bathos Bath Foam: http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y181/lush-a-lot/LushBathosbathfoamsml-1.jpg

lush says:

“You’ll love this if you like:

– Swirly purple-hued baths that smell like violet flavoured sweets.

– The scent of Daddy-O shampoo, Sugar Daddy-O solid conditioner, or Kerbside Violet perfume. – Taking time to appreciate the small, fleeting moments in life.”

Benefits:

– Violet leaf has anti-inflammatory and antiseptic effects on the skin.

– The scent of violets help to settle your mood and mind, aiding restful sleep.

– Ylang ylang oil helps to reassure and uplift, leaving you feeling happy and carefree.

How to use: Crumble under running water to fill your bath with purple rain and fluffy white bubbles. How to store: Keep in a cool, dry place to keep this potent bubble bar ultra-violet.

Sometimes I like to go the “all purple” route,  too and have Bathos with a Lush Jingle Spells  bath bomb or a Lush Blackberry Bomb.

By the way, here’s a picture of a Bathos that is 5 years old. The dates on the wrapper there. I found it at the bottom of one of my lush tupperware tubs.

A more recent tub demo video

Here’s a not very recent demo video i made a long time ago.

Lush Times 2006 Description: If you prefer to keep your bath to yourself and wouldn’t dream of allowing anyone else anywhere near the bathroom when you’re in there naked, please don’t allow the following suggestion to detract from your enjoyment of a bubbly, mauve Bathos bath. If you prefer to share your bath for reasons of ecological soundness or just plain fun, then Bathos is absolutely ideal! We make it with some of most sensual, relaxing essential oils on the planet, including lots of violet leaf which is reputed to help people remember why they got together in the first place. Don’t put one of these in the bath in the morning on a workday. Save it for later.

Roller body spray

5 out of 5 rating

See my 3 minute drmo and review video below

Roller bath bomb is my favorite Lush bomb for looks and scent. I love everything in this scent family. I love the caramelly strawberry notes of this scent. Its very sweet and very strong when first sprayed. So keep in mind if you dont like sweet scents you might not enjoy roller spray.

As i show in the video i sprayed 1 1/2 sprays and as soon as it dries down it lessens in strength but not as much asany body sprays do. Roller stays pretty true to how it smells in the bottle. It smells the ssme on my skin. I only had to spray this 2-3 times during the day for it to last all day so its fairly strong comparatively speaking.

Scent Description: Within this delectable strawberry and cream scent swims a harmonious mingling of geranium, fresh Brazilian orange and sweet tonka absolute.

You’ll love this if you like:
– Bold geranium florals.
– Magic Mushroom bubble bar or Yummy Mummy shower gel.
– Hitting the strawberry fields for some wholesome berry picking.

Lush Brrr & Bam shower slime

3 out of 5

These were made by Lush UK only.

I love the scent of Nevermind the Ballistics. Alot of people were confused when they came out as an limited edition exclusive because people were expecting the blue one to be the minty one (brr, cold, blue) and Nevermind to be the Yellow one (since the nevermind bath bomb was half yellow), but they were the opposite.

Brr is minty and bam smells like a tropical fruit scent and frankincense.

As is usual for a lush slime these are thick but runny.

Heres a link to my demo and review video of them as i use them at the sink.

Yog Nog jelly

5 out of 5 rating

See my video below of this jelly 🙂

Lush introduced Yog Nog jelly in August of 2018. Lush may, or may not, have this available for Christmas 2019.

This is an opaque, single colored yellow jelly. It feels more conditioning than other Lush jellies.

Its made with Clove bud oil, and ylang ylang flower. It reminds me of the burnt sugar smell of a creme brulee dessert. Like egg nog with burnt sugar. Yummy.

Lush International has made many products in the yog nog scent.

Sex Bomb shower gel

4 out of 5 rating

This is one of six exclusive shower gels that Lush.co.uk made ‘just because’ from community favorite bath bombs

Honestly, This is the shower gel i was the least excited about. Ive seen sex bomb in one form or another for 17 years. *yawn*

However, i was in for a surprise when i used this for the first time.

Firstly, it has this quite unexpected pink shimmer to it. SO pretty. The bath bomb that this shower gel was named after doesnt have any glitter nor shimmer so this was a pleasant surprise. its not glitter like in Intergalactic shower gel, this is *shimmer*, more subtle than glitter. Beautiful. I just keep gazing at it in the light.

Secondly, the scent isn’t as complex as rhe bsth bomb scent. That said-this is what i could call a classically ‘pretty’ scent. Its feminine and floral. Having rose, and jasmine florals. The herbaceousness of the sage is kind of missing, and the ylang ylang isnt coming across at all to me but….i dont care because this floral shower gel scent has great ‘throw’. Its not a sweet scent. Just floral.

And more importantly two hours after my shower im getting compliments about how i smell at the grocery store, and from my husband. He said it smells sexy.

I SEE you Sex Bomb shower gel! ❤️

Turmeric Latte shower gel

3 out of 5 rating

I love the creamy goodness of the Lush Turmeric Latte bath bomb, so i was excited to get the shower gel.

Upon examination i was surprised there wasn’t glitter in this particular shower gel, since the bath bomb makes TONS of gold glitter in the bath water.

The scent is one of those sort of non-descript scents. Its a cross between perfume-y and food-y.

It smells like a combination of mens cologne and pie.

Yes.

So its a very different kind of scent. It’s scent does seem to cling onto the skin long after my shower. I can smell it on my arma couple of hours after my shower.

Since turmeric latte isn’t made with coffee, nor chocolate it doesnt smell like an American Cafe Latte. Turmeric is a spice used in indian cooking and other foods. Its what lends the golden color.

Tumeric latte is made with golden milk.

And thats what this scent smells like.

While i like it and will use it, i don’t love it. Its nice and confitioning to my skin, moreso than the other Lush shower gels. And its consistency is nice and thick.

Lush have also made the massage bar.

Groovy Kind of Love shower gel

3 or 4 out of 5 rating

Some days i think it a 4, and other days i think its a 3.

This is one of six shower gels that Lush made just because, from our favorite in-store bath bombs.

While im quite enamored with the woody, fruity scent of the bath bomb, the scent in the shower gel doesnt quite translate tjat similarly. That said its still a good smelling shower gel. It translates to a straight up bubble gum scent.

The look of the bomb is a rainbow of bright colors, and so the bath bombs scent is also multi layered with contrasting notes of woodiness and fruitiness.

The shower gel isnt quite as much of a mixture of notes as it is a muddiness of scents. Intetestingly this blending becomes bubblegum.

My husband is even less impressed by this shower gel, he does NOT like the scent. He says it smells like bad breath. Yikes. I dont get that at all but your mileage may vary. *closes the lid of the bottle with a loud snap*

Its a nice thick bright orange shower gel.

It doesnt have glitter because the bath bomb has no glitter.

If you like bubblegum scents you’ll love this shower gel.

Intergalactic shower gel

4 out of 5

See below for my 30 second close up video demo of this beautiful gel.

I show the Intergalactic bath bomb in my photo below. The bsth bomb came first and was sold as a regulr year round item in all stores for a couple years. The shower gel came next as an exclusive Lush community product.

Lush made six shower gels from six popular bath bombs. Intergalactic being one of the six.

The bath bomb is very popular because of its looks and its scent. Its cobalt blue and full of Glitter. Like a planet, in space, amongst the sparkly stars. Its a nice consistency its not a thin gel.

The bath bomb is sweet, minty, woody and citrussy. However, the shower gel loses some of its sweetness, and its woodiness in the translation. So the shower gel is minty and herbal with a jint of grapefruit. Not as sweet though, and not as layered in scent.

But nice smelling nonetheless. ❤️

Trying to show the sparkles in my photos above and below.

In this short video clip show the gels consistency by pouring it in a bowl.

Lush has made an Intergalactic bubble bar in 2024 as well as an Intergalactic ‘showder’ (shower powder soap), and an exclusive Intergalactic soap from the 2017 yearly Lush creative showcase event.

Guardian of the Forest shower gel

4 out of 5 rating

I cant remember the exact year but the bottle above was made for the very first time between 2014-2018.

The second bottle in my pic below was remade in July 2024 for the lush online community. Lush asked us to vote on what Lush product we would like them to make into a shower gel.

Voting was via a google doc that Lush setup

Lush Guardian of the Forest bath bomb is one of my favorite green scents.

I am very excited that Lush included Guardian of the Forest in their newest ‘we’re making shower gels of your favorite bath bombs just because’.

As i state in my video i think of GOTF as a new classic Lush green scent. Its both deep green but also bright with cypress.

Its a translucent gel. I was somewhat disppointed that it doesnt have glitter since the bath bomb has emerald green glitter but its not a huge deal because im just glad to have a nice green smelling shower gel to enjoy!

It smells like I’m in a forest or a fairy glade only not quite as woody as the bath bomb.

Rosewood, oakmoss, cypress, and lime.

The gel is nice and thick and it lathers up nicely on my skin.

Its such a soothing, grounding scent.

The forest is alive. Can you hear the trees whispering the secrets of the earth to you? They beckon you onward. Feel the carpet of cool, thick moss beneath your bare feet as citrus sunlight breaks through the trees ahead, gilding the world in dappled gold and green. Follow the footsteps of a mysterious creature and emerge into a clearing, a trickling waterfall in a glade of rosewood and cypress – the heart of the forest. Let the ethereal tranquility surround you as you step beneath the water, earthy oakmoss and cleansing lime washing away any trace of the world beyond. It’s just you and the trees.
